Calvin Hood ~ Child of Hypnos
CalvinHood

“You know I'm not interested if I'm asleep.”
Calvin is currently struggling trying to sleep on the bench he is lying on. "Damn. Why is this bench so narrow for me. Have I gotten fat already?" He said, obviously talking to himself as there are no one else there to talk to. He sat down angrily and closed his eyes, crossing his arms as he felt the wind on his face. "Hmm.. hmhmhmm.." He hummed in no certain tone, his eyes still closed.
Character's Bio

 Age: 16  Height: 6'0"  Weight: 61kg
 Sexuality: Straight  Relationship Status: Single
Birth Place: New York  Main Weapon: Dagger -> long CB sword
 Accent: American
 – "Sleeping is nice. You forget about everything a little while."

Character's Powers

 No 3/6/9 yet

  • Offensive
  1. Children of Hypnos have the ability to, upon direct contact, to force someone to fall asleep for a short time; after the effects have worn off, a person is immune to further effects of this for a moderate time. They can also fire a wave of energy with the same effects and limitations. The wave is singular and is only big enough to hit one person.
  2. Children of Hypnos have the ability to cause someone near them to feel extremely tired and become sluggish for a short time. Leaving the target vulnerable to attack.
  • Defensive
  1. Children of Hypnos can project a powerful sleep aura for a short time, anyone around them will automatically fall asleep. The user cannot attack or use their other abilities when the sleep aura is in place, so the power is purely defensive. Also all targets automatically wake up when the sleep aura fades away and they can only use the ability twice in a fight.
  • Passive
  1. Children of Hypnos have the innate ability to cause others to feel mildly tired in their presence. They can shut off this ability for a long time if they wish.
  2. Children of Hypnos have the ability to look into people’s dreams as they sleep.
  3. Children of Hypnos heal faster while they are asleep.
  4. Children of Hypnos are partially conscious while asleep, able to wake themselves up at will.
  • Supplementary
  1. Children of Hypnos can put people to sleep for a short time; after awakening, they will feel extremely refreshed, as if they had just slept a full night. This power can only be used with the target's consent, so it's only useful for aiding allies.
  2. Children of Hypnos can directly contact a sleeping person dreams to either cause paranoia or a blissful dream.
  3. Children of Hypnos can create opium and use it for a multitude of purposes from helping to numb someone's pain to putting someone to sleep or making them feel drugged. The effects of the opium wear off after a short to moderate time. They can even create a field of poppies so tall that it obscures the sight and slows down anyone they are fighting, they only last for a short time before they wither away
  4. Since Hypnos was considered an underworld god, his children have the ability to Shadow Travel ,to teleport from shadow to shadow; the further the distance, the more energy drained.
  • 3 Months After Character is Made
  1. Children of Hypnos can take control of another person’s body while they are asleep for a short time, however they cannot force the opponent to harm themselves; the person being controlled feels as if they are dreaming and will vaguely remember the experience.
  • 6 Months After Character is Made
  1. Children of Hypnos are able to curse someone into feeling like they haven’t slept in a week, the target cannot fall asleep in this state. They are forced to fight the user while being exhausted. The curse only lasts for a moderate amount of time and the target will receive their strength back afterwards, they are immune to further use of the curse for the rest of the fight. The user is substantially drained.
  • 9 Months After Character is Made
  1. Children of Hypnos can draw power from all the actions and desires for sleep they’ve seen, felt, or committed in their lives and become an embodiment of sleep. This would make them more powerful and immune to all attacks, enhancing their physical prowess and power over sleep they previously possessed. This only lasts for a short time, after which the user will be so exhausted they’d lack the ability to even move for some time and could even faint. If they pass out from the transformation, they cannot remain conscious and quickly regain their strength.
  • Traits
  1. It is not uncommon for children of Hypnos to suffer from narcolepsy, a sleep disorder that causes excessive sleepiness and frequent daytime sleep attacks.
  2. Children of Hypnos are typically lazy and enjoy sleeping, causing them to purposely fall asleep whenever they please.
  3. Children of Hypnos are partially immune to the waters of the River Lethe, since the river runs through their father’s domain.
  4. Since their father resides in the realm of eternal darkness, children of Hypnos normally feel more comfortable in dark areas.

