File:Hard-rock-cafe large.jpg Robin Rebane was just another freshman in a public college in Estonia. He was majoring in Biochemistry when he met the most gorgeous girl he ever saw. She had long ginger hair and bright green eyes that made him get lost inside. It wasn’t love, it was something more physical than anything. The girl, Erica, was a foreign student that had come to Estonia researching the old soviet remains in the country. They had an affair and Erica spent more time at his dorm than on her own, though Robin never saw hers. That went on for months until she left suddenly and Robin never saw her again. Not bothered by it, he went on with his studies and tried to get his grades better. When a baby appeared in his dorm few months later, he panicked. The last thing he wanted was a baby since he wasn’t even sure from which of the girls he slept the kid was. He decided it was best to be safe and put the kid in an orphanage before he got in trouble or ended up broke. The little baby was named by the nuns, Meribel which meant wonderful, and kept her father’s surname. Meribel grew up as a troublesome child, never standing still or doing what she was asked. Because of that, no one wanted to adopt her and the orphanages couldn’t stand her for too long. She kept changing orphanages at least once a year, except for one time when she was 10. The nuns in that orphanage were set up on trying to tame Meribel and tried everything to make her calmer. They grounded her, made her get less food than the other kids, taught her proper English but ended up giving up after 2 years. Living in such a secluded country, Meribel’s smell as a demigod didn’t have any monsters to attract so she led on a calm enough life. When she was 14, a man in crutches appeared to adopt her. She was freaked out, thinking it was some pedo since no one else would want someone like her but could do nothing but go with him. He took her to the airport immediately, with tickets to America and explained a lot to Meribel in the plane. He told her about the Greek gods, how he had been sent to go look for demigods in the Baltic countries and found her, how monsters would want to attack her when they got there and how Camp was somewhere safe for her to stay and train. When they got out of the airport, a demigod was waiting for them to help them out. Midway to Long Island, a harpy attacked the trio. Meribel got some scratches on her arms and cheeks, trying to protect herself and the satyr died pushing her out of the way. The demigod killed the harpy after a fight and dragged a stunned Meribel to camp, where she was claimed by Eris. A year later, Meribel left camp to look for her father. Her only clue was that he was a guy in college with the same surname as her 15 years ago. After almost a month of searching for him in the old college archives (they didn’t put the archives in the computer for some dumb reason) she found him and tracked him. When she appeared at his doorstep, to say he was shocked was an understatement. She angrily ordered him to tell her why the heck he had thrown her into an orphanage without a second thought and left her in the dark for 15 years. When he explained how he and her mother only had a physical relationship and that he had panicked when he found the baby in his dorm, Meribel got furious. She screamed every curse she knew in English, Estonian and ancient Greek at him and stormed out of the house. She passed some more months in Estonia since she didn’t want to go back to camp until she was attacked by a Cyclops and barely escaped alive. Deciding she needed more training, she went back to camp to get stronger. | |

Camp Life |
When I came here, I first met Aiden and his brother, Chris. I became good friends with both of them and the three of us liked to prank cabins and some of our friends. I went with Chris to the Autumn Dance last year but he disappeared in the middle of the party, just like Aiden's date did, so me and Aiden ended up getting together. We dated for a long time and then I somehow got Lt.Counsellor of my cabin. It drove us apart, I was too busy to get out of my cabin and we broke up. I left soon after and went to search for my father, see if he could tell me who I really was. After I did and got depressed over what I learned, I came back to camp to train more and hopefully not get almost killed next time I go out. |
