Parents Meeting:
It was a cold and silent morning in the city of Miami. All that could be heard was the loud bumping music from a party that seemed to be taking place on the beach. Lexi Hartman, a young 25 year old daughter of Aphrodite was at the party having the time of her life. She was young, wild and beautiful, which caught the eye of a certain god. She was dancing with a couple of her friends when she suddenly felt a body press against hers. Lexi turned around to find a handsome man. She began dancing with him and soon after the party was over the two were at Lexi's house doing you know what. Later that week, Lexi went to a bar and after getting drunk, she met another guy and after talking and laughing, they ended up doing it.
Lexi soon forgot about the two men who were really Eros, the Mischievous god of love and Deimos, the god of terror. Lexi didn't really care much, as those nights were just simple flings so she went on with her life. That was until she found out she was pregnant. Lexi, who found out she was going to have twins, didn't know they were both demigods. However, they were sons of different Gods. This is known as superfecundation, and it refers to as when a woman has sexual intercourse with two men and gets pregnant of twins, but each of them has a different father. They never look alike physically as normal twins do. (Here's a link if you need more info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superfecundation) Lexi, who couldn't bring herself to kill the twins, went through the 9 months of pregnancy. when she had them, she named one Chase which was the child of Eros, and Killian to the child of Deimos. Later that night, Lexi went found two boxes on her bed. She went to the first box and grabbed the note that was attached to it. It was from Eros explaining that Chase was his. Lexi wasn't to surprised seeing as she was a demigod and knew all about the gods. Then, the second note was from Deimos and it claimed that Killian was his child which confused Lexi a bit as to how she could have twins with different fathers. That was until she continued to read the note which explained about what really happened. Lexi was even more perplexed by this then went she opened the two boxes. One contained a necklace that turn into a CB sword and other contained a pocket-sized matchbox, which was full of Red and Black-tipped matches. The red ones would turn into a CB rapier when flicked and the black ones to CB gauntlets to be used in hand-to-hand combat.
Lexi was a bit confused as to how all this could have happened to her but she was sure of one thing. No matter what, she wasn't going to let anything happen to her kids.
Early childhood:
Killian and Chase had a pretty normal childhood. Of course, they didn't know of their fathers. It was already dangerous enough with Lexi having 2 demigod children. If they discovered about their heritage, then things would be worse. At the age of 5, both twins were diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia which only made Chase's trouble with school even worse. Chase and Killian were both pretty popular at school. Their friends where mstly the same people, as they were super close. Not many people knew the two were twins since they weren't really fraternañ twins and looked nothing alike. When Chase was about 11, he found the love for singing and Playing the pian ,although he nevers shows anyone including his brother,and Killian started to become more mischevious and developed his wits.
First Monster Attack:
When the 2 demigods turned 12, they had a party. Their mother, Lexi, gave them both the weapons gifted to them by their respective fathers but of course, the two didn't know the true forms of them. Many of their friends came and it was a pretty big party. About an hour into the party, Chase was getting really hot inside, so he went outside to get some fresh air. Killian, who didn't want to let Chase go outside alone, followed him and they both stood out there alone in the cold. It was quite cold outside so there was no one outside except for the 2, or at least that's what they thought. Out of the blue, a loud shriek was heard. Both, Chase and Killian looked up to find a harpy flying above. The harpy swooped down at Chase and just as it did, Killian tackled Chase to avoid him from getting attacked. The two quickly got up and suddenly around Chase's neck started to burn, as well as Killian's right pocket.
Chase looked down to his burning neck and ripped off his Necklace. Killian, thinking that a match had caught fire accidentally, took out the matchbox from his pocket and it suddenly lit up, then both the match and the watch, transformed into golden CB weapons. Chase was now looking at his sword but was brought out of his thought as soon as he heard the monster again. Neither of them really know how to use their weapons, but as the harpy swooped down, this time at Killian, he side stepped and swung his weapon aimlessly. He got lucky and hit the monster's wing. Chase took this as a chance to swing his weapon right at the head and kill it. Both Chase and Killian were dirty and had some small bruises but there was nothing to really worry about. When their mom asked what happened, the both lied and said that they had slipped in mud, making there clothes dirty and giving them a few bruises. Their mother sighed and then laughed, telling them to go up stairs and clean up.
