{{Aisling|| "That's sweet,"she smiled softly, eyes caste down as she fiddled with her thumbs. "I wonder why she'd sleep with anyone like my father then?" The question was more for herself than for him, which is why when she asked her next question, she looked him directly in the eyes... albeit only for a second. "How long have you been here? You're very knowledgeable." }} |

{{JaceM||"Gods like having us, I doubt they're all that bored to just hook up with mortals for fun." The reason why so many demigods existed made him think the deities had them on purpose. "I've been here for a while, first showed up a few years back and left for college. It didn't work out so I'll stick around longer." Jace sat down from where he was standing, still giving the daughter of soul some space.}} |

{{Aisling|| She pulled her knees to her chest, balancing on the stone bench. Her chin rested on top of the bony joints. "I stopped going to school long ago..." she replied, voice full of remorse. "I'm sorry I'm such a downer... I was told I should be a child of melinoe, not psyche, although I don't know exactly what they were alluding to, I know it wasn't good."}} |

{{JaceM||"Nothing to be down about, school wasn't that great anyway. You know how many kids would kill to stop going to school?" He continued trying to make her laugh or crack a smile, seemed like she could use either. "Melinoe's the goddess of ghosts, naturally people would expect them to be all sad and depressing." Since Jace wasn't quite the average son of Eros himself, he didn't believe in godparent stereotypes.}} |

{{Aisling|| While she didn't crack a smile at the talk on school, because as far as she could remember, she enjoyed it. Though, she did smile ever so slightly at the description of melinoe. "You know, I'd stereotype a child of melinoe very differently," she thought a loud.}} |

{{JaceM||''"Progress."'' It was nice to see a little smile from on her lips, besides she looked cute expressing amusement. "I mean how? Are you expecting some Casper the Friendly Ghost vibe or something?" The idea of all children of Melinoe simply being lonely scary people who just wanted to make friends amused him.}} |

{{Aisling|| she shook her head in a very child like manner. Brows raised, eyes wide, jaw slightly slack. "Nuh-uh," she replied. "I would think that someone who is surrounded by death, would be more appreciative of life..." she replied. "For example... I was held in captivity, it's most of my life, but freedom and the idea of it kept me going. I cherish every breath of fresh air I receive now." Her response would wipe clear any thoughts that she was a child and as if to emphasize her point, she shut her eyes and took a large fulfilling breath.}} |

{{JaceM||Jace didn't mind the childish actions, not even considering himself overly mature. Though her words of wisdom were what really got her attention. He couldn't say he was ever held against his will, his mother was quite strict but it wasn't like he was in jail. Though a desire of freedom was something he understood. "Freedom's great, just get to enjoy your life and keep yourself happy." Jace believed in a fair amount of hedonism, that people should be able to have fun and give into their vices within reason. "Hope you can do that." Suddenly catching the girl sleeping outside made far more sense.}} |

{{Aisling|| She nodded, her new idea... philosophy on life, making her more willing to open up. It also helped that he didn't try to crowd her space like others in the past, and he was quick to follow her lead in moving a conversation along. "Life here... I can not only step outside, but wander and tend to my mother's garden," she sighed blissfully, a more sincere smile gracing her face. A single hand reached out and butterflies flocked to it, resting their glorious wings along her arm, wrist, and hand. "These are such colorful beings... I aspire to be like them." Her eyes and voice became extremely gentle when speaking of her most beloved being.}} |

{{JaceM||"Camp is pretty laidback, sure we have to learn how to fight and stuff but that's just self defense really." Jace was quite an easy going young man, not really interested in becoming some legendary warrior of the gods or something. He liked the peaceful state Camp could provide, causing him to view it as some nice demigod sanctuary instead of a training facility. "You must love it here don't you?" It was obvious that she immensely enjoyed being in the garden. Butterflies were beautiful and delicate beings, just existing to fly around and look pretty. "Personally I'd say I'd rather be a bird, but some of them aren't friendly." Jace would never forget the eagle that wouldn't stop harassing him when he first started flying around Camp, his tone grew a little resentful as he looked up at the sky and remembered that damned feathery demon.}} |

{{Aisling|| Her lip twitched in amusement, though still no laughter. "God's dove lead me to safety, as G-... I mean," she cleared her throat. The butterflies all fluttered away, sensing her angst. "A nymph named Sinclair saved me, she can become a dove." }} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM|| He was confused when she brought up God's Dove, definitely not understanding what she meant by that. "Well definitely nothing wrong with doves! I was thinking more predatory birds." Jace assumed that Aisling cared for the dove girl who saved her from whatever exactly she needed saving from. He hoped she didn't also care for some eagle nymph or something. "Like an eagle trying to peck your eye out when you're flying sucks." This statement was in a blunt, yet comedic tone. He considered it a funny incident in retrospect. "No idea what you guys can do, but if you can sprout butterfly wings or something I'd say watch out for that." Jace had no idea that children of Psyche could actually do that, he just considered it possible since butterflies were clearly important to the mind goddess.}} |

{{Aisling|| "My sister says we can, though I have yet to do so," she replied thoughtfully, "just as I have yet to see an eagle." She gave a small smile, this time one slightly more apparent. "I only learned the necessary when i did attend school.}} |

