"There is no liberty here in this world; we are all being used by the gods as if we are their pawns. I was born in the barren part of a place people would call a city, living in poverty. On my sixth birthday, I was abandoned by both my mother and my father, they never looked back when they left, shattering all the happiness I had that day, I was never the same. From that day on I pledge to myself that I would no longer be controlled by my emotions, I will show no mercy, and will make them pay for what they made me been through!
I was sent to my Uncle's house, he never liked children. He commanded me to head straight to the room I will stay in. He never allowed me take one step from my door, unless I am going to the washroom. Those have been my loneliest five years of my life. Then a year later, I was called upon by Zeus to Olympus and my only choice was to answer. At night after I made sure my uncle was asleep I sneaked out of my room, trying not to make a sound. I grabbed my jacket and ran out of the door. Since my uncle lived close to the Empire State Building, it would have took me ten minutes to get to the Empire States Building, but it wasn’t that easy it was winter, and the temperature outside was below zero. All I had was a jacket I found in the closet of my room. When I ran in I asked the security guard to let me go up to the 600th floor. He refused and he left me with no choice, I took the silver blade from my back pocket and stick it to his neck and said, "I wouldn't be saying that if I were you... If you want to keep your life, give it to me," completely in shock, he gave me the card. I got on the elevator and stuck the Key Card into the slot, soon I reached Olympus. I have soon realized that the only reason they called me up to Olympus was for their own gain. I was forced to do their work. A week later, I couldn't take it anymore. The gods, where have they all been when their child is suffering, and now they wish for us to help them. I will no longer be their pawn; at night when I had the chance I escaped. I ran and ran nonstop. While running, I saw a group of demigods sitting around a campfire. What interested me wasn't the demigod but the Celestial Bronze Scythe one of them carried on his back. All I had was a silver blade, which was the best I could get for myself; I hid behind a tree and watched them, after they finished talking the other two demigods head off into the forest, the only one staying at the campfire was the demigod with the golden scythe. This was my chance, I slowly ran through the trees carefully not to startle him. Then I drew my sword out and slashed him until he bled to death, he died with his eyes opened in a cold stare. Then I took his scythe and armour and left, one thing I didn’t know was that the demigod I killed was actually the son of Hades, when he knew about it he was angry and he sent hellhounds and a Minotaur out to destroy me.
I soon knew that escaping was no longer an option. My energy was being drained every second. I knew the monsters were gaining on me. When I realized that it was already too late, the Minotaur had caught up to me. Seeking destruction it ran towards me and hit me crushing every bone in my body. My flesh ripped and blood gushed out. I knew if the Minotaur didn't finish me off I would die of the loss of blood.
I knew I am not going to survive this attack and then I blacked out. When I woke up I was in a place that I've never been to. Then a guy around my age came up to and said, "You have been unconscious for a month, but all your wounds have been taken care of, but on your back was a giant scar. We know your situation, this is the Broken Covenant. Here we will help you seek your revenge..."
