Sun-bin has always been strongly opinionated and always knows exactly what she wants. She’s also quickly learned that to make it in this world, you need to think of yourself first. Confidence is key and next comes organization. Ever since the pregnancy, all her plans for Stanford, and life went down the drain. Like it never even had existed. And she hated that feeling, like she was out of control. Now that she found out she was a demigod, she's doesn't know who she is exactly. It's not like she's thinking of college. Is she party slut chic or is she polite leader of the world?

On a business trip to Tokyo, Japan, Park Chin-hae met a beautiful lady named Tatia Prinsloon. She had creamy porcelain-like skin and beautiful long black hair that was always straightened and put in a elegant, bun that made her look like perfection. Not like if she bought one of those fake donut holes. She was perfection, and he wanted her. Badly.

Of course, he had not known this at the time, but she was Cybele, a goddess.

Although she did seem to be interested in him, she kept up the chase, which made him more attracted. The sass, the sweetness. She was his dream woman. He actually wanted to marry her, even though they haven't even been on one date. He constantly continued to try and make her envious, sporting different women each week, of course they weren't previously told or they just were not aware that he loved her and wanted to be with her.

Finally one late night at Stand S, a bar in Tokyo, they talked a while about life, business and all of a sudden, they found themselves kissing each other. It was pure-- none of them were drinking that night. They ended up going back to Chin-hae's hotel room, and the rest of the night was history. When he awoke in the morning, ready to talk about their incredible sex, Tatia was missing. When he asked others around, they claimed she boarded a flight back to Australia, where she lived. As much as he wanted to find her, he was busy with work and realized, he can't depend on a lady who runs away after sexual intercourse, it started not to mean anything to him and he became cynical, officially giving up with true love at the age of thirty.

Nine months came by quickly. By then he was done with the trip and back in the office, and lived in Seoul, Korea again. Of course it was odd when he found a little baby in a basket. He wanted to bring it to an orphanage until he saw a name on the tag. "Tatia," it had said. A little note was written saying this:

Dear My Darling Chin-hae,

I understand if you never want to hear from me again. And this will probably be the last time you ever do anyway. I love you, okay? This may be a bit confusing but I'm a goddess. Yes, greek myths are real. And not myths. But anyway, this is our child. Call her whatever you want. But I can't see her. Maybe someday you'll understand why I can't. Or what this is all about. But, I love you. And that's all you need to know. For now at least.

Love from Olympus,

Cybele.

Of course this was clearly a bit weird to him. It could have been a prank, it could have been a joke for all he knew. But although his cynical persona started to build a wall around him, he had that one little part of him, that still had hope in her. And now as soon as he read the note, he finally forgave her for that deed of her leave nine months ago. Even if he was never going to see her again. And he knew just by the appearance-- she basically looked similar to him, that she was practically his daughter.

Sun-bin grew up as somewhat like her father. She planned her whole life since day one. Although she was never popular, she did have a group of "friends" (Who were more like study buddies) and tutored people after school often. She was top in her class, and would forever be known as a teacher's pet. She enjoyed it no matter how much teasing and insults she got. They were only jealous, she would remind herself when she felt the tiniest feel of sadness. Because of going to a private school all her life, the uniforms gave her a sense of prep and that was her life from then on. Vest-sweaters, knee-length skirts, button-down shirts, headbands, old classical black mary janes. If she could go in the future and be twenty years old, she would. She hated just being a kid, being with her "immature classmates gave her a migraine," she had once said.

She tried her best to be perfect. Perfect A's, perfect attendance, perfect everything. The look on her father's face, made her so happy. She felt so loved and she just couldn't stop. It was like her drug (Note: This is not a real drug. I'm making a reference.).

Once she turned 13, her life changed. In a big way. She was attacked by a harpy while writing in her notebook in an empty park. She didn't understand what it was, and she was absolutely terrified. She yelled, screaming, no one would hear her as she was alone in a quiet park. But then, as it came to attack her, it was like she created a small tornado. As it spun faster and faster, it attempted to almost slice off the harpies' wings, the harpy tried to miss but it was too late for the wings, the harpy's head was next to come off and only golden sparkles were left in it's presence.

