On the top side of this arena it is a typical landscape, a pond in the middle, trees, however it is charmed to be eternally night, with the stars and moon in the sky
Located in the middle of the arena on the top side is a small grave yard
At a few various point around the arena are dark caves going deep down into the underworld, this part of the underworld has been sealed off from the rest, so that anyone may gain access no matter who their god parent
The arena is open to the sky and elements, but as there are caves down into the underworld, there are areas of the arena that the sky access is limited
At the centre of the underworld, there is a medium sized temple, it is the darkest at this point and there are pyres, full of fire and wood, at the entrance to the temple. The fire that burns within the pyres can not be extinguished, but if the fire is removed from the pyres, it can then be put out.
Inside the temple are various Greek statues, roughly 6 feet tall

He arrives, wearing his full samurai armor, his hand lay rest on his sword's hilt, ready to be drawn. He mutters to himself words of wisdom to keep him confident "I fall seven times... I stand up eight...." "I start with a victory over myself, and end with a victory over my enemy...." "The true path of the warrior leads to death...." He silently waits, cold and unforgiving. He is ready for his opponent to be arrived, and so he may conquer his foe.
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but the ability to do what's right when you are terrified."
Jake calmly takes his time to scout the area, doing his best to use it as an advantage. He wears a leather breastplate and two arm guards, while carrying his twin swords. After some time, he takes sight of Ryuu and his heavy armor and smiles at such a sight. Hiding until he has rechecked his attire for maximum comfort and mobility, Jake finally steps out of the dark forest. I'm starting to get used to seeing you in that armor.

Powers of a son of Deimos:
Children of Deimos have the ability to send a wave of terror out in front of them which causes anyone affected by it to imagine something they fear; the bigger the wave, the more energy used. This can leave them vulnerable to attack.
Children of Deimos have the ability to unleash their battle-lust and fight to their full potential; however, they are temporarily blind to friend or foe and attack anyone nearby.
Children of Deimos can become resistant to all types of physical attacks for a short time.
Children of Deimos can send out waves of terror and fear that may paralyze an opponent and cause them to stop attacking for a short time. But the user cannot attack the opponent while the paralysis is in effect.
Children of Deimos are immune to any senses of fear and terror, making it impossible for them to get scared and panic in battle.
Children of Deimos are innately proficient in most forms of combat and hold a higher state of physical prowess.
Children of Deimos emit an aura of fear and terror, making people at least slightly afraid when near them. They can turn it off for a long time if they wish.
Children of Deimos know the fears of everyone around them, as well as how a person is likely to cope with that fear.
Children of Deimos have the ability to calm the fear of others.
Children of Deimos are able to project a person’s worst fears into their mind, causing temporary trauma and confusion into them. This power is only active for a short time, and loses some of its effect the more it is used on the same person.
Children of Deimos have the ability to conjure a real version of someone's worst fears, however, the child of Deimos is not able to control the conjured fear and is susceptible to them as well; they are also drained of a moderate amount of energy when the fear is conjured.
Children of Deimos have the inhuman ability to leap great distances at once which can be used to dodge or attack. Upon landing, a small tremor is unleashed which causes anybody within a few feet to lose their balance.
3 Months After Character is Made
Children of Deimos have the ability to focus on a person’s fears and mimic the abilities of that fear for a short time. If the user focuses on a pyrophobe, they will get some powers over fire. If the target is scared of a specific animal, they gain some abilities of the animal. (If the feared animal is a spider, the user will be able to generate webs from their wrists and crawl on walls.) And if the target is afraid of death, the user can drain some of their life-force and make them think they’re about to die. This power cannot be used to become incredibly powerful or instantly kill and the power can only be used once in a fight.
6 Months After Character is Made
Children of Deimos can turn the fear and terror of others around them into emotional energy and then tools, objects, weapons and other items, create semi-living constructs and/or create structures/buildings of varying permanence; however, only up to 3 combative/non-combative items or 1 semi-living construct can be conjured at a time and it cannot be larger than roughly 3 times the size of the one that conjured it. The longer they maintain combative/non combative items and semi-living constructs, the more it drains their energy, so they are more limited for the time they can keep these things cohesive. The fear constructs will terrify/scare anyone they touch.
9 Months After Character is Made
Children of Deimos have the ability to become a spirit made entirely of terror. In this state, they can change into a tangible form of someone or a group’s worst fear. The tangible form of the fear is the same size as that fear exists in naturally, is immune to all attacks, and the fear’s strength is greatly increased from its natural strength. The more the user is feared, and the more the form the user is in is dreaded, the stronger the user’s form is. The user can only stay in this state for a short time, after leaving this form, the user will be extremely drained, not able to move and could possibly even faint.
Children of Deimos are known to hate the idea of losing people they care about.
Children of Deimos typically enjoy fighting and combat, since their father is considered a war god.
Children of Deimos normally love scaring people and watching them drown in fear and terror, making Halloween a special holiday for them.
Ryuu: He remains silent, and walks up to Jake, seeming as though a cataract of shadows form around him as he moves. When he speaks, he has a voice that sounds like a continuum of endless horror, muffeled and shadowy alike, as if it was projected not from his mask, but as if there were one hundred of Ryuu in the room, all speaking in syncronization with one another "Admiring my armor is an act of foolishness.... You've yet to learn about sighting your foes...." he quickly draws his katana, in which doing so, the drawing of his sword is also an attack aimed for Jake's ribcage, a samurai technique Ryuu has known for many years thanks to his advance training in many forms of martial arts. This attack is used by many katana users, but Ryuu has timed it so the attack is hopefully unexpected, and Jake will be hit by the sword, or even just a smaller gash caused by the tip of the blade striking him if he were to attempt and dodge this move.
