- This arena is essentially a tightly compacted jungle/forest, with tall cliffs along the edges of the arena
- At various points in the forest/jungle there are some small waterfalls and ponds
- The arena is open to the sky and elements, however due to the tightly compacted nature of the jungle/forest, there are areas where the sky cannot be seen, along with lots of shadows and places to hide
- At the centre of the arena (jungle/forest), there is a medium sized temple, it is the darkest at this point and there are pyres, full of fire and wood, at the entrance to the temple. The fire that burns within the pyres can not be extinguished, but if the fire is removed from the pyres, it can then be put out.
- Inside the temple are various Greek statues, roughly 6 feet tall
- There are numerous and various species of wildlife hidden amongst the forest/jungle, but none larger than a grizzly bear

She walks calmly into the arena, tying her hair into a bun. She's wearing dark, navy blue jeans matched with a black shirt underneath a chest plate as well as combat boots, which served to hide 2 small daggers. Slung across her back is a quiver of arrows and her beloved bow. Of course, the outfit wouldn't be complete without a hidden dagger in her left sleeve. As she walked through the forest, she took note of its features, making mental notes of which places would be suited for hiding and for attacking.

Adam: *As he stalks the arena,he finds Kylie. She's about 7 feet in front of him. Adam ever so slowly creeps up from behind her. Careful not to step on a branch or a crunchy leaf. He also makes sure to only breathe out of his nose. So she can't hear him breathing either. Adam then goes into his left pocket,being only two feet away from her. He pulls out a small guitar pick. It's black, but possesses a golden sun design on it. And then it quickly morphs into a long sword, the words "Stalstyrke" can be seen in Greek. Engraved onto the blade. Without a moment of hesitation, Adam takes a powerful slash towards Kylie's back. He aims towards her bow slung across her back. Hoping to damage her main weapon and damage her back somewhat.
Kylie: As she walks, the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, as though her body sensed the danger she was in. From the corner of her eye, she notices a shadow on the ground which didn't belong to her. Instinct took over her and she rolled forward, just as Adam swung his sword, thereby avoiding it by mere millimeters. Through the forward roll she executed, a total distance of three feet was made between her and Adam. She came up facing her half-brother with one knee and her left hand on the ground. She could feel her heart pounding as she moved to stand up. "Attacking without first wishing me good luck; how rude of you, little bro." As she spoke, she unslung her bow from her back. However, she made no move to notch in an arrow yet.
Adam: *He rolls his eyes* Whatever! *He grips his sword and prepares his sword for another attack. The sunlight reflecting off the blade. He considers attacking her bow again, but decides trying to disarm her would be a waste of time. Adam then kicks up some dust in front of him. Forming a small dust cloud in front of Kylie, as a brief distraction. While he swiftly rolls to Kylie's left. He tries to stay a foot and a half away from her. Hopefully to stay out of the range of her daggers. But since his sword is nearly 3 feet in nature, it can still hit her. So he swings it at the side of her knee. Hoping to make it hard for her to run away from him*
Kylie: With the dust cloud partially obscuring her vision, she makes a split-second decision and causes a burst of light to shine, hoping it would temporarily blind Adam and prevent him from being able to do much harm to her. Without wasting any time, she causes a sword of light to materialize in her free hand then swings it into an arc, aiming to nullify or, at the very least, meet Adam's attack on her half-way.
Adam: Gah! *He's blinded by the sudden burst of light. So Adam is unable to see his sword clash with Kylie's newly created sword. It makes a loud clang sound as it hits the photokinetic construct. Adam then decides close combat would be far too dangerous, considering his current state. For a moment, he wobbles helplessly. Struggling to keep a grip on his sword. He quickly turns around and runs away. By some miracle, he manages to avoid tripping. Still somewhat blinded, he runs around aimlessly. Just trying to get some distance between him and his half sister*
Kylie: Hearing the sound of Adam's footsteps leading away from her, she relaxes a bit, knowing that she'd get a few seconds to compose herself and think on how to move on from there. The sword she had conjured disappeared, leaving her with only her bow, arrows and her hidden daggers. Without any hesitation, she follows after Adam, knowing that the more she waited, the farther away he'd get and the harder it would be for her to launch an attack on him. As she ran, she took a celestial bronze arrow from her quiver and nocked it. Instead of simply following the same path as Adam did however, she weaved through the trees close to the path, doing her best to keep to the shadows of the large trees. This way, she would remain undetected or, at the very least, unseen as she followed Adam.
ooc: Nocked - To fit an arrow to the bowstring to ready it for shooting.
