Name: Trey Jackson
God Parent: Zeus, Poseidon, Apollo
Mortal Parent: Amanda Jackson
Current Age: 12
Personality: Trey has an outgoing, joker, arrogant, stubborn image. His fatal flaw is his stubbornness. When in a battle, however, he becomes very serious and focused, he will also have a longing to fight back no matter what.
Amanda was a 27 year old beautiful demigod, a daughter of Hecate. She was working on a new style when she caught Zeus’s attention. Zeus and Amanda talked a lot for a few days. They then started dating for nine months. Amanda fell deeply in love almost instantaneously with Zeus, and they went on several dates together. Not wanting to break his own rules, Zeus soon went back to Olympus and stopped talking to Amanda. What he didn’t know was that Amanda was pregnant with a child. He watched over Amanda carefully when he noticed a bump forming. He paled a little knowing that a child was being born, but not just any child, HIS child.
A few months later, Amanda gave birth to Trey, by then she had already moved on and married a handsome man named Henry. Being a rather skilled child of Hecate, Amanda cast a protective border around the house they were living in. It was weak, but strong enough to last for awhile. She also home-schooled Trey for a while. She would teach him about the Greek gods and goddesses and all of the myths. She would tell him the tales of the great Percy Jackson(No relation to them) and wars of the Giants and Titans. She taught him how to translate the stories from the pottery and antiques that she kept in the basement. When he was 10, Amanda decided to try a private school called East Academy for boys. It worked for about two thirds way through the school year, but a harpy attacked and Amanda immediately removed Trey from the school and went back to homeschooling him, but it was a lost cause.
The border finally collapsed and monsters would come monthly, weekly, and even sometimes daily. For example, one time Trey was playing in the backyard when four hellhounds surrounded him. Amanda came home from work to find her son up on the roof of the house while the hellhounds were climbing up to attack him. Amanda grabbed her bow and arrows that were hanging in the closet and shot the four of them.
Henry was freaked out about the attacks as well, but Amanda also explained it to him. After much explaining, he thought it was cool to have a son who was a son of a god and didn't quite mind the attacks, despite them being dangerous. He had been studying Greek artifacts and all that, so it was cool that he had something that related to it.
Amanda showed him simple moves to protect himself from the monsters, she showed also showed him how to control his powers.
Attacks like that occurred daily, sometimes even twice in a day. For example when he was 11, he was attacked by a harpy when he was in the yard. By then, Amanda given Trey a bronze sword, which later he would find out it was Stormbringer, for his defense in case of emergencies. Trey used the moves that his mom taught him to defend himself. That was the first successful monster kill on his own without anyone's help.
Amanda learned there was a satyr next door who was sent by Alexander. When Trey was 12, he was attacked multiple times by empousi and harpies, and even occasionally laistrygonians. Attack after attack after attack. Amanda wanted to do everything to protect her son, but was still reluctant to send Trey away because she was afraid of not being able to see him again, which was stupid, but she was still worried for her son and had a feeling that he wouldn't be able to come home after the summer. Finally it got so bad that Amanda decided that it would be better for him to be safe than to be in danger even if she never got to see him again, so she drove him to camp with. The satyr led Trey to Camp Half-Blood. Before Zeus had left Amanda, however, he had given her an item that he had Hephaestus make in his forges for her. It was a bronze sword, but mortals saw it as a gold ring. It was called Stormbringer.
Back to the when he was getting to camp, he was ran while thinking about getting something, all he was thinking about was getting something to fight these monsters. That’s when Stormbringer turned into a sword. Stopping at the top of the hill, he told his satyr to go get help from the barn house while he held the monsters off. The satyr told him to get into the borders, but Trey, feeling like he had to prove himself, insisted in staying, since he was stubborn and determined, he refused to leave. The satyr gave up after several attempts to get him inside and stayed with him to make sure he was safe. The satyr played music with his pipes as Trey’s battle instincts kicked in, and he slashed the monsters one by one with his sword. Without even knowing how, he blast a small spark at the monsters. It was a minor one, but still a little effective. Trey was thrown back against a big pine tree when a laistrygonian hit him. Trey fell to the ground as he groaned from the pain and started seeing spots. Determined, Trey kept on fighting off the monsters. Apparently the battle was heard by other campers because suddenly a horn sounded from behind him. A ton of arrows were shot in the air killing most of the monsters. Trey collapsed to the floor, the last thing he remembered before he blacked out was a man approaching him.
