Roleplay[]

Aurora: She was sitting on the ground, looking absolutely miserable, as she stood, albeit slowly, and limped deeper into the forest, searching for anything. Anything at all. A growl emanated out of the woods, making her whirl around and try and search for a weapon. Of course, she had nothing on her, and she watched in fear as a giant hellhound crept out of the shadows, hunting her.

Blodwen: Having heard a hellhound had come too close to camp for comfort Blodwen had ventured out into the snow blanketed forest looking for it. She had tracked it as far as about a mile from camp before something odd came about. She saw tracks of another being, someone who walked on two legs. She watched the tracks detecting the limp in the snow and took off at a light trot her feet making no noise in the snow. The other persons tracks were of someone who had been injured and Blodwen would be the one to save them.

Aurora: The hellhound lunged at the girl, claws slicing down her chest, sending her back into the snow. The blood enraged the hound even more and the creature bit down hard on her collarbone. Aurora's eyes went wide before she shrieked in pain, feeling the crunch of her collarbone shattering. She was close to giving up as the hellhound continued to inflict more and more injuries.

Blodwen: Hearing a cry of agony and pain Blodwen picked up her pace. The limping person had definitely been caught by the hound. Bursting into the clearing Blodwen formed a spear out of ice and hurled it at the hellhound that was crouched over something and whirled at it with her now formed Halberd.

Aurora: The hellhound whirled around with a snarl, finally leaving Aurora in the snow and stalking towards Blodwen. The creature lunged, but was soon cut to dust by Blodwen's weapons. The young girl was laying on the ground, almost panting out of pain. She was in a horrible state, what with injuries everywhere, and not just one shattered bone, but several..., Aurora blinked, trying to stay awake, but not succeeding. Her eyes grew heavier and heavier.

Blodwen: As the monster is eradicated she quickly moves to the side of the wounded being. "Now little one keep your eyes open. Hey wake up." She lightly pats the girl on the cheek trying to keep her awake. "Whats yer name little one? I need to know for the Apollo kids." She was going to have to figure out a way to transport this small girl with so many shattered bones back to camp and to the Apollo kids. "Keep your eyes on me little one. That's it. Name?"

Aurora: Her sight slowly grew more and blurred as she moaned again, but the woman's words punctured her halfway state and she blinked twice, barely clearing the blurriness but looking at the woman exactly how she had asked. "A-A-A," a small tongue darted out to wet her dry lips before she tried speaking again. "A-A-Au-ro-ra. Z-Zeus." She whispered, close to passing out.

Blodwen: "That's good little one. Now keep your eyes open okay. This isn't going to feel very good and I apologize for that in advance." She uses her powers to encase the young girl in an armor made of ice. She made it tight to keep the girl from moving. "I'm sorry Aurora but I'm going to have to lift you. Scream if you must I will understand." She brushes the small girls hair out of her face. "Ready? 1. 2. 3." She lifts the girl encased in ice in her arms with little difficulty.

Aurora: She blinked at the instructions, eyes now, fully open, slightly confused. Aurora felt the ice wrap around her and tighten, holding her injuries in place as she felt the icy fingers of the woman gently brush her cheek, removing a few strands of her blonde hair. The sudden, but gentle movement, made her almost cry out in pain. Aurora's eyes watered as she tried to rest her head on Blodwen's shoulder. Every word hurt as she tried to speak. "Why you want me awake?"

Blodwen: "Because little one the injuries could cause you to go into shock. As could the ice you are encased in. Just keep your eyes open and keep talking to me okay?" She started walking back towards camp her feet leaving deep impressions in the snow. "What is your favorite thing to do in camp Aurora? Where do you like to go?"

Aurora: She nodded, as much as she could immobilized in the ice. "W-What's shock?" Aurora moaned suddenly as the pain increased, eyes fluttering closed. "I-I don't know." She whimpered, trying to break the ice straitjacket she had on. "I-I don't I stay..." Her head lolled back, as her eyes closed. She had passed out.

Blodwen: She looked down and when she realized what had happened she cursed violently. Her injuries were proving too much even for the rapid healing factor of demigods. She needed to get her back to camp and fast before she succumbed to them. "Hey wake up little one!" She shouted at the girl as she shifted the ice coated girl in her arms so that she could grip her and run with something resembling haste.

