Chad/Aqua[]
OOC: I named you Jar Opener, since Pandora opened the Jar. :3 OOC: (P) Alright. XD It don't matter. :P Chad: He walked in at the Pub, taking a seat with Aquamarine. Aquamarine: "So, what's good around here?" She asked him. Chad: He grinned. "Wanna get wasted in class with some whiskey?" Chad proposed, with a devilish look on his face. Aquamarine: "I think I'll have a vodka," Marine told him Well, I never drank before in my life, so, start now I guess She thought in her head. Chad: He tried to read her expression, as the waiter came with their drinks. He picked their glasses, handing the vodka to Marine. Aquamarine: She kept a straight face and drank her vodka. It was terrible but she forced swallowed it. Ew! No wonder why I didn't touch this stuff, She thought in her head as she still kept a straight face. Chad: He smirked as they drank. He had finished half his glass. Aquamarine: Her glass is still a bit full and she sets it down. "So, what did you do before you came to camp?" She asked him, hoping to get an excuse not to drink her vodka. Chad: Her full vodka went unnoticed to Chad's eyes. "Easy. I took care of leopards." He took another sip of his drink. "What about you?" Aquamarine: "I was helping Poseidon and Amphitrite with errands in the ocean, they were like my parents." She said as she remembered her days back in the palace. Chad: "That seems nice. Dionysus's practically never on Olympus, always partying around." He said. As he saw Marine's drink, he gestured her to keep drinking. Aquamarine: She looks at her drink as if she's scared to touch it, but wipes that face off in a snap. She took her drink and forced swallowed it little by little. She eventually got used to the taste. "So, how did you get to camp?" Chad: "Meh... Dionysus forced me to go on a vacation for my hard work. Though, I still go check on the leopards from time to time." Aquamarine: "Poseidon forced me to go to the mortal world to help the dolphins here. I didn't want to leave but eventually, I did," She scowled at the memory. Chad: He finished his wine. He started looking at Marine in a weird way. His drunk state had kicked in, making him loose common sens. He looked at her up and down. Aquamarine: Noting this, she blushed a tint pink. "What? Is there something wrong with me?" She stammered. I think he's drunk She thought in her head. Chad: He wildly grinned. "Not at all, babe..." Aquamarine: Yeah, he's seriously drunk. This is why I do not drink She thought in her head. She cleared her throat, "uh, wanna go back to camp?" Hoping to get out of the pub before something happens. Chad: "Sure, why not..." Aquamarine: She paid the bartender and got up from her seat, waiting for Chad. Chad: With the same deranged expression plastered on his face, he got up, taking Marine elsewhere... Post here, please. |
Kaeden/Jemima[]
Kaeden/Jemima - 2[]
Kaeden: He walks around the BC with his camera, taking several pictures as he walked by. He sighed since it wasn't really interesting to do any more since he's been doing the same thing for almost his entire life. Jemima: She was exiting the Ortu's territory, clad in a simple outfit; a blue navy flower dress and some white ballet flats, having her hear braided in a loose fishtail. Kaeden's nearby presence was unacknowledged by her, leaving her slowly walking in another direction. Kaeden: He scans the area to see if there was anything interesting to take pictures of and he sees Jemima. He wonders if she'd want to hang out again so he called out her name, "Jem!" Jemima: She stopped her wandering, turning around at the familiar voice. A gentle smile appeared on her lips, as she joined him. "Hey Kaeden." She greeted, her tone seeming excited from seeing him. Kaeden: "Sup?" He said as he ran up to her. Jemima: She shrugged. "You know, just the same old. Faction members always bragging about their cold kills and such. The usual or so." Kaeden: He nods, "Same. I wonder what's fun about killing demigods from the camp." He shuddered at the thought of murdering. Jemima: "Some of the people here don't just want to get revenge at the gods; but also at their loved ones." She said with melancholy. "Maybe they were just too tormented to only get a fraction of pain." Kaeden: "That's... something." He