For minor wounds they can quicken the healing process and completely take the pain away, the more severe the wound the harder this is and the more energy it drains. They cannot bring someone back from the brink of death.
If a person is dying and the fates deem that death is imminent, a healing nymph can keep that person alive, but for every minute they do it drains them substantially. This could be useful if the person who is dying wishes to talk to someone or tell someone goodbye. The longer the nymph sustains their life past when they should have died, the more risk to their own life.
As they are nymphs they do not age, remaining eternally young.
They have a telepathic/empathetic connection with nature and other nymphs

About 2300 years ago, Asclepius had become overwhelmed by all the requests he got for healing and help. He decided that he would need help, but he didn't know where to get it from since his daughters were already helping him the best they could. He decided to create one healing nymph, since he knew how helpful they could be. He created the nymph and named her Aseso, after one of his daughters to honor the goddess of the healing process. Asclepius taught Aseso how to heal, and she later would work beside him. Aseso worked with Asclepius, and they both considered each other family. Aseso enjoyed working with him, but after a few centuries, the workload wasn't much and she became restless. She brought up the problem to Asclepius, and he tried to calm her down since he did not want her to leave him. This did not work, however, and Aseso resorted to begging Asclepius to release her. Asclepius could not bear to see Aseso like this, and so he let her leave. Aseso traveled for centuries around the planet, helping out in hospitals and learning more modern ways of healing. At least once a century, she would visit Asclepius and tell him about her travels. The last time she visited him, Asclepius told her about a place named Camp Half-Blood. He told her that she could maybe do some good there, and Aseso, now going as Zywie, set off to find that camp. When she arrived at the camp, she saw that there was already enough help in camp from the children of Apollo. Zywie was told that there was a new city called New Athens. She thought that she might be able to help out there, and that is why she wants to live there.

Zywie is incredibly smart, so she constantly gets annoyed with people who don't understand what she talks about. She doesn't like friends, thinking they are inconvenient and that they slow her down. The only people Zywie really cares about are Asclepius and Panacea.
