Elixabeth: *She quickly casts an ice storm at Ava in an attempt to freeze and immobilize the already heavily armored Ava. With cold air and water around her, Elixabeth is able to minimize energy taxed and maximize its effectiveness. Immediately after casting the storm, she raises both arms and releases two more ice shards, aimed at each of Ava's shoulders.
Ava: She ducks from the two ice shards that soars over her head. The bracelet charm changes into a Bronze shield and she twists her axe back into it's full-sized form. She grins but shivers a bit. The battle strengthens her and her body heat neutralizes her shivering. She shouts a battle cry "FOR AREEEEEEES!" which is supposed to instill fear at Elixabeth, she charges.
Elixabeth: Elixabeth is instantly affected by the battle cry and begins to feel a twinge of fear. Unfortunately for Ava this twinge causes Elixabeth to quickly dive to the side and evade Ava's heavy axe charge. As she springs to her feet the twinge of fear dissipates and she feels once again strengthened by the cold water on her body and the frigid air around her. She quickly lunges at Ava with both hands clutching her celestial bronze harpoon. As she stabs the tip at Ava's abdomen, she suddenly releases one hand and quickly forms another ice shard and jettisons it quickly at Ava's dominant hand in an attempt to cause her enough pain to release her grip on her heavy battle-axe.
Ava: She leans back, trying to dodge the harpoon which hits her armor, it grazes her skin a bit above the abdomen, dodging the ice shards in the process. It hits the floor and shatters a few shards landing on the back of her neck, it stings her but she pushes the pain away. She tries to kick Elixabeth's feet sideways.
Elixabeth:*Ava's kick knocks her off balance for a moment but she quickly regains her balance. She raises her harpoon in the air and quickly stabs it downward in an attempt to pierce Ava's outstretched leg while she is laying on her side.*
Ava: The kick doesn't do much but she rolls to the side with the force but it isn't enough, the harpoon leaves a horizontal wound over her thigh. The axe is a bit heavy but it luckily moves along with her, she glares angrily at Elixabeth because of the wound but being in a battle, she become stronger and quicker than normal people. She stands and swings her axe sideways, using the force to spin.
Elixabeth: Elixabeth desparately conjures a small ice shield to try to counter the axe. The shield absorbs most of the blow but the strength of it knocks her backwards onto her rump. The shield shatters around her and she picks up a piece of the ice and holds it to her face in order to gain more strength through the cold. Sitting up, she quickly conjures another ice storm and attempts to once again freeze Ava, hoping this time that the leg injury will hamper her ability to resist its effects.
Ava: As Elixabeth is casting her ice-storm, she swings her axe in front of her, it's too cold so she moves slowly to the building. Once inside, she runs - half-limping - towards the top-most floor. The room has broken glass all-over, she waits for Elixabeth.
Elixabeth: As she watches Ava turn tail and limp toward the building, Elixabeth gives chase, keeping pace with Ava until Ava starts running up the stairs. Elixabeth suddenly sprints forward taking advantage of her lighter garb and Ava's leg injury. She raises her harpoon and hurls it at full strength at Ava's back. As she throws it she quickly conjures a gust of wind to augment the strength of the throw so it will have a more piercing effect as well as severely minimize the time Ava will have to react to it.
Ava: Hearing the gust of wind, she turns just in time to raise her shield. The harpoon hits her shield and the blow's impact sends her to her rear. She stands and her wound is bleeding. She walks down the stairs and charges to Elixabeth with her shield in front of her. She shouts another battle cry and swings her axe harder than she would.
Elixabeth: Overcome by fear again, Elixabeth leaps back from the attack and the axe barely grazes her armor. Unfortunately the leap sends her flying into a wall and she is a little dazed as she gets to her feet. She quickly reaches for an ice shard on her waist and holds it to her face to refocus herself. She then holds up the shard and leaps at Ava, attempting to stab it into her already wounded leg. She hopes to increase the bleeding of the leg and weaken Ava. As she stabs with one hand she uses the other to retrieve her harpoon and jabs it menacingly at Ava so she will be distracted and not stop the shard in time.
Ava: She side-steps quickly and turns facing Elixabeth's back, she swings her axe sideways and kicks her on her back.
Elixabeth:Ava's kick knocks her back slightly but luckily puts her out of harm's way of the axe. As she is knocked backward she also stabs her harpoon backward aiming for what she hopes is one of Ava's legs. She lands on her feet and using the wind to augment her speed, sprints downstairs and back outside toward the pond.
Ava: She waits until Elixabeth comes out and she dumps glass over her. The glass was previously all over the window. She then leaps using her good leg as balance. Her other wounded leg is folded like a flamingo. Hoping that she lands over Elixabeth.
Elixabeth: Shards of glass fall all around Elixabeth and blur her vision. She is able to clear away the glass just in time to see Ava blocking her path. She quickly backs up a few steps and then takes a running leap over Ava, using her hovering ability just slightly to give her the boost she needs. She lands gracefully on her feet and quickly sprints once more to the edge of the pond.
Ava: She runs, almost matching Elixabeth's speed, praying to Ares for invincibility in the process. Upon reaching the pond, she swings her axe sideways slightly farther than Elixabeth's neck.
Elixabeth: She quickly raises up her harpoon and blocks the attack just before it reaches its mark. She then leaps back and quickly calls upon a snow flurry to cover the area and severely limit Ava's visibility.
Ava: Due to her invincibility, Ava is not affected much of the snow flurry. She ducks and swings her axe then turns it over, stands and pushes the end of her axe to Elixabeth's face. The invincibility slowly fades from her.
Elixabeth: Elixabeth barely managed to deflect the first swing with her harpoon but the haft attack caught her full in the face. She felt her nose break and she grimaced in pain. Taking advantage of the lingering snow cover, she retreats further into the pond. Once she's taken a couple of steps back, she undoes the remainer of her pre-made ice shafts and cast them all at a form she can barely make out as Ava.Needing time to stop her face from bleeding and refocus herself, Elixabeth takes a deep breath and summons an ice golem the approximate size of Ava. She directs the golem to charge at Ava, hoping that her invincibility has depleted. She then heaves a sigh and sits in the pond, temporarily depleted of energy.
Ava: An ice golem emerges, most of the projectiles thrown to her are poor throws but some graze her armor, one even scratches her cheek. She runs, just starting to feel her thigh wound's pain - her invincibility is fading, towards a warmer part of the city. Hoping that by then, the ice golem would've melted. She straps her shield on her back for protection and her axe on the ready. Upon reaching the warm part of the city, she turns her back, grins and whispers. "We could be friends, Elixabeth. You've been a worthy opponent."
