Isadore is nothing short of narcissistic; he holds himself in the highest sense and believed he is the most worthy to become a king. With his addiction of power, he'll use any means necessary to gain this power and position -- even go as far as killing anyone who dares stands in his path. Isadore sees those as a mere tool, or a stepping stone, to achieve what he believes is rightfully his.
Those who have come across him have noted his handsome, intelligent, confident charm and unbreakable charisma, using both his looks and sexuality as a weapon to gain the upper hand. Isadore isn't ashamed to hurting people and break them down until they're a former shell of themselves. Renounced as heartless, his unwavering ego and false kindness makes him a powerful predator and enemy.
Despite his finesse, Isadore is also incredibly violent when enraged and will hurt others as "punishment" for crossing him, his violence a near homicidal degree. This is hinted at his great intellect for scheming and careful, meticulous plotting and uses his strategic intelligence for just about anything -- whether it be a slow crushing of someone's spirit, to a perfect murder.
The only person who he ever holds the same level as himself is his late adoptive brother, who nearly managed to defeat him in battle. Isadore greatly chatisises anyone who dares bad mouths his name and has stated he has never come across a more worthy opponent in his entire life.
Adam Vasilios was a man of greed, wrath and gluttonous power. Living on a small island near Paros, Greece, he was under the reign of King Adonis Milotis in the year 1789. Adam despised King Adonis and how he ran the kingdom, believing he should be king. This kind of delusional thinking and power-hungry planning led him to the attraction of Bia, the goddess of power and force.
Adam was a quite handsome man, despite never attracting the favour of other women due to his personality, but Bia was beyond some women. She came across Adam while hiding from the law, having stolen jewelry to resell to the black market. The sheer power he radiated and corrupted personality had Bia wanting more, so she promised him a child and helped implant the idea of his son becoming king, even going as far as to curse him with immortality as he grew into a young adult so his reign will be indefinite.
Adam's eyes had lit up with the cruel plan and agreed to it, creating a child with Bia. She promised him she shall return a few months later with the child and Adam replied he eagerly awaited her return.
Just as she promised, Bia had returned 5 months later with an infant boy in her arms. Adam had taken the child and named him Isadore. Bia had promised him that Isadore would reign and that a chance meeting would come his way.
Sure enough, on a rainy night, Adam had ventured out to steal new materials for his hidden home life with Isadore when a crash had rang into the night. Curious, the man went to inspect the noise when he found a carriage had crashed and been destroyed. That isn't where Adam's attention had grabbed him, however. Splayed out a few meters from the crash was King Adonis. Adam had recalled Bia's words and approached the unconscious king.
With a dagger pressed against his leg, Adam crouched down to inspect Adonis's unconscious form and went to grab the weapon when Adonis had startled awake. Adam jumped a bit, subtly moving his hand away from his concealed dagger. Adonis had mistaken Adam for a concerned pedestrian and thanked him for finding and rescuing him.
Adam decided to play along and escorted him back to the kingdom, face hidden from the authority. Adonis promised him he was indebted to him and promised him he shall repay his debt one day. Adam decided to hold onto this debt and put his plan into action with his son, Isadore.
Isadore's early life was filled with nothing but misfortune and abuse. His father, Adam, only cared about his plan of having power over the kingdom and only used Isadore as a pawn. At age 5, Adam taught Isadore his life of thievery, going as far as using Isadore as bait for pity money.
Isadore grew to hate and loathe his father and planned to exact his revenge onto him. Since Isadore was well in tune with living in the black market industry, he was very familiar with the corrupted individuals that lived there. Isadore always held himself with the highest honour, turning up his nose at those who begged for money and manipulated others for his own benefits - a skill his father had taught him at a young age.
If there was one thing Isadore had counted as a blessing was his charming looks, able to earn more than enough by selling himself within the prostitution branch, despite how dirty it was and how he deserved better than this. It gained him more than enough for his father, but his plan for revenge was still intact, hiding away his own earnings for something greater.
