Selena sports a curvy build despite her age as she reached Adulthood early in her life like most girls, from her early years camping/hiking/star-gazing with her father she has built a semi-muscular build. Weighing in at about 8st 7 and standing at 5ft 2, she has outstanding centre balance and won't hesitate to knock you off yours. She typically wears comfy clothing and anything easy to move in. Selena has blue eyes with subtle hints of green around the iris , accopmanied with long natural black lashes as well as combed and plucked eyebrows in a thick but suiting and slightly arched shape. She has deep brown locks from her father which can appear to be black at certain times for it is that dark. Her hair has a slightly curled and voluminous look with a deep side left parting so it flicks to her right. With baby pink thick lips. Ms. Denti has a noticeable scar on her right shoulder which stretches down to her waist, it's red and it fresh from where she was hit by the Dracanae that was after her, it still hurts. A lot. Selena also has her belly button pierced with a Sagittarius sign as it's her star sign, her Birthday is November 29.
Personality: Selena is fun and outgoing and never backs away from a challenge! She's really friendly and has great people skills although she doesn't like people if she thinks you're a right pain in the...anyway. She's sarcastic and likes to be mischevious and most of the time prefers male company over female...depending on the situation anyway. Selena also likes to push herself to crazy limits and will do anything to help a friend, she enjoys singing as well.. Selena through her father, has a passion for stargazing and will often be up late looking for all different types of constellations or just relaxing under the night sky.
Despite being protective and caring of her friends, she doesn't like showing pain or if she's upset, she smiles through it all because she feels like she has to be the strong one. She's confident and daring and won't hesitate to put you in your spot if need be. Oh did I mention she always has witty comebacks and sarcasm galore?
History: Selena's parents met when her father was still in the Army, he was the Commander of a group of Soldiers in the British Army who ran Night Raids and a variety of attacks under the night sky, when he was on a break he met the woman who would give him Selena and retired completely.
He had been watched by Nyx for weeks, she had appreciated his dedication and commitment to his vigorous timetable he had to stick by. He slept during the day only and had even changed his meal times, work outs and whole lifestyle in order to work perfectly in the Night. Mitchell enjoyed looking at the stars when he did have the time and often helped nocturnal creatures in his spare time who needed him when the RSPCA or any animal service could not reach them. He was kind, gentle, loving but did what needed to be done without hesitation. When he was off work, Mitchell was busy scouring the forests for a bat that had apparently fallen from a tree become entangled in vine and shrubbery and had broken it's wings, when he approached he saw nothing but a woman, doing his job. He questioned her, why where you here? What's wrong? She smiled back and answered and before he knew it, he fell in love, he met with her, walked along the beaches, freed animals and before long she told the truth. Her father learnt to acccept things in the world and it wasn't long before he had Selena in his arms. The meeting of her parents was sweet and quiet, he had attracted Nyx and Nyx had done the same. However Selena never heard the full story, he didn't like to talk about it.
Her father, after his Army days, often spent his time in the wild, camping, hunting and looking up at the stars till late into the Night and even into the rising Sun which he shared with and taught Selena also since a young age.
Selena was a good child, always happy and smiling, she enjoyed her father's company all the time and loved doing everything she could with him, Mitchell sheltered her always kept her moving knowing about the monsters that existed, he made her climb mountains, drive to countrysides and forests to spread her scent, but Selena was oblivious and just loved to be adventurous and with her father. Her father knew about these monsters as he had the gift of sight, he was born with it, as well as the explanation of Nyx's world taught him what goes bump in the night and the day, lead him to make precautions for when the time was right. Mitchell taught her about all the different stars in the sky and she took up her father's passion for the night time. Selena had learnt the constellations and could name them in an instant! She struggled with School a lot because she always stayed up way past her bedtime. Early mornings were hard. But she much preferred the calmness of the Night, just sitting and thinking, it always made her feel safe and peaceful.
School was ok for her, she achieved A's and B's and had a small group of friends that were always with her, she developed pretty good social skills and learnt to smile and just get on with it and always made sure not to hinder her friends performances because of her feelings or struggles.
Being daddy's little girl he felt worried that when he was gone, who would protect her if she can't protect herself? And proceeded to teach Selena self-defense, just enough to make himself sure of her wellbeing. He also, as he had the gift of sight, came in contact with some Satyrs, who would help Selena cross to America and reach Camp Half-Blood they had told him about.
Selena had a great relationship as you can see with her father and didn't care much for finding out about her mother, she was happy...but as Eris would say...chaos...glorious chaos.
The night Selena was on the roof of her little bungalow, looking into the night and across the fields around her it was supposedly peaceful. Mitchell was sleeping and had been woken up by strange sounds like a burglar, turns out it was two dracanae woman, her father scrambled to find his little girl, said be safe gave her two rings, a ticket for a plane, money in dollars and pounds and a bag full of spare clothes an everything she needed, Mitchell had told Selena who she was and who her mother was, and she was confused, he coddled her for months than he should have after her 13th Birthday. Selena was still confused even after what her father told her, she became quiet trying to figure it all out. Nevertheless she ran like her father told her. Just as she turned to look at him, he was being attacked front and behind by both of the women, he had no chance against their Supernatural Abilities, he was in the way of the prey, Selena, and the dracanae killed him because of it.
So Selena ran, grabbed a taxi to the airport, where she met a Satyr a man who explained everything to her in detail and had been waiting for her, he looked after her and vouched for the girl as they travelled alongside to America. She had all her trust in him. Selena was on her way to Camp Half-Blood, when she was caught by the dracanae women and suffered a terrible hit on her back, she got out of it alive because somewhere an arrow had appeared. It was a group of Satyrs and Dryads who were defending her so she could run with the Satyr who was looking after her. He delievered her to Camp Half-Blood and had dedicated his life to protecting her through her travels, she came to know him as Travis. Selena had entered the Camp and had everything explained to her about it, after the day was gone and night appeared, she was sitting round the campfire on her first night and was claimed. A Child of Nyx.
Possessions/Weapons: 2 rings on her right pinky finger by her dad, one had his name the other has hers.

Hi and hello! I'll be your claim checker for today, so let's go fix stuff!
- How did Mitchell know about Camp and other stuff connected to it?
- Does he have the Sight? Please state so. (Also, monsters won't mind mortals unless they're getting in the way of having their prey.)
- A little girl like Selene, 12 or 13 years old, cannot just hop in a plane to a country far away and just navigate around easily. Basing on reality, kids her age aren't really allowed on airports unless they have a guardian, or if ever they are allowed, it wouldn't be so easy for them. Plus, New York is a jungle of buildings and it's pretty hard to navigate around. In short, it's pretty unbelievable. (Anyway, it's your story and you can change it based on reality.)
- What were the groups of animals and spirits that attacked the dracanae? Yoru character may not know what they were, but you as the creator knows what it was and it's better to state it in the history.
