The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don't have any.

"Hey"

Rp

Aurora: She's wandering the Old Ruins, practicing her powers. The wind around her is warm, but hides a deadly force. Once in a while there is large cloud and she is hidden from view, when the cloud is gone, she has moved.

Leo: He walks across the Covenant, wanting to to some fresh air. He finds himself in the Old Ruins as it's the quietest place at the moment. He finds a tree to sit against and looks out at the area. He spots this girl out of the corner of his eye but by the time he focuses on her, there is nothing but a cloud, he gets up and slowly walks towards the cloud, but he doesn't get far before it dissipates. He scans around trying to find her.

Aurora: She has moved across the clearing onto a wall. She concentrates on the cloud again but it won't appear again. She swears softly in Greek. The wind around her picks up and her hair blows in her face. She brushes it away and floats to the floor of the clearing and doesn't notice the boy.

Leo: He turns around to the sound of the wind. He looks across the the area he heard it before finally looking up and seeing her. He smiled to himself at the beautiful girl standing there. He runs over to the wall and calls up to her. "Hey!"

Aurora: Her head snaps up and she pulls out a dagger by instinct. "Who's there?" She then sees the boy and relaxes her stance but doesn't put away her dagger.

Leo: He grins as she pulled the dagger out. "So you're the girl that's disappearing in the clouds."

Aurora: She shrugs. "Have to practice somehow. What are you doing out here?"

Leo: "The rest of the covenant was getting a bit stuffy for me so I had to get some fresh air. I can so you have plently out here." He grins and laughs.

Aurora: A gust of wind quickly blows through the clearing. "Tread carefully boy. I haven't been in the best mood lately."

Leo: The wind blows up the sound of a roaring fire on him. "Only a joke, I mean you no trouble."

Aurora: The wind dies down but it's still slightly there. "Good, because I don't feel like fighting today."

Leo: "I'm very glad to hear that. Would today be a good day for talking?" He leaps up and creates jets of heat and fire to propel himself up to the top of the wall. He sits on the edge and looks up at her. "Is this seat taken?"

Aurora: She shakes her head sits next to him. She slides her dagger into the shealth on her left. "So what now?"

Leo: He extends his hand to her and smiles. "Leo. Son of Phlegethon."

Aurora: She shakes his hand and wrinkles her nose. "Who?"

Leo: "One of the five rivers of the underworld. He personified and meet my mom, and well, here I am."

Aurora: "Ah. I'm Aurora. You can call me Rora. Daughter of Zephyus."

Leo: He nods. "A very pretty name for a very pretty girl" He smiles honestly at her.

Aurora: She blushes furoiusly and coughs. "Thanks."

Leo: "So, what brought you to the BC?" He relaxes his body, sort of leaning towards her.

Aurora: "Well, i had this tutor and she had trained me and was going to bring me to camp, but last minute we got attacked by a chimera. She didn't make it and I wondered why the gods would let one of their own die. Like, do they not care? So what about you. I'm guessing they just won't let you into camp. But, eh."

Leo: "Well being a son of Phlegethon sort of makes me a bastard of a demigod, and I ran with a gang of other demigods that hated the world we lived in. Never even tried to make it to camp, but I'm glad I never did."

Aurora: She nods her head. "That makes sense. Camp isn't all what demigods say it is."

Leo: He laughs a bit. "No it is not. But hey, we have this." He motions to the convenant grounds. "A place that accepts us and has similar views as us."

Aurora: "True, and it's prettier here than at camp."

Leo: "Very, and we also get the prettier girls." He smiles at her. "Also getting to do whatever we want is so much better."

Aurora: She laughs and nods again. "Isn't it always better to do what you want instead of following people that you disagree with? But then again, not always. If we all did what we wanted to do, the world would probably come to an end."

Leo: He laughs with her. "This is true, we'd be the only ones left if we had our way."

Aurora: "The world is a better place with rules. But perhaps not a better place with the Gods who "enforce" those rules."

Leo: "Them and their own biased ego of their power over this world. But nothing at these very moment we are going to to do to change it majorly. So why not enjoy the freedom."

Aurora: She nods and smiles. "The freedom to be free. This is a beautiful spot. It's unfortunate that there aren't more places like this.

Leo: "So few left after everything the humans have done. But at least there are still beuatiful people to make up for it. He look at her and smiles.

Aurora: She blushes and looks down at the clearing. She suddenly gets up and floats up above the clearing, turning to Leo, smirking.

Leo: He smirks back at her and stands up. "Playful." He jumps towards her and creates his thermal jets to keep him afloat near her. He grins wide at her.

Aurora: She drops to the ground and hits the ground running, laughing. She heads toward the far end of the ruins to an underhang.

Leo: He drops down as well and gives chase, enjoying the fun. He smiles wide and he goes all out to catch her.

Auora: When she reaches the overhang, she jumps and lands on the high wall. She turns and waits, her whole body shaking in laughter.

Leo: He jumps after her and is about to colide with her before bursting into a cloud of warm ember and flys around her. He comes back together and lands hard onto the ground past the wall. He looks up and her and smiles even wider and laughs.

Aurora:  She stumbles at the unexpected and falls. She breaks her fall with the wind and does a flip before landing softly on the ground.

Leo: He runs over to her. "Shit, didn't mean to make you fall off."

Aurora: She shakes her head. "It's fine. I practice it all the time anyways. What's the point of having the ability to fly if you don't use it?"

Leo: "Ok good." He looks out across the rest of the ruins and the forest surround. He looks back at her. "Shall we continue?"

Aurora: "Sure." She takes off running, a gentle wind helping her along a bit.

Leo: He sprints after her, grinning. He attempts to come up from her right and catch up to her.

Aurora: She laughs and tries to run faster, but she's running all out. She eventually starts to slow down from exhaustion.

Leo: He sees her slowing down. He does the same as he catches up to her and wraps his arms around her waist and picking her up, spinning around a few times, before landing on a spot of soft ground while her on top of him. "Getting a little tired there?"

Aurora: She nods and blushes. She gets up and sits in the grass next to him.

Leo: He sits up as well and smiles at her. "You do this stuff often? Just get out of the training and the boringness of life?"

Aurora: She nods. "I try to. It helps because I can't stay in one place for too long usually, and I can't really sit still either. So training helps."

Leo: "I like the training too, lets me burn off from energy. But with a place like this, hard not to just want to escape the world."

Aurora: Yeah. The freedom.... then again I'm biased."