This was when she first discovered her powers. It was awkward, and she thought she was going crazy. Of course she told no one. "Who wants to have a female leader who might have mental issues?", she had thought. So she kept it a secret. She convinced herself it was a hallucination and that's all.

Little did she know, that was her first monster attack and it definitely wasn't going to be her last.

As life carried on, she almost forgot. But almost every night, she would have a recurring nightmare of what happened and would wake up sweaty, crying. Of course she did this quietly. If her father asked, she would have probably blurted everything out to him. From the attack to the powers. Sun-bin didn't want to go to a mental asylum, so she tried to put it out of her mind whenever she went to talk to him.

In her free time, when no one was watching, to make sure she would never accidentally use her powers in front of people, she learned to control them. As a fast-learner, this was quite easy and Sun-bin got better and better day by day. She sometimes used her powers for fun by lifting rocks and seeing how long she could throw them, as she also measured it (This is her thinking of fun. Remember she's obsessed with school. And Subjects.). She also realized she could talk to wild animals, which was a bit creepy.

When she turned 14, she was eating a sandwich near "The Lake", a lake that is rumored to have seen creatures running around and killing people around there. She never believed the rumors but as a result of her previous encounter of what had happened before, she was prepped and ready for anything. She liked "The Lake" because of the cool wind and the quietness that she so much enjoyed. Far away from any harm. Or at least she thought.

As she ate, she saw a golden glow. She looked up to see a Fire-breathing horse charging towards her. She tried her to best to lift the rocks from the ground and throw them at it. But, it was persistent. Near "The Lake", there was a cliff that led to falling in the water, and she was edging towards it. Thinking quickly she went all the way at the edge of the cliff, holding her breath, hoping she didn't fall. As it ran towards her, she moved quickly, making it fall into the water below. "Thank goodness horses couldn't fly," she had thought. She took her stuff, running out of there. Only a few leftovers of her sandwich were left there.

When she came home, she thought of everything that had happened. Her father had wondered why she had been so quiet and asked her what was wrong multiple times that day. But she just muttered, "Nothing father, nothing." Even now that she realized it wasn't a little hallucination, she still didn't want to be an embarrassment to their family name.

In school, some girl was having a party. She was inviting everyone and after all those monster attacks, a party didn't sound quite bad to Sun-bin. Even if she did hate them. It gave her a reason to avoid her dad so that was a plus.

When she went to the party, she realized this was a party full of underaged drinkers, as she saw beer and wine everywhere. The girl probably got it from her parent's wine cellar and the beer from the refrigerator. Sun-bin was confused and was a disgusted by everyone being drunk. Someone was passing out drinks and claimed it was fruit punch for all the non-drinkers. She took the drink, making sure it was just fruit punch. It smelled like it and looked like it, so she drank it all, and then took a few more cups to drink. After that it seemed like everything had blacked out.

What happened during the "black out".

During the time of which she blacked out, she had not known that someone put a drug in her drink. As she walked around looking like the rest of her classmates, she saw a man. He had golden-blonde hair and he walked upright and cooly. He was sexy and seemed to only be looking at her like she was the only person there. He walked over to her, talked her up, and then kissed her on the lips for unexpectedly, and it was like they didn't have to talk to each other about where they were heading. His white truck of course for privacy. She had lost her virginity that very night. And although she had not known until the morning, Apollo was the guy that she lost her virginity too. Later, he snuck her in her room, only leaving a letter for her.

Sun-bin awoke in the morning in her bedroom, half-naked. She tried her best to remember what happened that night. All she remembered was a bunch of golden-blonde hair and a driver's wheel. She was a bit worried, confused even. She saw a letter on her end table, and picked it up. It had read:

Dear Sunny, Last night, I don't know if you remember me, but this is Trevor. My real name is Apollo and I am a Greek God. I came from Olympus. Don't be worried about why your naked, obviously you should know the reason. Right now, I'm pretty busy so I can't really talk about all this.

