It was May 4, 1851 when Dmitri Smoke was born to his Mother Felicity Smoke and his father Thanatos, God of death, but where getting a bit to ahead of ourselves. Lets begin with when Felicity and Thanatos first met.
It was the year 1850 when Felicity Smoke, a young and beautiful women, had just become of age and since being born into a wealthy English family Felicity was destined to marry someone with the same royal status. Many young suitors came from around the world in hope to capture Felicity's heart but, Felicity wasn't the type to fall in love in one day. She hated the idea of being forced to find marry someone she didn't love. As Felicity walked among the party she spoke to many of the men who had shown up but, none seem to catch her attention let alone capture her heart. after a while of mingling Felicity's suddenly felt her body bump into one which was muscular and very tall. She looked up into the mans almost black eyes and began to apologize. Enzo, which was Thanatos fake name, raised his hand and softly laugh. He began to speak and explained that he wasn't watching where he was going and that it was his fault they had bumped into each other.
The two began to talk and laugh and after a while the 2 went to Felicity's room and began to have sexual encounters. Felicity only did this because she felt sexually attracted to the man and not because she loved him. The next day Felicity woke up to find Enzo gone. For a short time Felicity thought of why Enzo had left but, considering the 2 only knew each other for a day Felicity quickly moved on. Some weeks after there encounter Felicity soon began to show sing of pregnancy. After a check up by the family doctor Felicity was told she was 3 weeks pregnant. Harold and Jennifer Smoke both felt repulsed by their daughter for having sexual encounter before marriage so they disowned her and kicked her out of their home. Felicity who was now homeless had no idea what to do so she ran away but, decided to keep her child.
It was about a month before Felicity went through her money she was able to take for her parents. After that she found comfort with one of her best friend and her friend was more than happy to let her stay with her. One day while at her friends home Felicity was sent an envelope. Felicity was unsure who the envelope was from but when she opened the envelope she found a big amount of money in it. She was shock at the amount of money she was sent and wondered who would have sent it to her. Felicity of course didn't question anything and tried to save the money just in case of an emergence. (Thanatos sent her the money because he saw the hard time she was going through)
9 months past since Felicity was banned from her home and it was soon going to be time for her to have her child. While out at the market Felicity was wondering among the stands when suddenly she felt a her water break. Felicity began to shout for her friend, who had come with her to the market, and the two jumped in their carriage and rode to the doctors home. Since in this time hospitals were very pricey Felicity had her child in the local doctors home. Hours had past and finally Dmitri was born.
Early Childhood:
Dmitri's life growing up was pretty good. Felicity found a job as a maid but, since she had saved the money Thanatos had given her Felicity was pretty well off. When Dmitri was around the age of 5 he began to go to school and became quite popular because of his happy personality. He had many friends and would always play with the other kids on his street. Along the year of growing up Dmitri's life was fairly good. He spent a lot of time with his mother and would hang out with his friends. Most of the time Dmitri could be found at his house or playing the sports of the 1850's at the local park.
First and last Monster Attack:
Around the time of Dmitri's 13th birthday he was wondering through the wood looking for something to explore. hours past and Dmitri finally decided to give up and go back home, that is until a giant Hell hound popped out from the shadows of the trees. Dmitri was terrified and because he had no training his only instinct was to run. He kept running until he was caught between a cliff and the beast. Have nothing else to do Dmitri just stood there in fear as the Monster looked to him with a hungry gaze. As the beast pounce forward Dmitri took one step back out of fear and plummeted to his death. Hours later his mother and a group of other people came looking for the boy. Sadly Felicity found him but he was dead.
While Felicity cried in disppear Thanatos, Dmitri's father came to claim his soul but, seeing how felicity cried Thanatos also felt sad for the death of his son. He then went to the underworld were he went to Hades and begged Hades to revive his son. After a while of convincing and begging the 2 gods came to the conclusion that Dmitri would be revived but he would have to stay i the underworld and work for Hades. Thanatos thanked Hades and then left Dmitri there in the underworld to carry out the deal.
150 years of being a servant:
Dmitri lived out his life in the under world working for Hades. he would do simple task such as clean the palace or run errands for Hades in the world above. However Hades only allowed him to go out if he absolutely needed something. After a while Dmitri stopped hoping for Hades to let him go. Since living in the underworld Dmitri aged very slowly. It took him 150 year to finally turn 17 and a half and when he did Hades finally decided to let him go. Hades felt that Dmitri payed the price and allowed him to go into the real world and live at camp half-blood. However Hades told Dmitri that he owed him something. Dmitri wouldn't know what or when until that day actually came but, it seemed fair seeing as he got a second chance at life. Once leaving the underworld Dmitri found that he was in New York so, he took a cab ride to half blood hill. Once climbing the hill and crossing the border Dmitri was claimed as a son of Thanatos.
After acouple days of living in camp Dmitri got a letter from his dad which offered him to be his priest. Dmitri accepted and is now the priest of the Thanatos cabin.
