For years, the gods and goddesses have watched on while the humans developed through the years, as they advanced both personally and technologically. Lately one thing has become quite clear to them; humans have a habit of being very irresponsible when it comes to their environment and the animals that reside within that environment. They came to a decision, fearing for the safety and longevity of their sacred animals, they have decided to create a special group of nymphs to help protect their sacred animals. These nymphs’ life forces are each attached to the animal they are a nymph of; if that animal becomes extinct, the nymph will die. The gods considered the fact that here are thousands of animals and creatures that roam the earth, but not wanting to over extend their powers, they have decided to only concern themselves with the animals that are sacred to them.
When they aren’t out in the world helping other nymphs and helping to protect their animals, they spend their time at camp.
Kelsie was created by Poseidon when he found that fresh water fish, and aquarium fish were being released into unnatural habitats and dying as a result of it. Kelsie first stepped foot onto earthen soil in her natural clothes, nudity, however a man by the name of Josh Mindyekil found the newly born Kelsie in the woods by a stream in California. Kelsie blushed intensely when Josh found her, however, Josh pulled off his shirt and covered her with it, then carried Kelsie to his house. Upon arriving Kelsie was scared, she didn't know what to think of Josh, but Josh got Kelsie clothes, they talked for a little while, then Josh asked where Kelsie was from.
Kelsie told Josh that she was an animal nymph, created to protect fish. Josh was somewhat taken aback at this, but took Kelsie at her word, as his daughter had to go to a camp called Camp Half Blood. Josh asked Kelsie if she needed to get to camp, and Kelsie told Josh that it would be wonderful if he could send her there...
