  1. Character Name: Daniélle Adelaide Lèmieux Rachel Sabina Forsyth
  2. Godly parent: Eros
  3. Species: Demigoddess
  4. Current Age: 511 18
    Rachel
  5. Mortal parent name: Dorothée Lèmieux
  6. Personality: Making friends, to Rachel, is somewhat hard. She judges the world too harshly now, she sees a lot of malice in it and the people the occupy it; however, if you make an effort and don't turn away the second her harsh, sarcastic bites hit you, you'll eventually see she's a good person. Dani's mouth runs quicker than her brain does more often than not, something that has gotten her in trouble with not just Hades, but other mortals she has crossed before. Still, she's fiercely loyal when you get close to her, as evidence by how bummed out she'd been at the loss of Paloma and Jakob.

Rachel is painfully realistic. She isn't a pessimist; there's a fine line between realism and pessimism. No matter what ever hope she may hold out for anything, she has no problem accepting the reality of the situations she finds herself in, regardless of what it is. The difficulty of her life has weighted in on how realistic she has become, she just accepts what she sees now, hence why it wasn't so hard to believe she no longer looked like herself, and probably never would again.

this is the base. i wanna rp her some before i add on, so it's as accurate as possible.
  7. History:

"Who knew Gods could be so vengeful."

"Is it really necessary to elaborate on my early childhood? There's not much to say. I was born on July of 1506 as a demigoddess-passed-for-mortal, raised by mortal parents that went by Dorothée & Ambroise Lèmieux. I was an only child, if you didn't count my older half-brother born out of wedlock. He was my mother's son, but his father was the Greek God Hermes. Shocking, right? Back then, it was all for the most part
Christianity that was trying to be spread, not exactly the belief in the Greek Pantheon. Regardless, it happened. My mother was able to hide it, passing my demigod brother Dominique as my father's son, until he suddenly went missing. Nobody knew where he was; however, I deduced from the dreams Persephone contacted me through that Dominique was eventually claimed under her protection and we would never see him again. At least, not until Hades cursed me, creating a series of events that even to this date have not come to a successful end. But she didn't mention that. Of course she didn't. She wasn't aware of what would happen until it happened. Hades is an asshole like that."

That's all Daniélle is willing to admit of her life, never delving deeper into the subject and elaborating on her past. She's not scared or ashamed, but simply mentally drained. She has had such a complicated life until now, she just wants to put all the madness behind her and look towards her future.

She was born as Daniélle Adelaide Lèmieux, in Nice, France. She led a simple life - as simple as it was back then - and had an ordinary family. It was her papa Ambroise, her mama Dorothée and her older half-brother-passed-as-full-brother Dominique. Dominique was an entirely different situation than Dani was. Not really. Dani was a "full-fledged mortal", Dominique was a demigod son of Hermes born out of wedlock. Dorothée was very lucky to have fallen into Hermes' trap just days before she was to be wed. She was able to pass Dominique as Ambroise's son, whom didn't find out about his son's true heritage until years afterwards, some time after Dominique's disappearance. In all honesty, Dani was a daughter of Eros. She was the result of a one night stand, between her mother and Eros, an event that wasn't common back then. Regardless, it happened and Dani was conceived. Dorothee had been all too aware of who she was dealing with at the time, but she wasn't in a proper state of mind, filled with such passion and lust, that it still happened.

Dani hadn't been particularly close to Dominique due to their 7 year age difference, but regardless, she still recognized a feeling of heaviness, a feeling of loss, when Dom was supposedly "kidnapped". She'd been home when it happened, and Dom had been out, headed to the small town nearby for Gods-know-what. She was just six, but to be so young, she sure was intelligent, able to put together her brother's loss had a major negative impact on her family. Apollo had, as a matter of fact, taken a liking towards the girl. He had a vague idea of what her life would turn out to be - as God of prophecies - and had the strong feeling the young girl's life wouldn't be an easy one. So, he did what he could, going as far as giving her the education women lacked in that era during her dreams. He did focus a lot on Greek Mythology, since he knew she'd eventually be thrown into the Greek world, but didn't hesitate to pass on some knowledge he had as Greek God of said topic to the little girl. He kept everything age-appropriate and was there for the younger demigoddess for as long as he could, when he wasn't off doing his Godly duties or procreating more demigods, but there came a time - months after Dominique was kidnapped - that he was replaced by none other than Lady Persephone. While Dani wasn't able to recognize her on the spot, she found out who it was, although it was only because Persephone had introduced herself. Being a dream, they had limited time, so Persephone got right to the point, claiming Dani had the duty to alleviate her parents of the worry that plagued them over Dominique. He'd be fine, according to Lady Persephone, as she'd claimed him under her protection. She was vague, not giving any details other than the fact that he belonged with his people, as a demigod, but left that responsibility on the girl's shoulders.