Note: Trey also stays year round because his scent is too strong.
I suggest adding ages within the history so people can get a better understanding.
Why would the Satyr leave Trey alone? Unless he was new, I hardly think that the Satyr would make such a rash decision. Can you emphasize on the attacks when he was at home? Considering he's a son of Zeus and his mother was a daughter of Hecate, I think they'd come up more than weekly, especially since he was 10+
Why didn't she just send him to camp? So many monsters were attacking and she'd already what would happened with him, since she's a demigod herself; so why make such a fuss?
Do you still intend to work on this? If no edits have been made by 1 Decembe 2013 it will be subject for deletion due to inactivity... Also, there's no way that model you're using is even close to 12 years old, he looks much older.
the model still looks older than 12.01:38, November 30, 2013 (UTC)
Did Amanda know Trey was a demigod? because if she didn't she wouldn't have put the protective shield thing on the house.
i figure trey would've been killed by the giants way sooner, ya know no training and all
What was stopping the hellhounds from just climbing it? I mean the have claws that could easily be dug into the tree >.< plus, he must have been pretty high up in the tree since hellhounds are tall-ish.
Was he attacked between the ages 10 and 12?
Well, that isn't really stated in the history.
There are several things that I am obliged to point out. Let us start with the first. While it is minor, it is still necessary. Can you please add a little more information on how their parents met? For instance, perhaps you could add in for how long they dated and how fast they fell in love. What you've written is fine, but just the slightest amount vague. Also, assuming the parent was human, they would in no way have the powers or means to erect a barrier. However, if this is a misunderstanding on my part, please elaborate in the history what you mean by 'barrier'. Another issue that I've detected is the usage of powers. While children of the Big Three are able to discover powers, they have in no way, even with the mentorship of someone experienced, developed their powers fully. Therefore Trey cannot possibly have mastered his powers, even with help. Nextly, it is unrealistic that Trey, at that age (despite any training Amanda had given) would be able to fend off an aerial (and nimble) creature such as a harpy with simply a knife. A knife has a very narrow attack range and it is very hard to precisely and quickly kill the harpy. Finally, it is quite unrealistic that a nine year old (even one with potential in powers and some informal training in skill) would be able to fend off hordes of monsters. Thank you for writing this claim and I hope that you use the advice I have given to better your claim so that you will be accepted. Thank you for your time and I hope to see you roleplay soon. ~Moodle, Yours to command (Sig WIP).
How did Henry react to all these attacks? Next, if Amanda knew about Camp, why didn't she take her child there herself? Also, why would she fear not seeing Trey again if she knew that campers could stay only for the summer? Also, in the second to the last paragraph, could you fix it up a bit so it doesn't jump from him being 12 to being 11 again? Why did he choose to fight when all he had to do was cross the borders and he'd be safe? Then, just for some confirmation, he arrived at Camp when he was 12, yes?
Just to add, you need to say what the weapon is, the name of the weapon is entirely unimportant
Yes he was 12.
Couldn't she set up another talisman for the border? Also, what happened in his first attack from the boarding school?
Hello, I was wondering if I could just scrap this claim and start over with a different character. Now that I've sort of gotten the idea of how this works, I've come up with a different idea, and i'd rather just start over than continue with this one. Thank you. O: Why start over? You're almost there! Just elaborate on his early childhood part because you skipped to when he was already 10 years old.
I don't know. I just don't have anything right now for what I could put it in between the ages for his childhood yet. Could I keep this on hold? Start a new one and then come back to this one later once I have an idea?
I'm really sorry but you can't make another claim while this one is on hold. Do you still want to put it on hold?
Ok, first off, really sorry no one checked this claim sooner (silly me for thinking with 15 other rbs/admins/crats and like 9 or 10 official claim helpers, that this kinda thing wouldn't happen >.<), secondly, congrats it's claimed