At age 13, Isadore had run into a black market drug dealer by the name of Dimitris Baras after winning a chess match against a group of petty thieves. Due to his opponent's temper, Isadore was about to be beaten by the man when Dimitris had stopped him, explaining that if he were to harm the child, he would cut off his supply. The thief gawked and withdrew, spitting at Dimitris's feet.
Isadore was confused at the kindness and spoke venomously that he didn't need Dimitris's pity. However, Dimitris took the boy to his home within a tight alleyway near the black market. Isadore was clever and quick, he knew the risks and dangers of living within such an environment and never left his home without proper weaponry.
The boy had mistook Dimitris's intentions and drew his dagger, attacking the man. Dimitris was able to dodge, but had cut a deep wound into the man's cheek. The drug dealer was surprised at Isadore's sheer power and force, but was able to take the upper hand as an older man with more strength than Isadore and grabbed the wrist that held the dagger, twisting it and forcing Isadore to drop the weapon.
He began to tell that Isadore was planning revenge on his own father, was he not? Dimitris knew of Adam Vasilios - most people who lived in the black market did - and promised him to execute his plan. Since he was fond of Isadore's intellect at a young age, and now saw just how much potential and strength Isadore held, he promised him that he wouldn't ever have to sell himself for his own father ever again.
Isadore was intrigued and demanded to know more. Since Dimitris had access to a wide variety of drugs and medicines, he held out a certain pill, able to dissolve within water - a poison he had been working on. Dimitris instructed how to use this pill and how to poison his father for his own gain and Isadore accepted his plan, deciding to use him, as well.
With the plan in action, Adam had fallen ill and began dying rather quickly - within a span of a few weeks. Adam saw this opportunity for Adonis to repay his debt and began to write a letter to him, giving it to Isadore and told him he shall become king this way.
Isadore thought he was delusional, but went through it anyhow.
As Adam died, Isadore informed Dimitris of this delusional plan Adam had set out for him and told Dimitris he shall be in contact. And with that, Isadore set out for the Milotis bloodline.
Upon reaching the estate, Isadore was met with the hostility of the guards, forcibly bringing him to Adonis's feet. Isadore internally growled at the treatment he was receiving and forced to kneel at Adonis's feet, but Adonis met the boy with kindness, allowing him to rise.
Isadore rose and brushed himself off, handing Adonis the letter Adam had written. At first, Isadore didn't believe that Adonis truly was in his father's debt, but when his expression changed after reading the letter, the king welcomed Isadore as his own son and was shocked at this discovery.
Was this truly his destiny? Was he truly going to become a king? These questions began to run through his mind, but the more pieces of the puzzle fell into place, the more determined Isadore grew into becoming king.
However, he didn't expect Adonis to have a son. Silias was his name - as he introduced - and kindly welcomed Isadore into their home as his new brother. Isadore merely saw him as a tool and a moron, making it his personal goal to ruin him so that he would become superior and that Silias would know it, too.
As Isadore was fitted to become suited for the regal life, upon walking home one afternoon, he encountered a beast he had never believed would be real.
The head and body of a lion, a goat head attached to its back and the tail of a serpent - a Chimera. The monster stared down at Isadore, the demigod's blue eyes struck with fear and wonder at the same time. However, the monster was the first to break, lunging at Isadore with quick precision.
Isadore barely sprung away, its claws scraping at his arm and ripped open the skin that was covered by his tailored shirt. Isadore cried in pain as his hand pressed tightly against the wound as he ran. He was never one to run, but this was the only option he had if he wanted to live, and his plan for supremacy hadn't been achieved yet.
Luckily, Isadore was quite agile and quick with the lifestyle he had living in the slums of the black market, so he was able to weave his way around the tight spaces of his escape route, but the beast was just as relentless as he was. The copious amount of blood that pooled from Isadore's deep wound wasn't helping him in the slightest.
Finding a suitable hiding position, Isadore wormed his way into the small spot and covered his mouth with the hand that wasn't clutching his wound to muffle his breathing. However, the Chimera was close by, sniffing for him. By some miracle, the beast gave a whimper in pain and golden dust poured from the monster. The monster became disinterested in Isadore and quickly left him for what was attacking him.