Aurora: The young girl remained limp in her arms, Aurora's head rolling back against Blodwen's shoulder, eyes tightly closed. Even Blodwen's shout didn't do much, only making her moan slightly in pain, as the ice straitjacket remained close to her. She looked to be doing horrible, quickly going down the drain with every passing minute.

Blodwen: Sprinting as fast as she dare with the injured girl in her arms Blodwen finally reaches the outskirts of camp. She spots another camper and screams for them to go get some Apollo kids. The little girl looks over and sees the injured camper and dashes off Blodwen still running behind her not daring to stop. Eventually they are stopped by an Apollo boy.

Apollo Boy: "What happened here? Why is she encased in ice?"

Blodwen: She sets Aurora on the ground and the ice instantly melts away. "This little one, Aurora a daughter of Zeus, was attacked by a hell hound. I got her back as fast as I could. She's barely holding on. Ya gotta help her boy. She's not gonna last much longer on 'er own merit." And so the Apollo boy began to treat her as several more campers gathered around to witness the spectacle and several other Apollo kids came to try and help her as well crowding Blodwen out.

Aurora: Feeling the ice melt away, Aurora tried to open her eyes and slowly achieved it. She blinked, trying to see around herself. "W-what? w-w-where?" Her eyes closed again as her head fell limply to the side again. There was injuries everywhere, and right now, the main issue seemed to be bloodloss and the shattered bones.

Apollo Boy: "We need to get her into a bed in the infirmary. Can you reset your ice so we can move her without furthering her injuries?"

Blodwen: Blodwen waded through the sea of bodies to Arurora's side encasing her in ice again. "Lets move quickly then." She lifts Aurora and her and a veritable battalion of Apollo children rush to the infirmary. Once there Blodwen lays her in a bed and removes the ice again and the Apollo kids fall on her working first on setting the bones with their healing arts.

Aurora: She let out a groan, eyes finally cracking open again as she blinked, trying to look around and maybe even lift her head. Her shattered collarbone made her almost cry out in pain, but she still tried to sit up, looking around with narrowed eyes.

Blodwen: As the Apollo kids make noises of agitation at the moving child Blodwen moves to Aurora's side and rests a hand on her head pushing her lightly back down on to the bed. "Give them a little more time little one. Your injuries are extensive and they are working on healing your bones first. Lay still. If you make it necessary I will freeze you again or knock you unconscious if it means getting you treated."

Aurora: She felt the hand gently press her back down onto the bed. "But..." One of the Apollo kids had started work on her collarbone, feeling around the area gently and cursing. Aurora let out a sigh. "I-It's either remain still or be knocked out... Wouldn't the second option be counter-intuitive, since that's what you're trying to avoid?"

Blodwen: "We are back in camp now little one. Unconscious now is okay and better than all this squirming. How can they set bones that are still in motion?" She grins at her. "So if you just sit still and let the boys and girls work you can stay awake. Otherwise it will be nap time."

Aurora: Her eyes widened as she rested back, watching the Apollo kids bustle around her. Her pain grew too much as the apollo kids continued to tend, close to making her panic. "P-P-Please stop." Aurora repeated in a low mantra, fists clenching and relaxing at every word repeated. "everything hurts."

Blodwen: "It's almost over little one. Take deep breadths I promise it will be over soon." She rests a hand on the girls forehead her naturally cold body cooling further to try and soothe the small childs anguish.

Aurora: She whimpered, turning her face up for the cold feeling of Blodwen's hand as one of the other Apollo kids looked up Aurora's file. "She's 14? She looks more like eight!" He exclaimed, looking at Aurora laying on the bed, trying to get more of that cold feeling. She appeared to be developing a fever, one that was almost hidden so far.

Blodwen: She could feel the small child burning up and looks at the Apollo children. "Pardon me but its about to get cold in here." Suddenly snow starts to drift down inside of the building brought on by Blodwen. She rests her other ice cold hand on Aurora's chest right below her throat trying to cool her core as well.

Aurora: The snow and Blodwen's freezing cold hands kept her nice and cold, making Aurora let out a sigh of relief. The Apollo kids kept working, finishing up with her main injuries. "T-Thank you.'

Blodwen: "Course little one. Least I can do for ya." She smiles at her allowing her cold to flow into the girl willing her fever to recede. It probly wouldn't work because freezing temperatures would bring on a cold. But for the time being her temperature being lowered would keep her still whilst the Apollo children finished their work.

