Who is sending them on the quest
Athena went to sleep one night, leaving Aegis on a table. The Amicoids snuck through Olympus, taking the form of all kinds of gods to get past everyone. They got in to Athena's room, and took the Aegis to the Gorgons, who paid them well for it.
The gorgons took the Aegis to Mount Vancouver, to try and use the head to regenerate Medusa.
The journey will be to Mount Vancouver, which straddles the US-Canadian border in Alaska.
After battling the Amicoids, which had taken the shape of Poseidon, the three set off to find the REAL offender.
They found the Gorgons who were attempting to regenerate Medusa using her head. They fought, with one sneaking past the fight, to grab the Aegis. The gorgons realised too late what had happened, and were killed.
Harpies - at a gas station
Chimera - on the road
Amicoids - At Mount Vancouver
Gorgons - End Game
They spend most of their time on the road, but the places they do visit are:
Gas station -,they need to fill up the gas in the car
Lotus Casino - their car blows up, in the desert, and they see a hotel. One of them stays outside, while the other two go in, seeking aid. After an hour, the one outside gets suspicious and peeks inside, sees them playing video games, and dragged them out.
Mount Vancouver - end game
No End Game
I will first say, you can hardley make a quest like this out of the information in the dream 1. It gives no direction 2. It is based on "I suspect Poseidon" meaning it literally could just be anyone (which it pretty much was) 3. Athena is the goddess of wisdom, she would most likely give you too much information rather than too little, even with something that happened in her sleep.
How will the campers even know where to start? They would most likely head to sea with this informtion, the complete opposite of their actual destination...
Also: The End Game section is for things like rewards, any surprise outcomes, or things like that. Not for the final fight, which would just be part of the plot not the end game. So I would just move that to the quest summery, and put No End Game, or something else in the End Game section.
Oye :/ I would just take out the part where she thinks it is Poseidon... I can't see Athena involving demigods in a Godly dispute. (even though it really isn't one) I would just say that Athena's Aegis is stolen, and she saw it last at "such and such". Cause... again, if she expects that Poseidon took it, how would she think that mere demigods could get it back from him?
Reasons: 1. Athena would not have let the Aegis get stolen, as it is a prized shield with the ability to turn things to stone. It wouldn't be laying on a counter or something. Think of the best way to hide/guard it, and then Athena can do 10x better.
2. You'd need more than just 3 demigods to kill ALL the gorgon sisters who are equipped with the Aegis. One gorgon would take about 3 demigods 3v1 to kill.
3. Heavy god-modding on the plot. You can't say things like:
"One of them stays outside, while the other two go in, seeking aid. After an hour, the one outside gets suspicious and peeks inside, sees them playing video games, and dragged them out."
This is god-modding, meaning you are dictating the actions of another player's character.
4. The Aegis wouldn't be able to revive Medusa. It's a shield now, not her head...
Sorry, but this would not only be unreasonable, but sending 3 demigods to their deaths...