Althea "Thea" A. Jansen ~ Intellectual Perfectionist
Thea WB

“Always have the upper hand.”
Thea had just left the Athena Cabin wearing her blue tank top and some cargo pants. She was in the middle of tying her hair into a bun when she passed by Calvin and can't help but eavesdrop into his musings. A spontaneous chuckle left her, noting how he had not yet noticed her. "Perhaps your clothes are just too thick?" She asks back in amusement.
Character's Bio

 Age: 17  Height: 5'6  Weight: 130 lbs
 Sexuality: Hetero  Relationship Status: Single
Birth Place: Cambridge, England  Main Weapon: Charmed Celestial Bronze Keris
 Accent: Slight British Accent
 – "Insanity is to be lost in a new state of mind. Forever. The problem is, I don't want to come back."

Character's Powers

Offensive

  1. Children of Athena have the ability to see each specific pressure point on another person and are proficient at striking them in order to immobilize or greatly pain another person for a short time.
  2. Children of Athena are changed during battle and become stronger and quicker in combat than a normal human could achieve.

Defensive

  1. Children of Athena are able to generate loose materials or manipulate any loose materials found around them to weave a wall. The wall obstructs the view of anyone facing them, and also blunts attacks. However, it does not stop attacks entirely, it is only capable of slowing the attacks down (possibly say that the wall will cut like a bunch of woven stuff or something ~ spiders and what not).
  2. Children of Athena, using their inclinations of battle and strategy, can most of the time, predict the course of action an opponent attacking them will take, and and are able to dodge or parry accordingly. However, if the prediction is wrong this may cost the child of Athena dearly.

Passive

  1. Children of Athena have the innate ability of hyper-cognition. They are able to perform more complex mental operations than a normal human could achieve. They are able to process thoughts and learning far quicker than others with little cognitive effort.
  2. Children of Athena have innate battle reflexes which allows them to fight and dodge quickly.
  3. Children of Athena are able to communicate with and command owls. If the user gives too many commands, the owls will become frustrated and disobey.

Supplementary

  1. Children of Athena have the ability to empower strength and intelligence upon nearby allies and instil fear upon nearby enemies with a deafening war cry for a short time.
  2. Children of Athena have minor telepathic abilities, making them able to telepathically communicate with their allies and read the current thoughts of an opponent’s mind. But this mind reading does not always work.
  3. Children of Athena through telepathy are able to alter the moods of a person or group of people for a short time. They are able to make an ally calmer and more courageous or an opponent panicked or depressed. Once a target has suffered from this power, they become resistant to it for a moderate amount of time.
  4. Children of Athena can curse an opponent, temporarily ruining their ability to formulate battle strategies for a short time. With this curse, the target would only think up rather silly and quite awful strategies. This gives the user a chance to attack or flee. Ex: The target would fake a heart attack and fall back on the ground, thinking the user would believe it and give up on the fight.

3 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Athena, due to the strength of their minds, are gifted with the ability of clairvoyance. They are able gain information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than the known human senses, for example beyond their normal sensory range or when unable to use their physical senses. Some techniques of clairvoyance are veridical dreaming, scrying and parasight.

6 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Athena can curse an opponent with severe stupidity and ignorance, temporarily stripping them of their intelligence and knowledge. The curse can cause an opponent to lose their common sense, fighting skill and tactical abilities. The target could even be unsure how to swing a sword or use their powers properly. After a short time, the curse will wear off and the target will regain their intelligence and knowledge. Their minds will be resistant to further use of the curse for a moderate time and the user will be substantially drained.

