Ella ~ Daughter of Hephaestus
Ella.2
.
Character's Bio

-N/A
 Age: 12  Height: 5'6"
 Sexuality: Bi  Relationship Status: Single
Main Weapon: 10 Identical celestial bronze daggers. 4 on each hip and two in the back of her belt
 Accent: Neutral

Character's Powers

 ====Offensive====

  1. Children of Hephaestus have the ability to create and control fire; however, it is extremely chaotic and will burn anything near it no matter the intention of the child of Hephaestus. They can shoot fireballs, streams of fire and coat weapons in flame. The more fire summoned and controlled, the more energy is drained.

Defensive

  1. Children of Hephaestus can become resistant to all types of physical attacks for a short time.
  2. Children of Hephaestus are able to create a wall of stone, no larger than 2 to 3 times the size of the user, to temporarily block attacks

Passive

  1. Children of Hephaestus are innately extremely resistant to heat and fire.
  2. Children of Hephaestus are innately stronger and faster than others.
  3. Children of Hephaestus possess an ability to instantly understand how to use and wield any weapon they possess with no training beforehand.

Supplementary

  1. Children of Hephaestus have the ability to release heat from their hands in order to cauterize an open wound.
  2. Children of Hephaestus are able to create a smoke screen that suffocates and hinders enemies for a short time, using it to either escape or do one sneak attack
  3. Children of Hephaestus have the ability to control a single mechanical object with their mind; doing so, however, immobilizes the child of Hephaestus until control is broken. This only works on objects mechanically controlled, not objects controlled by magic.
  4. Children of Hephaestus can telekinetically move weapons under their own possession and use. They can move up to 3 large weapons at a time, such as swords, axes and hammers. Or up to 10 small weapons such as throwing stars, knives and caltrops. The longer weapons are telekinetically held, the more energy is drained.

3 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Hephaestus have the ability to curse an opponent’s weapons, armor and shields, make it softer, somewhat fragile or even rusted. This would last for a short time and make it easier for the user to attack. They can also repair weapons and armor with a thought and enchant weapons/armor to perform/defend against twice the amount of damage for a short time.

6 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Hephaestus are able to summon a humanoid automaton to fight for them for a short time, the automaton cannot be bigger than 2-3 times the size of the user. It may possess one weapon of the user’s choice and will take a basic appearance of a Greek soldier, but the user can customize their armor or facial appearance. The automaton will have no special abilities other than it’s strength, stamina and endurance. ( No powers over Electricity, Magnetism, Flight. etc) The user however has a hard time moving while the automaton is present. The automaton will follow any command of the user, after a short time the automaton will crumble and fall apart. The user will be left quite drained.

9 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Hephaestus can transform their bodies into pure metal for a short time, making them stronger and far more durable. They can also shift and transform parts of their body into weapons in this state. They also have the option to add an incredible amount of heat to their metal form, doing this would make the transformation even more draining than before. Choosing to become molten metal means the user burns anything they touch, enhancing their offensive abilities. Once the transformation is complete, the user is incredibly drained. Even moving wouldn’t be possible for a long time and they could possibly faint.

Traits

  1. Children of Hephaestus are known for making great mechanics and blacksmiths. Able to make, upgrade and repair all sorts of weapons, machines and devices including automatons, armor and transforming weaponry.
  2. Children of Hephaestus normally grow up to be excellent sculptors, stonemasons, architects, construction workers, carpenters and woodworkers.
  3. Children of Hephaestus normally feel comfortable in forges and other warm areas, making them great fire-fighters and volcanologists.

Logan Hunter ~ Son of Pan
22C5B172-200F-4B12-947D-BD22A2F8C997
.
Character's Bio

-N/A
 Age: 13  Height: 5'7"
 Sexuality: Straight  Relationship Status: Single
Main Weapon: Logan wields two long celestial bronze cerrated knives, his mothers old hunter bow, reed pipes that his father gave him at birth, and a gladius. Apollo gave the knives to Logan after his first monster attack so he could train with his mother and defend himself.
 Accent: Neutral

Character's Powers

 ===Offensive===

  1. Children of Pan can invoke woodland magic to cause a living vine, no more than twice the size of the user, to sprout from the ground and lash out at nearby opponents. The vine will wither away after a short time.
  2. Children of Pan can empower a group of animals for a short time, making them much stronger, faster, heartier and more ferocious.