From, Apollo

"How descriptive," she had thought, rolling her eyes. She learned about Greek Mythology from books and she thought that this was a joke. She shook her head and put it in her shredder.

A few days later, she had a huge cramp, two weeks from that cramp, and she had morning sickness. For a week, she threw up. This had ruined her perfect attendance, not being able to attend her classes. She was a bit worried. The vomiting and the cramps carried on for a few weeks. Soon enough, it was eight weeks and she was worried. Plus she had missed her period. Something was going on, it wasn't adding up. A little part of her wondered if she was pregnant, but of course she had thought the letter from Apollo was fake, leading her to believe she still was a virgin. Her father also thought something was going on. What was up with all this sickness and not even being able to swallow down fish anymore? So he set up an appointment for the doctor to find out, what was going on.

When she went to the doctor's office, she was sure her father was going to scream his head off. She was two months pregnant. With Apollo's baby. Or at least Trevor's baby.

A few weeks later, she had decided to get an in-clinic abortion. She read all about it online, the faster you get one, the less chances of problems. She was a bit worried, and nervous of course. And she thought, maybe her father would forget this whole mess. For the past few days, he was stiff towards her. Barely talked to her. He was... so disappointed in her. And she could tell. He didn't even brag about her brain anymore to his colleagues.

Fast forward to when she was 15. By then, everyone knew about the pregnancy. She got weird looks in the hallway, people stopped talking to her. She lost her leadership in student council in account of the problem. Even the girls who got weed from who knows where called her a slut and a whore and made her feel like... nothing. Her dad didn't even look at her anymore. It was like she was different person according to him, secretly to her grandparents.

She went to the beach. The best thing about being gossiped about is that no one wanted to be around her, thinking she had a sex disease, letting her get most places all for herself. She started to take up drawing, obviously having no care for her great future that was now ruined. She saw a huge weird-looking bird. Unknown to her at this moment in time, it was a Stymphalian Bird. It came near her, as it did, she got a bit scared. She ran quickly, only getting a bleeding scrape on her leg. She used her powers to lift the rocks from the beach. After being a little rusty from thinking about the pregnancy, it wasn't as easy to lift them. They kept falling back on each other, making a rumble noise. The bird seemed to be frightened, but still confident in hurting her. She tried with all her might to throw the rocks, and hit it hard. She ran as it started to fall, obviously injured. She kept going, leaving her drawing there. She couldn't risk coming back.

Thinking to get a fresh start, Sun-bin'a father decided to live in Montauk, Long Island. It was good for business plus no one would know about the pregnancy. And so they packed up and left.

When she moved, because of getting teased, she lost all her self esteem. She was sixteen at the time. Then she met someone named Lee Hyung-Soo, he stuck around with her even when others gave up on trying to be her friend. He was a transfer student from Seoul, Korea too, so she wasn't alone in missing Seoul and he seemed nice despite that he knew about the rumors about her. Besides no one really wanted to hang out with him because of his weird eating habits, such as eating his cans like it was kimchi. He seemed to only want to hang with her and they ended up becoming good friends. Of course this gave him a reason to be gossiped about. One of the rumors was that she was paying him to be her friend. Or she only liked him because he was from Seoul, Korea. He didn't mind, and she started not to either. It was like she forgot about everything that happened after the party and she was still... Sun-bin, the girl with a plan. She felt safe with him, he was her best friend. She slowly began to have a crush on him, but never told anyone, not even him.

One day they hung out near a strawberry hill. It was quite fun, eating berries and having a picnic. Her father at this point tried to set boundaries for her, but she didn't listen to them anymore, so he hadn't worried as much as he should have. It was much fun, until a harpy showed up. Again. She was terrified even if she had more control over her powers. Hyung-Soo didn't back away and wasn't scared at all. As if this happened every day, he grabbed three pens and tossed two of them to her, transforming them into chinese sickles. Well, celestial bronze. He slashed at it, as if it was like turning the tv on, easy. Who was her friend? She tried to help, taking fencing lessons in Korea when she was younger. Finally, it poofed in a bunch of golden sparkles. After that, he explained everything to her. From camp half-blood to the Gods. Although she was a bit confused, she wasn't surprised. So much stuff happened in her life that this was probably the least surprising thing about it. He then took her phone, messaging her father to look under his paper files and he'd find a letter. Hyung-Soo explained that he had sometimes saw her using her powers, not being sure and he wanted to be sure that she was a demigod. Just in case.

