In the Forest
Robyn: Walking around her familiar surroundings, Robyn found her tree a few ways away from the lake. She climbed it and sat on one of the large branches. There, on the base of the tree, were little carvings of images. All of them were tiny depictions of her favorite memories of her small family.
JonahK: He is sitting on a branch of a steardy tree, he is reading a Harry Potter book and sips his morning coffee as his eyes glance at each word, tracing each word with a smile on his face.
Robyn: Humming softly to a tune that was playing on the radio this morning, Robyn continued to draw on her tree. Knowing she was causing the tree harm, Robyn healed it every time to make it stronger than before. She sighed and rested her forehead against the trunk, not noticing the boy sitting nearby.
Jonah: He yawned and decided to go back to his Cabin before dinner but accidentally fell out of the low branch, he suffered a few bruises and scars from the fall but is fine otherwise.
Robyn: Her head snapped up immediately at the sounds. "Hello? Who's there?" That casualness was short-lived. "I'm armed!" She climbed down the tree, jumping the last few feet almost silently onto the ground. She held her knife with her elbow jutting outward expertly and made her way toward the source.
Jonah: He quickly dusted the dirt from his clothes and straightened it out and groaned when he saw the bruises. His eyes widen when he sees Robyn heading straight for him with a weapon in hand. "What are you doing?" He said, his eyebrows high on his forehead.
Robyn: Robyn lowered her weapon and acknowledged him with a nod. "I could ask you the same thing." Some of her Dutch accent seeped out as she spoke, but she didn't care nor notice. "I'm no harm unless you are." She said, tucking her dagger back into it's sheath on her belt. The realization hit her and she began to laugh, "Did you, did you fall out of a tree?"
Jonah: He turns bright red and awkwardly strokes his hair back, "No I didn't." He rolls his eyes then picks himself up. "Who are you anyway, I'm pretty sure you're a camper?"
Robyn: "No I'm a wizard." It took her a few more seconds to calm down from her laughing high before she extended her hand toward him. "Robyn Baas," she said through her laughs, "daughter of Cybele."
Jonah: His face is still pink from embarassment, "Nice to meet you Robyn, I'm Jonah a son of Tyche." He laughs in humor and takes her hand, shaking it gently. "Ironic since I just fell from a tree..."
Robyn: Jonah's comment made her laugh harder and double over, her humor just over the top extreme. She tried to stop, but only succeeded in laughing harder and falling to the ground, hugging her already pained stomach from the muscle movement. "I-I'm HAHAHA sorry~" She attempted to say, but most of it was wavy sounds through the forest air.
Jonah: He rolled his eyes, "I guess I'm pretty unlucky today." He sighs, "If you're a daughter of Cybele, aren't you all about protecting animals? You shouldn't go around and threaten people."
Robyn: Robyn giggled her final laughs out and covered her mouth with the back of her hand. "Yeah, i-t's," she couldn't help but laugh a bit more as she spoke, "different. Humans are animals, but yes, I agree they shouldn't be hunted." Robyn gave him a serious look. "I read a fictional story about a man who hunted humans for fun." She hummed in thought before speaking again, "At least I hope it was fictional." She wiggled her eyebrows.
Jonah: He laughed in humor, "Well it is real life, some people treat humans as animals and slave them for their own sake."
Robyn: She shivered involuntarily and grimaced. "Ew don't even get me started on those hypocrites. Please, they'd be better students than teachers to their own children." Robyn rolled her eyes and crossed her arms at the thought of people who still did that in today's society.
Jonah: "About 27 million people are slaves today- this is crazy especially since we had a war to fight it in the 1800's, society is disgusting. Sometimes I think that people should follow human rights but you know people don't listen." He lightly tossles his hair and looks at Robyn with a grim smile.
Robyn: She held a hand up. "Don't even go there. I have too much to say and I'd rather not bore you with what I think at the moment." Robyn ran a hand through her hair before placing her hands on her hips. "How about instead of these topics, we grab some food and talk about other stuff?" She suggested with a small smile.
Jonah: "Sure, I'd rather talk about other things than the world's most controversial topics." He shyly stiffened a laugh.
Robyn: She smiled at him in amusement. A bit of her Dutch accent leaked through her voice, forgetting to keep her voice fluently English. "Food then? I'm pretty hungry."
Jonah: He grinned at the sound of her delicate accent, blushing a bit. "Y-Yeah sure, I'm hungry too! Where do you want to go?"
Robyn: "Anywhere?" Robyn offered him a shy grin and scratched the back of her head. "I haven't really explored out of camp much yet sooo I don't really know any definite places.