9 Months After Character is Made

  1. Children of Athena can turn into a normal sized owl of whichever species they select for a short period of time, allowing them flight. The user has the option to grow into a giant owl, it can be up to 2 to 3 times bigger than their size as a human. This will make the transformation more draining. As a giant owl, the user would be twice as fast as a normal owl mid-flight, be able to transport allies and possess a very loud scream. After the transformation, they are extremely drained. Unable to move and they could possibility faint.

Traits

  1. Children of Athena are normally very intelligent, wise and clever. Able to easily excel in school.
  2. Children of Athena tend to be very adept at weaving, pottery and other crafts.
  3. Children of Athena typically have the potential to become great soldiers, agents or generals. Able to perform remarkable feats within the Military.
  4. Children of Athena can grow up to make great scholars, teachers, professors and scientists.
Powers 3, 6, 9 are unlocked.

Specialized Abilities

  1. Vibration Sensing: Her silat training also taught her to sense the location of a person or object without seeing within a close vicinity by detecting their energy vibrations. The training basically involved going through an obstacle course blindfolded, and several breathing techniques.
  2. Heightened Pain Tolerance: The breathing technique mentioned before also helps her manipulate her muscles to pass pain harmlessly. This is done by tensing, or 'steeling' her muscles with each inhale and exhale so that the blow disperses instead of passing through to her vital organs. This allows her to recover extremely quickly after getting hit.
  3. Hand-to-Hand Combat: After 16 years of learning pencak silat, her body is now a deadly tool of precision and accuracy. She attacks with complex combinations of kicks, punches, spins, sweeps, and locks.

RP

Calvin: He opened his eyes, surprised that someone replied to him. He looked at her in the eyes, 100% bored to talk but still insisted. "Who're you? I don't talk to strangers." He said, unexpectedly yawning after.

Thea: She raised an eyebrow, even more amused now. "But you're talking to me right now." Thea crossed her arms and tilted her head to the side. "If you don't want to talk to me, why would you want to know who I am?"

Calvin: Calvin smiled, quite amused of her attitude. "Well, you got me there." He said, closing his eyes once more. "Now, could you please scoot away. I'm trying desperately to sleep comfortably here." He said, shoving her away with the proper hand gesture.

Thea: She chuckled again, but kept her gaze on him. "You know, when most people want to sleep comfortably, they tend to sleep in beds." But as she said this, Thea was already slowly walking away. "Not benches!"

Calvin: "Well, you know, a lazy one does not simply go back to his or her cabin just to sleep. He or she finds a simple way to one's problem, that's the rule of the lazies." He said, feeling proud of himself. He flinched, hearing the girl exclaim not that loud enough, but that enough made him surprised. "Hey! Don't go shouting at someone you don't know!" He answered back, trying to see if she could still hear his response.

Thea: She halted in her steps, allowing laughter to ring from her throat. It was probably the loudest laugh she's had since arriving at camp not too long ago. "I should say the same to you!" One thing she's noticed, is that for someone who was so lazy, Calvin definitely did not mind bothering himself to respond to a conversation.

Calvin: "You're so annoying." He said, before shifting into another position, but ended up falling on the ground because of the narrow bench. "Fuck this!" He shouted as he stood up, then pointed his index finger at Thea. "This is your fault." Calvin decided to just sit down on the bench, crossed his arms once again and eyed Thea.

Thea: Despite the not-so-kind remarks Calvin threw at her, Thea remained with a smile on her face. She merely let out a soft chuckle at him falling off his bench, and felt her smile widen as he accused her for causing his little tumble. "Well, I did warn you." The young demigod began to walk back to Calvin with her hand in her pockets. Leaning back on the heels of her feet, she gave him an amused smile in turn of his eyeing. There was not a hint of smugness in it, just pure amusement. "You should at least choose a bigger bench."