Defensive

  1. Children of Pan are able to grant themselves or an ally Satyr’s Sanctuary. While someone is blessed with Satyr's Sanctuary, nearby wild animals will be compelled to come to their aid. Animals will help the person according to whatever commands the child gave when they bestowed it. The blessing lasts a few hours. The child can only have one Satyr's Sanctuary blessing given out at a time.
  2. Children of Pan can strike an opponent with a sense of panic that causes them to freeze and stop fighting for a short time. They will snap out of it if they’re attacked during the effect.

Passive

  1. Children of Pan possess an innate ability to detect and distinguish the unique "scents" given off by demigods, monsters, spirits, and other sources of mythic power.
  2. Children of Pan are able to communicate with animals.
  3. Children of Pan naturally form empathy links with people they are familiar with; this manifests as an intuition for others' emotions, sensing when they are in danger, knowing vaguely where they are, etc., even over great distances. This is unreliable and hard to do on command, but gets clearer and easier as their bond with a person grows. They can communicate telepathically through particularly strong empathy links.
  4. Children of Pan are able to channel their nature magic through a musical vessel, such as a pan flute. Their powers of nature magic are less draining when doing so.
  5. Children of Pan can perform a lengthy, ritualistic communion with nature to restore their exhaustion. On rare occasions, this can result in prophetic visions like those of oracles.

Supplementary

  1. Children of Pan can use nature magic to quickly heal minor wounds, or slowly heal major, but not fatal, wounds.
  2. Children of Pan can use nature magic to invigorate plants, making them grow rapidly. They can control how the plants grow, such as having a cluster of flowers grow around an opponent's legs to entangle them, or making roots grow into a protective dome, but plants grown in this manner will wither back to a natural shape afterward. The more control they exert, the more they are drained.
  3. Children of Pan have the gift of Tree Stride, allowing them to “step into” one tree or other plant, then seamlessly emerge from another nearby. This is effortless across short distances, but can also be used across great ranges akin to other teleportation powers, which leaves the user significantly drained.

3 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Pan are able to unleash an ear-splitting scream that instills pandemonium in a wide area. Anyone that hears the scream will be overwhelmed by fear and panic, losing the will to fight for a moderate time and likely fleeing in terror. This effect is weakened if the same target is affected multiple times in succession.

6 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Pan can invoke ancient nature magic to summon an elemental for a short time, which forms from surrounding plant life and natural elements. This powerful construct can take any shape they choose, up to five times the size of user, and obeys their will for the duration. The child must focus all their attention on controlling the elemental, and it will disappear early if they lose concentration on the spell. The child is substantially drained afterward.

9 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Pan can unleash the primal power of the wilds, covering the battlefield in an untamed natural landscape of their own design. The wilderness will appear layered over reality in an area up to a quarter mile wide. Earth and trees will form through concrete, and wildlife will appear based on the type of terrain created. The user’s powers are greatly improved and they do not tire from them at all while within the warped area. After a short time, the battlefield returns to normal without a trace, and the user is left incredibly drained. The user would not be able to move and could possibly faint.

Traits

  1. Children of Pan are a special subspecies of satyr known as the Panes. As such, they have the physical features of typical satyrs, including goatlike legs and horns.
  2. They enjoy eating recyclable material (tin, aluminium, plastic, etc.) and wood and grass.
  3. As satyrs, children of Pan biologically age at roughly half the rate of humans and do not perish of natural causes. When they die, they are reincarnated as plants, trees or flowers.
  4. As satyrs, children of Pan have extraordinary hearing and scent on par with that of most forest creatures.
  5. As satyrs, children of Pan’s caprine lower halves are generally very powerful, allowing them to jump and climb greater distances with ease.

Roleplay

Ella: I was practicing throwing my knives at a target. It had been a slow day. But I wanted to get my aim better.

Logan:  Logan was walking back from the archery range that afternoon. Afternoon lessons had ended, and it was free time for the campers. Logan thought he’d head to the arena. When he got there, he saw a pretty girl, throwing knives at the target on the wall with almost flawless accuracy. Due to him being socially isolated from people his entire life, he said in a small voice, ‘Um Hi.’