Adam: *He stops running, his eyes regaining their vision. He rubs them with his left wrist as the lingering effects of blindness irritate him. With 32 inch blade still in hand. He turns around, ready to strike Kylie. But sees she's not there. Since he fears for his hand of growing tired. He mentally commands the sword to revert back to a guitar pick. Holding it tight in his right hand. He figures Kylie is nearby. So he creates a very small source of light in the palm of his left hand. Hoping it will reveal Kylie in the shadows. After a few moments of searching, he sees her hiding in the shadow of a very large tree. He quickly closes his left hand. Causing the source of light to fade away. The guitar pick transforms back into it's sword form in his hand. He sees Kylie with her bow and arrow, ready to fire. Being only about 12 feet from her. Adam dashes towards her, hoping to make it harder for her to aim. As he brings down his sword towards her bow, gripping the hilt with both hands.
Kylie: Having been trailing behind Adam, she could see his movements clearly. When his sword shrunk back into its dormant form, she tried moving more into the shadow of the large trees but the flare which Adam created destroyed her means of stealth. The moment Adam moved towards her, she quickly moved back, almost running backwards, in hopes of getting more distance between her and her half-brother. While retreating, she shot the readied arrow, hoping against all hope that it would hit its mark, despite the lack of a proper shooting stance. Afterward, she took out one of her hidden daggers, gripping it tightly in her right hand. She knew that Adam could easily dodge the arrow and so, she would use her dagger as a means of defense.
Adam: Damn it! *He sees her move back and avoid his attack. Once she shoots the arrow, since it wasn't in proper position. It flies low towards Adam's feet. He manages to jump up and avoid it. So the arrow lands a foot behind him onto the ground. He eyes her measly dagger, considering his next move carefully. He decides she'd just dodge another straightforward attack. Or even kicking up another dust cloud wouldn't work. So he shrugs as he starts singing an old rock song his step-dad taught him. But the lyrics are incredibly high pitched. The song is so loud it can be heard in a 20 foot radius. Birds fly away from the sound and the leaves of the surrounding trees shake. He sings for a few seconds. Hoping Kylie would be too distracted by her most likely ringing ears to fend him off. So he dashes to her left side, gripping the hilt of his sword with both hands. He makes an upward swing, aiming for the straps of her chestplate*
Kylie: She winces at the pitch of Adam's voice, instinctively moving her hands to cover her ears. However, because she's holding weapons in both hands, she uses the inside of her wrists instead, pressing them onto her ears to block out the deafening sound. By doing this, the sound of Adam's voice seems to have become softer, as though she were hearing it from afar. The ringing in her ears, however, continues due to her close proximity to Adam when he had sung. She recovered just enough of her senses to see Adam swing his sword upward but was unable to move out of the way in time. Lucky for her, her chest plate took most of the damage but the left straps of her chest plate were cut clean, causing the armor to dangle from her right shoulder. Now, with the ringing in her ears growing fainter with every second and with Adam less than a meter or so away, she decides to be on the attacking side this time. Instead of backing away, she bends down slightly (so as to avoid Adam's sword) before pushing off of the ground with her left foot, aiming to ram her right shoulder into Adam before plunging her dagger into Adam's leg; a move which, if successful, would hopefully slow down Adam's movements.
Adam: *Her sudden attack catches Adam by surprise. Her right shoulder slams into his armored chest. Making a slight clang sound and pushes Adam back a bit. Making him unable to see Kylie's attack on Adam's leg. Which hits his left thigh, making a shallow cut on the side of it. Cutting his jeans and causing him to bleed. He pushes off the ground with his right foot, moving backwards and away from Kylie. He winces in pain, as the cut stop bleeding. He considers healing it, but decides it's a waste of energy. Adam then notices how dry the surrounding grass is. He extends his right hand out and fires a bright and yellow beam of light out of it. It hits the dry grass right in front of Kylie. He burns a three and a half foot line into the ground, before the beam fades away. The burned line quickly catches on fire. Growing into a small mass of flame that threatens to burn Kylie. Adam then turns around and runs away from her.
