Character's Powers

 Powers of a Child of Hecate (Note: 3/6/9 powers have NOT been unlocked):

  1. Children of Hecate have the ability to fire an intense beam of magical energy which will burn anything it touches. The ability can also be focused into small magical bullets, which have better range but are less damaging than a beam.
  2. Children of Hecate have the ability to use magic to electrically charge something made of metal for a short time.
  3. Children of Hecate are able to create a protective dome of magical energy around them for a short time.
  4. Children of Hecate are able to become ethereal in form for a short time, which temporarily causes all attacks to go through them. In this state, they cannot attack an opponent and if they do their ethereal state will dissipate instantly.
  5. Children of Hecate have the innate ability to see in all directions at once.
  6. Children of Hecate are innately stronger at night.
  7. Children of Hecate are able to communicate with the dead to gather information.
  8. Children of Hecate are adept at making potions and elixirs, however potions used in battle cannot be overly powerful or altering to the events of the battle. Potions that can automatically heal all wounds or restore all energy are examples of over-powered potions. Only descendants of Hecate/Circe and Lampades can create potions. Overconsumption of potions can result in overdose symptoms and some potions could have side-effects or not work at all.
  9. Children of Hecate can conjure spells to teleport themselves and allies. The further the distance, the more energy drained.
  10. Children of Hecate can cast a levitation spell on themselves for a short time which will allow them to fly, the longer they levitate the more power it drains. The spell can also be used items and enemies.
  11. Children of Hecate are able to use some healing spells to quickly heal minor wounds and slowly heal major wounds. Fatal wounds cannot be healed.
  12. Children of Hecate typically love the magical arts, many of them are known for writing spellbooks. Her children have created/re-introduced and improved spells and techniques all over history.
  13. Necromancy is commonly a favored magical art among children of Hecate.
  14. Children of Hecate are known for being quite mysterious.
  15. Children of Hecate are often more active and exhibit better moods at night and in dark environments.
  16. Children of Hecate wield innate knowledge and understanding of the Mist.

  1. Children of Nike are able to channel their energy with and create a link to an object, can be a weapon or a sports related item, which causes their next attack with this object to be two times more powerful. Once used, it can not be used again on the object for the remainder of the fight and it drains the user somewhat.
  2. Children of Nike are able to clap their hands so hard and fast due to their enhanced strength that it sends a small shock-wave out. The shock-wave generates enough force to knock an opponent off their feet and possibly leaves bruises on their skin.


Defensive

  1. Children of Nike can become resistant to all types of physical attacks for a short time.
  2. Children of Nike are able to increase their speed and stealth in short bursts, making them faster than most and undetectable for a short time. However, they cannot have a weapon drawn so the speed is purely for evasion.


Passive

  1. Children of Nike are innately proficient in most forms of combat and hold a higher state of physical prowess. They wield higher levels of strength, speed, endurance and stamina than the average human.
  2. Children of Nike have innate reflexes which allow them to fight and dodge quickly.
  3. Children of Nike have the ability to predict the path of projectiles and dodge them, as well as identifying the weak points of opponents. This ability does not always work and could mislead the user, leaving them open to attacks.
  4. Children of Nike wield an amazing amount of willpower and fighting spirit, allowing them to partially resist any attempt to control their mind and resist any urge to surrender or quit.

Supplementary

  1. Children of Nike have the inhuman ability to leap great distances and perform dodge-rolls with ease, which can aid the user with dodging and attacking.
  2. Children of Nike have the ability to empower strength upon nearby allies and instill fear upon nearby enemies with a deafening war cry.
  3. Since their mother was depicted as a winged goddess, children of Nike can sprout wings for a short time, this enables them to fly; the longer they maintain this state, the more energy it drains. They must rest between flights and cannot make long distance traveling without resting often. However the wings are vulnerable to injuries and magic; they can also be customized to the user’s preference.
  4. Children of Nike can create a false illusion of what their opponent needs to do to achieve victory for a short time. This can cause an opponent to attempt foolish strategies that work against them and gives the user a chance to attack or flee.

3 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nike have the capability to fluidly move around on both land and air making the environment their playground allowing them to kick off almost any surface and air dash across moderate distances, swing around lampposts, maneuver their motion while airborne and grind along rails and battle enemies with speed, agility and style. Using this ability, the user can easily use their environment to their advantage, such as running up walls to escape enemies.

