  1. Children of Aglaea have the ability to force a false state of joy upon someone, diminishing their awareness on their surroundings for a short time.
  2. Children of Aglaea have the ability to make someone believe that they are being weighed down by adornments, that they lose their regular speed for a short time, the more illusory adornments they weigh the enemy down with, the more it drains them. The effect may also be applied on weaponry or armory instead, which makes them too heavy to be used.

Defensive[]

  1. Children of Aglaea are able to make a person feel as if they have lost all beauty, splendor, and glory in their life for a short time, causing them to feel too depressed to fight.
  2. Children of Aglaea have the ability to mesmerize anyone nearby with their physical appearance, stunning them for a short period of time.

Passive[]

  1. In their presence, people that are surrounding children of Aglaea will be more jubilant, and be more pleased than usual.
  2. Children of Aglaea are more powerful when their surroundings are beautiful.

  1. Children of Aglaea have the ability to minorly sway a person's feelings with fervor to attain glory and magnificence in anything they do for a short time, such as fighting, doing their hobby, etc.
  2. Children of Aglaea have the ability to alter and control clothes, make-up, adornments, embellishments, and decorations. The larger the change, the more energy it drains.

  1. Children of Aglaea have the ability to enchant the magnificence of nearby weapons or armor with either a positive effect or negative quality for a short time; some examples would be increasing or decreasing the sharpness of a blade, its damage dealt to enemies, the durability of armor, or luster. The more tools affected, the more energy it drains.

9 Months After a Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Aglaea are now able to channel their positive emotional energies to construct combative and non-combative objects, formed one at a time and no more than 2 to 3 times the size of the user, which takes on marvelous and luminous appearances depending on the user's preferences. However, their ability to use the power is hindered before or during use when they experience emotions in relation to negativity. As more negative emotions are felt, the strength of the object begins to fade, becoming dull and brittle.

  2. Children of Aglaea tend to have bright, joyous personalities.

Roleplay[]

Blaine: Blaine is sleeping in the Camp Half Blood Forest, and is bluntly layed out, sleeping, in the midst of a trail.

Erik: He jogs on the camp trail, trying to forget the embarrassments of the day. Earlier, he'd been claimed as a son of Aglaea, which of course was greeted with surprise and laughter. The satyr had even laughed. I thought...I guess I don't understand the friend concept as well as I thought. First Charles, then the satyr. Friendship seemed to be reserved to the movies.

Blaine: He begins to stir, and eventually wakes up from Erik's feet tapping the ground. He shoots up,and yells "Shut the F*ck up,Kid!" in Erik's general direction. God some people are so rude he thinks.

Erik: He stops running, slightly shocked. "Uh, s-sorry." Although it is tough to see through his mask, Erik averts his eyes. "I'm just..." He shakes his head. The guy probably doesn't care. "Uh, do you know a good place to go and think? You know, that's quiet? I'm, uh, new."

Blaine: What the hell is up with this kid?,Is it even a kid,or a monster?, His eyes narrow as he examines Erik, his head shifts left as he studies the boys mask. "Eh.. Nice mask you got there, pal" Which sounds more like a question than a statement. "How about you take that off?,so I can get a better look at you" his left hand goes towards his sword, while his right goes over to touch Erik's mask.

Erik: His eyes widen, and he jumps back a bit. "Uh...nah, better not. I'm visiting a friend later, and I just thought I'd scare him a bit. Gotta get in character first though." He gives a fictitious laugh, one he'd practiced for years. The story stays the same. In New York, people generally didn't give a crap if you wore a mask. There was always someone who would ask though. "I guess I'll just take another path..." His finger folds to almost touch one of the button's on his glove.

Blaine: Blaine, steps forward, and begins to whisper "Listen to me you little bitch, you're not going to stand here and lie to me,Ok? The fake laugh you just pulled? Psh...don't bullshit me kid, just tell me what the hell you are doing here with a mask on? As a priest,on of my duties is protecting these damn snot nosed kids." After he exclaims all of this,he withdraws his sword. "No one gets hurt, bub, just tell me who the f*ck you are,and why you are here, dont lie."

Erik: The guy is a bit frighting, but he sands his ground. "I'm just a demigod trying to find some peace and quiet!" He exclaims. "Is there anything wrong with that?" He walks back a little. "If you are going to beat the shit out of me, then fine. Just- don't take the mask off." His voice quivers a bit on the last two words. He knew the guy couldn't possibly beat him worse than his father. The main worry is the mask.

Blane: He puts his sword back in its scabbard, and for some reason cracks a smile. "Listen Kid,I will make you a deal,I will take you to a quiet place where you will rarely be bothered, but first you need to tell me what you are hiding."

Erik: He stares at the guy, unwavering. "I wouldn't call it hiding. I'm just wearing a mask. Yes, it's is a little strange, but so are you, and this entire camp. And even if I am hiding, we all have secrets to never be revealed. I'm sure you sir, have your fair share." He feels uneasy with the stranger, especially considering he'd previously asked for Erik to take off the mask. Rule number one: Never show your true face. "We all wear masks of sorts," he mumbles.

Blaine: He stares back into Erik's eyes "Whatever" he says as he rolls his eyes. "Do you want a quiet place where you can do creepy shit,or not?" What the hell is up with this kid

'Erik: He furls his eyebrows behind the mask. "Uhm, I wouldn't call it creepy shit." In reality, he just needs a place for quiet, and a place in which he can do ballet in peace. It is the only thing that calms him now, his secret little splendor trove.

Blaine:"What ever,freak...follow me" Blaine then proceeds to walk outside of the forest, closer, and closer towards the Big House. Once they reach the big house,Blaine opens the door and makes his way to The Basement . "OK Freak! This place is usually empty,as most demigod are scared shitless of this place!" He grins.

Erik: He winces everytime he gets called freak. Sure, he had a lifetime to get used to it, but that doesn't mean he did. He looks at the basement. "Charming..." he mutters. No matter, a quiet place is a quiet place right? This camp is weird, but it can't get THAT weird, can it? It's probably harmless... He tentatively walks into the basement. "Uhh, do you come here often?" he asks.

Blaine:"Only when I want to non-priest like things" he smiles at Erik as he draws his sword once more "Alright, pal! No one can hear you scream down here! These are your options you can A-Take off that mask,or B-Die."

Erik: He takes a moment to think about his options. "Honestly, dying sounds like a better option." With the shit he's been through, dying is like a blessing. He presses a button on his glove, and his saber appears in his hands. "I won't be going down that easy though." He'd done some sword fighting classes in his day, and besides, he is a graceful ballet dancer. Foot work is everything.
