Personality: Rafael is a pretty lax, carefree guy. Many things distrub or seem strange to him in the new country of America, but it doesn't bother him and he just lives his life. He is willing to do anything to have a good time. He is the kind of guy you wanna have a drink with.
History: Natália Rameriz was a rich Brazilian woman. She established her own technology empire in Brazil and quickly became one of the richest woman in Brazil. Natália's wealth and plethora of power suits is probably what attracted the Greek God Notus. After dating for a few months Natália was pregnant. Almost immediately after learning Natália was pregnant, Notus left. Natália managed to get on fine without him and married a Brazilian technology teacher, Juan Cabrera. The pair would eventually have their own kid, Anita.
Rafael left a very easy simple life in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He was sent to a very hard, rigorous private school, but he had inherited his mother's brain and was able to pass his classes with little work. He lived a very privileged life with many butlers catering to his every need. Throughout most of his life he faced no obstacles and his life was easy. When he was 15 he mother applied him to a six-month foreign exchange program with an American student. His great grades and his mother's position made him a shoe-in canditate. He moved into a small American family in Rome, New York, and attended a small private school. Rafael had a pretty hard time adjusting to his new life. His English was very weak, and he found a few American customs very strange. Eventually he was able to adapt to his new life. He made new friends, attended sports game, he was regular high-school teen. One day he was outside shooting some hoops in his front-yards when two large kids from his school approached him. No one was at his house and the two gargantuan asked if they could play basketball. Rafael plainly responded they could, and a devilish grin appeared on the two boys faces. The two boys proceeded to physically beat Rafael fiercely. Rafael tried to fight back but was overpowered by the two boys, and he sooned blacked out. He woke up tied to a stake over a fire. Rafael panicked and wondered where the two large boys were, but they were both gone and the vacant house he was in was completely quiet. Rafael waited for about twenty minutes when he heard the door open. He expected to see the two giant kids, but it turned his friend crippled friend, Randy. He quickly united Rafael and the two left. Once Randy was sure Rafael he explained to him that he was a demigod and had been attacked by two cyclopes, and had those two cyclopses not eaten a large meal earlier he would have been food. He also told him that he could come to Camp Half-Blood and train. The tramuatic expirence with the Cyclopes scared Rafael, and he decided that being safe at Camp Half-Blood would be the best thing for him. He emailed his parents and told him his exchange program had been extended for a year, and quietly Randy and Rafael left Rome and ventured to Long Island. After a few days they made it and Rafael was finally safe.

Well he is a demigod and cyclopes generally don't wanna eat demigods, so I think they would want to eat him. It happened to Luke and Thalia when they were captured by a cyclops, the cyclops waited to eat them |- Legend of Zelda, more like Legend of Link 21:23, March 23, 2012 (UTC)