Ella: I looked over a little surprised anyone was here. After seeing a boy around my age I smile and wave. Then I notice why they're probably here. "Do you want the range to yourself? I can get out of your way if you do." I go and grab my daggers sticking them back in my belt. As I do this I ask you a question. "What's your name? I don't think I've met you yet."

Logan: ‘My names Logan, Logan Hunter.’ He said while nervously shaking her hand. ‘You can stay here if you like, it’s fine.’

Ella: "It's nice to meet you Logan! My name is Ella" I say as I let go of his hand "Are you an archer? Can I watch you shoot while I practice?"

Logan ‘yeah sure.’ He said as he summoned his Hunters’ bow. There was a target on the other side of the arena, approximately fifteen meters away. He couldn’t miss at such a short distance. He placed his feet shoulder length a part and stood with his ears facing the target. Logan then drew an arrow, knocked on the drawstring, and pulled it back so that his fingers reached the corner of his mouth. It didn’t take long for him to line it up. THWAK! The celestial bronze arrow hit the target with a thud, enough force to almost knock it over. It hit a bullseye.

Ella: I started clapping when I saw him hit the bullseye "That's amazing! Nice job" I was really impressed, I hadn't seen anyone hit a bullseye before. But I also didn't watch people shot that often. While he did that I took out one of my daggers and started practicing moving it around myself with my newly discovered mental power.

Logan:  Logan put away his bow after seeing that she was satisfied with his performance. He noticed that her belt held ten small daggers, and he looked at her with a new curiosity. ‘Show me what you can do with those.’ Logan said as he drew his two knives, spinning them in his fingers.

Ella: A gave him a small smile as I moved my arms back. I raised my hand and all 10 daggers came slowly out and moved behind my back. I moved my other hand quickly in a swiping motion to the side and 5 of the daggers followed a few inches in front of my arm. "Apparently children of Hephaestus can move small weapons with our minds. I learned this a few days ago... I've been trying to make a fighting style out of it, most people wouldn't expect it right?"

Logan:  ‘I like it, I like it a lot.’ Logan said, watching her at work with her fascinating powers. He stood with his hands behind his back, eagerly to see her skills.

Ella: I move the daggers in a circle around my back and watch as Logan paced around me. Maybe he wanted a show? I moved my left arm in a throwing motion at the dummy. Three daggers went flying into it, I whipped my arm back and the daggers flew back to me pulling the dummy with them for a moment. After the daggers came out the dummy hit the floor.

Logan:  ‘Impressive!’ Logan said in admiration. He had seen other children of Hephaestus fight, and they were very skilled. He was sure that if Ella continued to train she could become incredibly skilled, and dangerous. ‘What other skills do you have?’

Ella: "Well not much when it comes to fighting... But are you scared of fire?" I look over at you with a glint in my eye, I'm excited about something and I don't try even a little bit to hide it

Logan:  Logan was taken aback by the question. He was suprised that she had even asked it. Logan hadn’t told anyone about his life before camp, particularly cause he didn’t feel like he could trust anyone. ‘Before I arrived to camp,’ He began, ‘my only childhood friend, a wood nymph named Murtle was brutal murdered by laistrygonian giants. I killed them, but returned home only to see they had killed my mom and burnt down my cabin as well. I had no choice but to come here. Whenever I see fire, I remember that day.’ This was the first time he told anyone about his fear. It wasn’t necessarily a weakness, or a phobia, but just a memory, which fueled his anger and his hate whenever he thought about it.

Ella: "Oh..." My excitement fades and I scratch the back of my neck suddenly uncomfortable "Well it's nothing important than, I'm sorry that happened to you... I can't really understand what you're going through, I was an orphan since birth." I just shrug and put all my daggers away but one. I play around with it while avoiding eye contact.

Logan:  ‘It’s fine. You’re the first person I’ve talked to about it scince it happened. Um, well what about you?’ Logan asked, trying to break the awkwardness. ‘What was your life like before camp?’

Ella: "It was borning... And lonely." I still don't make eye contact, flipping my dagger around in my hand. "Like I told you I'm an orphan. I never knew my mother or father... Well I know who my dad is now... But I grew up being switched from home to home after I-" I stop, sighing as I put my dagger away. "Nevermind, it doesn't matter"

Logan:  “There’s nothing to be sorry about. Just remember, your not alone. Most people here grew up similar to the way you did. I was probably lucky, to be honest. But the morale is there’s always someone here that understands how your feeling. This is your family now.” He placed his hand on her shoulder and tried to give her a reassuring smile.

