Name: Quentin Chandler; Ahren Terrance

Age: 16, Demigod

God Parents: Palaemon; Lyssa

Mortal Parents: Vina Chandler; Kean Walters

Personality: Quentin is a quiet and intelligent boy. Though not always that quiet, he prefers being in silent places, mostly by the sea shore. He is nice to talk to, being all calm and gentle. Bad side is that he gets easily in the bad mood sometimes. When on that state, he tends to always reply sarcastically and look at everyone and everything with a sneer. Quentin loves sailing, and dreams to travel the whole world by the sea.

Ahren is a mischievous and hard-headed boy. He doesn't normally speak to people all the time, and if he ever does, he gives them a scowl. He is moody, and gets more frustrated everytime he reads words because of his dyslexia. Being with rogue demigods, he became rude and selfish. He likes picking on people and making them confused or terribly surprised. But whenever he is alone, he tends to pet a dog, if he ever finds one, or just sleep the whole time and not mind the things that are happening around him.

History:

Parents

Kean Walters loved trickery and petting huge dogs. As a model, he was also famous for his tricks, deceiving, make-believes and shpwing off his huge and scary pets—which he considered as his friends. Some hated him, but some liked his ways. Lyssa earned a liking on him, and so did her sister Apate. Lyssa didn't want as so much, but Apate, despite her cruelty and being cunning, felt that somehow if they had a child that child would be someone of importance, a beacon of putting her up high. In this way, both deities acted as mortal women. Kean met Apate first, but fell more deeply for Lyssa. Apate, knowing that she'd lost, stormed away in rage. Soon enough, Lyssa and Kean got together, but Lyssa immediately left, not knowing how angry her sister was.

Kean had a friend, Vina Chandler, who lightened him up after the girl he met—Lyssa as Lydia—left him. Vina made sure Kean was alright, since he was one of her closest friends. On a time she went to the mall, she met a man—Palaemon in disguise as a man named Peter—who helped her in reaching some of the groceries. He helped along, which Vina was grateful for. In times, they had dates and walks. They also got together, then he told Vian who he was, what he was, and all the Greek stuff. Vina didn't care, since she loved him much. Palaemon knew she was going to have a child, so he told her about the place where their child should reside sooner. As a gift, Palaemon gave her a bracelet, made from the material of sharks' teeth and beads of Celestial bronze, which can be turned into a sword by will.

During those times, Kean had already fallen for Vina, not knowing about her affairs. When he knew about Vina getting pregnant, he raged. He started hurting her and swearing he'd kill the man whom Vina was with. Vina, getting the feeling that he was too much, fled to Washington from Montana. There, she had birth with Quentin, and raised him there. On the other hand, Kean saw a baby on his doorstep, wailing in a basket, with nothing about the baby' s identity. Frustrated and crazed, he put the basket in an alley far from theirs and never returned for the kid. A manager of a foster home saw him, and took him in, naming him Ahren Terrance, after the manager's surname.

Childhood

Ahren, growing up in foster care, got some school knowledge and became a bit of a bully and got in a lot of trouble. Age six he brought small snakes in the house, strangled them, and left them at the doors of the rooms. Seven he let in a rabid dog in the backyard, scaring all the other kids. Nine and he almost burned the house when he flamed up the rugs hanging outside. Twelve, he got enough of the life in the foster home, so he decided to escape.

Quentin had a good childhood despite the absence of a father. He got honours in school and awards in contests. A lot wanted him as a friend, but he preferred none, just acquaintances. He never got into trouble, except for one time when he accidentally smudged a painting in a gallery when he was eight. Vina thought he was alright and did not expect an attack, but gave him the bracelet Palaemon gave her before.

Monster attacks

Ahren got out fast and easy, using a trouble he made as cover up when he was 13.  He wandered through the streets and stole some food. But a swarm of Stymphalian birds came on to him. Seeing them as they really were, he started to run. He got cuts and bruises, but a group of boys and some girls came fighting with them until the ones left fled. After that, the group of kids—some a bit older than he was—introduced themselves as Ekdikisi. Asking if he wants to join them, Ahren agreed and got with them and their hideout in Montana.

Quentin had his first attack on 13. He was by the shore then when a single telekhine appeared. Making stupid sounds he got up and got surprised. It advanced towards him, but his mind suddenly went blank. Then he remembered his mother muttering something about the bracelet as protection. He though it was crazy, but focused on the bracelet, thinking about how come it'd be protection. He was about to think it was some superstition when it wove its way around his hand and grows into a long Celestial bronze sword. The telekhine made stupid noises, and Quentin did what was obvious. He swung the blade, hitting its target in the chest and it burst into golden dust. The sword then melted to a bracelet, leaving him running like crazy.

Ahren got fond of Ekdikisi. He knew about demigods, that he probably was one of them, too. Then he learned that the group's patron was Apate, the goddess of trickery, fraud, decption and guile. They said that she helped them through all these times, and now they were trying to do a favour for her. Apate wanted a bit of 'revenge' on Lyssa, and now the group was planning to take the dog-head cap, Lyssa's symbol of madness, and to 'punish' a mortal who made Apate so angry. Ahren wanted to join, but wasn't told yet of the final plan. Years Ahren came and went with them, a lot of monsters attacking them and trying to kill them, but their force was strong. Ahren got his own Celestial bronze sword and spear when he was 14, with the spear's mundane form as a small cylinder, growing in full length when button is pressed.

Ekdikisi got around Washington, Ahren was sixteen. Hellhounds and harpies got in their way, but they easily fought them down, especially their leader, Marcus, a son of Hermes.