simply said. Jemima: "It is, sadly." She said, letting out a small sigh. Kaeden: "So, wanna do somethin'?" He asked, wondering if they should do something together again. Jemima: She nodded. "Sure. What should we do?" Kaeden: "Oh, uh, maybe grab a quick bite to eat?" He suggested. Jemima: She smiled, wondering why his words were slightly stammered. "Okay, sounds good." TIMESKIP UNTIL THEY ARRIVE Kaeden: They arrive at a Pizza Hut (ooc: cause who doesn't love pizza? XP) and he looks at Jem. "Hope you don't mind pizza." Jemima: She frowned. "Who the heck doesn't love pizza?" Kaeden: "True dat." He said as they walked in. "So, what do you want on your pizza?" Jemima: "Just some cheese will do." Kaeden: "Could you grab some seats for us while I order?" He asked her. Jem: She nodded, walking towards a table for 2, further in the deep of the restaurant. Kaeden: He falls in line to order a pizza, and then pays for it. He walks to where Jem is sitting and sits down on the empty seat across from her. (assuming she's already in a chair... >.<") Jem: She smiled, as she certainly was sitting on a chair. :3 As he set down the food, she waited a few seconds before taking a small bite. Kaeden: He takes a slice and takes a big bite. He chews and swallows afterwards. "So, what do you wanna talk about? Cause I'm out of ideas." He said truthfully. Jemima: She shrugged, taking another bite with poise. As much poise as the situation can allow, that is, as it was kind of only food. She blankly starred at him for a moment, studying his features, getting distracted. She almost forgot about his statement. "Oh, uh. I don't know." She admitted, still unconcernedly looking at him with skepticism. She adverted her gaze elsewhere, unsure why, catching a glance at mortal carrying a slice of pizza. Heck, it was everywhere when she thought of it- Why was she thinking of such random things? "Have you ever wondered why round pizzas came in square boxes?" She asked, out of the blue, semi-curious yet semi-desperate for a topic. Kaeden: He nods as he took another slice, kind of wondering why she brought up that subject. "I wonder that sometimes." Jemima: She continued eating her slice. "So... Have you made any other friends since joining the BC?" She curiously asked. "Any lady friends perhaps?" Kaeden: He shakes his head, "I'm not one of the social types who'd just be making friends wherever I go. I'd rather just be in my room or somewhere quiet where I can take pictures in peace." Jemima: She nodded in agreement. Having few trustworthy acquaintances with a strong history beats any dozen of "friends" that she might barely even know. Enquiry popped in her head, as another question came out of nowhere. "What about your sister. Kaydenza, was it?" Kaeden: "We don't talk that much to each other any more. Well, not that we used to talk to each other a lot before, but yeah. She's too sociable and more of the outgoing type while I like to keep to myself." Jemima: She examined his expression, as it was seemingly filled with slight melancholy. "Well maybe you should try to get her time for awhile." She suggested, encouragingly. "Friends might come and go, but family is immortal as the gods. You shouldn't let a couple of strangers drag her out of your life." Kaeden: "Doubt she'd want to hang out with me. All she just wants to do is flirt with boys 24/7." He said while making a disgusted face. Jemima: She shrugged, finishing her slice. "That's too bad. I'm sure you'll manage some day though." Kaeden: "Yeah... one day." He said as he took his third slice and started eating it. "So, how bout you? Relatives or you were just you know... created?" Jemima: She merely started eating her second slice. "Excluding other moon nymphs, I don't have any family." She neutrally replied with no specific tone. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed how many slices he'd eaten. She tried to hold back a chuckle with no luck. Kaeden: He heard her laugh and got confused on why she's laughing, "What's so funny?" He asked wanting to know. Jemima: She toned down her brief laughter. "Well, I didn't realize how hungry you were." She admitted, eyeing his food. Was it her or could all boys eat a whole pizza alone if not stopped? Kaeden: He smiles sheepishly, "Yeah.. I am pretty hungry. You know, guys have big appetites." Jemima: She smiled, playfully punching his arm from across the small table. "Guess that's why they have quite the physique." Kaeden: "Do girls have big appetites? I mean, I've never seen a girl chowing down food without complaining how many carbs the food has..." He wondered. Jemima: She raised an eyebrow. "Well I guess it always depends on who we're talking about. Girls aren't all alike." Kaeden: "That is true..." He muttered. "What about you? Do you have a big appetite?" He randomly asked. Jemima: She blinked, eying her half-eaten second slice. She was already full as she was. "Not at my knowledge." Kaeden: He stares at her plate and wonders if she eats like this everyday. "Is that how you normally eat?" He said but mentally slaps himself cause it sounded a bit rude for some reason. Jemima: She raised her eyebrows. "Are you usually this cautious about food, or are you just interested by people's fascinating eating habits?" She asked, in a amiably mocking tone. Kaeden: He said sheepishly, "Just interested..." Jemima: She smiled to herself and finished her pizza in silence. Kaeden: He takes his fourth slice (>.<") and ran out of ideas to talk about. They both sit in awkward silence as they eat their pizzas. OOC: boy now i want a pizza! >.< OOC: Don't get me started. \._./ (Wait, 4 slices? Shit. >.<) Jemima: She, not hungry anymore, didn't take another slice. She stared at Kaeden, carefully studying his features. OOC: that's like how much my dad can eat >.<" Kaeden: He keeps chewing on his pizza and felt Jemima staring at her which caused him to look up. "Something on my face?" He asked wanting to know why she is staring at him. Jemima: "No, no..." She assured, her tone seeming nonchalant. "It's perfect the way it is." She blurted out. Kaeden: He raises an eyebrow, but doesn't say anything else as he was finishing his last pizza slice. Jemima: She blushed, glancing at the window as a distraction and noticed that it was getting slightly dark. "We should get going." She suggested. Kaeden: He notices this as well and gets up, "Right." TIMESKIP UNTIL THEY ARRIVE BACK AT THE SANCTUARY Jemima: They were standing in the middle of the sanctuary, as the sun was slowly starting to fade. Her curse didn't go off yet. "So..." Kaeden: "So..." He said as well since nothing came up in his mind to talk about. Jemima: She was hoping he would have finished the sentence, thus keeping her mouth shut. Before she would even have the chance to say anything, the sky suddenly started darkening. The moon slowly rose, at its own pace. Jemima's skin tone started to glimmer, and her curse had begun before she even knew it. Kaeden: He notices this but doesn't say anything and keeps quiet. Jemima: She was relieved he kept quiet, as the topic would have been more awkward. Her only hope was that he wasn't all that uncomfortable. She also wished the stupid curse of hers didn't include the inability to touch anything, as she could only merely resist the urge to hug Kaeden. Kaeden: He clears his throat, "So, uh, see you tomorrow... I guess?" He said, not really sure if he should leave even though they do have nothing to talk about now. Jemima: She bit her lip hesitantly. She knew that the reason why Kaeden didn't say much about his history was because it made him uncomfortable around others. Maybe it might have changed, since they've gotten a bit closer. She did tell him her life's story, didn't she? Curiosity got the best of her. For either cause, she didn't want to loose his company. "Wait." She sheepishly blurted out. "C-Could you stay more for a while?" Kaeden: He was about to go, but stops when he heard her request. "Sure." He simply said with no expression on his face. Jemima: Half of her was relived he accepted, the other was worried she might have irritated him, holding him against his own will. She focused her gaze on him, trying not to think about her shimmering. Kaeden: He wonders if he should tell her about the shimmering but remains quiet for fear that she might break down or something. He gazes back in her eyes, wondering why she's staring at him like that. Jemima: It was strange. She was seemingly shining more than usual. She tried not to think of it much. "I once asked