Ella: I smiled back a little sad, he was nice. But a large part of me was something that gave him bad memories. I'm not sure if I could ever show him that side of my powers. "It's alright, It doesn't bother me as much anymore. I know my father didn't abandon me, he just was forbidden to see me. And like you said this is my family now. I have more siblings then I could ever ask for!" I give you a big grin and close my eyes. I was a little sad that I couldn't show him my powers, but I was excited to have a family.

Logan:  “Well that’s good then.” He said, letting a warm smile touch his face. He was enjoying the girls’ company. “If you ever need someone to talk to other then your half-siplings, I got you.”

Ella: I open my eyes and smiled kindly at him. It was nice to know people other then my kin would look out for me here. "Thank you... Would you like to take a walk with me? We could go through the woods, or we could just walk around camp."

Logan:  “Sure. I’ll lead the way.’ He grinned, gesturing for the exit. It was around mid-afternoon, he estimated, so there was plenty of time before they needed to go anywhere. Logan led the way, cause he was familiar with the path. They walked together in silence.

Ella: It was nice to just walk around outside of camp, for the past week I've been stuck in camp and it's nice to get away from everything. I put my hands behind my head, walking like this was relaxing. And Logan seemed like a nice person to be around, nature seemed calm when he was there.

Logan: Their walk in the forest was plesent. He enjoyed listening to the sounds of the forest. It reminded him of his old home back in Colarado. While he was remembering fondly a small brown rabbit scuttled out from the bushes, exchanging a greeting. It was an eastern cottontail, the most common rabbit species in North America. Logan crouched, letting the rabbit climb up his jacket sleeve. He turned towards Ella, holding the rabbit in his arms. “You can pat it if you like.” He began. “Their favourite spot is in between their ears.”

Ella: I looked from Logan to the rabbit with a bit of shock on my face "Are you sure...?" I slowly reached over and scratched the rabbit where Logan said to, between its ears. It was so soft... I grew up by the woods too, and often went into them. But no animal had ever let me pet them before. I felt so happy inside. But as I was petting it I heard a loud snap somewhere to the left of us. With my hand still on the rabbit, I turned towards the noise.

Logan:  Logan snidpffed the air. His five senses were enhanced in his satyr form, and even more in the wild. ‘Mymekes.’ He began, with a bitter taste in his mouth. ‘Giant ant things that spit poison. Easy to defeat when there’s only a few, but they are dangerous in packs.’ He already had an arrow notched onto his bowstring. ‘There’s a cave nearby. They must be getting food. They only leave the cave every hundred years, so I guess you could say we’re a bit unlucky.’ A Mymeke scuttled out from behind the trees, leaning back to salivate some poison. It reminded him of a bulldog, the way it was dripping its saliva down its horizontal fang-like mouth. Logan didn’t hesitate. He had trained for this time. Within an instant, two arrows were launched, embedding themselves into his fangs. It scuttled back behind the tree to inform the others of his pack that he had found food, and they returned, surrounding the two half-bloods. ‘Let’s dance.’

Ella: I smile as I grab two of my daggers, excitement filling my body and get close to the ground preparing to dodge an attack, while I do this I use my powers to pull three more daggers from my belt and throw them at the eye of a Mymeke. One hits the eye as the other two fly into its face.

Logan:  Logan smiles. ‘These beasts are susceptible to extreme temperatures,‘ he said in between shots with his bow. ‘You might want to try fire.’ A shot of poison flicked onto his hand. He wanted to clutch in pain but he forced himself to hold it together, butting his bow away and drawing the gladius that he kept at his belt. ‘The underside of their armour is much weaker than their top side,’ he spat. ‘You’ll get more luck hitting them their.’

Ella: I jumped a little and looked at you with surprise. "How do you know about the fire?" As I asked that, a Mymeke bit at me, I jumped back. Its pinchers cutting one of my arms. I glared at it and dropped one of my daggers, but as it fell I swung my good arm up and my dagger flew up into the bottom of the Mymekes head.

