Willa n Valerie[]

  • Willa: She was at the Archery Range, trying to perfect her skills. Or, okay, maybe perfect wasn't the word, so much as trying to at least hit the target. She was failing miserably, but at least the attempt was still there. "Because apparently close-ranged weapons aren't enough," she mutters, to herself, her voice dripping with annoyance. She'd much rather be at the gym than here.
  • Valerie: Seemed as though the Ares cabin and Hecate's cabin had the same idea in training today, leading to both cabins sharing the range. While Valerie was moderately OK with a bow she wasn't the best and most of her arrows flew past it's target, leaving her with a small frown - magic was her specialty after all.
  • Willa: As of right now, it's not among her priorities to look at the people around her and see how they're doing. Willa is trying to focus on her target, to shoot arrows and at least hit the target. Does that mean she'd doing a good job at it? No, it doesn't, and it's irritating her. She takes in a deep, steadying breath, and steps back for someone else to have a go at it. If she stays with the bow in hand, she might actually do something she may or may not regret later on. "Fuckin' hell," she mutters under her breath as she distances herself a little from the range.
  • Valerie: By this point, Valerie was able to hit the bulls eye a few time and thought that she was done for the day. Without notifying her counselor or anyone else she began walking off, in the direction of Willa. Suddenly though, Valerie heard her name being called out from behind hre and as a result she turned around, leading to her attention being averted and her body running straight into that of another female. "Oh gods... I'm so sorry." Valerie voiced as she took a step back, not yet fully looking at the girl.
  • Willa: She was in a bad enough mood - she didn't need a clumsy camper running right into her. Immediately a scowl forms on her features, and she sighs heavily, as though she was deeply bothered by the situation. "Yeah, whatever," Willa mutters, voice dripping with annoyance. Much like Valerie, she hadn't been paying close attention to her. Until she figured she should at least attempt to be somewhat polite. And that's when she saw her face. Literally. "What... the genuine fuck," she deadpans.
  • Valerie: Valerie stared at the girl before her and did just that - stared. She had no words. What where you supposed to say when you run into someone who looks exactly like yourself? "You took the word right out of my mouth." Valerie finally voiced though she was still in a state of shock. "Who are you?" For a moment, the daughter of Hecate moved her hand to see if the being in front of her would do the same - as if a mirror but, nothing happened and that only confirmed that she was even crazier than she thought.
  • Willa: Truth be told, Willa wasn't sure what she was supposed to do. Should she check out her sanity levels with the Dionysus Cabin? She doubted she was hallucinating, unless she'd unwittingly exposed herself to some form of poison recently, which she thoroughly doubted. She frowns. She opens her mouth, but then closes it again upon further thought. "Who are you?" she asks, defensively. "And why do you have my face?"
  • Valerie: Valerie caught onto the other girls defensive attitude and while yes she would probably act in a similar manner, she decided to take the high road. This was a special occaion after all. "Valerie Fairchild, Daughter of Hecate." She answered with a small pause. "Now, who are you and why do you have my face?"
  • Willa: Willa looks thoroughly unimpressed by the closing statement. She crosses her arms over her chest and gives Valeria a once-over. That's... that's definitely her face. Not exactly the same body, but not too far, either. And - is that how her butt looks? Because if so, she has an even better butt than she originally thought. "Willa Clayton, daughter of Ares," she says, a little tersely. "I don't have your face. You have my face."
  • Valerie: This conversation was getting rather frustrating for the daughter of Hecate. Usually she was able to stay level headed and calm but, the situation just didn't make sense. Long lost twin? was the first thing to cross Valerie's mind but, the girl was a daughter of Ares so, how could that be? "Ok look, i'm not sure what's happening but, this has been my face since birth." the demititan could tell that Willa was examining her body and to be honest, Valerie couldn't blame her. The chance to see your own body outside a mirror was pretty damn rare.
  • Willa: "Except I have, too," Willa frowns. She runs a hand through her hair, while she tries to wrap her mind around this stressful encounter. She doesn't have a twin; she just doesn't. Even if her mother is or was a junkie, or an alcoholic, they'd need to have the same father, too, and - well, they just don't. She crosses her arms petulantly. She wants to know why they have the same face. "Maybe your mortal parent was cursed?" she offers.
  • Valerie: The thought of her mortal parent crossed her mind for a second and it came out blank. Valerie never had the pleasure or displeasure of meeting her mortal parent so, she had no idea. She always assumed he had died or just didn't want her. "i don't have a mortal parent... Not one that i know anyways." Valerie stated. "I was raised by the goddess Circe so, it's a possibility that might be the reason." She was ready to accept that answer but, her need to know the unknown stopped her. "What about you? Any curses?"
  • Willa: She has a feeling Circe has a lot to do with the fact that they share a face, but she entertains the notion of her being potentially cursed. Thinking long and hard, Willa comes in blank, and so she shakes her head. "Not me. My mother was a junkie and an alkie. I'm a street rat through and through, from the lower east side. There's no way it's me," Willa says. "I'm pretty fuckin' problematic, but not to the point I'd get cursed."
  • Valerie: Maybe she shouldn't have mention Circe so early in the conversation, now the girl probably thought the goddess had something to do with their similar appearances. Who was she kidding, they look exactly alike. "Well first off, i haven't pissed off anyone enough to get curse either and second, is it really a curse if we look like this." She knew the seriousness of the situation but, she couldn't help but wanna lighten the mood. Her life was already one hell of a mess, the only way Valerie was gonna get through this was to try and lighten it up.

