The following message took place during a dream:

Dear Kyle Jäger and Connor Douglas,

, I found out only a day ago that one of my special artifacts, the Chest of Famine, has had a visit from a potential thief. Now, I’m not an idiot; I installed a defense mechanism so if anyone got their hands on it they wouldn’t just be able to manipulate it. The Chest broke into seven pieces, in all seven different continents. I have chosen you (with a little input from the other gods) to recover my Chest. You will be amply rewarded, but I must warn you that the magic of the Chest will attract many beasts to the locations you visit.

-Limos

Questers: Kyle Jäger, Connor Douglas · Leaders

Andrew Drake, Yelena Ivy Kovalsky & Tracey Covington · Other Questers

God Parent: Limos

Overview: Limos has lost an artifact, the Chest of Famine (a container for starvation) and she wants it back, as if it fell in the wrong hands, it could potentially bring famine to a large amount of the world. Limos, determined to get it back, asks the Olympians permission to organize the quest. Kyle comes up as a candidate to lead it and Aphrodite interjects and asks Connor to go with them. The reason is revealed later on in the Quest. Zeus accepts the fact that Connor will be in the Quest, but only with the condition of him being co-leader. The deal with getting Limos’ artifact is that she can sense it is in several pieces, and the questers must collect each one in order to have the full artifact. Once all pieces are fit together, it would then become the Chest of Famine again. Knowing this, Connor proposes Andrew as another candidate, since he is able to teleport long distances, and Kyle offers Yelena and Scarlett for their fighting ability and powers.

Locations: Yosemite Park, North America Savannah near Cape Town, Africa Balinese Coastline, Asia Machu Picchu, South America Point Venus, Oceania Norwegian Claim, Antartica Ribeira Sacra, Europe

Monsters: Lycanthropes (North America) Keres (Africa) Sirens (Asia) Amicoid (South America) Sea Serpent (Oceania) Hyperborean Giant (Antartica) Erymanthian Boar (Europe)

End Game: Upon gathering all the pieces of the artifact, Limos appears before the questers. She thanks them all for their work and bestows upon them each an enchanted piece of food (to make it more personalized to each demigod? So maybe like give one an apple, another a protein bar, etc.) that always regenerates so they will never starve. Then she clicks her fingers and returns them to camp, telling them that she will investigate who stole her artifact.

Prophecy:

A child of hunger, another of lightning,
they shall be sent to retrieve something frightening.
The Chest of Famine that holds all the power,
to hunger, starvation, and urge to devour.

Seven cont’nents, five godlings and only one goal,
the Questers must thrive or else their heads shall roll,
Collect all the pieces for Mrs. Starvation,
And receive in return life’s starting foundation.

Heyooo lets start

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the max 5 people on a quest rule still applies correct? If it does please adjust .. (unless you get special permission...)
  • "So maybe like give one an apple, another a protein bar, etc.) that always regenerates so they will never starve." elaborate please.. cause I'm currently imagining this old child story about the pot that kept on making rice (yes its an old children tale...(I'm old hush))
  • In all honesty I have no other problem other than these two still nice seeing a prophecy on a claim.. been a while

Hello! Co-quest owner here!

- We only have five people on the quest so that should be all good.

- Your rice pot analogy seems to fit tbh! Basically, the food item will be enchanted so that whatever was just bitten off will instantly regrow, therefore stopping starvation.

I hope that clarifies. If not, we'd love to go into more detail!

oh wow I didnt sign? silly me anyhow rice pot analogy .... ok... sounds fitting but umm one minor detail... where is it getting its power? Cause the pot in the story was enchanted and it gave them food each time they asked but when they overdone it the pot STOPPED producing rice so you still want to use the same analogy?

Maybe not quite the same analogy then aha. The way we saw it was that Limos had basically given it infinite uses since she's basically the goddess of hunger. If it seems OP we can always put a limit on it?

Hmmmm how about this? a lunchbox (with a design preferred by the questors) that each time you put ONE food in another type of food would come out (but it has the same health benefits or maybe nutrients as the first one? or maybe less maybe more? maybe its their fav food? idk) but the food have some at least a tiny bit power up that can help the demigod fight? You guys can say it was given BEFORE the quest just so that the demigods have some power up and then afterwards it got a bit downgraded ? maybe? ...yeah I'm making no sense but yes the "infinite" food thing is a bit weird >.< sorry

Hmmm.... Maybe we could say that the food regenerates after some time? Like, say, the apple, you can eat it and you can't eat it again right again, but you have to wait a certain amount of time, like, say, 4 hours until you can eat it again?