Calvin: "Hmm.." He hummed, wearing his boring expression. "I don't get you. I'm trying to be mean to you and you're just there.. smiling?" He cringed, trying to make fun of it. "Ehhh! You're annoying plus weird. Double package, huh?" Calvin gave her a thumbs up, a playful grin visible on his face.

Thea: "Well, I nearly lost my mind trying to be normal. So." She gave a shrug with only one shoulder. "I'll take that as a compliment." Her smile is sincere, but her eyes were unreadable. Thinking. Pondering. She let out a small him before snapping back to reality and looking at him. "Weird is so much better than normal anyway."

Calvin: "Hmm.. Is this the time where I'll say Same!?" He said, nodding his head slowly. "I'm glad that there are other people who accepts their inner weirdness and eventually feels proud of oneself." He added before looking at her. "Aren't you getting tired just standing there?" Patting the space beside him, he added. "Come sit here. I'm not gonna eat you, anyway." He said, suddenly using his thick American accent.

Thea: She was surprised. Pleasantly surprised. But still, she had some suspicions at the sudden offer. "Why, how kind of you." Her own British accent rang clear. She sits at the spot he patted and leaned back on the back-rest casually. "Are you going to tell me who you are now?"

Calvin: "Well, if I tell you that I'm your conscience, I'd doubt that you would believe me." He reacted, whining his head as he chuckled after. He turned to her and offered his hand, expecting a simple handshake. "I'm Calvin Hood. Son of Hypnos." He introduced himself, smiling after.

Thea: "I just might." She hummed, smiling a bit wider as she rocked back on the bench. "At least I'll be glad my conscience is pleasant to look at." She says this honestly, crossing her legs on the bench. "Althea Jansen. Daughter of Athena." She gave his hand a firm shake and looked up at the sky.

Calvin: "I like your name. It's.. weird." He said, chuckling again. He looked up at the sky just like her after their shakehand, trying to see what made her look at it. "So.. the sky's beautiful?" He said that supposed to be a compliment towards the sky but ended up being a question.

Thea: "Well, mostly I prefer Thea." She added, smiling widely. "But thank you." Her eyes stared at tha sky a while longer before looking back at him. "I think it is. But I also think it will rain soon."

Calvin: "Well, Thea's too mainstream for that name. I thought you would prefer Althy instead of Thea." He said as a joke, smirking after. He looked back at her and shrugged his shoulders in response to what she just said. "Maybe yes, maybe no." He closed his eyes once again, feeling calm as he hear the sound of nature that surrounds them. The sound of the trees' leaves brushing each other as the wind pass by them. He may be considered a weirdo for smiling with his eyes closed but oh well, he is a weirdo.

Thea: "Althy..." She closed her eyes and allowed the name to seep into her brain, playing it back and forth until she felt satisfied. "I like it." Opening her eyes again, she raised an eyebrow to accompany her amused smile. "Well, maybe everyone else was just too mainstream to give me something as good as Althy." She then leaned back casually on the bench, watching him close his eyes and smile. And she curiously followed suit. After a while, however, she asks, "What are we doing?"

Calvin: He opened his left eye, his right eye remaining closed, looking at her with a confused expression. "I don't know. Why're you even copying me? I'm doing my own weird thing." He finished, closing both his eyes, letting out a single breathe of his. "This is how I relax anyway, Althy." He said, emphasizing Althy.

Thea: "Hmm... I suppose you're right." She opened her gray eyes and sat up straight, letting her legs uncross and hang over the bench seat. "I should be going anyway." She laughed softly. "I almost forgot what I set out to do." And with that, she stood. "Well, it's been a pleasure, Calvin." But deep down she didn't really want to leave.

Calvin: "Okay. Just be sure to not be stupid and get caught on some traps on the way there, Althy." He half-joked, but of course partly worried of something. He gave her a goodbye gesture before letting her leave. He prepared himself to lay down on the bench, waiting for her to stand up and leave.