Soon, sounds from the beast and the ringing of metal upon flesh. The commotion died down pretty quickly, but it was quickly followed by the idle chatter of teenagers perhaps around Isadore's age. He wouldn't dare let anyone see him in this state, so the demigod hid until the chatter faded and a soft thud of an item hitting the dirt.
Isadore squeezed himself out of his spot and followed where he heard the soft thud, feet stepping on what appeared to be a letter opener. With curiosity, the demigod snatched it from the ground and inspected the letter opener, finger running along the dull, bronze item and thumb pressing against an emblem on the tip of the handle.
To his surprise, the elegant letter opener turned into a well-balanced Celtic looking bronze sword, the dull blade of a letter opener now a razor sharp sword. As the enchanting soft glow of the bronze sword bounced off the sunset, his thumb pressed on the emblem on the hilt and it shifted back into the elegant letter opener.
One of those foolish teenagers had dropped the hidden weapon and Isadore wasn't too keen on returning it, thus, he pocketed the weapon and trudged home.
Of course, Adonis had frantically worried about his state once he arrived and had the servants clean him up, but he waved him off, far too preoccupied with his plan to ruin Silias's life.
A few weeks to that event, Isadore's plans had begun taking effect. For starters; he began to set himself up as the perfect son and scholar. Upon his enrollment, Isadore's aura had attracted quite a bit of popularity. From his charming looks to that odd sense of charisma floating around him. It was addictive to other students and wanted to be just like him.
And, with grades to match. Having perfect marks and climbing his way up the top of the food chain, Isadore began to grow more powerful with the adoration and fawning he received and used it to turn people against his adoptive brother, Silias, to make his life a living hell.
However, there was one who wasn't drawn to his power, and it was a young girl who took a fondness for Silias. Well, he couldn't have that now, could he? Isadore wanted to completely crush his brother, and in order to do so, he'll use any means necessary.
So, upon finding the young girl, Isadore and a couple of his lackeys approached her, Isadore speaking about how it was odd that Silias was in a good mood, despite all that he's done to torment him. He took it one step further by stealing her first kiss, to make his life truly miserable.
With a sadistic laugh, he sarcastically wished her and Silias a good relationship and stride off, not caring what the outcome would be.
He didn't expect Silias's blazing fury.
Upon Silias's discovery that it was Isadore who had tarnished his and the young girl's relationship, he came to him, a wildfire in his eyes, and began to beat him to a pulp.
Isadore was caught off guard, he didn't expect such fury! He began to cry crocodile tears, knowing that Adonis was nearby, and that he didn't understand why Silias was treating him this way. Before Silias could react, Adonis's booming voice echoed in the foyer, scolding Silias harshly for abusing Isadore.
But, Isadore retaliated by destroying his beloved late mother's necklace Silias kept with him after she had died in childbirth, tearing down the last bit of Silias's strength.
Isadore had a change in plans then and there, that if he wanted to become king, he was going to have to feign kindness.
In the span of just 8 years, Isadore began to lead Silias into a false sense of security while putting his plans to action. He took it upon himself to learn fencing to put his sword to good use, after that horrid monster attacked him. Sure enough, the bronze sword was used on occasion to kill those terrifying monsters Isadore had come across in his years. Some were smaller and stupider, but others were larger and more intelligent, nearly killing him a few times.
With his connections to the black market, Isadore visited Dimitris quite often to give him regular updates with his plans and how he needed to subtly kill both Adonis and Silias so he could become king.
Dimitris had offered him a new and improved poison he had given Isadore to kill Adam to kill Adonis, making it seem like he would be gravely ill, and it worked in no time.
Isadore had slipped the pill into Adonis's water - the poison quickly dissolving - and the effects began to show in no time.
Silias was oblivious to it all, having duties to attend to as he was quickly fitted to become king with how ill Adonis was. It was sudden, and he truly did not feel he would make a good king, but Silias knew it was better for him that Isadore.
Silias knew Isadore had something planned, but within the years of being more like a brother to him, he couldn't help but let his guard down. However, it was rather suspicious how Adonis suddenly fell ill, so he intercepted Isadore when he was delivering Adonis's medicine and took his medication from him, knowing that whatever Isadore was planning would come to an end very soon.
