–Gerald is Born–
So it began on a cold night, Bethany Michaelson, was sipping her coffee on the front porch of her parent house, who were away on vacation. A shiny silver Countach drove into the driveway, Beth, surprisingly was calm she almost felt like she was drunk, yet it was so subtle that it was pleasing. Dionysus stepped out of the car, walked up to Beth, asked her for some "help". The two went inside, did the dirty, and Dionysus drove off, but not after telling Beth that their child would be special.
So, nine months later, Beth was doing what every childbearing woman would do, she went to the hospital, had the kid, and she named him Gerald Jerome Michaelson. Gerald was a pretty good baby, he didn't cry, he didn't scream, and he wasn't troublesome either.
–Hailee is Born–
Her mother, Margeret Michaelson, was out shopping when Phlegethon came and saved her from a purse thief, the two kinda went home and did the dirty too, and Phlegethon told Margeret that he, that her child would be special, just like her sister's son was.
Nine months after that, which was four years after Gerald was born, Hailee Lee Michaelson, was born in a normal way.
–Morgan is Born–
Gerald's mother got visited again, except this was only about 10 months before Gerald was 6, Beth was visited by Palaemon, who did the dirty with her. Palaemon left her just about the same way that Dionysus had left her, by telling her that her next child would be special just like her son.
Well, a month before Gerald turned 6, Morgan was born, and she was just like every other baby, healthy, well fed, well taken care of, and loved by her older brother Gerald.
–The Children Until Gerald Reaches Age 13–
The three children, Gerald, Hailee and Morgan all played together, as both the mothers lived with their parents. Beth and Margeret's mother and father were very wealthy, but had passed away when Gerald turned 7, (Hailee was 3, Morgan was 1), which left Beth and Marge, with a lot of money. The three kids all went to the same day care, and school building, as their mother's thought very much alike. The next year after the grandparents passed away, Marge took Hailee and moved out of the big family house, buying a small house just outside of town. Then, a year later, (Gerald was 10, Hailee was 5, Morgan was 3), Gerald and Morgan's mother died, and the two children went to live with their aunt, Marge. When Gerald had reached the age of 13, he was helping take care of his younger sister and cousin, who were now respectively, 5 and 7. Gerald, had gotten in trouble at school when he was walking home from school on cold day in winter, and he was attacked by a hellhound at the entrance to his small neighborhood. The hellhound, the size of a rather large great dane, knocked him over, put its paws into his chest, and tried to eat his face off, but Gerald grabbed the beast by the head, and pushed with all his might, in attempts to get the beast off him or snap its neck.
The children's next door neighbor, a hideout son of Hephaestus, came running up with a sword, swung it in a great arc upwards, and lopped the hellhound's head off. JimJim, as the kids called him, helped Gerald up, and the two ran back to JimJim's house, where Hailee and Morgan were already safe, as Marge had been brutally slaughtered and her house was ransacked by an empousai, a few stymphilian birds, and the hellhound that Gerald was attacked by, in search for the three demigod children. Hailee and Morgan were crying, as they wanted their mother, but were so scared of the strange monsters that JimJim had slain, that when Gerald and JimJim came in through the front door, they were relieved that their trio was now back together.
–The Children Until They Get to Camp–
The children began to think of JimJim as more of a father than a guardian, he loved, cherished and cared for them as if they were his own. JimJim felt that because he couldn't be loved by his father, that children if he ever had them, should be have the privilege of being loved and taken care of by their father.
And so it was, JimJim taught the children how to fight, he taught them how to care for each other, how to train with each other, to anticipate an enemies moves, to throw knives. He taught the children how to wrestle, and payed for a tutor to come and teach Gerald the art of Kungfu, every week day. He taught them how to build things in a forge, he showed them love and they showed him love.
When monsters came, which were usually only smaller monsters as JimJim had a cloaking device of sorts, they weren't really a problem because JimJim and Gerald took care of them. Gerald reached 15, (Hailee was 11, and Morgan was 9), and JimJim went out and bought a beater Mustang. JimJim drove it home behind his tow truck, and called out for the children to come help him move it into their four car garage. The children wondered why JimJim had bought a car, as he already had a minivan, which was used to transport metals and the children to various locations. JimJim, Gerald and the other two children, worked on the mustang a lot over the course of the next year, working on it nearly every weekend. Then when Gerald turned 16, JimJim, took Gerald outside and showed him a familiarly shaped car with a cover over it. JimJim removed the cover and it was the mustang that they had finished refurbishing a week ago, except that it was painted shiny black with two dark gold~bronze stripes down the middle of the car. Gerald was elated, as JimJim drove the three kids to the DMV, where Gerald got his license, and then Gerald drove them all back home. JimJim had just one surprise left for the children when they got back home. He had spent the past week, finishing up projects and weapons that he and the children had been making, he presented them with their weapons. JimJim gave Gerald a very special weapon, a wrist blade, which was a blade that slid out of an arm guard when he flexed his wrist, and pulled with his thumb in a specific way. JimJim gave the children lots of nice clothing, and he gave Gerald, who was 6'2 at this point, a black suit, a burgundy~black tie, and a myriad of other clothing items.
Gerald was now 20, (Hailee was 16 and Morgan was 14), a minotaur attacked JimJim when he was out with the children getting food, telling them that they needed to be careful of strangers who seemed different from the rest. A rather large, tall and fat manager walked up to JimJim, and ran him through with its sword. Hailee screamed, and tears began to pour from her eyes as she kept Morgan from looking. Gerald told Hailee to take Morgan to the car and go home. By that time the Minotaur had run to the other side of the store, as it had smelled a son of one of the big three. Gerald ran up to JimJim, who was laying on the floor, picked JimJim up, induced a drunken stupor on JimJim to ease his pain, and began to run towards the front of the store, half hoping that Hailee and Morgan would be there, but they weren't. JimJim looked at Gerald, "tell them I love them, and you. Good... Bye... my children..." JimJim fell limp, and Gerald was enraged, but he knew well enough that on his own, he couldn't kill the minotaur. He pulled out his phone, called Hailee and told her to leave Morgan at the house and drive to the store again. When Hailee got to the store, Gerald, against the protests of the police and EMT drivers, put JimJim's body into the middle row seating of the minivan, sat down in the passenger seat of the van, and cried as Hailee drove them to the house where they lived. Gerald and Hailee told Morgan that JimJim was dead, and the most honorable thing that they could do, was to bury him with their true family.
It was a short funeral procession, and the three children were the only ones there, they cried for a short while, but realized that it was time to move on, JimJim, Jim Henders, has prepared them for their next steps in life, and the fact that JimJim was gone, drew the three closer together, made them realize that they could survive on their own, but not for very long. They soon reached the ages of 26, 22 and 20, they had survived a long time on their own, but they realized that camp which they had heard of by a demigod that they gave food to while he was on his way to camp...