Thea: "Well I'll certainly try." She said this with a soft laugh, and soon turned around to walk towards the training arena. However, something shiny was left on the bench where she sat; a necklace. Its clip was broken, so it must have fallen from her neck. Thea didn't quite notice this however, as she entered the jungle arena and started practicing her agility. But her mind was not clear. It was clouded with thoughts of the moment she'd spent with Calvin and she wasn't quite sure why. This allowed one of the larger creatures in the arena to attack her, nearly mauling her before she threw herself into a ditch. Unfortunately, her leg was broken and gashed badly, and her shoulder had popped out of its socket. Writhing in pain, she was trapped and cursing herself for being so unfocused. She was embarrassed deep down, and half glad no one was around to see her that way. But on the other hand, she feared she had done herself in for it.

Calvin: Calvin watched Althy as she walked away and towards to where she'd go. He noticed something fall of her before she stood up; a necklace. He picked it up and felt a little responsibility to bring it back to her. He quickly stood up and ran to where Althy walked towards earlier. He asked people he encountered if they saw her and luckily they did. They said that she was heading to the jungle arena, but before he could go there, he asked directions for it because he just got to camp a few days ago and had no time to tour around. Once he got there, holding the necklace on his right hand, he heard someone as if in pain, screaming. He followed to where he heard the sound and saw a hole. He peeked below it, seeing a heavily bruised Althy. He put down the necklace and reached out his both hands for Althy to grab.

Thea: Hearing footsteps approach, Thea was both horrified and relieved. She was glad someone found her, but at the same time oh so embarrassed to be seen this way. A pair of familiar blue eyes peeked down from the ledge above, and her lips uttered one word, "Calvin..." Her throat was hoarse from the screaming, and her body ached. No matter how hard she tried to tolerate it. And then both his hands came down to pull her up. She could only move one hand back to grab his, and already she was wincing in pain. "W- what are you doing here?" She managed. There was a hint of confusion and curiosity in her pained voice.

Calvin: "Isn't it obvious that I'm helping you?" He said, lifting Althy up and successfully does it. "I just warned you earlier and now.." He didn't finish what he said but instead picked up the necklace, placing it on Althy's palm. "It seems that you can't walk properly. Let me lend a hand, Althy." After that, he didn't utter another word and simply positioned himself for a piggyback. He nodded his head at her, telling her to get on him.

Thea: "Yes but... How did you find me?" She fell silent as he returned the necklace to her. Her hand clasped it shakily and suddenly she didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry." Was all that came out. Seeing him offer a piggyback, Thea had to swallow her pride deep down and accept the help. Limping over to him and slinging her good arm over his shoulder. Her body pressed to his, she winced softly in pain. "I'm sorry." She says again. "I'll try not to get too much blood on you..."

Calvin: "It's fine." He said, lifting her up once again, securing his grip on her legs. "Next time, be careful, okay?" Calvin said, starts walking back to the bench they where sitted earlier. Once they got there, he put her down on the bench, sitted properly. "Let's stay here for a moment or should I bring you to the clinic?" He offered, but inside him, he was deeply tired of engaging in such activity. He leaned towards her and pressed lightly on her broken leg. "Hurts?" He asked, looking at her.

Thea: In truth, she was deeply surprised at what he said. No one had ever told her that except... She struggled to think his name, but inhaled and allowed the memory to pass. He was at peace, and so was she. It was better for both of them to move on. So after a long pause, she said to Calvin the exact same phrase she always told her dear departed friend, "I promise I will." Thea tried her best not to aggravate her leg when he set her down on the bench they sat on previousky, but forgot about her shoulder and winced a bit in pain. Despite the agony she was currently experiencing, one look at Calvin and she knew he was worn out, and said, "I'm fine... You've helped me so much already." Her eyes drifted to the gash on her broken leg. "I can get there on my own. Somehow." And then his hand came and pressed on the position of the fracture, causing her body to jolt and her to cry out in pain. Her eyes were shut now, but she took in deep breaths and bit into the pain, adjusting to it. She gave a nod.