Kylie: When Adam suddenly pushed off of the floor, she staggered forward, losing her balance momentarily before finding her footing a few moments later. She made a motion to follow Adam again only to be pushed back by the flames which he had created. Unfortunately, with every leaf it burns, the fire not only extends in both directions but also intensifies, causing smoke to rise up. Knowing that skirting around the fire would be a waste of time and air, she discards the dagger in her right hand then uses her free hand to cover her mouth and nose. She then takes a few steps back before breaking into a run, jumping over the flames as best as she could. Luckily, she managed to get to the other side with few casualties, such as the ends of her pants getting singed. She runs after Adam, but not before scooping up a few pebbles near the base of a tree towards her right. She managed to pick up six pebbles, many of which were small but good enough for throwing and gaining the attention of a moving object. She proceeds to run after Adam.
Adam: *He continues running for a while. Deciding that Kylie must have gotten past the flames and is in pursuit of him. As his half sister gets closer, he smells the smoke from her singed pants. He turns around as Kylie is right behind him and fires another beam of light at the grass in front of him. But this time, the grass was moist. So it created a cloud of black smoke. A powerful gust sends it towards Kylie. Adam has high hopes that the smoke will distract her. He grips the hilt of his sword as it transforms into a bow. He takes 3 Celestial Bronze arrows out at the same time. The arrows being held between his fingers. He then notches them all and fires towards the cloud of smoke, hoping to do some damage*
Kylie: The sudden appearance of the cloud of smoke surprised her, abruptly stopping her pursuit of Adam and causing her to back away to avoid any sudden encounters with her half-brother. With the cloud of smoke preventing her from being able to see any attack clearly, she could only hope that Adam would be unable to see her as well. She opens her right palm, dropping all but two pebbles onto the ground before swiftly moving to her right and away from the middle of the path. She did this, knowing that no matter how many arrows a person can shoot at once, the attack would move in a single vertical line, as it's easier to shoot arrows while the bow is perpendicular to the ground. She gripped the pebbles in her hand while waiting. Soon enough, she heard the sharp sound of an arrow (or rather, arrows) being released from a bow. Two of the arrows managed to fly out of the cloud of smoke, thus showing Kylie Adam's possible position in the path. She threw the pebbles in front of her hoping the sounds which the pebbles created would fool Adam into thinking that she was looking for a different path. After the pebbles left her hand, she extended her arm so that her palm would be facing the direction Adam's in. She concentrates and creates a beam of light, which she then shoots towards the branches along the right side of the path, hoping it would be enough to make them come crashing down and block Adam's route.
Adam: Shit! *The rather large branch with many small ones attached to it fall in front of Adam. But it's large size can provide cover for Adam. But it fell in a slightly slanted angle. So the branch just goes up to his legs really. So he could easily crouch down and move from under the branch. The cloud of smoke fades away, Kylie is revealed to him. So his hand goes to his quiver as he pulls out two arrows. The shafts of the arrows are between his fingers. He places his fingers on his bowstring and pulls on it. Adam pulls back more and then lets go. Causing the two arrows to fly towards Kylie's left upper thigh. He crouches down behind the large branch to protect himself from return fire*
Kylie: Despite not having enough time nor the speed to dodge the arrows, she managed to conjured up a cloak crafted from light, the hem of which reached the floor. The conjured cloak effectively blocked Adam's arrows, causing them to merely bounce off upon contact and land on the floor. However, she felt her energy diminishing faster than ever. Knowing that the cloak would slow her down, she moved behind a tree, hoping it would be able to temporarily protect her from any attacks. Once safely behind the tree, she readies an arrow but doesn't draw on the string yet; merely having the arrow fit into the bow. She then risks using her power once again. Concentrating hard, she projects the feeling of intense/severe nausea onto the nearest person, which happened to be Adam.