Dani did her best - she truly did. She told her papa and mama that Dom was in a better place, that he was with Lady Persephone, but her parents did nothing other than ignore her and push her aside, relentless in the search for their son, until Dani offhandedly made a remark of how he was a demigod and he would know how to protect himself. That snapped her parents out of the messy bubble they were in and elicited very different reactions. While her papa was annoyed that his child was saying such stupidities, he also thought she was confused. That she'd be fixed eventually. But her mama? Her mama was pissed. How could her daughter know the truth? She tried to play off the situation as her daughter being confused, but as time went on and Dani refused to relent and stop being so insistent (no matter how many times her mother hit her or threatened her), Dorothée recognized the truth would have to come out. And so it did, in a conversation between her and Ambroise. He found out about both his kids' heritage, because Dorothee knew the truth about Dani would come out eventually, so she may as well allow it to come out now, under her terms. To say he took it lightly is to say pure bullshit. He was enraged and wanted to leave the two females to fend for themselves, but his religion didn't permit it. It held him back. Without much of a choice, he was forced to endure the marriage. Things were never the same between Dani's mama and papa, but he didn't leave them, and that was enough for the little girl. She missed the man her father once was - the man that had loved her unconditionally and protected her and made her happy, but to have him like this was better than to not have him at all.

As she grew up, she never really witnessed anything out of the ordinary. Her dreams with Apollo had begun to shorten until the amount of dreams featuring the God of Prophecies began to dwindle along. By the time she was 12, she wasn't receiving any dreams. It seemed that - at last - she'd be able to leave behind her the Greek World and everything that came with it. Oh how wrong she was.

In the years she'd spent growing up, molded into a wonderful teenage girl with a still-dysfunctional family, her brother Dom had been kept as something of a slave in the Underworld. What started off as a home (with admittedly a lot of work to do for) and protection from Lady Persephone developed into a friendship, which turned into something sexual years later. Dani's life wasn't interesting those years, to be honest. They really weren't. Being a part of the Greek World had - by far - been the most eventful thing to ever happen to her. To lose that... well, she just lost that special spark to her. She should have been attacked, she really should have, but her finding out about her heritage through attacks was delayed over and over by neighboring demigods, who'd always detect and kill off the monster sin the neighborhood. Had it not been for them, Dani (now Rachel) is sure she'd have faced a beast before she turned fourteen. Regardless, she was thrust back into it at the age of 16, when none other than Lord Hades cursed her. She'd been asleep when it happened. The God of the Underworld had found out about his wife and her protect-ee's little sexcapades, which had taken place not once, not twice, but thrice. He wouldn't have been too affected for this had it been some other mortal, but the fact that this took place right under his nose, that it had been one of her minions really got to him. His wife was pregnant with that little piece of shit's spawn. So he aimed to hit the mortal where the God knew it'd hurt most. The mortal's sister. Daniélle.

By the time Dani woke up, two whole, dominant souls had been placed inside her. From that moment on, she would no longer be the only soul occupying her body. One of the souls was a son of Ares and the other was a daughter of Harmonia, whom knew each other way back when they were in their own bodies. The curse should have taken its toll on the Dani's body and soul immediately, weighting it down until it killed her, all occurring almost in a matter of seconds. But Hades knew better. There was something particularly special about the curse placed on Dani. Along with the two new whole, dominant souls she was carrying, she had the weight of immortality. She was never going to age a day again.

Dani was immediately aware of the weight she now carried, and how there was a faint gold aura to her, but she thought it was just her own imagination. Until, of course, she began to get nasty migraines, which slowly began to be made out as the other two souls - Jakob and Paloma - communicating with her. She was scared out of her wits and had nasty migraines to deal with, since arguments between them were easily started. It wasn't easy dealing with this, especially when she was beyond confused as to what was happening to her. She didn't even have the chance to complain to her parents, to tell them of the bad voices in her head, to tell them how everything hurt and she was tired and she felt like she was being dragged down, before Hades personally came over to take his newfound cursed errand girl to take her to the Underworld. To the mortal world, Dani had disappeared, more likely than not run away due to a lack of apparent force in her room.

In his Throne Room - while Persephones was out and about in her gardens - he was able to explain (vaguely, however) who he was, who she was, what he did to her, what the curse entailed, and why. To say Dani was pissed and felt betrayed by her own brother was a silly underestimation. She was livid. He dragged her back into this mess, a mess she'd been involved with in the first place because of him. She wanted to give him a good beat, but it seemed Hades didn't want her and would not allow her to come into contact with him. As much as it'd please him to see the little scoundrel get wrecked by his own little sister, he'd very much rather see the brat suffer from afar, watching his sister run as many errands for Hades as she could. Dom assumed she'd be there for an eternity, something that broke him inside when he found out about his sister's situation. He knew how vengeful Hades could be, how he held onto grudges fiercely, but to go to the extent of kidnapping his little sister for an accidentally spawned child? He failed to find the reasoning behind the God's actions. Then again, he was an arrogant asshole, so what could you expect from one such Dominic Lèmieux?

Dani - who now knew of her Greek heritage - saw herself forced to learn how to juggle training with children of Hades, learning to live with two voices having a screaming match inside her head all day every day, and complete all of Hades' tasks and run what ever errands he saw no need for him to run. Most of the times it was these completely useless, unneeded tasks that he created just for funs to see the girl kick herself over completing them. He got joy out of seeing her frustrated and exasperated, if not pained and in misery, since it meant he saw Dom watching her from a distance, pained and in misery himself.