Calvin: "Tsk tsk tsk." Calvin said, whining his head. "It doesn't seem like it. I know you're hurt." Pressing once again on the location of the fracture, he saw her winced the reason for him to stop. He sighed before sitting beside her on the bench and this time, touching her injured shoulder. "You promised to be careful but who knows what'll happen when you get there by yourself like this, right?" He said strictly, his habit of not wanting anyone to get hurt even though it has nothing to do with him. He is seriously worried after what happened to her earlier but doesn't show it and that's because of his persona. "I'll accompany you there or maybe another piggyback?" He offered once again, his hand patting her back lightly.

Thea: His touch did not aggravate her dislocated shoulder very much. As long as he didn't press. "I just wasn't myself today. At training." She told him. Excuses, excuses. She knew. But Thea had a pride, and she hated to be seen weak by anyone. However, she was also rational. And she knew she wouldn't even make three steps without falling on her face. Rather ungracefully. Calvin's sudden pat on her back made her groan somewhat in pain. Her body ached. "I suppose... I could use an escort... But you don't have to carry me. Just... Help me walk." She chose her words carefully. Wondering how much she owed him now. "I'll make it up to you. I swear."

Calvin: "Okay, sure." He said, stood up first before helping Althy to stand next. Holding her arms for assistance while his other free hand is guiding her back, they started to walk. He looked down for a second and saw his shirt with blood markings. He sighed before talking to himself, which is his hobby, not minding even if Althy might hear it. "Damn. Engaging myself in something like this? Now I need to wash my clothes after. Tch." Whining his head, he gritted his teeth.

Thea: She limped and hobbled, trying her best to conserve what little dignity she had left. Her chin up, and face composed, Thea tried her best not to shift her burden too much on Calvin. As quiet as he might've been, she still heard what he said. There was a pang on her pride, and the child of Athena swallowed back her shame. "I'll clean it for you. Everything." The words left her before her brain even processed what she'd said. "As thanks." Her eyes looked forward, and didn't dare look at him. Or he'd see how very ashamed she was of herself for having to be so... Reliant.

Calvin: "Don't worry. I'm fine, Althy." He said, looking at her again, still helping her struggling in walking. His hand that was guiding her back came down and help her hips and pulled Althy closer to Calvin. "No need to be ashamed of yourself." He said as if reading Althy's mind. "We all have that time where we need to lower our pride and just accept someone who we can trust and rely on them." He commented, nodding his head slowly, waiting for her response. "Right?"

Thea: Her cheeks burned, turning a bright shade of pink when his hand moved to her hip and pulled her closer to him. Plus, he'd just declined her offer; making him seem like such a gentleman in her eyes. Then again, most demigods were well-mannered. Especially the men. But she just sensed something different about Calvin, especially when he more or less just read her mind. Her eyes wide, Thea looked at him with surprise, luckily the blush no longer on her cheeks. "How did you know...?"

Calvin: "Trust me." He said before chuckling, a sweet smile visible on his face. "And besides.." His other hand on her hip earlier is now trailing on the way to her shoulders. "I'm always here that you can trust and rely on." He half-joked, tapped on her right shoulder once before playfully winking at her.

Thea: And just as fast as it disappeared, her blush appeared once again. Her eyes watched with fascination at how his entire face changed when he smiled sweetly at her, and her heart rammed her ribcage when she felt him trail up his hand to her shoulder, tapping it. "Well- I-" Thea cut her sentence short seeing his wink, and she was once again rendered speechless. Gray eyes shifting to their feet, she cleared her throat. "Thank you."