Isadore merely sneered and left without a word, the poison already running its course and killing Adonis a week after their encounter. Silias knew it was Isadore's doing, but he had no proof since he had the favour of the estate wrapped around his little finger.
Upon Adonis's death, Isadore went to report to Dimitris, when Silias followed. He had to get to the root of his brother's scheme, even if it meant the last thing he did.
Isadore was shocked to find Silias had followed him to the black market, but if anyone knew the labyrinth that was his former home, it was Isadore. Quickly forming a plan, the demigod ran with Silias closely following behind.
Silias made a chase for a few minutes before cornering Isadore in a dead end. Or, so he thought. Isadore feigned surrender, allowing Silias to approach him, when the demigod swiftly pulled the letter opener from its confinement and pressed it to Silias's chest. The latter was confused before Isadore turned it into the bronze sword, effortlessly piercing Silias.
The last thing Silias heard was; "long live the king, dear brother."
Upon Isadore's arrival, he mapped out a lie how his brother was murdered in the black market, putting on a show of false tears and sobs that wracked his body, mourning how he held Silias in his arms before he gave his last breath.
There was nothing else the kingdom could do but crown Isadore king.
However, unknown to Isadore, Silias had alerted the authorities of the kingdom that, if he would not return with his brother, then Isadore had murdered him. And lo and behold, Silias was correct.
The coronation dawned, Isadore was going to fulfill his destiny as king. Everything from the moment he was born was to this day.
But, just before the crown was placed upon Isadore's temples, the authorities burst in and convicted him of attempted murder and murder of his brother, Silias.
Before Isadore could make a sound, the authorities threw Isadore's accomplice, Dimitris, before him. They had found him trying to dispose of Silias's body and found the root of the poison that was given to them by Silias before his death.
Isadore couldn't believe it. His brother had beaten him postmortem.
There was nothing for him to do but flee. And the authorities chased after him.
No, no, no! This wasn't possible! His plan was flawless, and yet, fate was a cruel mistress. Everything was laid out before him, who could've done this?!
Isadore ran as much as he could, ran even if his lungs burned, even if he lost the authorities. He ran, and ran, and ran. Before he eventually collapsed.
A beautiful woman came across Isadore, who struggled to breathe, and spoke that she could give him a fresh start into a new world. Isadore was suspicious, but he had nothing left to lose. As he gained his composure, he followed the young woman to her home, a small cottage, hidden away from the rest of the world, it seemed.
The woman had gifted him with warmth, food and shelter, and Isadore had no problem taking advantage of it. And the woman didn't seem to mind being used. In fact, she rather enjoyed it.
This captivating woman was the goddess Eris who had been drawn to Isadore's powerful aura and chaotic schemes. But, she would never reveal this to him. Instead, she seduced him for a more superior ultimatum.
Isadore gave in to the seduction and after the two had intercourse, Eris sent him into a deep slumber, petting his hair and whispering that he shall awaken to a new era - one where Bia's plan for him will truly succeed.
And so, she moved the demigod to New York where he slept in hiding until the year 2020.
Upon Isadore's awakening, he was alone and outside, vines covering him like a shield. He had just fallen asleep in the cottage not moments ago, how did he end up here?
As he stood and explored, he came across a sign that wrote; "Liberi Superum."
Before Isadore could touch the sign in confusion, a young man sprung from the shadows and demanded who he was. It caused Isadore to draw his weapon, the bronze sword glowing dimly in the darkness. The young man recognised the weapon as a Celestial Bronze weapon and asked him who's child he was.
Isadore opened his mouth to speak his father's name, but a voice whispered, "Bia" and he spoke that name instead.
The young man blinked and nodded and let Isadore explain himself that he awoke here. The young man assumed he was placed nearby for a reason and led him to the headquarters of Liberi Superum.
He began to explain what those words meant and what his goals were; to rule the mortals. Isadore lit up, realising that this was what he was supposed to do all along; rule over the mortals as a demigod and a king.
Isadore swore his loyalty to the Liberi Superum as long as he had a throne in their new world.