Celosia n Adéle[]

  • Celosia: It had just been her second day and while Celosia wasn't to keen on going out and running into more people, her empty cabin was beginning to bore her. With that set in mind, the daughter of Aetna made her way around camp and tried to get a feel of where everything was.
  • Adéle: As one of the newest campers, nobody had yet picked up a fight with the daughter of Nemesis. She was fairly certain somebody would eventually, but not yet, and so she decided to enjoy her peace before she went into war. (Come on, she was sure it'd happen eventually. The Aphrodite kids alone looked like vicious vipers.) Philippe was who knows where, thus leaving her to venture through camp alone. She was tugging at her earlobe absentmindedly, thinking back on her wings. Her wings. Ugh, four years and she still wasn't used to it. Her wings.
  • Celosia: With every step she took, people began to stare at her and Celosia knew why. She was the second Aetna child to show up at camp and the camper must have been curious. Either that or they were scared of her but, Celosia didn't really care - she actually would have enjoyed knowing they were scared of her. With that in mind, the demigoddess continued on her way, paying no attention to the campers. It wasn't until she came across a blonde that she stopped and decided to start a conversation. "Oh Ale...." Her voice faltered as she noticed the blonde wasn't who she thought she was and a light blush came across her cheeks. "Sorry about that, I thought you were someone else."
  • Adéle: Adéle hadn't been paying much attention to the direction in which she was walking, hence why she was so startled to have been approached, let alone addressed. When she did check herself out, she made a brief expression of annoyance mixed with panic. She'd wanted to avoid all social interactions with anyone for now. Ugh, ugh, ugh, she thinks, distressed. "Yeah, I noticed," she snickers. "I'm Adéle, though. Daughter of Nemesis, and most likely cooler than whoever you were looking for."
  • Celosia: Celosia gazed at the girl and gave a small smile. "Yeah, your definitely not her." She responded as she remembered Alexia, a shy girl who would have never responded to the daughter of Aetna in such a manner. "I apologize for interrupting." She pause and looked around for a second. "What ever it was that you were doing."
  • Adéle: Adéle doesn't know whether to feel disappointed or relieved at the look in Celosia's eyes and the tone of her voice. She nods her head. "Yeah, it's fine," she says dismissively. "I was walking. Pretty sure that's at least somewhat obvious," she snorts. "No real destination, though. Not like I know where anything is, considering I'm new and literally don't know my right from my left," the daughter of Nemesis sighs, clearly disgruntled by her disorientation in terms of directions within camp.
  • Celosia: Celosia examined the girl, from head to toe, and quiet obviously at that. "I guess you could say we are in the same boat, I'm probably just as new as you are." Celosia stated while giving a small smile. "I tried finding the training grounds and ended up at the beach, this camp is quiet confusing."
  • Adéle: "Better than looking for the Dining Pavilion and ending up in the boys' bathroom," Adéle winces, especially as the memories begin to resurface. Despite being very much so bi, she has to admit walking into the guys' bathroom unannounced is more of a scarring experience than a joyful one. "It's a relief knowing I'm not the only one that finds this camp oh-so confusing, though," she laughs lightly. "It's like a labyrinth."
  • Celosia: "Oh god, i can't imagine how embarrassed those boy must have felt " Celosia voiced, the image of a dozen naked boys showering popping into her mind it made her shutter. "A Labyrinth? i supposed... If a labyrinth were full of hormonal teenagers." She chuckled.
  • Adéle: "The boys? Imagine how I felt! Honestly, I don't know how people are attracted to dudes. Even as a bisexual, I have to admit it. Sure dicks are fun and all that, but... ugh, they reek of toxic masculinity and testosterone," Adéle cringes and shakes her head, trying to liberate herself from the mental image. "A labyrinth of hormonal teenagers sounds about right. It includes lots of sex, definitely. I came across these two guys the other day, and - well, you don't want to know what they were doing," she rolls her eyes.
  • Celosia: Adéle was right, Celosia didn't wanna know what they were doing but, she couldn't help but chuckle. "I've run into my fair share of strange things since i've gotten to camp... that of which should not be said out loud." It was here that realization smacked Celosia in the face and she began to speak once more. "I'm sorry, you introduced yourself early and i didn't..." She paused for a second to smile at the girl. "I'm Celosia, Daughter of Aetna."