Calvin: His free hand that tapped his shoulder earlier pinched Althy's right cheek. "You're cuter when you blush." He whispered, still walking as they saw the clinic already near them. "Yeah, fortunately, we're almost here." He said, his gaze towards the clinic as he starts to walk fast, still helping her.

Thea: "Ouch." She responded spontaneously, despite it not really hurting. She was just to flustered to say anything else, or even avert the topic. Again, her heart rammed into her chest when he whispered the five words into her ear. 'You're cuter when you blush.' No one had ever complimented her as fondly since her best friend. Well, technically a lot of humans did, but she never really cared for them. Her eyes then fixed on the clinic before them, both in relief and a bit of disappointment. "Yes, I suppose we are..." She looked around nervously. "Would you mind accompanying me in there? I know the procedures in order to fix my ankle and shoulder are going to be painful... And I don't want to be without someone I don't know."

Calvin: "Sure, I don't mind." He said, smiling sweetly again as they approach the entrance of the clinic. Calvin opened the door, helping Althy to get inside before letting her sit down on a vacant seat, waiting for someone to assist them. He waited while standing up, his back leaning on the wall, humming in no certain tone, his eyes looking down. He shifted his weight from his left foot to his right and vice-versa which he has a habit of doing. He then decided to just sit down beside Althy, resting his right arm around her neck before nodding his head down, attempting to sleep.

Thea: A small, happy smile graced her lips at Calvin's response, and honestly she felt so much better about going through the re-setting of her shoulder and ankle. She sat idly and waited for one of the Apollo kids to come aid her. However, Thea was once again surprised when Calvin sat next to her and wrapped his arm around her. Her body tensed up, but otherwise she didn't prevent him from doing anything. Her cheeks red, she discreetly watched him sleep.

Cole: "A new patient!" She exclaimed happily seeing Thea and Calvin enter. Being new to the camp, this was also her very first patient, and Cole was more than excited to heal her first demigod. Walking over to Thea, she had to restrain a coo from leaving her mouth at seeing Calvin and Thea together. "Hey there! I'm Cole, and I'll be..." She struck a 'cool' pose. "Your doctor today." She beamed at Thea. "You look awful, dude. Step over here and I'll fix you right up."

Calvin: He quickly woke up, hearing someone talk sudden and loud which made him wince. "Damn, so noisy." He said, trying to recover from the sudden awakening before eyeing the loud girl. Seconds had passed before he realized that the loud girl in front of them is the one who'll treat Althy so he decided to quickly shut up and not anymore talkshit about her noisiness. "Oh, well.. Sorry about that." He said, looking down, feeling embarrassed of nothing.

Thea: She was brought to the bed by Cole, and glanced back at Calvin with a hint of worry. "This is gonna hurt." Cole told her, and without warning, snapped her shoulder back in place. Thea let out a scream of pain just as Cole snapped her ankle back. The child of Athena pretty much collapsed back on the bed as Cole rubbed the back of her neck. "Well, that's done. I'll get some stuff to treat your wounds." And the child of Apollo went off somewhere in the clinic. Thea blinked slowly. "Ouch."

Calvin: "What the.. fuck?" He whispered under his breath as he saw the loud girl violently treating Althy's wounds. He went to the bed and checked on Althy before following to where the loud girl is, tapped on the her shoulder before talking. "Well, that was pretty fast." He said, a confused look on his face. "Are you sure she's already fine, doc?" Worried, he pointed his index finger towards to where the bed is, referring to Althy.

Cole: "Hm?" She turned around upon the sudden tap on her shoulder. Looking at Calvin, she chuckled. "Yeah, she's totally fine. All that's left is to treat her external wounds." Turning around, Cole revealed that she was now carrying an antibiotic, some cotton, sutures (needle and thread for stitching open wounds), and some bandages. "Don't worry, your girlfriend will be on her feet in no time!"

