Blake & Amethyst[]

  • Recap: Fast forward to 8 years later, Blake and Amethyst were still a happy, innocent couple. Surprisingly, despite getting engaged at 16, they never encountered any large problems, apart from their long distance relationship, which made their love spirit Cory thrive. Amethyst went to college to study Education, since it became her dream to teach kindergarten children. She completed her degree and worked for a year abroad. Since the son of Hades and daughter of Iris were 24 at this time, they felt like settling in together. Thus, upon hearing the news about New Athens, they transferred funds and built a home of their own.
  • Amethyst: At the moment, Amethyst was carrying a box from her car into their new home. She thought she arrived before Blake. With the evolution of technology, demigods were also allowed to send and receive messages without triggering attacks. Thus, the daughter of Iris then sent a prior text message to Blake, stating her arrival at their new home. Guess they needed to decorate their barely furnished home. "Where's Blake?" She wondered, quite excited to see her long-distance fiance.
  • Blake: He appears behind her, glancing around the house. This place isn't the size he has been used to but maybe it will work, maybe. He throws his weapons aside with a clang and lets out a sigh. "Tell me why you wanted to move here again?" He ponders, he had homes everywhere but they ended up here.
  • Amethyst: "Blakey!" Amethyst greeted in glee. She wanted to hug the shit out of him too. However, upon seeing his sad mood, the daughter of Iris frowned. Did Blake not like it here? Her people-pleasing anxiety kicked in. "Um... because... I thought we should live in together... starting now... didn't you want to?" She pouted.
  • Blake: "Well of course I do. I just wonder why here when you could've chosen anywhere in the world, I would've gone wherever you wanted to go." His words are always sharp but the son of hades always had a soft spot for his fiancee.
  • Amethyst: The cheesy line caused her to blush. Amethyst looked at the ground and back at Blake. "Umm... so mean, teasing me again." She said, inching closer to him in hopes for a large, warm hug. She truly missed her fiance, but often times, she'd act cute for his affection. "I guess... I chose this place, because it'll also be near Cory and away from monsters. That, and I'm not really sure why." The daughter of Iris was always protected by her fiance. And in times alone, she was more than capable of fighting off monsters. However, she, for some odd reason, was drawn to new Athens and its glory. Perhaps, it was time she passed on her knowledge that Apollo left a few years back.
  • Blake: He wraps his arms around her and offers her a small smile. "I guess you're right, we are closer to him and I won't have to worry about the two of you when it comes to monsters attacking." He lets out a small sigh. "I'll concede. You make a good point."
  • Amethyst: The daughter of Iris melted in his arms. Her soft heart made her tear up a little bit. She truly did miss her fiance. "Blakey" She familiarly called. "I missed you. " She snuggled herself deeper into his embrace. Once that fiasco was over, she nodded. "Well, it's time to unpack then." Of course, she expected Blake to help.
  • Blake: "I missed you too." He says as she leaves his embrace. "How many boxes did you bring?" He was curious because he felt as if his fiance was the type to pack every single thing she could.
  • Amethyst: And by that, he was right. "Maybe about... a dozen of the big ones." She grinned innocently. Her voice then lowered and her words quickened at the next sentence. "and half a dozen of small ones." Everyone could tell how excited Amethyst was to finally live permanently with her fiance. Well, that's the way it should be anyway.
  • Blake: A small sigh escapes from his lips, he wanted to be wrong but of course he wasn't. It wasn't much a of a bother to him whether she had brought one box or many, he was just naturally curious, expecting her to work against his expectations. "I'll bring everything in. You can just sit back and relax." He says as he heads toward her car.
  • Amethyst: "Nope! Nope!" Not listening, she followed him. Amethyst couldn't let Blake carry all the packages, even if he could shadow travel. She skipped beside him, humming. Their small distance proved how affectionate she was. The daughter of Iris wanted to carry as well. "That'll be too much, Blakey."
  • Blake: "It won't be, I only have to make one or two trips." He says as he stops in the front of her car, noticing how packed it is. "Three at best."
  • Amethyst: "Oh, okie!!" She beamed. "Are you hungry?" Amethyst wasn't exactly the type to sit still. She often rocked herself back and forthe due to the amount of energy.
