History

File:Ocean waves-13473.jpgNora was born to Poseidon and a mortal woman in 1996.After her birth, the mortal woman wanted no part of her, and so, she put Nora up for adoption.Nora was in Foster Care until she was six, where she was adopted by a couple who could not have kids.They treated Nora as their own and she grew up happily with her adoptive parents, not knowing that she was a demigod, or her adoptive parents. One day, Poseidon came and visited her adoptive parents.He told her about Nora, that she was a demigod, and she had to go to Camp Half-Blood when she became of age.Her adoptive parents were scared.They didn't know that Nora was a demigod and so, they protected her.They never let her leave the house, in fear she would be attacked by a monster.

When Nora was thirteen, her adoptive parents took her to Camp Half-Blood and Nora remained there for two years before going back to New York to stay with her adoptive parents for a while, since her adoptive mother had gotten very ill.Nora stayed with her adoptive parents until her adoptive mother died, and then she went back to Camp Half-Blood.But as she came back, there was trouble: a cyclopes.The cyclopes killed Nora and Poseidon was gravely upset, and so, he turned her into a ocean nymph.Nora is now a ocean nymph, and she stays at Camp Half-Blood.

Nora is a very happy person.She's very kind and she loves water a lot.She also is a very friendly person and she is very protective of her friends.She's fiercely loyal to people, no matter what.Nora is very gentle and polite and she absolutely loves animals.

Defensive

1. They can dissolve into salt water, while in this state they are immune to all attacks; however, once the user changes back they will be extremely drained and immobile for a long time.
2. They have a slightly higher resistance to burns.
3. They can survive falling from high altitudes as long as they land in water, they can also go as deep into the ocean as they desire without any effects from the water pressure.
4. They have the ability to create a dome shaped torrent of water, roughly two to three times the size of the user, which can be used to block attacks for a very short time. They can also use this power to form other objects as well, at delimited size.

2. They are able to telekinetically move water. The larger amount of water used, the more energy it drains.
3. They have the ability to Water Travel in salt water, a sort of teleportation; the further the distance, the more is energy drained, and there must be a substantial amount of water at both ends.

1. They can heal minor wounds and soothe more severe wounds.
2. Are able to inspire men and uplift the spirits of those around them with their singing
3. They have minor prophetic and oracular abilities, but not as strong as the oracles.
4. They, and everything they touch, stay or become dry in water, unless they want to become wet.
5. They can make air bubbles form under water.
6. As they are nymphs they do not age, remaining eternally young.
7. Their life force is connected to the ocean, if that water is polluted or destroyed, they will die. They can also die in battle or from serious injury.
8. They have a telepathic/empathetic connection with nature and other nymphs, especially animals that dwell in salt water sources.
9. They are stronger the closer they are to the ocean, the further away they go from it, the weaker they become, if they go too far they risk death.
10. While in the water, they have the ability to take on different appearances, such as what some people refer to as mermaids
