Nora was born to Poseidon and a mortal woman in 1996.After her birth, the mortal woman wanted no part of her, and so, she put Nora up for adoption.Nora was in Foster Care until she was six, where she was adopted by a couple who could not have kids.They treated Nora as their own and she grew up happily with her adoptive parents, not knowing that she was a demigod, or her adoptive parents.

One day, Poseidon came and visited her adoptive parents.He told her about Nora, that she was a demigod, and she had to go to Camp Half-Blood when she became of age.Her adoptive parents were scared.They didn't know that Nora was a demigod and so, they protected her.They never let her leave the house, in fear she would be attacked by a monster.

When Nora was thirteen, her adoptive parents took her to Camp Half-Blood and Nora remained there for two years before going back to New York to stay with her adoptive parents for a while, since her adoptive mother had gotten very ill.Nora stayed with her adoptive parents until her adoptive mother died, and then she went back to Camp Half-Blood.But as she came back, there was trouble: a cyclopes.The cyclopes killed Nora and Poseidon was gravely upset, and so, he turned her into a water nymph.Nora is now a water nymph, and she stays at Camp Half-Blood.