Aurora: She blinked, feeling off suddenly as she coughed, pushing herself up into a sitting position to try and push back the nausea. The cold had pushed back the fever, until it returned with a vengeance. Sweat broke out along her face as she groaned, struggling to keep her eyes open, but afraid to lay back down.

Blodwen: Blodwen let out a small exasperated sigh and moved onto the bed behind the little Zeus girl pulling her into a hug her body temperature below the point of freezing and the snow intensifying. "Shh little one you are panicking. Deep breadths. There you go." The Apollo children were also growing exasperated as every time she would move one of their freshly healed broken bones would be reshattered and they would have to begin anew on that point.

Aurora: She nuzzled into Blodwen's chest, eyes fluttering open and closed, as she felt the coldness settle through her entire figure, calming down as she remained in Blodwen's arms. The Apollo children finally went back to work, immobilizing each bone as they finished to prevent any more incidents from happening. The only areas of concern were the collarbone and the hellhound bite on her side, especially the bite and claw marks, seeing that's where infection could settle in.

Blodwen: She continued to make soft noises of reassurance as the Apollo children worked on her wounds. This little girl was really a handful but it was lucky Blodwen had been the one sent to hunt the hound.

Aurora: She yawned, exhausted from everything, and let her eyes flutter closed. Aurora rested her head on Blodwen's shoulder, nestled into the crook of her neck, utterly exhausted and sleeping comfortably.

Insert time skip to after Aurora has been unconscious for six hours:[]

Blodwen: After the girl, Aurora she reminded herself, had fallen unconscious Blodwen had moved her gently into a lying position so the Apollo kids could finish their work on her collar bone. She was going to recover or so the Apollo kids had said. Blodwen was usually not one to coddle anyone but this girl seemed like she was going to need someone to guide her from the darkness she had found herself in and if it had to be Blodwen she would survive. So she sat in the Infirmary with her whilst she slept, relaxing in a large armchair drawing for a while and then reading until the girl came to. "Well ello there little one. Ave a nice nap did we?"

Aurora: She stirred, eyes slowly blinking open as she pushed herself up with a sharp inhale of breath, feeling a brace around her neck, keeping her from turning her neck while the collarbone healed. "Y-Yeah." Aurora murmured, peering at her legs to see the splints holding the bones in place while the healing set in. "H-How long?" Her actual question was how long will it take for her to be able to move.

Blodwen: "Been bout six hours since you went under. Apollo kids said you should regain full use of yer limbs in roughly three days. They'll take the splints off in two the third is for observation. What were you doin out there little lamb? Snow up to yer knees tanglin with a hound like that. Lucky I was out an about or ye wouldnta made it outta them woods alive."

Aurora: She blinked in shock at the times, finally sitting up with lots of effort before looking at Blodwen. "T-Three days? R-Really?" Aurora asked, bending to start messing with the brace around her neck. "W-When did they leave?"

Blodwen: "Bout two hours ago. But if you keep messin with that there brace they'll come back in and it wont just be three days of layin about. Three days is nothin anyways unless you got some big important thing you gotta be doin." She stands up. "And aint nothin more important than recoverin after a big monster fight. So if you dont stop fiddling with that gosh darn brace I'll put you back to sleep fasteran you can say no dont."

Aurora: She quickly shook her head, eyes screwing up in pain as the healing bones were irritated. "N-No more sleeping. P-Please." Aurora's voice was soft. "I-I'll stop."

Blodwen: "Good girl." She retakes her seat and kicks her feet over one of the arms looking very seriously at Aurora. "Now then, just what were you doin out in that snow little lamb?" She was curious what made this girl go out into the knee deep snow for any reason. Let alone the fact that the hound had been anounced just that very morning.

Aurora: She sighed. "I-I was, well, needed to be alone and the woods seemed like the best place... I slept there for the first few days of my arrival as well."

Blodwen: "Normally I wouldn'ta blamed ya for wantin to get away. But they warned campers that hound was prowlin around. So for you to take off like that was just plum foolish. Unless you went out there hoping to get caught by the beastie. In which case you are just down right stupid." She frowns at the girl. "So which is it? Are ya foolish or stupid little lamb?"

Aurora: She shook her head. "I-I-I didn't hear t-the announcement. T-The f-f-f-forest i-i-is w-w-where I-I-I n-normally s-sleep a-a-anyways, s-s-so..." Aurora trailed off, swinging her legs over the side of the bed, starting to swing them absently.