{{JaceM||"Huh. Cool." He didn't expect to accurately guess one of their powers like that, it just made sense to him since a bunch of gods gave their children the ability to fly. "Flying is a lot of fun, but it's just really scary when you just start. Cuz you're so used to being on the ground. Becomes really fun once you're used to the wind in your face." Jace spoke like the ability to fly was such a normal activity that he'd recommend to people. "As long as you can read, spell your own name and do some basic math. I'd say you're fine." It's not like Camp made people take exams or anything.}} |

{{Aisling|| She didn't reply, instead she hid her face behind her knees as a smile pulled at her lips. A part of her was still afraid that if she'd express the things she enjoyed too well, someone would rip them away from her in spite. Her green eyes peered at him from over her knees, eyes crinkled as her hidden lips spread into a grin.}} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"Uhm you nervous?" Her actions made it seem like she was shy or just hiding some sort of blush. It was hard to really tell, though the way she looked at him convinced him it was the latter. ''"Wait does she think I'm funny? cute? or both I don't know."'' Since the young man was currently trying to break out of his own shell and socialize around Camp, he noticed how he felt himself grow infatuated for some of the girls he met recently. Perhaps he was more like his father than he gave himself credit for.}} |

{{Aisling|| She shook her head, finally able to compose herself. "No... well yes," she stumbled,"but that's not why..." With a sigh, she looked to the ground. She needed to slow down in order to articulate her thoughts. Otherwise she'll fall into a stressed panic. "You're amusing."}} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"So are you." Taking it as a compliment, Jace decided to offer it right back to her. His social awkwardness made it easier for him to understand someone who just wasn't normal. It made her quirks more appealing and she definitely seemed easier to interact with. "I mostly get either annoying or weird, nice change of pace.}} |

{{Aisling|| She offered him a quick smile, one that almost resembled a smirk, or perhaps a grimace, but was so fast that many would miss it. "That's cruel," she offered empathetically. She recalled being called a demon, tormented soul, and even the whore of Babylon at times. With a tight swallow, she stood, moving to the neatly trimmed hedges that loitered the garden. Her fingers brushed across the flowers that bloomed across some of them. Each hedge she made her way to, brought her ever so closer to him. Meanwhile, he left hand held her medallion, trembling as she reminded herself of what it read. ''Be Bold''. }} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"Meh, not really a big deal." He shrugged, not really caring about the unkind things he was told about himself in the past. Jace was surprised that the girl inched closer even though it was clear his weird powers didn't work on her. "I just realized that I don't know your name, I'm Jace." The smile made it obvious he didn't mind her getting closer, but it was strange that they got into a wonderful conversation without even exchanging names.}} |

{{Aisling|| She paused, plucking a flower from its home...its life-force, and bringing it up to her nose. Her toes dug into the grass as she took in the scent of the sweet plant. She hadn't yet have to say her name since she's been here and she had to stop from responding, ''I'm patient 385''. Instead in a soft exhale, she repeated his name, "Jace." Eyes peeking up at him she offered her name, slightly louder,"Aisling."}} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"Cool name." He'd never heard anyone called such a name before, he had no idea how to spell it but he thought it sounded cool. Jace assumed the flowers had to smell lovely, but he wasn't interested in reaching out for one himself. }} |
|
+ |
{{Aisling|| Now only a few feet from him, rather than half a garden away, she sat cross legged in the grass. "Thank you," she replied sincerely. Like the flowers surrounding them, and the one in her hand, she was blooming. "It means dreamer."}} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"Is that why you were napping out here? I just picked my name cuz it sounded cool." His aunt and uncle allowed him to change his name since they knew he disliked his birth name. "Jace just rolls off the tongue doesn't it?"}} |
|
+ |
{{Aisling|| "Jace," she repeated, this time really tasting the name and feeling it out. "Mhm," she agreed with a childlike nod. Her head bobbling in agreement and a slight bit of joy that was causing flutters in her stomach. "It's nice... and I sleep out here because it's the only place I'm not plagued with memories from my past. Instead, I have dreams of the people I've met here and what the future may have in store." With a soft and evident smile. One that stuck for longer than half a second, though no more than three, she said, "Perhaps... I'll dream of you next."}} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"What do you think the future has in store? Y'know I don't think anyone ever dreamed of me before. Well far as I know." It seemed a little odd to constantly sleep outside, but whatever worked for her. He was curious of what she thought the future could hold for her.}} |
|
+ |
{{Aisling|| She yawned, arms reaching up, stretching. "Warmth," she replied in response to his question. In a smooth motion she was back on her feet. She didn't sleep at night, because it was too cold to rest in the garden, so her fatigue was returning. }} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"Warmth?" He wasn't exactly sure what she meant by that, though it seemed like it sounded positive. As she got up he couldn't tell whether she wanted to leave or something. }} |
|
+ |
{{Aisling|| "Warmth," she confirmed with a final nod, before turning on her heel to return to her cabin. Food sounded good after exhausting her social skills, although... this time was much easier than the past.}} |
|
+ |
{{JaceM||"Um see ya around then?" He supposed that their conversation was over, he got up since he might as well take his leave. Jace wished to get to know her more, he could'nt help but find her interesting.}} |
|
+ |
{{Aisling||She glanced back over her shoulder, giving him a small wave behind. "Okay," she replied, though he may have not heard. Honestly, she'd enjoy the opportunity to get to talk to him again. She never had visitors in the hospital.}} |