6 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nike have the power to turn an opponent’s semi-living construct and/or animal ally against them by inducing a powerful desire for victory and the idea that only the user can provide it. So they will be under the complete control of them. The more allies and constructs the user usurps control from, the more energy is drained.

9 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Nike can draw power from all the victorious actions and desires they’ve seen, felt, or committed in their lives and become an become an embodiment of victory for a short time, in this state they are as twice as stronger and faster than before and are immune to all attacks. They emit a powerful aura which somewhat makes enemies think they are weak and doomed for failure. Once the transformation subsides and the user reverts to normal, they are immensely drained, cannot move and could possibly faint.

  1. Children of Nike are usually excellent charioteers and horse-riders.
  2. Children of Nike are often athletic and great sportsmen.
  3. Children of Nike normally love winning and are very competitive, typically being confident in their skills and wanting to show off.

Aya and Chase

Aya: Aya had just got done teaching a younger group of Hecate kids spell crafting. She had gotten a nice hole in her favorite pair jeans, but it didn't seem to bother her. She was gwadi g towards the Tyche cabin, as to speak with the head counselor. She made her way towards the cabin and up the steps. She walked up to the door and knocked loudly.

Chase: Chase opened the door. "Can I help you Aya?" Although they had never talked before, Chase was friends with a few of the Hecate kids and fond of magic, as his father's ex-boyfriend is a child of Hecate.

Aya: Aya smiled gently and nodded. "I was wondering if we could talk about something." She said this making a hand gesture. "In private."

Chase: Chase smiled. "Look, I'm flattered, but I'm gay." Chase gave the girl a wink, and laughed at his own joke. "Um, where exactly do you want to go? A few of my friends are playing poker in my room at the moment."

Aya: Aya lightly laughed at the young mans joke, before speaking again. "Well, anywhere that's quite and we won't be disturbed, because I would like to speak to you about a possible treaty between our 2 cabins." She says this making a hand gesture.

Chase: "Nobody is going to interupt us here. Not if were're lucky of course." He gave a wink. He took a seat in a lounge chair. "Start talking. I have ADD and a poker game to get back to. Try to sell me on your proposal. "

Aya: Aya cracked a smile, and then sat down in a chair opposite Chase. "Well, I want you guys" she mades a geture towards the cabin. " to stay neutral in any conflict involving Hecate. In return we will come to your aid during any type of battle or feud, We'll also give you potions & healing charms, and we would also be willing to teach charm crafting." She said this as she flicked a piece of hair out of her face.

Chase: Chase smiled slyly, and chuckled. "Do you know the benefits of being a child of the goddess of luck? You know, besides being good at blackjack? We can see the potential outcomes and loopholes of almost any situation, including any treaty you propose. If you want to convince me, you are going to have to answer a few hypotheticals. Like why we must remain neutral in your affairs, but you propose nothing about you remaining neutral in ours? Say we were to enter the Eros and Thanatos feud on the side that you had already claimed to oppose, which we wouldn't, but if we did, how would you respond?"

'Aya: Aya looked at the young man and smiled . "Well, we would either remain neutral or defend your cabin in the feud. It would depend on what type of aid you would need. Either neutrality or defense." She said this as she drummed her fingers on her leg. "If you entered in the feud, my cabin would be on whatever side you chose. We have no treaty with Thanatos or Ero, but if we had a treaty with your cabin. Like I said we'd take up whatever side your cabin chose." She said this with a matter-of-factly way.

Chase: "Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe we are the only cabin you plan on making a treaty with at the moment. Say we get into a feud wth another cabin that you have a treaty with. Would you still claim neutrality? Because it would violate our treaty if you didn't. But that would mean sacrificing your treaty with others. If our cabin will not be your first priority, we cannot do business."

Aya: Aya smiled and then nodded. "I would make every other cabin know that we would remain neutral if they have a feud with your cabin. They would have to understand that we wouldn't be able to come to there aid if they are attacking yours. If they didn't like it then I woukdn't be able to have a treaty with that cabin." 

Chase: "And what is to keep you from severing your treaty with Tyche's cabin instead?" CHase was still skeptical.

