Note: that she was originally Eden Peyton Farmiga when I first made the claim, however I changed some small details such as she's the daughter of Eros [Now Aphrodite] and her parent who is now male [Everything about her birth was adjusted to fit a male considering men can't get pregnant]. The person who cursed her also changed from Ares to Nemesis, everything else is mainly the same. Keep in mind this history is subject to future edits.
•Declan Farmiga worked as a Hotel Concierge when he first met the woman who would later change his whole entire life. Being considered nobody special, his life was fairly dull. Aside from the occasional LARPing [Live-action roleplaying] he had done, his schedule would always stay the same. Sleep, wash/change, eat, work, repeat. Growing up in a little house with five other children in Texas, the boy was adopted by family oriented homosexuals. Trying to gain enough money, he later moved to Hawaii and that was where he got the job of concierge.
However on one eventful day, he met two women by the names of Francesca Montgomery and Patricia Atkins. Both women went up to her to ask her about some of the nighttime hangouts they could go to that he could recommend to go to. However, the man was quite exquisite to both of them. Her beauty was too much to pass up so they tried to talk to him. Being set on his "schedule", he tried to make them both go away and have fun at the hotel. Distracting him at many points, Patricia couldn't quite fathom why he wouldn't want to talk to a charming woman like her. Though Francesca was kinder about it, she still had the similar question to Patrick. A few months later, he was going on a break and was ready to go home. That's when Francesca officially asked her out on a date. Declan said yes regardless of what his brain was saying. He assumed she would leave him alone afterwards and he could go back to his dull life.
Going to an expensive restaurant with lit candles and strong wine, it was something Declan has never experienced. As the two talked, he realized something-- she wasn't that bad of a woman. Sure she was impulsive and hasty, but she was also sincere and tender in a way that he's never seen in a person. It was a wonderful change for him. He grew drunk with the heavy wine, not used to the high levels of alcohol. Going into a state where he didn't even recognize herself what he was doing, he attempted to consummate with the brown haired charmer. Being someone who thought this could be her only time to get together with him, she let him take the reigns despite realizing that he was drunk. It was impulsive, crazy, yet it was so right at the same time. Being so ashamed of what she did at the end of the night, she vanished with not much so as a letter. Declan never saw him again and though he was joyful not being pestered, he was unhappy the way he left her. A one night stand? What a cliché. So he carried on with her life, trying just to go on without thinking of the woman who scrambled his way into his life. Declan was then stuck with telling Patricia he just couldn't be with her. After a night like that, was there really anyway he could be with anyone at the moment? Women were confusing and it was a lesson for him to never have sexual relations with someone who he disliked as much as she did. The wine was most likely blocking out what he really thought he told himself, however it wasn't the truth.
Nine months later, a baby was found on his door step. Being freaked, he tried to bring it to many places to be adopted. However, it had a note saying it was his baby. Being curious, he got the child's DNA checked out and realized they both had the same DNA. He wasn't ecstatic with the news. A baby? He barely could take care of herself, how could he take care of a child? Going against all logic however, he decided to keep the baby.
Eden Charlotte Farmiga was born on September 14th in 1998 in Honolulu, Hawaii. A six pound bouncing, healthy baby girl on the surface, she was average on first glance. Everything seemed perfect about her in the eyes of Declan. Little did he then learn that the sweet baby was born with an immunodeficiency that prevented her from fighting off one of the infections that most other humans can fight off naturally. It went unnoticed for a while until she got a brain infection, by then it was too late. The brain infection was treated and her body learned to produce the proper antibodies needed to fight off the infection if it ever came back. Despite this, the damage was done. The empathetic center of her brain had been almost completely eaten away by it, and she was legally named a psychopath as a result of this. The condition was discovered when she was of five years [For her, not literally was she the first person with the condition]. Research on psychopaths wasn't something you could just find-- it was largely unavailable. Not to mention her dyslexia and ADHD, the girl was extremely hard to take care of. Doing some obsessive research at the library, the only thing Declan could really gather up was the fact that she was "unpredictable" and "hazardous". Knowing that it was his poor attention that had made the infection spread, he shipped little Eden to various hospitals and research facilities pretending the baby girl didn't exist. It was just easier. Pretending she didn't exist, Declan later met another named Myah and fell in love with him. Marrying him, he had children with her that were considered "normal". Gaining money from his new wife, Declan never told her about the the young girl. Keeping her in private eye, no one really knew about Eden, even her younger half-siblings.
Once she was of thirteen years, she was shipped off to a boarding school in Melbourne, Australia. Living a strict life with an headmistress that practically scared her, she thought "staying out of trouble" was a law. It wasn't like she didn't try but somehow she just got herself in trouble. She'd draw things that would scare people off and imagined evil things as if it was something everyone imagined on a daily basis. No one really knew about her secret besides the administration yet somehow everyone had an idea about who she was. The girl spent most of her time alone, it was just the way things were.
