He was walking to town, his hands in his pockets, and a toothpick rolling from one side of his mouth to the other, entertaining himself through a quiet whistle. He wore nothing but a pair of dark jeans and a white, V-neck, t-shirt and wasn't expecting to run into anyone.
He stopped, his head turning to the sound, listening before, just as hit the silence, jolting into action, racing into the forest towards where he thought the source was. Lightning. Probably a sibling. Finally he skidded to a stop as his eyes hit the golden dust and turned to look at Aurora. He was right, a sibling. "You alrig-" he stopped asking that question as soon as he saw the cut and swore.
"I don't have anything on me to help," he said before pulling off his shirt and pressed it against the wound, "I'll have to carry you back to the infirmary. Nothing big...yeah, and I'm a child of Artemis."
"Snake woman?" He echoed, adjusting his grip on her for it to be more comfortable, turning on his heel to head back towards camp. "I mean, at least you can boast that you've killed them, for the time being anyway."
"Don't ask me," he said, "I usually just fight them then forget about them, I can't tell you their names." His grip grew tighter, "if you keep on struggling, the cut will grow and the pain will become worse."
He raised an eyebrow down at her, having been distracted from the Apollo kids moving around. "I, uh...sure," he said, "if you want. I don't think we've gotten each other's names though."
