- Why does the character have this pet: Hugo had been wandering the forest one day when suddenly a raven came towards him. Although he was dubious at first, it was apparently obdient, and landed on his shoulder without hesitancy. Surprised, he was about to shake the bird off when he noticed a piece of paper attatched to it's leg. The corvid, who Hugo decided to name Claudius, plucked the note out of it's binding and untied the string as well. This prompted Hugo to take the small memo from his new companion. As it turned out, Claudius was a gift from Hades. He had noticed he seemed a bit lonely still, even with his new home, so he decided to send him an animal of his son's preference to accompany him as a pet. Hugo shrugged once he was finished reading, but accepted his pristine friend.
- Any special abilities: Like all birds of it's species, Claudius is an intelligent animal. He can also serve the purpose of a carrier, in a similar fashion like when he was first sent to his master. Other than that, he's a rather regular raven.
- If the pet is larger than a horse or a pegasus, the animal can not be kept at or around camp, so you need to explain where this pet is kept when you are living at camp. Also, if the animal is normally dangerous in nature, such as poisonous snakes or more wild animals such as tigers, etc. If they stay in the cabin what precautions are taken if any, etc.: Claudius will be kept with Hugo in Hades' Cabin.