you why you joined. Do you feel okay feeling it to me now?" She meekly asked, trying to break the silence. Kaeden: He sighs but agreed to tell her, "Sure, I mean, I gotta tell you someday." He then told her how he was bullied badly by mortals when he was in elementary, middle, and high school. He also told her about his personality, thinking that she might be lost on why the kids might want to bully him. Jemima: She nodded while she listened to him, a look of sadness growing. "That's terrible." She said. Kaeden: "Yeah, that's why I'm much more of an indoors person than outdoors. I really don't like going out but after I met you and started taking more pictures, I got used to the outdoors somehow." Jemima: If she could have blushed in with her white shade, she would have. She was out of words. He came outside, everyday, facing everything life threw at him, just because of her? Kaeden: He yawns a bit, getting tired, "Uh, not to be rude but, how long to I have to stay with you? A man needs his sleep after all," He said with a chuckle on the last part. Jemima: Yet again, she would have flushed if she could have. "Sorry, you can go whenever you like. I'm not holding you off." Kaeden: He nods and feels a bit bad that he asked something that was a bit rude. "Well, see ya tomorrow?" He said before walking off. |
Confession Time~[]
Kaeden: He wanders around the BC looking for Jemima since he got bored and had nothing to do. Taking pictures of the scenery was getting boring for him now and he wanted to take pictures of something else besides the scenery for a change. Jemima: She was strolling around the more quiet areas of the sanctuary, taking the fresh climate at hand as the cold temperatures started to dismiss, at the hand of spring's near arrival. She wore a star patterned dress, a black leather jacket and had her hair let down. Kaeden: As he got to the quiet areas of the BC, he kept searching for Jemima. Jem: She, after wandering for numerous minutes, had eventually stumbled upon the sight of a searching child of Tartarus. She approached him, a smile on her lips, having to resist the urge to hug him or anything. With a calm expression, she placed her hands on his eyes, covering his vision. "Guess who?" She asked, mimicking a dark voice but failing to cover her own. Kaeden: He smirks and decided to go along with it, "Hrm... Let me think for a moment." Jemima: "Time's up." She said, directly after he spoke. "It's Dionysus, here to seek your eternal love." She said out of the blue. She had gotten the idea from hearing a nasty joke about the wine god's love interests, and decided to randomly go with it. She walked up front to him, briefly sticking out her tongue from the side of the lip in a joking way. Kaeden: "Ew..." He started to say, "Where did you here that from?" he asked her. Jemima: She shrugged. "A rather long and... Indecent story that I shan't tell you." Kaeden: "okay! Then I don't really wanna hear it," He said while shuddering. He's heard enough of those types of stories after hanging out with a couple of guys from Opus. Jemima: She smiled at him. "So, what are you up to?" She asked. Kaeden: "Nothing much, well, actually, I'm trying to find other things to take pictures of.. it's kind of hard considering the fact I've basically took pictures of everything that's in and around the BC..." Jem: She raised an eyebrow. "Everything?" She asked. "Have you tried taking pictures of yourself, perhaps?" Kaeden: "I don't do 'selfies' thank you very much. It makes me feel weird for some reason..." Jem: She lightly chuckled. "Could I take one of you?" Kaeden: "Um, sure you can try... Just be very very careful with the camera.." He said while he handed her the camera. He usually doesn't let people handle or even touch his camera because it's so valuable to him. Jem: She cautiously took the device, trying to be as delicate as possible under Kaeden's words. She held it up to her eye, and after a few seconds of trying to get precision on the image, she took a picture of Kaeden, a click resorting from the outcome. Kaeden: "Can I take a look of it?" He asked and held his hand out signaling her to give him back his camera. Jem: She returned the camera, which now showed a successful image of Kaeden, who by Jemima's point