Logan:  ‘My mom taught me all about monsters so I could protect myself,’ He paused his sentence as summoned a living vine to push one of the Mymekes onto it’s back, giving him an opening to thrust his Gladius into its underside. ‘These things have more weaknesses then a dog with no legs.’ One of the larger ants chomped at a tree with its large jaws, letting it fall in their direction, attempting to crush their prey. But The two half bloods were not nearly as gullible as anyone that had ever lost to the tactic. They stepped out of the way of the tree, hitting the ground with a thud

Ella: I gave a sigh of relief, he only knew their weakness... He didn't know that I could shoot fire. A Mymeke shot its poison at me, I rolled and dodged it, but one of my daggers got caught in it and started to denigrate. "Damn it..." I mumble quietly to myself... I look over to you, both of us still surrounded by Mymekes. "Do you trust me enough to close your eyes for a second?" If I did do this I'd have to be careful, as to not cause the incident again. But I didn't want us to get hurt fighting these things

Logan:  They were standing back to back, and the monsters were closing in. ‘Just… work your magic.’ He held his gladius in front of him while cursing in Ancient Greek. ‘Lets take care of this before their reinforcements arrive.’

Ella: I sighed deeply looking over my shoulder at you. You were looking at the Mymekes on your side. I looked back at three of the ones on my side and glared at them. I focused some of my energy into making a wall behind them, it wasn't that tall, but it surrounded all of them. It should be enough to stop what I'm about to do from spreading to the forest. Then my hands became coated in fire. "You might not want to look at this!" I raised both my hands and shot fire at the three Mymekes facing me.

Logan:  Logan watched the sight behind him in awe as the Mymekes shriveled up into burnt remains. My turn. Logan reached inside of him, remembering his training. The mymekes became frozen with panic, unable to move. He reached into the ground mental, summoning vines to wrap around the ants, pulling them down into the ground, suffocating them into the dirt. The six final ants had been defeated. ‘We’re dome here. We should leave before more come, and it’s around dinner.’ He looked at the horizon, estimating the approximate time. ‘I have a friend that lives in these woods that can take us back faster. He’s helped me a lot in the past.’

Ella: I go back and collect my daggers. "What kind of friend? If it's an animal it might not like me... I do smell like fire after all." I pick up my daggers and put them back into my belt. Making a mental note to re-make the one that got denigrated.

Logan:  Logan simply gave a toothy grin. He had already called Narccis, and he could he the hooves cantering in the grass coming from a distance, getting louder by the seconds. They waited for almost twenty seconds, before the majestic stag submerged. Ah, Logan. It’s been a while. The stag said to Logan telepathicly. ‘We’re gonna need a quick ride back to camp if you don’t mind buddy.’ Anything for a friend. He said, before directing his wet nose towards Ella. Who’s she? She smells of burnt pizza and metal. Narrcis had always claimed to have a great sense of smell. ‘She’s a friend. And she’s coming with us, assuming you can carry us both-‘ I’m the strongest stag in North America! I can carry anything! The stag cut off Logan sentence with a proud boast. ‘That’s what I thought.’ Logan wrapped his arms around Narrcis’ neck, allowing him to swing himself onto its back. He let ou his hand for Ella to take it.

Ella: I gave Logan a weird look as I took his hand. One, he was talking to some kind of deer, but that could just be because of his godly parent, clearly he has a strong connection to animals. Two... What did he mean assuming you can carry her I don't weigh that much...  I pulled myself onto the deer with Logans help.

Logan:  Narrcis took off without much of a warning. Logan had to admit, it was extremely hard to keep balance on the deer with out falling off, due to them going at such a speed. Logan felt one with him. The stag always had enhanced abilities when Logan was present. A couple minutes later, Narrcis’ hooves clipped onto the camp, probably twenty metres from the cabins. This is as far as I can go master. If you ever need me to come to the rescue, you count on me. Logan couldn’t tell if he was winking or not. ‘Thanks man, and how many times do I tell you, don’t call me master. We are equals in this forest.’

Ella: It was a little hard to stay on the deer, but it was really fun. After we stopped Logan started talking to it again, I got off without saying anything to him and took a few steps forward looking at the sky, the sun was starting to set. I wonder if anyone would notice if I skipped dinner to go make a new dagger...

Logan:  ‘So..’ Logan said awkwardly. ‘We should do that again sometime, I think we make a pretty dynamic duo.’ They stood there by the cabins, with the afternoon sun going to sleep. The feint sound of Narrcis’ hooves scooping up grass and kicking up dust, returning back to is home in the forest.