[Age thirteen] One day, as she was was in the courtyard of the school, a huge dog appeared. The courtyard was silent, no one seemed to be there besides her. Not exactly terrified, but not exactly okay with this, the girl was more shocked of it's demeanor. It wasn't like many dogs she had seen and it attempted to attack her. That was when a boy came and basically slit the dog open. His body seemed to be trained for this as he curved away from the big dog [hellhound] and pounced on it.
They called him Matthew but she never particularly payed much attention anyone aside from herself considering no one talked to her. Despite this being the most random thing to happen to her, if not eccentric thing to happen to her, she didn't really care. It was like a silent alliance that they had. He'd follow her around like a bodyguard after this moment and no one really questioned it. Most thought they were dating considering he'd always stand at her door and hold her hand but the truth really was: they weren't doing anything important. From then on, each monster attack [At fourteen it was two harpies, at fifteen it was orthrus, at sixteen, giant scorpions, at seventeen, a fire-breathing horse] seemed to be just a faint memory considering Matthew did all the fighting for her. It caused him to get scratches and burns so she took care of him.
At the age of eighteen, she soon realized that she would have to get up and ship herself off to college soon. So did Matthew. Eden knew he couldn't protect her for long so she asked him in a somewhat weird way, 'how do you fight?'. From then on, he taught her everything she needed to know and even gave her a broadsword that he kept hidden [The mist covered this; to others it looked like perhaps a pen]. Gaining strength, the girl felt as if she was ready for anything. Kicking one monster's butt to the next, the girl grew to really like him. The closest thing to love was there and anyone could see it by a single glance, the way she looked at him.
Matthew being the child of "Patricia" aka Nemesis was similar to Aphrodite aka Francesca in one trait: hasty. Knowing that she was of Aphrodite's eggs, she [Nemesis had done the curse on her due to her father rejecting her and because she's a act-on-impulse type of person, she did it.] decided to do a little curse on her. Seeing her slowly falling in love with her son, she decided to make her unable to have emotions. Anyone she dared tried to love/really like, would end in a slow death. It made Nemesis giddy just to decline her of happiness. And so, at night when she was asleep, she came in her dreams and told her of her curse. Of course little did she know it wasn't just a nightmare...
When it was time to leave boarding school and go off to live life, Matt proposed a deal. Runaway together and they'd stay safe. Agreeing to this against her better judgement, Eden packed her bags and went off, making sure the academy knew none of this. Considering no one payed much attention to her, it was of ease for her to be sneaky-- it was only natural for her.
As they left, it seemed to be getting harder to get away from all the monsters. It was like they were popping up more often making it harder to survive. Matthew knew of camp but reasoned in his mind to not take her there. As a result of being apart of the Broken Covenant, he hated the Gods so much as to not even wanting to be protected in camp. He escaped when let out to do a quest with some of his other fellow demigods around twelve years. From then on, he faked his death and traveled a lot, living his life freely, killing any monsters in his way.
He soon then knew exactly what to do. The one thing he was doing for all these years: protecting her. Going by plane to the U.S., he knew it was up to her to see if she wanted to actually go. Telling her of camp and his experiences there on the journey, he told her the truth [He did tell her of the BC yet he didn't exactly *bring her there* as a result of him wanting it to be her choice. Matthew didn't want to feel as if he were pressuring her to go and do this, even if he did believe in the BC's ways]. Eden was a demigoddess. Eden didn't seem to care as long as Matthew went along with her. It was her only wish.
As they came close to the camp border, finally reaching America, the two smiled, hand in hand. As Eden was ready to pass it, Matthew seemed to stay in the same position. He told her he couldn't go. It was just something between him and the Gods. Tears started to pour down her face. She loved him too much to leave him. That's when she stuttered out a feel words.
"I l-l-love you."
They kissed a goodbye kiss although Matthew still refused to go. The son of Nemesis was a stubborn one. As she tried to stay with him, he pushed her into the camp border and so he was gone from her sight. Before this happened however, she swore she saw a faint sign of blood dripping down from his hairline. Blood, gore, just coming slowly but surely down his face. Was the dream correct? Would she really be able to kill him... because she loved him so much? Tears welting up around her eyes, she soon walked into camp. After meeting everybody and such, she just couldn't shake off that she might've killed one of her best friends.
A while after, there was a huge spectacle. Her hair started to randomly smell like a bouquet of red roses and lettuce. She even received apples out of nowhere. The final omen was a dove animation over her head. As this was discussed, it was soon realized that she was being claimed by her mother: Aphrodite. Eden Farmiga was officially a child of Aphrodite. Though it didn't change how she felt, especially without the man she truly loved, it made her feel somewhat accepted.
