It was summer that time, around the month of May, hot days in Manhattan and the perfect days for a beach vacation. Gigi Lewis, an attractive lady with sandy brown hair and a perfect sun-kissed skin spent her summer vacation in the beach. Some of her favorite things to do is to play beach volleyball and sunbathing. One day, she has decided to expose her perfect sun-kissed skin and go sunbathing alone. She placed a blanket on the sand and began putting on some lotion. She was about to lie down and enjoy the sun when a shadow appeared behind her and a man's voice said "You missed a spot". Gigi replied immediately with a "What?" and turned around to face the stranger she was talking to. She removed her sunglasses to have a better glance at the handsome man, blonde, and with a perfect tan. "I said you missed a spot." The man went to her side and began to put some lotion at an area of Gigi's legs. "Excuse me, but by any chance, have I met you before?" asked Gigi. "I believe not, if I have ever met you before, you and I should be a couple by now." Whoever this guy was, he's got some skills, Gigi thought. "I'm Harold by the way" he offered his hand to the maiden. "Nice name. I'm Gigi" he shook his hand.
Gigi and Harold began to hang out together; doing both of their favorite things to do. They often played beach volleyball, eat some pizza, go sunbathing, and their most favorite, watching the sun set. They of course began to develop feelings for each other and were together for the whole summer. One night, both of them had a pretty rough time on a beach party and made out. After the night, Harold vanished and left Gigi heartbroken. In a couple of weeks, Gigi began to fell something different. Often times she would feel dizzy and would vomit. She took a pregnancy test and was in fact pregnant though sad that she is not able to tell Harold. One day, a note was left to Gigi's table. She opened it and began to read.
Dear Gigi,
My apologies that I had to disappear from you forever. It is time you know the truth that I am a god. One of the twelve greek olympian gods. My real name is Apollo, god of many things. I have been watching you ever since I left and I am happy that we are having a child. Unfortunately, gods can't stay with mortals and I can't raise him. He is powerful and monster will come to get him. Inside the envelope together with this note is a coin. Once flipped, it will turn into a powerful weapon to help our child be safe from monsters. And don't worry, once it's in his possession, he cannot lost it. It will always some back to his pocket. When the time comes, he shall go to a camp for demigods, a satyr shall lead him and take him there to safety. I love you Gigi. I will always be watching.

His Childhood[]
Gigi lived in Manhattan, New York City and raised Sunny there. When Sunny was born, he looked almost exactly like his mom. He has big brown eyes, fair complexion, and a bit skinny. Another thing was that his hair color seems to layered from a dark shade of brown getting duller to the top layer. Because of this, his hair apears blonde (because the topmost layer is more visible) and duller when exposed to sunlight. Whenever this happen, Others call at "sun-kissed", however Sunny refers to it as "somehow damaged by the sun" because he never liked how it is, and believes that his hair is originaly brown like his mom's. Sunny was a quick thinker and finds most things amusing. He always sees the "bright side" of everything. His personality often makes him extremely annoying as he would sometimes make jokes on the wrong time, he talks really fast, as is fascinated by most things. He loves his mom very much, though he would often wonder about his dad.
Gigi enrolled Sunny to a nearby school. There, Sunny met tons of friends due to his sunny personality. He excels in music and arts. He was part of their neighborhood squad; the kind who would do fun stuff and go skateboarding every after school. He too has a sense of humor which is one of the reasons why some girls in his school find him attractive, added by his taste in music, but Sunny is oblivious to this. He just likes to impress people. He have been doing well in school until he reached 10 years old. That time, He was diagnosed with ADHD and Dyslexia, like most demigods. They found that out when Sunny complained about how he cannot behave himself for so long and Gigi took him to the doctor, worried. Because of this, he somehow became a trouble maker as to suddenly stand up in the middle of the class and walk around as he couldn't help himself.
At the age of thirteen, he was enrolled to high school together with his friends. In his new school, he befriended Darwin, a strange troublemaker who nobody seemed to like. He became best friends with him because he seems to be the only one who understands his ADHD and dyslexia conditions.
His first monster attack and Arrival to Camp[]
>When he was about thirteen and a half, his scent also became more stronger for monsters to track. In fact, it was that very year when he had his first monster attack. This happened when he was almost fourteen. He and his best friend Darwin were sitting alone in the classroom, waiting for the teacher to arrive for detention for being seen talking while the class is going on. Then suddenly, Darwin felt something was wrong (he could sense a monster is nearby) and told Sunny to stay by his side the whole time. Darwin was right. That time, a hellhound had somehow managed to attack their school. They don't know what the mortals saw because of the mist, but both Sunny and Darwin saw the horrible creature. Sunny was freeking out. Darwin managed to strip off his pants, revealing his goat legs. Darwin was a satyr. "Hold this" Darwin told Sunny as he gave him a shiny penny. Both of them ran to escape but the hellhound was enough to meet them both at the field. Darwin let out his celestial bronze dagger and fought the hellhound (this was from the training Darwin spent as a protector from CHB). He slashed, dodged, but He was hopeless, both of them knew he was just barely holding the monster off. It didn't take some time for the monster to knock off Darwin, sending Darwin flying towards Sunny who was standing at a distance. "The penny, flip it" Darwin told Sunny while he was catching his breath. The monster made its way towards them, but the time was enough for Sunny to flip the penny that then turned into a celestial bronze sword as he caught it. The hellhound was fast approaching and Darwin and Sunny readied their weapons. Apparently, Sunny have no idea what he was supposed to do, so he did what his instincts told him to do-- the cool thing. He slashed and slashed at the monster, and so did Darwin, leaving some wounds, and with a lucky stab, the hellhound disintegrated to golden dust.
They hurried back home and told Gigi what happened. Gigi shed some tears and then explained to Sunny about his dad. She explained how he is a son of Apollo and he needs to go to camp immediately. Gigi helped him pack their things and finally shared their farewell time together. Darwin and Sunny took a cab to Camp Half-Blood. Darwin explained how he and Gigi have shared some conversations, that Gigi knew he was his protector, and that they already know what was gonna happen and so Gigi gave him the magic penny weapon that Apollo gave her to later give to their son. They arrived to camp safely and Sunny was claimed by his dad Apollo.
Weapons: After a week at camp, Sunny was discovered to be a good archer and acquired a bow and a quiver to be filled with celestial bronze arrows. He also kept the magical penny that could transform to a celestial bronze sword and could never get lost.