Adam: Oh shit! *The feeling of nausea quickly takes him over causing him to vomit violently on the ground. Leaving a large mess of vomit, a few bits of it touching the very tips of his shoes.* Shit.... *Taking advantage of a temporary lapse in combat. He advances slowly, still sick from the nausea.* Ah crap *He vomits a little bit more. Before seeing Kylie's shadow from behind the tree. But a few feet behind her, Adam can see a lone grey wolf. He grins madly, before causing the grey wolf to break out in rabies. He sees the wolf looks confused for a moment, before it looks very angry and hostile. Foaming slightly from the mouth. It dashes towards the nearest living thing to attack. That being Kylie, the wolf bares it's fangs towards her ankle*
Kylie: Hearing Adam vomit, she smiled to herself, all while making her cloak disappear, allowing for faster movements. As she waited behind the tree, a light breeze blew in, rustling a few branches. Glancing up, her eyes land on a branch, low enough that she'd be able to climb up to it with a little help. Just as she was about to reach up and see how hard climbing the branch would be, she heard the rabid growling of a wolf from behind her. Quickly turning, she saw the animal's grey fur. Just as it made a dash towards her, she made a decision of not shooting her arrow. Instead, she gripped both weapons in one hand. As the wolf made for her ankles, she jumped, using the wolf's back as a spring board in order to get a hold of the branch she saw earlier. She used her free hand to secure a grip on the branch, earning herself a number light scratches. The rabies infected wolf lunged towards her dangling feet but, with enough effort, she managed to kick out at it. Unfortunately, the wolf's claws managed to make a good-sized gash at the side of her left leg but her kick connected with the wolf's body. The animal was sent crashing into the path just a few meters in front of Adam. With nothing but instinct to guide it, it turns towards Adam, baring its teeth towards him and soon, lunging towards the male.
Adam: *As the wolf rushes towards Adam, he decides to lift the curse. Causing the wolf to seem less aggressive, it's eyes revert from their former red color and it stops foaming from the mouth. But it still dashes towards Adam, so the young son of Apollo rips off a nearby stick off a tree next to him and tosses it towards Kylie's direction. Distracted by it, the wolf turns around and runs towards it. Once it collects the branch in it's fangs, right under Kylie. Adam fires another wave of infection at them both. But this time the wave would infect the target with Typhoid. Adam begins sighing heavily and wipes some sweat off his forehead with his sleeve, becoming rather tired from all the fighting and use of his powers. If successful the wave would infect her and the wolf with a high fever, a bloody nose, possible adominal pain and worst of all, a drop in her white blood cell count*
Kylie: While Adam was distracted, she took this time to bring herself on top of the branch. Using her tree climbing skills, she manages to do the task easily, her leg wound causing her little difficulty, as it had already begun to heal. Just as she got her footing, she heard a loud crack, indicating that Adam had broken off a part of a tree branch. Taking out the small dagger which she had hidden in her combat boots, she prepares to throw it but stops when she sees a stick land on the ground close to where she is, followed closely by the wolf. A sudden pain in her stomach makes itself known, causing her to gasp and wrap her right arm, the same arm holding the dagger, around her stomach area while her other hand was placed on the trunk of the tree to prevent her from pitching forward. Next, a sudden rise in her body temperature seemed to occur. Immediately knowing that it was Adam's doing, she concentrates as best as she could and, using her control over diseases, prevents Adam's attack from developing further. Along with this, she makes the pain and her body temperature lessen to a more tolerable degree. The effort in doing so, however, had cost her a lot of energy. She leans against the tree trunk for support but still manages to remain alert and aware of her surroundings. With her back against the tree trunk, she would not be able to see Adam, should he choose to come closer, but would be able to hear him due to the numerous dry leaves and twigs around the perimeter of the tree she's on. She grips her dagger even more tightly and strains to hear or pick up any sound of Adam's approach or attack.

This was well fought and extremly well written. By far the best challenge/battle I have ever had the privilege of judging. By one point Demi/Kylie has one, no changes are to be made, and to both participants, you guys did AMAZING.