of view, looked rather handsome in the picture. Kaeden: He looks at it and was impressed, "Impressive. Maybe you should start taking pictures now instead of me." He joked. Jem: "Such modesty. You're much better than me." She said. Kaeden: "but I think you should consider it." He said truthfully. "So... what should we do today?" Jem: She shrugged. "I honestly have no idea. I'm up for anything though." OOC: O.O wut shud they do? OOC: I dunno. That's why she was up for anything. Kaeden: "The lake I guess?" He asked her not sure what they should do. Jem: She nodded. "Sure, why not?" She replied, as they started walking in direction of the sanctuary's lake. Jemima discreetly reached for his hand, intertwining their fingers without making any eye contact, hoping he wouldn't mind. Kaeden: He didn't mind of course, but in reality, he was actually thrilled that she was holding his hand. He squeezed her hand signalling her that he was fine with it. Jem: Out of the corner of her lips grew a small and subtle smile that was hidden enough to be unseen by Kaeden's eyes. They arrive upfront a large current of water, the lake. Kaeden: As they arrived, he tried to think of multiple topics they can talk about so they wouldn't be bored there. "So..." he started. Jem: "How have you been?" Kaeden: "Fine. How about you?" He asked her. Jem: "Same here..." She replied, starting to suffer from the distance between them. Kaeden: "So," He said, "Meet any new people? Talk to anybody recently?" Jem: She shook her head. "Not of whom caught my eye, though." Kaeden: "Oh, did somebody catch your eye though?" He teased her a little a bit interested on this topic she brought up. Jem: She shook her head, not wanting to tell him otherwise, as he would probably think it was a boy other than hi,. "What about you, Romeo?" Kaeden: "Nah, not a lot of the girls here caught my eye." He lied a little. Jem: She bit her lip, hesitant on a decision. She couldn't hold back. "You know, there's this one boy that actually did." Kaeden: He raised an eyebrow, "Oh? Really? Tell me about him." He said. Jem: She smiled a little. "Sweet, charming, handsome... A child of the Underworld, one might say." Kaeden: "Is he a child of Hades?" He automatically guessed, not knowing it was actually him. >.< Jemima: She managed not to burst into laughter, wanting to keep the game going for a little while longer. "No. Tartarus, actually." She replied, thinking that the answer was obvious at this point. Kaeden: He knows that there are a couple of Tartarus kids in the BC but he wasn't truly sure if it was him yet so he decided to keep the game going for a little while longer as well. "Which faction is this guy in?" Jem: She smiled. "έργο." OOC: im guessing that's Greek for opus? >.<" OOC: Yesh. Kaeden: "Does he happen to be standing right beside you?" He asked her. Jem: She couldn't help but grin as she nodded, thought she was unsure if the feelings were returned. Kaeden: Now that it was confirmed he smiled a little and even though he didn't look like he was really happy, he was. "Well, that's great to hear." He told her. Jem: Her enthusiasm slightly drained itself, hearing his monotone voice. "I'm guessing the feelings aren't mutual, by the looks of it." Kaeden: "Actually, the feelings are very mutual." He said while trying not to blush. OOC: :3 dawwww OOC: So adorbs. x3 Jem: She smiled in relief, trying to contain her excitement. "So, what will happen now?" Kaeden: "Well, you can visit my mother, but I feel like that step is a bit too early..." He said while thinking of things they could do with each other on dates. Jem: As he implied a visit to his mother, she was overwhelmed with a wave of emotions. It might be too early, but she had never had a "family" aside from Pandia, whom's guts she hates as much as anything. It would be nice to actually meet one for a change. "Why not after a date?" Kaeden: "Deal," He immediately said to her. OOC: Do you want to start the other one? Ooc: could u start it? >.< |
The First Date?[]