Months became years, years became decades, and decades became centuries. Dani went through century after century as Hades' errand girl, until he gradually began to lose interest in her until he got close to forgetting her, which probably would have happened, if it weren't for the fact that he still had work for her to do, which just led to her being sent on more missions, which became to increase in the amount of time it took due to their complexity. At least she had Jakob and Paloma, right? Yeah, well, that didn't last, because eventually (finally), Hades summoned her to his throne after a particularly long mission, ready to perform the necessary procedure to pull the invading two souls out. To be honest, she'd warmed up to them, so the prospect of losing Paloma and Jakob was upsetting, but she knew she'd move on. She'd be able to have a normal life now, or at least as normal as it could be as a demigoddess. She wouldn't have her immortality, either, so she really would be able to live her life out. It was 2015. It was about time.

What Dani hadn't been banking on was the effect that the loss of two whole, dominant souls would have on her body. When they were removed, Dani just passed out. She passed out. There was nothing else to it. She was about to die, and Hades was just going to let her. He didn't really care much for her, even when she spent years covering for his ass if related to mortal affairs. This is where Lord Apollo came back into the story. Fun fact: her time was not there yet. The fates couldn't cut her string. There was literally no way she could die then, they wouldn't allow it, so a way was found for her not to die before time and disturb the balance of the world. Apollo was able to take her from Hades (he didn't really care about her, she had just been a nuisance he was glad to get rid of) and place her in a god-induced coma. He knew about her, about what her life had been like. She was a demigoddess, the demigoddess he had tutored when she was a little girl living in France. He remembered her perfectly, since truthfully, it hadn't been too long ago for him.

Her body healed for the next year and a half. It had clearly taken its toll on her, having two more souls to bear. Yet she pushed through. She pushed through and was able to escape death. She awoke on November 16, 2016. Now, would you believe me if I told you she had a fast recovery from the coma and wasn't long until she was released into the mortal world? Would you believe me if I told you she was able to move on, get a new life? Would you believe me if I told you she'd received help and had been able to get herself a new name, a new identity? That's right, Daniélle Adelaide Lèmieux was no more. She had died, back in Olympus. Rachel Sabina Forsyth had risen from her ashes, ready to start anew, as nobody other than the daughter of Eros. The host of just one soul. Her own soul. She was a whole new, different person. She could have a normal life now, which she began to lead with relative ease. She was at Camp for maybe a week that November - just enough time to catch up important events she'd missed, like the historical presidential elections. Then, she was off.

Rachel never stayed in the same place for too long, just two or three days, at most. She travelled through the United States for the following months, going to as many parties as she could. Some were frat parties, some were a little more intense than that. Regardless, she made sure to live out the childhood she'd missed out on. She was going to make the best out of her remaining years in youth. Her days were numbered now, they weren't unlimited, like they were during her time with Hades. There was no telling when her string would be cut now that she was mortal and forging her own destiny. It was evident when she was cursed - for the second fucking time - at a party. It was January 2017 by then, and she was in the state of Wisconsin. The night was a blur, but the important details were that she got intoxicated at the party and came across this girl - a daughter of Hecate (not that she knew that, or who the girl even was) - who was running from very bad people. The girl gave her a drink. The drink knocked Rachel out.

By the time Rachel woke up again, her head was pounding, the sun was too bright, and she no longer looked like herself. She wasn't a redhead anymore, she didn't have freckles, her eyes weren't green. She looked completely different. She wasn't - still isn't - sure what happened that night, but she's dying to find out. She tried, actually, to make sense of what happened that night, to find any hints any clues as to what happened, but she couldn't. No, instead she ran right into a pack of hellhounds. That was a fight she'd never forget. She had a hangover and had been caught unprepared. Luckily, she had her sword on her. Unfortunately, she still faced heavy injuries, which probably would have killed her, if it weren't for the fact that someone came around just in time to help her. She was knocked out already when the chick showed up, and had been about to be killed. The girl got rid of the hellhounds for Rachel and had been able to treat her wounds as best as she could, but they were too deep and soon to be infected, so she had to get her back to her home.

The rest of January went by in a flash. The girl turned out to be a - surprise surprise - daughter of Apollo. She was able to help her out, get her back on her feet, be her support net and doctor, nursing her back to prime health. Rachel had clearly been out of practice with her sword, so they also got around to training together. In all honesty, Rachel hadn't meant to stay, but she became too trusting of the girl that saved her, with her sweet smiles and soft words. Yeah, that was a huge mistake. Why? Because it turned out the girl was working for the wrong side of the Greek World, trying to get people to join her demented cause. Rachel knew better than that, so she left as soon as she realized. She fled to none other than Camp Half-Blood. It was time for a little stability, no? It's been just a few hours since she got to camp, and it's safe to say she already likes it. It's better than where she's lived these past few months, she knows, even in such a short time.

Rachel still intends to find out how she ended up looking like she does.

  1. Weapons: A CB sword given to her by Hades to accomplish her tasks when she worked under him as his errand girl.