Blodwen: "So yer foolish then. Well either way you're lucky I came and saved ya or you'd be a pile of blood and bones in the snow right now. Count yerself lucky." She sits up in her own seat. "So why sleep in the forest? Yer a daughter of Zeus you get the best cabin, the best beds. Whats wrong with sleeping in your cabin?"

Aurora: "N-N-Nightmares. I-I-I get r-r-re-a-l-ly bad o-ones a-and I-I d-d-don't w-w-want to w-w-wake m-m-my o-older b-brothers." She muttered, continuing to swing her legs over the side of the bed.

Blodwen: She lightly rubs her temples trying to keep herself calm. This little girl was clearly nervous and frightened by her stern approach. She opens her eyes and looks at her with a soft tender gaze. "Nightmares are a bad thing arent they little lamb? Why don't you ask the Hypnos kids to help? They can usually take away nightmares if you ask them nice enough." She gets up and forcefully lays her back in bed tucking her in tight. "And if you get out of bed again I'll go get them and we'll put you to sleep till your wounds fully heal." She smiles sweetly at her.

Aurora: She sighed, enjoying the feeling of being tucked in gently. "A-Alright. T-Thank you." Aurora murmured, reaching her head for the older woman's hand to lean into. "I-I-I'm s-sorry I-I've been s-such a-a-a t-troublemaker."

Blodwen: "I understand how Adrenaline affects the body little lamb. Your body is still registering everything even though you've been at rest for as long as you've been." She allows the girls head to snuggle against her hand knowing that the gentle approach was finally working. "Now then little lamb I will go see if I cant get my hands on a Hypnos kid to lend up a hand. The Apollo kids will watch over you while I'm gone."

Aurora: She nodded, eyes watering slightly before she rested her head back on the pillows under her head. "A-Alright."

Insert Time Skip to two hours later:[]

Blodwen: It had taken longer to convince a child of the god of dreams to roll out of his bed than she had anticipated. Dragging the still half sleeping demigod to the Apollo cabin she kicked the door open with a shout. Tossing the boy like a sack of potatoes thrown by an Olympian he lands next to Aurora's bed and several Apollo kids look her way. "One word and yer all gonna get it. This lump didnt wanna roll out of bed so I rolled for em." She strides up to Aurora's bedside. "Gottem little lamb. Now work yer magic little sleepy boy or I'll beat you till fairy dust falls out."

Aurora: She slowly turned her head to look at Blodwen and the boy, eyes opening quickly. "W-What's going to happen?"

Blodwen: "This lump is going to help you not have quite so many nightmares because he knows what will happen if he doesn't." She glares at the Hypnos Boy.

Hypnos Boy: He looks at Blodwen with a bored tired expression and nods. "If it means I can get back into bed sooner sure." He yawns and rests a hand on Aurora's forehead. "Now think about the nightmares that plague you at night." He waited patiently for her to bring the nightmares to memory.

Aurora: She nodded, closing her eyes and letting her mental walls fall. Nightmare after nightmare appeared and faded away as quickly as they came, bad memories and nightmares alike mixed together, almost overwhelming the Hypnos boy. Outside, she was starting to shake, badly, and crying as well.

Blodwen: She watched the entire event transpire with mute disinterest. The sooner she could help this girl get over all her issues, because for some reason she can never leave anyone to their own when they needed saving, the sooner she could move on with her life and never have to see her again.

Hypnos Boy: As the memories flowed through and the nightmares he pulled the nightmares and caused them to fade away. It was a difficult effort and actually required him to wake up completely to concentrate enough to complete the task.

Aurora: She swallowed nervously, remaining still for the boy currently looking through her mind, and looked down at the covers, watching her hands twist in and out of the sheets. Aurora caught a glimpse of Blodwen's disinterested expression, and swallowed nervously, afraid of her all of a sudden. "I-Is i-it done?"

Hypnos Boy: As he pulls the last of the nightmares he can find he nods going back into his usual drowzy state. "I think I got them all. Can I go back to bed now?"

Blodwen: She sees the fear in Aurora's eyes and makes a mental note to either try and look more interested or not care if she's afraid or not. This numbskull put herself in this position. "Yes you can go back to yer cabin and crawl back into bed." She steps closer to Aurora's side. "So hows the ol noggin? Still stuffed with spooks or are you good to sleep in yer own cabin again?"

Aurora: She grinned slightly. "I-It's good now. W-wait... I-I thought I-I couldn't leave here u-until everything's good?"