Hi! I'll be your claimer for today! I have to admit that this claim is really very good. You got the story so good 'til the end. But I have one question: How can Darwin fight a hellhound with only just a dagger? He could have been hurt by the second, even before he gave Sunny the sword. Hellhounds are pretty brainy creatures. And we really need to be specific.
Anyways, this claim's so good and probably ready.
If you were to write a story with me in the lead role, it'd certainly be . . . a tragedy.
Thank you for the comment. I changed it though. Both of them had time to run but ended up with the hellhound in the field. Darwin, with some training he did as a protector on CHB, fought the monster but was only holding it off as it was way to strong for him to handle. As the monster sent him flying to Sunny's direction (Sunny was watching the fight in a distance cause he had no idea what to do), Darwin told him to activate his weapon and he was able to do this just in time as the monster charged on their way. With their weapons ready, both of them fought the hellhound, Sunny just copying Darwin, slashing the hellhound and living wounds and with a lucky stab, the monster disintegrated to dust.

Hi Azkaban, please can you just change a couple of things that Summer missed, before this claim is ready :)
- Please can you add a few more details on his earlier childhood? Just how he was brought up, how he was schooled etc. A couple more sentences would just really help flesh Sunshine out a little bit more
- Apollo can NOT directly change the colour of Sunshine's hair, or make it appear blond in the sunlight. This would be probably classed as direct interference, and probably be extremely impractical, as his hair would seemingly change colour (this would freak out a couple of clear-eyed mortals.)
- I assume he's from New York, and that's why he was able to take a cab towards the outskirts of camp.
- New Campers are claimed on arrival. Sunshine would not stay at the Hermes Cabin for any length of time. He would be claimed by Apollo on arriving at the camp borders.
- Please explicitly state that his weapons are Celestial Bronze; as this is the standard for the wiki.

Thank you for the comments and suggestions. So here's what I did
- I added details about his schooling, his friends, and how he befriended Darwin
- I delete the parts where I mentioned Apollo made his hair blond. Instead, I stated that his hair color was layered from a dark shade from the bottom to a duller shade to the top. Though I stated that his hair looked duller and somehow blonde when exposed to sunlight but this is just natural. I learned that the UV radiation that the sun sends out work to have a bleaching type of effect on peoples' hairs.
- I mentioned that they lived in New York to clarify.
- I also deleted that last part and stated that he was claimed upon arrival and stated that his weapons are Celestial Bronze.

Hi there. This claim looks good to go, except for one thing.
How long has he been at camp? You said "some time." The maximum amount of time a character can have been at camp is 2 weeks prior to the claim being claimed. Just to clarify :3 Sorry for nitpicking.