Aya and Max

Aya: Aya was heading towards the Nike cabin. She knew there was a slight posibility that the head counselor wasn't even there. She knew that Nike taught a sort of PE class to promote general fitness among rhe campers. She decided to go there anyways. She bounded up the stairs and knocked on the door. "Hello! I need to speak with your head counselor, I think his name's Max."

A tall, blonde, athletic girl opened the door. "One minute." She turned around and knocked on Max's door at the end of the hallway, and yelled "Max, someone's here to see you!"

Max: Max was in his room, wearing a Nike T-shirt and and athletic shorts as always, and playing arcade basketball the arcade basketball hoops in his room "I'm busy! But send her in!"

"His room is at the end of the hallway on the left." The girl said, when she returned to Aya.

Aya: Aya nodded and followed the directions the girl had given her and walked down to the end of the hallway. She turned to face the door on the left and knocked lightly. "Hello?"

Max: The machine made a noise every time Max made a shot, which was quite often. Max didn't turn around to face his guest, and kept playing basketball. "Over here. Far corner. Can I help you?"

Aya: Aya turned to see Max and flashed a friendly smile, a noise could be heard over and over again as the young man made a shot. "Hello, I'm Aya, I'm head of Hecate and I was wondering if we would be able to negotiate a treaty between our cabins. I don't want Hecate to gain enemies, I'd rather them have allies." She said this innocently as she stood there,.

Max: "The only reason we have not acted as more of an ally in the past is the Nike cabin was never asked to aide you in any tasks. What makes you believe that the neutral relationship we have in place is not ideal? I don't believe a treaty is nessecary. But go ahead. Try to change my mind."

Aya: Aya looked at the boy quizzically and then snapped her fingers causing the sound on the machine to disappear. "To be honest I believe Hecate was the one who didn't need to ask for assitance up until now." She says this as she strides closer to the boy. "Now, I was wondering if I would be able to get your cabin to agree to a Mutual non agression pact, as for either of us not to attack one another. A mutual training pact, your cabin hepls train mine, because lets face it most of my cabin relies on there magic, not physical strength. We teach y'all charm crafting." She says this as she drums her fingers on her left. "Oh, and a mutual defense pact, we will come to your aid during a feud and you come to our aid during a feud." She says this flashing a bright smile.

Max: "But you need assistence now? Because that's what you are implying. Your treaty proposal seems fair, however, I myself much perfer physical combat to any sort of magic. I will agree to a mutual defense pact now, until our cabins' relationship develops further, that is all. I want to make sure your cabin is not a flight risk, if you know what I mean. I hope you understand." Max shot another basket.

Aya: "Aya looked at him and cracked a grin. "Well, sort of. I don't necessarly need it, but it would be nice to have Victory on my side. "She said this as she placed her right hand on her hip. "My cabin isn't at odds with another, on the contrary we haven't had a feud against another cabin in a very long time." She looked at him and then tilted her head slightly. "I disagree, I believe you should agree to all the terms. Hecate isn't a flight and never will be." She says this as she snaps her fingers again, causing the next basketball to stop in midair. "Now, do you agree to all the terms or do you still think we're a flight risk?"

Max: "I never said you were a flight risk. All I said was that if you don't want me to assume so, you need to prove to me otherwise. If you really want victory on you side, if you would like to show me and my cabin that you are sincere about this treaty, I would suggest we simply start by having our cabins exchange favors, off book, so I can ensure your cabin's loyalty and cooperation. Then I can begin to trust you. If you would like, you can start by unmuting my arcade basketball machine."

Aya: Aya snapped her fingers, the machines noise coming back on, the ball unfroze, and landed into the. "Alright, that sounds fair." She said this as she nodded in agreement. "But what type of favors would we exchange? Simple favors like help with cleaning, and training? Or major favors?"

Max: "Whatever your cabin, or mine may need. For example, the gym is crowded in the eveninga fter dinner, but sometimes whoever is working may need to call in sick. Would someone from your cabin be willing to cover for them in a case like this? Those kinds of favors."

Aya: Aya thought for a moment and then dedcided it would be a perfect way to gain trust. "Okay, that would work, my cabin would definitely be able to those kind of favors." She said this holding out her hand. "Lets shake on it."

Max: "Very well then. Pleasure doing business with you. Off book of course."

Aya: Aya nodded and then started walking out of the door. "Of course." She said this as she headed towards the front door and left to cabin.