2nd Monster Attack:
Their second monster attack was in the same year, about 3 months before their 14th birthday. Months before this attack, both Chase and Killian asked their mother to put them in self-defense classes so they could train with their weapons. Chase and Killian took sword training classes and mixed-martial arts, although Killian would also take wrestling. Their mother thought it was a bit weird but she figured they need something to keep them busy with, so she signed them up. While walking home from school both Chase and Killian felt someone following them. They both decided to begin running but found themselves at a dead-end alley. Suddenly, there was two small, yet scary hellhounds. The hellhounds were maybe the size of a small car so the two were pretty scared. Then, a man, who was secretly a son of Ares, appeared in front of them and began fighting the two beasts. Chase and Killian who were both scared ran behind a garbage can. As soon as the man killed the two monsters, he looked around seeing no one, since the 2 brother were hidden, and left. The 2 brother then came out their hiding spot and promised that until they knew what was going on, they wouldn't tell anyone. Not even their mother about this.
3rd Monster Attack and 1st Time Getting to Camp:
Soon enough, Chase and Killian went on with their lives forgetting about the monster attacks. They were about 14 and a half and were both at school. For their 14th birthday, they had a party and luckily for the 2, no monsters came to attack them. As the day finally finished, the two got home to find their mother fighting against something that seemed to be a giant scorpion. The 2 both got angry and went to their mother's aid. Summoning their weapons, Chase and Killian attacked the scorpion. Lexi was very surprised, but seeing that her sons were fighting a monster she began to help them. A little while later, they killed the beast and went inside to talk about stuff. Chase and Killian both confessed about the previous monster attack and their mother explained everything about them being demigods and about their godly heritage.
Soon after there talk, Lexi packed a few bags and took Chase, Killian and herself to the airport. She figured that now that the 2 brothers knew about their heritage, their lives would be even more dangerous. They took a flight to New York and a cab to the bottom of CHB hill. Just as they were walking up the hill, they heard something in the trees. when Lexi noticed this, she told Chase and Killian to begin running. Soon after she told them to run, a flock of harpies Flew out of the trees and began chasing the trio. Lexi began to run with her sons while she summoned her weapon which was a bow and arrow. She shot many arrows. Some missed, but others did hit the monsters. With most of the harpies injured by the wings it gave the 3 a chance to run across the border safely. Just as they crossed, Chase was claimed as a son of Eros and Killian was claimed by Deimos. Lexi said goodbye and returned home.
Going Home:
Chase, and Killian stayed at camp for about a year before finding out they hated it. Bot Chase and Killian couldn't be together because the rules of children sitting at different tables for lunch and sleeping in different cabins. They contacted Lexi via Iris Message, and she decided to bring the 2 brothers back when they absolutely needed to. When they got home they lived pretty normal lives, except for the fact that they were attacked pretty often.
Getting to Camp:
For about two years, the boys and their mother were attacked by monsters. Considering that they were 3 demigods they got attacked pretty often, but with the boys training from camp, training everyday since they got home, and also with Lexi's experience, they were able to get by. Sometimes they would have a bit of trouble, like when those 2 giant hellhounds came to attack them. The trio fought along hard and were finally able to kill the beasts. Also there was the time when a the 2 telkihines attacked them at the beach. With Lexi shouting out words such as "miss" and "fall" using her charmspeak, they were able to defeat the monsters. Oh and let us not forget about the time when the trio were attacked by about 4 harpies. Once again with the help of Lexi's powers, the three were able to defeat the monsters.
Besides all the monster attacks, Chase, Killian and their mother were living a nice life. That was until an empousa came and attack them. Lexi who had encountered one before knew they were hard to defeat. However, the trio began to attack in perfect harmony. When the monster was attacking Chase and Killian, Lexi would come behind and attack it. As they were doing this, Lexi was using her charmspeaking to try and help them. Although the effects would wear off very easily. Lexi would shout things that would occasionally make the empousa fall on their face or miss her attacks. After a long while, the trio were able to defeat the monster.
After they cleaned up and rested, Lexi suggested to take the twins back to camp. Chase and Killian both began to protest but finally agreed once Lexi explained her reasons. She said that their lives were getting too dangerous and that they would be safe at camp. When Chase and Killian asked why she wasn't she coming, Lexi also explained that she never liked being at camp. It wasn't really her place but that she wanted her sons to at least give the place another chance. Chase and Killian both took a plane to New York and a cab to CHB hill. As soon as they got out the cab, they paid the man and began running up the hill remebering what happened the last time they were there. A couple minutes later the twins were safely inside the camp borders without being attacked. Chase and Killian both now live in CHB and have already been claimed by there godly parents since the first time they got to camp at 17 years old.