Jemima: She was waiting under a tree, the location she gave Kaeden to pick her up for their very first date. She was clad in this dress, with a black cardigan and ballet flats, feeling that heels would make her look too tall. Her hair was let down, as she leaned her back against the willow tree. Kaeden: Like anybody would on a date, he wore normal clothing and hope that Jemima wouldn't mind. He went to the tree that he told her he'd pick her up at. Jem: At his fast arrival, she gave him her most radiant smile. She reflexively did a nervous double-take herself, checking if she looked good enough for a first date. Kaeden: "Hey," He said while trying to sound cool. (>.<) He walked up to her and gave her a kiss on her cheek. "You look nice today." He complimented. Jem: She smiled, almost letting out a squeal as he gave her a peck. Every milestone counted to her. "Thanks. You're pretty fine too." Kaeden: He chuckles a bit since all he did was throw on some clothes that he thought was nice to wear. "Have any place you want to go?" He asked. Jem: She shrugged, giving him a pensive look. "Maybe to the movies? It's kind of cliché, but it always does the trick." Kaeden: "Sure." He said. "What movie should we see?" Jem: She shrugged. "How about Noah?" Kaeden: "Sure," He said again, kind of feeling like he was a tape recorder or something. TIMESKIP Jem: They arrive at the theaters, having purchased both their tickets and snacks, in front of the entrance to their movie. Kaeden: "So how are things?" He asked as they walked into the room their movie was playing at. Jem: "They're great." She said, thinking of the fact that she's actually dating someone. Kaeden: He nods his head while thinking of other things they could talk about before the movie started. Jem: As the movie was about to start, she entered the hall, finding a seat with Kaeden. Kaeden: "How about we get some seats in the middle?" He asked her since those were usually the best seats. Jem: She nodded, afterwards going to sit on a seat in the middle rows, as the movie started after the trailers. TIMESKIP after the movie ends and they walk out of the theater Kaeden: They walk out of the theater and Kaeden holds her hand. "So, should we head back? Or should we do something else?" He asked her. Jem: She shrugged. "Anything floats my boat... But it's getting late." She said, raising her hand while still holding his, gesturing her skin from her eyes. Kaeden: "Then why don't we just head back. We wouldn't want any of the mortals... freaking out you know." He said, hoping it didn't hurt her feelings or something. >.< Jem: She nodded, even though she knew the mist would cover it. She didn't like to correct people anyway. OOC: Timeskip to when they get back to the BC? OOC: Sure. Jem: As the sun was nearly setting down, they arrived to the BC's sanctuary, entering the territory hand in hand. Kaeden: "That was a good first date... right?" He said as they kept walking. Jem: "Definitely." She replied with a smile. Kaeden: "Not to change the topic or anything, but when do you want to meet my mom? From the letters I've gotten from her, she seems happy that she's getting a chance to meet you since Kaydenza just flirts around and doesn't have an actual relationship with anybody..." Jem: A smile grew, a small genuine laugh of joy letting itself go. "Well, if she's that happy about it, I'm guessing we could meet each other soon enough." Kaeden: "Well, I was wondering if you'd like to visit her on this Saturday... So, do you?" He asked her. Jem: "Of course, I'd love to." She replied, afterwards giving a weary look to him as she looked up at the sky, which was near night. Kaeden: "Where should I pick you up? Near the Ortu Dorms?" Jem: As she nodded, the sky started to get darker than before. Before she knew it, in a matter of seconds to be exact, her skin began to glow. Kaeden: "Then it's settled. Oh, what time would you like this to be? My mother would like to know so she can change her schedule for work..." Jem: "After midday, perhaps?" She asked, certainly not wanting it to be in the night. Kaeden: "Alright, I'll write to my mom tonight and send the letter to her. So, uh, catch you later then?" He said not wanting to leave but he has to prepare the meeting. Jem: She was now fully glowing, a halo of silver light enveloping her. It almost looked as if she was an uncontrollably radiant huntress of Artemis. "Of course. I'll see you soon." Kaeden: "See ya then!" he said and kissed her cheek before running off to the Opus dorms. |