Ella: I was standing there lost in thought when Logans words brought me back to reality. "I thought it was pretty fun." I put my hands in my pockets. "But are you sure you want to stick with me, from what I can tell your powers revolve around nature. And my powers revolve around fire and technology." I was a little sad as I said this, but it was the truth.

Logan:  Logan was surprised by Ella’s statement. From what he knew, Hephaestus and Pan, didn’t really involve with each other, let alone befriends or enemies. He knew where she was coming from, but even if they did have a bad relationship it wouldn’t stop them from being friends. ‘Our parentage is no reason for us not to be friends, and unless you set me on fire then I want you as an ally.’ He let asoft smile climb his face.

Ella: I laugh awkwardly as he said this "Yea it was kind of a dumb thought, wasn't it?" I rub the back of my neck "And I'll try not to burn you, but no promises." I said the last part as a joke and gave a wink. But afterwards I walked up to Logan and put my hand on their shoulder. "In all seriousness, I'm glad you're my friend. It was an honor fighting by your side."

Logan:  Logan felt butterflies climbing up his stomach. ‘Same to you. You fought really well for a newbie.’ He smiled at her.

Ella: I remove my hand and laugh "Well thanks! It comes kinda natural to me!" It felt nice to have a bond like this, I might not have known Logan long but I felt really close to them.

Logan:  He blushed before drawing his attention to the cut on her arm. ‘Do you want me to heal that?’ He asked gesturing towards the cut. ‘I’m pretty good With healing.’

Ella: I look at the cut and shrug "I was just going to cauterize it so it didn't get infected. And then eat some Ambrosia..." I looked the cut over quietly "If you want you can heal it. But don't waste your energy on it."

Logan:  ‘Oh okay.’ He scratched his head. ‘Well, I think I might go hit the hay early but I’ll see you tomorrow.’ He pointed finger guns and winking.

Ella: I blushed lightly and turned around hoping he wouldn't see. "See you later!" I wave goodbye before walking down to the forge.

Logan:  ‘Bye!’ He waved before turning back to the Hermes’ cabin

Ella: After I walked into the forge I went into a cabinet and grabbed a small piece of Ambrosia from the emergency supplies, I put it in my pocket. I reached over with my hand and warmed up my hand enough to cauterize the cut. It was a lot harder to do then I realized. It didn't burn me at all, and it didn't hurt. I sighed and just ate the small piece of Ambrosia. Then I started to work on re-making my dagger.

The Next Morning

Logan:  It was the next day, and breakfast had just ended. Like usual, Logan would give an offering to Apollo and eat with his cabin-mates. He was walking on his way to the edge of the forest, where he preferred to train, cause he would be able to practice his powers in his combat. He was walking past the forge when he saw a familiar face. Ella was snoring softly with her face on the workbench, next to the vice. It looked like there was a half-completed dagger on the workbench, which Logan thought could be a hazard. He walked over and nudged her shoulder with his hand.

Ella: I felt something nudging me softly. I shifted and snuggled closer into my arms. Then I got nudged again. Whos in my cabin nudging me? I looked up sleeply and rubbed my eyes, when they came into focus I was not in my room. And in fact, Logan was standing next to me. I felt my face go warm as I looked around "Did... Did I fall asleep?"

Logan:  ‘Yeah you did. Missed breakfast.’ He said, looking at the drowsy form before him. He reached into one of the pouches on his belt, and pulled out a white cube, like a sugar cube. ‘Eat up sunshine.’

Ella: I took the cube and ate it without much thought, I reached over and picked up my half-finished dagger and strapped it to my belt. Then after that, I felt my face go red as I processed what Logan said. My head whipped towards him. "What did you call me!?" I choked

Logan:  ‘Uh, I called you sunshine, you know… uhh forget it.’ He said while scratching his head. ‘What is gave you is called a nutrient cube. My mom used to give them to me in the winter whenever we were snowed in and ran out of food. It should keep you full till midday.’

Ella: "Oh ok... Well thanks" My face was still slightly red as I stood up "What were you planning on doing this morning?"

Logan:  ‘Um, well I was going to go into the forest to train.’ He answered. ‘Wanna come? I can teach you a few things.’

Ella: "Sure, I don't really have anything better to do... And I don't want to face someone's rath because I slept in the forge all night..." I say while giving a little laugh and shrugging.