Jake: Being a son of Deimos himself, Jake seems unimpressed by the monstrous voice act. He wants to object to Ryuu's comment about "admiration," but decides to stay silent instead. Once his opponent started to move, Jake is alerted. He takes a tighter grip on his weaponry. Despite Ryuu's timing strategy, Jake familiarly forms a cross to successfully block Ryuu's katana with his twin swords, adding energy to try and push Ryuu back. In the nick of time, Jake switches to defending using only one sword. Using the slightly curved lower portion of his sword, Jake swiftly tries to hit the left side of Ryuu's neck with much force; he hopes for a heavy impact to temporarily stun Ryuu, dislocate a bone, or knock his helmet off.
Ryuu: The attack strikes, but does little to affect Ryuu. Due to the fact he is wearing a Japanese kabuto helmet, his oponent's blade only hits the Hachi, the dome forming the back of the helmet that reaches down past Ryuu's neck. Because the Hachi is composed of interlocking metal plates, it isn't damaged, and the helmet itself is quite heavy, thus it will not easily fall off. However, despite this attack not physically injuring Ryuu, it does make Ryuu rather dizzy. Ryuu, despite being dazed for the moment, decides to intertwine his next attack with a hybrid of both Kendo sword technique and unarmed martial arts. With his left gauntlet, which is holding no weapon, he performs a double-cross punch aimed directly at Jake's stomach, which would hurt from Ryuu's metal-wooden glove. As he does this attack, he also brings his sword upward, and strikes down at a certain angle onto Jake so that his katana should cut his opponents left shoulder. Ryuu's dizziness could manipulate and ruin the accuracy of his attacks, but if either one should hit Jake in any way, they will be quite powerful.
Jake: After the blow on Ryuu's helmet, Jake unconsciously moves towards the left for his next attack; little does he know that this fortunate move will cause Ryuu to hit only an quarter of Jake's abdominal area. However, due to the force, he staggers backwards. Feeling a change of wind flow on his right, Jake immediately conjures a small creature of Ryuu's list of fears. The distraction appears in front of the two and splits the close distance, allowing Jake to escape the blade. The small creature drops down to the ground and wastes no time to pounce on Ryuu, trying to block his eyesight and pound as much of Ryuu's body as it can. Remembering a temple in the middle of the dark forest, Jake takes opportunity to bolt away from the scene. The forlorn forest leaks some moonlight from the distanced trees. Nearly reaching the temple, he grabs onto a branch and climbs it; on top, he becomes hidden between the compact leaves. Jake then shifts his right sword to his left hand and takes out a throwing knife attached underneath his pants.
Ryuu: Because Ryuu lacks a true fear that would terrify him, the fearful creature to Ryuu appears to be a blob of shadows, for there is no direct form it could morph into. Despite this, the attack from the blob makes Ryuu's chest armor slightly damaged and exposed. He luckly uses his katana and destroys the fear with a stab from his blade. Ryuu noticed that his opponent has vanished. Rather than trying to find his opponent, he finds it wise that he should also vanish and wait out Jake until he tries to find Ryuu. To hide, Ryuu goes near a cave, which is dark enough to conceal Ryuu's position. To try and confuse Jake, Ryuu throws a rock towards somewhere else in the arena, making a loud crash far from where Ryuu is, thus it seems like he is located where the rock landed and not hiding by the cave.
OOC: >.< Sorry, I don't understand. Other than in the not yet entered temple across the forest, where is that statue located? Also, the arena is somewhat "magically" large. Correct me if I'm wrong, but how would be be able to throw a rock across it?
OOC: Sorry, I've never fought in this bloody arena. I was a little confused. I fixed it now, so it should make more sense.
Jake: Jake awaits for Ryuu's arrival. He is then answered by the large crash sound; he comprehends the area hit is nearby, and so must be Ryuu. The sound is different from a body's crash; in his logic, the amour weight couldn't have allowed Ryuu to throw a large enough object, to make such a sound, far from his current position. He comes down from the tree and walks cautiously towards the sound. Jake then summons a shadow of a nearby squirrel's fear, humans. Closely approaching, Jake sees the small circular plain the sound came from. The two make sure they are well hidden by the forest, assuring a realistic illusion. Jake gives the creature one of his swords, stops to the left, and hides between the trees; the creature, however, tries to lure Ryuu out by going the other way. Once a good distance from Jake, it halts and portrays like the Jake that would be hunting for Ryuu.
Ryuu: Noticing the illusion, Ryuu slowly makes his way, staying in the shadows. He then slowly draws his katana when he's almost at the creature. Then, Ryuu quickly charges at the illusion, and hacks it up with his sword. Then, realizing it wasn't Jake, Ryuu is much more cautious. To make sure Jake has less attacking power, Ryuu picks up the sword Jake gave to the illusion, and throws it far away, a good enough distance so that Jake won't be able to easily retrieve it without facing Ryuu first. Ryuu, noticing the forest could be a hiding spot for his enemy, makes his way towards the woods, his sword drawn and prepared to fight.
Jake: Silently stalking the shadow with his eyes, Jake sees the inevitable death of his creature. As his opponent is closing by, Jake readies the two throwing knives. He fires upon seeing a figure alike with Ryuu's, aiming for the abdominal area; he does this to ensure minimal misses. Once thrown, he cares not of the result. He takes out two more throwing knives. While waiting for his sword to revert itself back to a cross charm around his neck, he sprints closer towards the stone temple. Jake attempts to lure his opponent every step of the way. Since he purposely gave his location away, he, prepared, anticipates further signs of his half-brother catching up.