He showed her the entrance, and they both ran in there quickly. She was then claimed, a wild animal being presented on her head, looking like a halo. Somewhat an animation. She smiled, realizing that she might finally fit in. For once. And everyone would forget about "Sun-bin, the pregnant one.". She ran in and said, "Home sweet home."

Offensive[]

  1. Children of Cybele have the ability to transform any aspect of earth into any weapon they desire. Only one weapon can be created at a time and it cannot be bigger than the one who created it.
  2. Children of Cybele can create a small tornado formed of leaves and grass blades. As the floral tornado spins faster, the leaves and grass blades become hard and strong enough to cut an someone. When the tornado's at it's fastest, the child can launch the blades of grass and the leaves at an opponent.

Defensive[]

  1. Children of Cybele have the ability to make an opponent feel as if their feet have become hardened and stuck to the ground, making their movements slower. If the user attacks while this power is in effect, it automatically wears off. So the power is purely defensive.
  2. Children of Cybele are able to create a earth wall, no larger than 2 to 3 times the size of the user, to temporarily block attacks.

Passive[]

  1. Children of Cybele have the innate ability to communicate with all wild animals.
  2. Children of Cybele become more sensitive to their surroundings and feel stronger when in mountains, caves and forests.
  3. Children of Cybele heal faster when they touch a piece of nature such as a tree or a flower.

Supplementary[]

  1. Children of Cybele can telekinetically move elements of nature, such as rocks, plants and vines. The part of nature must be roughly two to four meters away from the child, cannot be 2 or 3 the size of the user. The bigger the element of nature and the more elements moved, the more energy is drained.
  2. Children of Cybele can create small boulders roughly two times the size of the child, this can be used for a diversion, hiding, or thrown as a weapon. However the longer the boulder is used, the more energy is drained.
  3. Children of Cybele have the innate ability to call upon all nearby wild animals for aid in battling, as well as take control over animals that others are controlling (such as a child of Zeus with birds or a child of Poseidon with horses etc.). The larger the group of animals, the more energy is drained.
  4. Children of Cybele can use dirt, mud, rock, stone, etc to teleport anywhere on Earth. Which could be known as Earth-Travel. The user merges with the earth beneath them and reforms elsewhere. The further they travel the more energy it drains.

3 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Cybele have the ability to create quicksand pits around a small area for a short time, the larger the quicksand pit is, the more energy is drained.

6 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Cybele can create a powerful quake affecting everything within 10 meters of them. The power of the quake can be scaled depending on how long the user wants it to last. A quake that just knocks the opponent over may last 20 seconds. A quake that throws them a few feet in the air may last 5. Finally, the whole quake may be focused into a single shock-wave with the power to bounce a car a half meter or so. This requires several moments of focus beforehand, lasts only a few seconds, and can only be used once every few hours. During the quake, the user is immobile. The user is quite drained after the earthquake subsides.

9 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Cybele have the ability to morph into a lion/lioness for a short time. They can turn into either a full lion or a humanoid cat form. In the human/lion form, they are twice as faster and stronger than before. Their senses are also quite sharper as well. They also tend to be more violent and volatile in this state. Once the transformation ends, the user is extremely drained. Using the hybrid form is more draining rather than the full lion form. They will not be able to move and could possibly faint.

Traits[]

  1. Children of Cybele typically love animals and act protective of them. Becoming vegetarians and taking on many pets are common actions for her children.
  2. Children of Cybele tend to excel at rock climbing, mountain climbing, etc.
  3. Children of Cybele normally love being outside and enjoying what nature has to offer. Even to the point where they possess an intense love and overprotective spirit over nature.
  4. Children of Cybele will often grow up to be zoologists, geologists, veterinarians, ecologists etc.
