Pre-fight[]

Tim: Tim groaned. He had been expecting this. The nervous fluttering in his stomach. The sweat drenching the back of his neck. He had decided to challenge his head because, why not. He wouldn't lose his position as Lt. He new that. He just wished that he could fight with Andra by his side. He always felt better and fought better with her with him. As he walked he looked around. The place was abandoned alright, but it didn't look too bad. Some building looked like they were going to crumble, but others looked like they were in perfect shape. He saw a manor in the middle of the city, but that was probably where Kim would look for him first. He wished he had a bow, then he could get her from above, though that wouldn't be fair. He decided to head for one of the lower buildings. Maybe he'd be able to find something uselful

Sooyeon: Upon accepting the challenge of her lieutenant counselor, Sooyeon arrives at the designated place well-prepared. She wears a plain, white round neck shirt under her breastplate. She was also wearing a short that reaches her knees. The current counselor also had her knees and elbows covered with pads. Her cherry blossom earrings that turn to her bow and arrows rest on her ears, while her sword is sheathed at the side of her waist. A small shoulder pouch, containing her ambrosia cubes, slung around her. Sooyeon examines the place and purses her lips. She stares at the differently heighten buildings, shattered glass windows, and dusty but functional cars. Once her half-sibling was visible, she greets him with a gentle smirk and reaches out her hand for a shake to commence the match. "Let's do our best." She says, flashing her pearly teeth slightly.

Tim: He shakes her hand and smiles back. "So, how do you want to do this? We can split and go that way, or we can just fight now. It's up to you. Honestly, I don't really care." His hand slides to the pommel of his sword, just in case she chose the latter. Gods, this is going to be close. I should have trained more than this. His hands shook a little nervously.

Fight[]

  • Sooyeon: Sooyeon arches her eyebrow; however, her smirk doesn't leave her face. The expression indicates that her confidence from her friend's support and tips. She can sense Tim's nervousness, and it boosted her self-esteem more. "Sure, whatever you say." She takes a step backward before jogging away from him. "Come and get me then." Her grin hangs from her ears before running as fast she could, turning her direction towards the old buildings. The counselor entered one and jogged up a couple of stairs before realizing that it's a mansion. Once she had entered a room leading to a hallway of another set of rooms, she decided to count her steps. She tried the first room but the door knob is jammed.Luckily, the second and third weren't. She ended up entering the third. Afterwards, Sooyeon tried to imitate a ninja's subtlety. Since the room was dark and was filled with furniture covered in white sheets, she stepped on a wind chime. A smirk found it's way to her face before she grabbed the chime and hanged it on the nail that was buried on the door that leads to the hallway. She counts her steps once again towards the dark 3rd room and made a space in the corner beside the door to make use of her bow and arrow.
  • Tim: He watched her disappear and then headed in the opposite, wanting to fight on his own terms. He headed towards the apartment buildings. He walked into the foyer and looked around. It was a small, but tall building. He could see all the way to the top of the building, maybe seven stories? He started up the stairs, wondering how he could turn what was around him, into a weapon. The years he had spent in foster care with Andra had taught him how to be mischievous . He looked through the rooms, they had been abandoned, with furniture still in them. He decided to set up base in one of the rooms on the fourth floor. It was a corner room that had a balcony. He looked around for things that he could use as ammo, as he didn't have a bow. He spotted a bunch of trophies, and they looked heavy.
  • Sooyeon: The lawyer, who dislikes waiting, moved along to examine the mansion "Why the fuck did he even made me choose?" She cursed under her breath before walking out of the corridor. She counted her steps before opening the 6th room, which also had a balcony. It's glass door was badly shattered, and Sooyeon wanted to smash it further but she kept herself together. She walked closer to the door. The sun's light ray prickled on her skin. Once she was leaning on the grills of the balcony, the corner of her eyes caught a figure of a man moving. Her blood boiled once again as aimed her weapon at the figure. Since only the two of them were in the arena, the counselor knew it had to be Tim. After being certain her aim was perfect, Sooyeon released the arrows. Swift as lightning, her arrows hit the cabinet of trophies. She waited for Tim to notice her presence, preparing her middle finger to be raised.
  • Tim: He looked from where he was to Sooyeon and frowned. He knew he had to get out of there before he got hit, so he turned and ran. She has an advantage for long distances, but I have an advantage at close range. he thought. If I can just get close enough, I can fight her with my sword. He headed out the back of the building. He stayed to the shadows. One thing he learned be fore he died, was patience. Andra never learned it, but he did. He stayed in the shadows, and prayed to him mother that she would help him at least with keeping him out of sight. He headed toward the mansion and darted inside, praying to Hermes that he wasn't seen. I just need to get close to her. That's all I need to o right now. He slowly walked up the stairs leading to the floors above, looking for anything that could alert his presence. He had made it to the third floor alright, when he noticed that the dust had been disturbed outside one of the doors. He slowly opened the door, trying to to disturb anything. He heard a tinkle of chimes and groaned inwardly. Crap.
  • Sooyeon: Once Tim has fled Sooyeon's line of sight, the counselor half-expected him to come out and find her. Returning inside the room, she realized that the place was a clinic. She slung her bow on her back before walking to the cabinets. Sooyeon smirked when she saw bottles of 70% alcohol. 'Lighter, I just need some lighter.' she said to herself. After pulling out the last drawer, Sooyeon found pounds of tobacco and a lighter. "Guess the doctor loved to smoke." She chuckled to herself before turning her back on the cabinet. Taking the alcohol and lighter, Sooyeon then grabbed the white sheets that were covering the patient's beds, tore the cloth into strips, pulled out 4 of her arrows, wrapped the heads with the torn cloth, and drenched the arrows in alcohol. A millisecond after the chimes finally rang, Sooyeon had set another piece of cloth aflame. She hid the alcohol and lighter in her bag, while taking the burning cloth with her outside the room. Sooyeon smiled at the Tim's presence and laid the flaming cloth on the ground. She quickly grabbed the arrows and set the head on fire before firing it at Tim's direction. She repeated the process a couple (3-4) of times without the slightest hesitation.
