Children of Hephaestus can transform their bodies into pure metal for a short time, making them stronger and far more durable. They can also shift and transform parts of their body into weapons in this state. They also have the option to add an incredible amount of heat to their metal form, doing this would make the transformation even more draining than before. Choosing to become molten metal means the user burns anything they touch, enhancing their offensive abilities. Once the transformation is complete, the user is incredibly drained. Sera: Since the little refusal from the new girl and defeat at the hands of the double Hecate kids, Sera had thrown herself into her training. Training from about six in the morning to nine at eight was her usual schedule daily, with two twenty minute breaks set aside for eating. She was currently standing at the beach, mediating with her eyes closed to calm her body before turning back to her combat training.
Zack: Zack was trying to find something to do. He had done all his requirements back at the cabin, and now he was walking down to the sea. Zack didnt exactly like water, but he didnt hate it. It was calming. But bieng a son of Hephaestus and all, it made it much harder to enjoy the water the way other campers did. Finally he reached the sand. There was a few Posiedon children splashing in the surf, but besides that there was only one person there, standing close to where the tide came in.
Sera: She took one final calming breath before turning around to walk back to the arena, striding past Zack before stopping and turning to look at the orange-haired boy. "Are you new?"
Zack: Zacks red eyes were bright in the sun, he was surprised she even took time to talk to him. After all, why would anyone waste time talking to him? But he still responded with "Oh, yea. I'm new. Uh names Zack, you?" He may have been shy, but he still wanted to make friends.
Sera: She pursed her lips slightly. "I'm Sera. Pleased to meet you, Zack. Who's your parent?"
Zack: "The father of the Forges, Hephaestus," He answered. "I'm don't exactly look like it though, i'm not all bulky like the other normal ones are," he said grimly. In anxiousness, he started fiddling with some tools.
Sera: She shrugged. "Physical appearance doesn't exactly mean you're normal, I mean, look at the Seven. Leo saved them and he was probably the scrawniest out of all of them, so don't think that your physical stature will stop you from being the best person you can be, alright?" Sera rested her hand on her knife hilt on her hip, adjusting her position to look at Zack better.
Zack: He thought about that guy Leo. He had heard the stories, but wasn't sure if he was real or not. Zack let out a sigh. "Yea I guess your right..."He didn't realize the machine he was fiddling with had took off into the air, the shape of a drone, and was firing nails and screws at random people. Zacks eyes widened. "Oh gods!"
Sera: She threw out a hand, summoning one of her tornados and sent it after the drone. The nails and screws were picked up by the sharp petals as Sera flicked her wrist, sending the tornado one way and the drone back to Zack. Her near-exhausted state made her drop to her knees as she panted. "B-Better?"
Zack: After recovering from astonishment, Zack stared at Sera. He shook his head. "Uh yea, yea much better. But you didn't have to spend all that energy just for that" He said. Zack kneeled down, face of concern. He studied her, trying to figure out how he could help.
Sera: She took a few deep breaths, nodding. "Y-Yeah. I just sort of have been exhausting myself lately."
Zack: "Well you shouldn't be. Its good to train, but push it to far, and you really make yourself worse." Zack spoke from expierence, a story he'd rather not tell. He held out his hand to help her up.
