Scott: He tries to make conversation, to serve as a distraction for what might possibly be his attack. "So, I assume you were just teleported here too, ay? The gods are good, but it can get bloody annoying when they drag you into this sort of rubbish, right lad?" Scott lightly stabs his sword into the ground, showing no signs of attacking. "I mean, I'm no man to join the Broken Covenant or anything, but I do have to say, I feel like some sort of godly errand boy, you know?" Scott lightly chuckles, his passive actions hopefully making a good distraction for his opponent. "I mean, you know, it just seems like-" Scott instantly stops talking and quickly throws a fireball about the size of a golfball directly at Adam. While his fire hopefully burns his enemy, Scott lifts up his sword and raises his targe in a defensive position, ready for whatever Adam might counter-attack with.
Adam': He saw it coming, it was an obvious tactic so he easily stepped aside when the fireball flew at him, after the ball of flames burnt out, Adam tilted his head at his opponent. Good move, I suppose' he shrugged lightly and suddenly he created a small fissure in the ground, directly beneath Scott and quickly slashed at Scott's neck whilst summoning an undead warrior to attack from behind, the fissure was about foot to each length of Scott, one foot infront, one foot to the right etc but Adam's sword was long enough to reach him, and the undeads weapon could also reach Scott easily.
Scott: He quickly lifts his targe to defend himself from the neck slash, however, the sword does make the wooden face on his targe a bit weaker. The fissure makes Scott slip, but he is luckly able to regain his footing and stay on the ground. Luckly Scott is fire-resistant and not affected by the flames spewing from the fissure either. Scott, not yet noticing the undead warrior behind him, decides to attack Adam using his Scottish-style claymore. Scott summons a bit of heat from both of his hands, and heats up the metal blade of his sword so that whatever it strikes will get some pretty terrible burns. He then makes a right-to-left cleave with his blade, aiming at Adam's legs so that his opponent won't be able to run if he were to attempt and retreat from the fight.
Adam: He jumped back but his legs were slighty scratched but wasn't enough to really hurt him and blended into the shadows and travelled somewhereand hid behind a bush or something that he can hide behind and he breathed hard, he had gotten tired by the summoning but as he watched the undead copying the exact sword movements with its own, Scott had just did to Adam onto Adam's back, Adam could tell Scott hadn't detected the undead yet. So he took out some ambrosia and nibbled on it, feeling his strength return but he made sure he didn't eat it all, as he didn't want to burn up and also he didn't want to eat all of it at once.
Scott: While unsure of where Adam went, Scott decides to look around and see where he could've possibly vanished to. When he turns completely around, he notices the undead warrior that's been behind him all along. Knowing his undead enemy's skin is most likely dry and withered, he throws a small fireball around the size of a ping-pong ball, for it should most likely completely ignite the undead's dry body. If his plan were to somehow fail, Scott also runs right after he throws the fire, in search of trying to find Adam. Deciding his enemy is nowhere to be found, Scott runs to some stone steps leading to the fire and lava below the lush green islands, and carefully begins to make his way down them.
Adam: 'Noticing how his opponent had gone down the stone steps he limped over to the edge, though making sure Scott couldn't see him he watched Scott descend. He knew he couldn't stand a chance with Scott in his natural territory, and he was in no shape to dodge all the fireballs Scott would throw at him. He wasn't exactly sure what to do at that moment, so he called out 'Running away, are you?' he wasn't exactly sure what he was doing, but he knew he can't have Scott go somewhere where Adam would lose. So maybe, Adam thought, he could taunt Scott up here. It was his best option. 'How about that, I'm versing a coward. A coward who hides behind walls of flames. Are you scared versing me sword to sword?'
Scott: The taunting makes Scott turn back, and go to the top of the stairs, but not all the way towards Adam. "I'm not scared of anything, lad! It looks like you're just a little... how do we say... pyrophobic?" Scott creates a smoke screen, and makes the thick cloud swiftly float towards Adam. Then, he quickly throws another fireball, this one having a similar diameter to that of a basketball. Scott, then hurries back down the stairs, not falling for Adam's taunting again. To make sure Adam doesn't try to back-stab Scott or use a ranged attack, Scott slowly makes his way down, his shield lifted up behind him to protect anything Adam might try that's not a direct melee attack.
Adam: He dodges to the side cursing. 'I'm just not an idiot to go into your familiar territory.' he mutters under his breath but quickly analyzed the situation. He would get nowhere if he stayed up here but if he followed him down there, Adam would be under a huge disadvantage. Adam sighed, he had no choice, he was being forced to follow Scott . Adam shadowtravelled two steps below Scott and did a slash at his ankles hoping that Scott wouldn't have time to dodge the attack due to one arm being distracted by the shield being raised to defend from behind and the other is raised in a defensive position with his sword. (ooc: I asked Craft about the position, so I'm not Godmodding what his arms are doing :) ) Whilst the sword was swinging at his ankles, he got out his dagger, which was only 3/4 length of an average sized sword and got ready to block any incoming attacks from Scott's weaopon.
Scott: The attack hits head-on, causing his leg armor to be weakened substantionally. However, the pain also makes Scott's reflexes react, causing Scott's left leg to attempt and kick Adam's chest. Unsure if his unintended kick even hit Adam, Scott hurries down another path of stone steps, towards the churning lava pools below. After much effort, Scott finally makes it to the burning area. He makes it to a large stone island near the center of the ocean of fire. He prepares for his enemy's arival, already concentrating on controlling the fire that surrounds him.
Adam: He was pushed back and cursed as he saw Scott run off on a different path, he quickly ran down the steps blending into the shadows at the same time and when he reached the bottom step he got a clear view of what Scott was doing and frowned slightly. How was he going to dodge this, he didn't know. He gritted his teeth annoyed by the atttack which was also a defensive attack, he quickly backed up and made his way around the pathways so he was behind Scott and he quickly made his way forward and when he could get the closest he could get, he made a small tremor happen beneath Scott, which meant to topple him off his feet.
Scott: The tremor is sucessful, and Scott falls onto his knees, and drops his sword. Scott is surprised at how Adam hasn't become tired yet. However, despite this attack, Scott's concentration on the fire is not broken. He forces a nearby flame to launch itslef towards Adam. To defnd himself from any possible attack from Adam, Scott creates a stone wall twice his side in front of him to shield any attack Adam might have planned.
