Disasters & Major Events as Seen Through the Mist......
The True Accounts Told By the Demigods who Lived them....
Ok, so we've done a lot of famous demigods, historical demigods, criminal demigods, so this month we are doing the actual events and catastrophe's themselves. As we all know, the mortals see things in the mist to keep from seeing the monsters, demigods, gods, etc. We also know that as was the case in WW2 and Troy, mortals often are right there when the shit goes down. So perhaps there's an entirely different story behind these "mortal" events. Did the titanic sink because it hit an ice berg or because there was a demigod on board who got attacked by a sea monster? Did Chernobyl really have a melt down in the reactor or did a major attack happen between monsters and demigods, maybe even demigods and a titan?
Rules[]
- In order to enter, you must be a level 5, or will be a level 5 by 30 August 2012, when the judging will occur.
- Only one event/disaster per user, and a user may not use one that has already been taken by another user.
- Judging will be based on creativity, historical accuracy, and realism. So no changing the actual events/disasters so much so that it's not really what happened any more will be DQ'd.
- Entries must be in by the 29th in order to qualify.
- As we already know that demigods and gods were involved in the Trojan War, the civil war, the revolutionary war, WW2 and the 2nd Titan war (from the PJO books) those will not be allowed. Conclusively, WW1 would also have been demigod-involved, and therefore will also not be allowed.
Prizes[]
- First prize will receive a shiny new charie spot to be used for either BC or camp, as well as their story being spotlighted on the main page.
- Runner-Up, will be allowed to adopt a character, although not one of their own, and have it count as a minor character.