Quentin, after the telekhine incident, didn't tell anything to his mother, but kept quiet. He tried to keep it normal when the next year a month after his 14th birthday, two harpies attacked him. One got smashed by a truck, while the other he destroyed, him getting more cuts and bruises. His mom got suspicious, but he convinced her to put it off. Then a month before his 16th birthday, a hellhound attacked him in school. He got in cornered in the gate, but it was too strong. Then silver arrows rained down on it, turning it to golden dust. Quentin spotted girls in silver after, but they disappeared quickly. Now Vina got very suspicious, and decided it was time to let him go.

Meeting of Quentin and Ahren

Ahren tried to roam around the city, leaving the group for a while. Ekdikisi felt like Ahren was bad luck, and had wanted him away. So they used that moment to dump him and run away. Ahren, unconscious to this, passed a public park. There, he suddenly bumped Quentin who was alos there, and he said sorry. But Ahren knew Quentin was also a demigod when a dracaenae suddenly appeared form the trees. Quentin brought out his sword, and so did Ahren. No time to chitchat, they attacked the dracaenae, Ahren on lead. Slash and cut and dodge, they defeated it. And then they did chitchats. The yintroduced, and Quentin said didn't know all those things. Ahren explained, with Quentin still in doubt.

Ahren wanted to introduce him to Ekdikisi, but the ywere nowhere to be found. he searched, but nothing. He got mad, and cursed at the group's name. Quentin then invited Ahren to his house, hoping his mom would have an idea about all this. And exactly as they arrived home, Vina demanded to know whatever Quentin saw, also to introduce Ahren. Quentin told everything, including Ahren's explanation. Vina got scared ,and told him to pack bags. Quentin did not quarrel, however, Ahren didn't know what to do. Vina told him he should come along.

Camp Half-Blood

For a month, Quentin 16, they got everything they need, including an unexpected attack from two telekhines. Ekdikisi never came back, increasing Ahren's hatred to them. They flew to New York, and Vina drove them to Camp Half-Blood, remembering everything Palaemon said to her. As soon as they arrived, Vina explained the place to them. Quentin didn't want to leave his mom, but Ahren forced him to, since he felt like the Camp would be a help.

Entering the Camp, Ahren told him about Ekdikisi's plan, which wasn't the final yet. Quentin thought that maybe someone in the Camp would help, dealing that they would tell whoever's managing the Camp.

Weapons: Quentin has a bracelet made of shark teeth and Celestial bronze beads, which turns into a Celestial bronze sword which wraps around his hand and wrist by will. Ahren has his own Celestial bronze sword and also Celestial bronze spear that can shrink into a small cylinder with a button.

  • Note: About the rogue demigod group and everything about it, I plan to do a quest on it when they're claimed.

If you were to write a story with me in the lead role, it'd certainly be . . . a tragedy.Boo

good claim but before I claim this enlighten me why you choose to make one page instead of two for them?

Well, I'd thought to put them in one page cuz they'd be going together to Camp, and will be also having a quest. They're fates are tied together. :)

If you were to write a story with me in the lead role, it'd certainly be . . . a tragedy.Boo

Ok so can you explain the quest? So that I have an idea on what to expect before I claim this.. (P.S:sorry for skipping you before something happen and >.< lets just leave it at that)

~~

Okay. So, I was planning that the quest would involve Ekdikisi—they're like the main...antagonist or the ones they're looking for. Since they're led and formed by Apate—who now wants revenge on Lyssa for like 'stealing' Kean the mortal guy—the group is determined to take Lyssa's symbol, which is the dog-head cap, and also take the mortal himself for some 'punishment' that only Apate knows. And Quentin and Ahren will try to stop that.

Also, the group will 'succeed' in taking the cap, which will of course make Lyssa angry that she unleashes every dog's bad side—which will cause a bit of chaos in every city that Ekdikisi passes by. So, Quentin and Ahren's  job is to stop the rebel demigods from finally hiding the cap under Apate's power and saving Ahren's biological father.

Now I have a question: if ever Quentin and Ahren can't be together on such one quest (can they?), could they be under one quest but split into different ways? (Like Ahren is going to stop the rebels blah blah and Quentin is going to save Ahren's dad and probably encounter Lyssa and pleads her to stop the rampage of the scary dogs and tells blah blah.)

So..that's my idea :)

Ok I know this isnt the place to question quest ideas but I have to ask why the ekdikisi? why didnt Apate did it herself? How did they recruit them? and why? plus how many are them? if you want to 'separate' the quest?? and no summer you can only control one char in one quest so I guess the split is ok but what happen afterwards?

Behind those cold hard computer screens.....SuitIsASexyWhoreThere’s a human heart beating away its emotions…

Tis fine. One reason why Apate used mortals is to get some other god's symbol is that gods are forbidden to steal a thing from another—even the evil ones follow that rule. So with that, they can just do the other job altogether. So to cover herself up, she started from one demigod to another..like you know, tricking and making them believe—which they did—and the demigods strated to recruit others—finding half-bloods who doesn't want to keep staying at camp or half-bloods who have never known about theie real selves and just join them under the protection of a goddess, keeping in mind that whoever does Apate's favor will get a reward. They're probably 14 or more, and that's why they get a lot of attacks.

So...the split is okay then.....I'm not sure what kind of 'afterwards', but probably, since its a split quest, they'd eventually come back to Camp, but not together. They'll just see themselves together again if we continues the end part. :)

Note: Because of the new CHBRP 2.0 policies the quest doesnt have to be slipt because you can now rp to char on one quest