Logan:  “that’s great then!” Logan said in excitement. “Go get your stuff and we can meet at the treelike in half an hour. How does that sound?”

Ella: "Well I have everything already... I went straight here after the fight with the monsters yesterday" I stand and brush myself off "So I'll just head there now, if you have something you want to do first that's fine by me"

Logan:  ‘Well let’s get going!’ Logan replied cheerfully. They walked the same way they came. ‘You probably won’t have to worry about monsters, but if we find any, it’s a good learning opportunity.’ They eventually made it to the destination. There was two tree stumps, next to a burnt out camp fire. Some trees had targets carved into them, with marks resembling where arrows had hit. ‘This is where I like to train. I find that having a quiet space like this allows me to focus, and clear my mind.’ He sat on one of the stumps, and gestured towards Ella. ‘I want to see your stance again. If you want to create your own style, we need to know it’s pros and cons.’

Ella: "Alright" I take got two of my daggers with my hands, then with my mind I pull the other six out to be behind my back, I leave the non-finnished one on my belt, along with one more in the back, in case I ever needed to surprise someone with one more. I get into my fighting stance, legs slightly apart and bent, right arm in front of me, left arm out a little ready to block an attack. Then after a second I look over to Logan to see if he has any input.

Logan:  He nodded in satisfaction while analysing Ella’s stance. ‘Try having your left hand in front. I wanna see how you go with a classic boxing stance at first. Out of all the types of martial arts that I’ve learned, I’ve found the boxing stance most effective. It leaves you with a good defence, and if your technique is good enough, then you can get away with using almost any attack.’ Logan informed.

Ella: I did as Logan said, it felt weird, I had always just gone by instinct before. I look over at Logan again "Who thought you about fighting stances? You seem to know a lot"

Logan:  “My mom taught me the basic stance, and I did heaps of research in different martial arts to find what I thought was most effective.” Combat was Logan’s favourite topic. ‘It’ll feel kinda weird at first, but the more you do it the more you’ll get used to it.” He tried to reassure.

Ella: I smile at him and relax "Yea that's kinda what I figured, fighting comes kinda natural to me, but that's how I was with forging things. I was scared to do it at first, and I didn't think I'd be able to make anything, but after I got into it it was really fun and easy."

Logan:  “That’s good. Today I think that we should work primarily on defence.” He informed while studying Ella. “Unlike a good sword, your knives lack length and leverage, generally meaning that knife fighters like us need to find a substitute for that- another scource of leverage. This is what I plan to teach you today.” He met her eyes. “Any questions before we start?”

Ella: "Do you think I could substitute the length with my floating ability?" I ask as I rase my daggers above my head from behind me.

Logan “I’m sure that you could, but before you try that, I would like to teach you a different technique to block a sword attack.”

Out of Roleplay conversation

Endrena: Do you want to duel me...? I'm confused about what you're going for here

Tom: if you don’t want to that’s fine and I can change it. Canged t.

Endrena: Well it's alright, but please ask her if you want to duel, I didn't really understand. And Ella only has natural skill in combat, which is a lot considering she's a child of Hephaestus... But you'd still probably win. They have skill in any weapon and how to use it, but a fighter trained in combat is going to win. Children of Hephaestus just have basic knowledge on how to wield any weapon... And Ella's only been here about 5 days

Tom:  yea sorry bout that.

Endrena: It's completely ok! Please just try to specify next time, but it's not a problem :3

Endrena: Should a monster attack? That's what I was planning on happening but only if you want to do that as well

Tom:  I like that idea. What monster are you thinking of? I suggest a pack of Mymekes getting food, considering that they have a cave outside the border of the camp. That’s just an idea.

Endrena: I love that idea!

Endrena: Want to let the night pass? Or what's the plan now?

Tom:  I was just gonna do the next morning, but I don’t really know what they should do. Have any suggestions?

Endrena: Well Ella is going to go to bed late because she's working on her dagger. In fact I was going to have her fall asleep in the forge. I'm not sure what they could do... We could have them train together, or perhaps go somewhere?

Tom:  Maybe Ella falls asleep in the forge and misses breakfast, and Logan takes her to the edge of the forest, and teaches some techniques with her knives?

Endrena: That sounds like a good idea! I'll do that then. (Just do your part, whether you just want it to be you going to bed or all the way to when you wake up is fine with me :3)
