4. For her fifteenth birthday, Notus gave Diara an Egyptian mau when she got to camp.

It doesn't really make sense for someone to own a full grown tiger, seeing as how it is a wild animal and could maul you at any point. Also if it escaped from the zoo the police would have been after it and probably stopped it. Also if it was about to attack a human. it probably would be okay with attacking her too, seeing as how it is a wild animal.Bctcz 00:24, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

It's very unlikely that the tiger wouldn't maul her or attack her in a fit of rage. Tigers are wild animals, after all. A cat would be more reasonable. Embrace your inner lunatic (Fun times guaranteed) 06:18, January 24, 2012 (UTC)
While a tiger cub would be at most an entertaining nuisance, a full grown tiger could be potentially lethal to mortals and immortals alike. Doesn't seem like a good pet to have at camp. Windsword7Let the magic begin

Why did Notus give her a tiger? Why not a simple cat or some non-dangerous animal? And it doesn't matter if it's enchanted, it's still dangerous. Embrace your inner lunatic (Fun times guaranteed) 01:02, January 26, 2012 (UTC)

Why would a cat be able to create mist and levitate? Powers need to be limited and realistic to the type of animal. The pet is ultimately just something listed on the character's page with a photo, perhaps told about in stories, but never role played and never used in any significant way in role plays.
