Eulalia is, true to her name, well-spoken. How this presents itself can vary by the weather, what side of the bed she got out of, what day of the week it is, and most importantly of all - whether she ate breakfast in the morning. Yes, she's quite finicky about her day, and to keep her happy you almost have to be in a constant balancing act. She really doesn't mean to step on people's toes by never being on time to meet them, double booking herself, or just having a day where social interaction is almost impossible for her, which leads to plans being cancelled. Part of the reason why she was sent to camp was for the reason above, the rest of it being that she couldn't stand quiet and had little idea of responsibility. She just needs a while to let her hair down, have fun and friends at Camp Half-Blood with music along the way.
Eulalia was created by Apollo during the Italian Renaissance, a time of much interest in musical and artistic progress, to prompt new and original ideas as a musician to further and quicken the process of discovering new forms of expressive music. And, at first, that seemed to work - starting in Emilia-Bologna, in the city of Bologna itself, she was very successful in living amongst the masses - but by the time she was reaching the end of a normal (modern) human lifespan, things began to grow tiresome for her - having witnessed the bubonic plague wipe out many of those around her, and having been almost accused of witchcraft due to not contracting it, it was no longer as fun to move around, changing her name (purely because what wasn't suspicious about somebody that seemed not to age) and style. She wanted to serve Apollo on Olympus like some of her brethren, and be free and happy instead of seeing people sicken around her, grow old and die. Instead of hearing them praise other gods and accuse people for plagues, she wanted a happy atmosphere to raise her lowering self-esteem.
Apollo took pity on his creation, and she spent some time serving him in Olympus. But soon it became clear that she would never fit in here, either, with her peppy and finicky nature often clashing with the rest. So, yet, the happy lyre-player who had seen it all remained sad despite being convinced her wish would make everything feel better. Sometimes she felt like she had been born in the wrong time, that she was reaching for the future - and, for some time after this realisation, shut herself away. Could immortal people die by their own hand? Alas, not even that could go right, as she remembered she would never have the courage to do such a thing. Returning to work on Olympus did little to brighten her mood, and so she spoke her mind to her creator, who she loved like a father but somewhat wished he had never made the mistake of creating her in the first place.
Apollo, upon hearing her confession, came to the conclusion that her time in the human world had scarred her, and that perhaps she did not belong in this age after all. So, he took his creation to Mnemosyne and appealed to the titan of memory to take away her memories of the human world, after which point he would put her into sleep until such time he thought the world was ready for her ideas, and that she was ready for the world. Century after century passed in this manner, Eulalia unconscious and recuperating, with no lucky opportunity - until 2010 was reached, as the equally finicky and vibrant Lena won the crowd with her song "Satellite". This was Apollo's sign that the time was finally right for her to return. Not really wanting to leave, and needing some time to be taught what had changed, she grudgingly agreed in hopes of something better.
She was, however, pleasantly surprised and settled in well to her new surroundings in Italy, eventually beginning to travel in hopes of experiencing all the world's music. (The highlight was meeting the band maNga, who in Eulalia's opinion were almost good enough to win.) Soon after she began a career as a musician, which lasted for several years; when you have the ability to play any instrument you see, you can have a lot of variety. Apollo has recently allowed her to have a slight bit of respite - as, not only was the fame taxing but adjusting to modern times was too - so she's arriving at Camp Half-Blood, in hopes of fun and friends. If she gets a little tipsy along the way, what does it matter?
