Rhi: Rhi was walking back from camp to her new residence, New Athens. The small town didn't feel like home yet, not in the way camp did, which is why she has been taking the short walk to and from camp nearly every day since getting to Long Island. New Athens' training grounds weren't ready as of yet, a fact that Rhi used as an excuse for her daily commute. She'd spent a couple of hours in the archery range and another walking around camp with Tristan, giving him a quick lesson in helping to run a cabin, as the son of Apate was not confident in his new role as lieutenant counselor. Her phone started ringing just as she entered the town square. She took it out with an annoyed huff, already knowing whose name she'd see when she looked on the screen. "Tristan, stop acting like a child and go teach the actual children how to hold a f*cking sword, or so help me gods," she grunt out, taking a seat on a nearby bench. She set her bow next to her, twisting to remove her quiver from her back.

Skylar: Lounging on the green opposite the bench, Skylar had his head tilted up toward the sky. He'd only been back a couple of days yet the small town already felt more like home than wherever he was staying last. The last few days had been hell, between unpacking and having their furniture delivered late, but it had been worth it just to be back home. He hadn't noticed Rhi as she sat down, instead he was too fixated on whether that cloud over there looked like a sheep or tank.

Rhi: Rhi settled on the bench, stretching her legs out in front of her, knowing this wasn't going to be a quick phone call. She was barely listening to Tristan rant about not knowing why he agreed to the lieutenant position and how kids are gremlins, choosing instead to look around the square. New Athens was going to be a pretty beautiful town, she thought, admiring the trees and the soft looking grass around the square. She had to do a double take when her eyes fell on Skylar. Glen had told her that Skylar was back, so it wasn't entirely unexpected, but she still couldn't help her surprise. Not sure if she wanted to go talk with him, Rhi continued to stare at him, frozen, phone in one hand, the quiver she hadn't set down on the bench yet in the other. When an arrow slipped and fell on the ground in front of her a soft "f*ck" escaped her lips, accompanying the thud of the arrow landing on the floor. Her cheeks instantly turned red and she turned to look somewhere else, feeling like a teenager caught doing something they shouldn't have been.

Skylar: Hearing the thud, Skylar's gaze fell from the sky and toward Rhi who was....blushing? It had been a while since he'd seen that. Around 4 years, in fact. Skylar felt bad about leaving her like that but he knew she deserved better than him - someone who actually loved her and would put her before anyone. Skylar knew he couldn't do that, it was unfair to pretend he could. He slowly raised his hand, acknowledging Rhi's existence and greeting her. Glen had told him she was here, he wasn't sure why - wasn't she with her sister? Still, it was nice to see her again hopefully she wouldn't gut him alive - hopefully.