Calvin: "Uhh.. what?" He said, his confused look more clearer this time. He followed her back to where the bed is before tapping her shoulder again. "He isn't my girlfriend." Calvin clarified, looking at Althy before turning back his gaze to the loud girl. "Besides, it hurts if I'll have a girlfriend who's probably stronger than me." He half-joked, showing his sweet smile at the loud girl after.

Cole: As soon as she got back to Thea, the real treatment began; all the wounds were cleaned and then stitched closed before being bandaged with an antibiotic. She barely heard what Calvin said, and Thea was too distracted by pain to notice. Cole only managed to catch his last sentence. "Aww really? Because you guys looked like you were a couple." She wrapped Thea's ankle and then her shoulder. "But could you please make sure she doesn't go back to the training arena any time soon? And remind her to back in two weeks to get her stitches removed, and to change her bandages twice a day."

Calvin: "Okay, I got that." He said, giving the loud girl a double thumbs up while showing a quick smile. He turned to Althy before repeating what the loud girl said earlier. "You heard that, right? I need to make sure you won't be stupid enough again to go back to the training arena in that condition, 'kay?" He assured her, waiting for her response.

Thea: After several slow, deep breaths, Althea slowly sat up and looked at her bandages with glazed eyes. Afterwards, she looked back to Calvin and nodded. "It's probably for the best. I tend to habitually wander there otherwise." Her gray eyes then shifted to Cole. "Thank you for treating me. Even though I question your methods." The Apollo child merely laughed and shrugged her shoulders. Thea looked back to Calvin and asked softly. "Will you take me back to the Athena Cabin...?"

Calvin: "Sure, sure." He said, sighing again before walking towards her. "Should I give you another piggyback ride again or just simply help you walk?" He asked her the options before shrugging both his shoulders that simply says it's up to her.

Thea: His sigh made her re-think her request to him. Calvin had done so much for her already... Perhaps this was crossing the line. "You- don't have to. If you don't want to." She managed in an even voice. Sitting up, Thea forced herself to a stand and began limping to the door, inhaling deeply with each step. You can do this, Thea, you can do this. She told herself mentally.

Calvin: He sighed again before grabbing both her arms, helping her to just stand still. "I could walk you on the way." Calvin suggested, not wanting Althy to go alone in that condition. "I know you're thinking that you already owe so much to me but the good thing is I'm helping. I'm not letting you go alone." He insisted, nodding at her as he stared deep into her eyes, trying to convince her. But the stare quickly turned into a sweet smile before he talked once again. "Okay?" He asked, still smiling.

Thea: She gave a subtle flinch, her cheeks burning red at his touch, and Gods, her knees grew weaker than it already was. He kept reading her mind! His blue eyes bore into her gray ones, and for once there was a glint of life in them. Why did he have to be so... Ridiculously charming? Clearing her throat, she gently took his hands off her shoulders, and held them in both of her's. "Alright then." She slowly let go of them and started out the door once again. "Keep me company." And she flashed back her own sweet smile.

Calvin: Calvin smirked after Althy flashed back a smile at him. He followed her outside, watching her back as she tries not to struggle and just walk normally. "Be careful though. But if you're stupid enough to not be careful, I'm just right at your back." He said.

Thea: She gave him a shrug with her good shoulder, turning her head around slightly so he could see her smile. But she kept walking. Keeping off of her bad foot.

Calvin: He positioned himself beside her, circling his arms around her neck. "I don't trust you though." He said, referring to the 'Be careful' warning he said earlier.

Thea: She raised an eyebrow, her smile transforming into a smirk. "Are you sure?" She turned her head slightly as she spoke, so that her breath tickled his neck. "Or do you just want an excuse to hold me this way?"

Calvin: "Well, well. You, miss, got some guts." He said before ruining her hair using his hand whose arm is still circled around her neck. "But honestly, I do want to hold you this way. And it seems that you don't mind at all or should I say that.. you like it too?" He teased her, whispering the emphasized words before quickly licking a part of her ear and faced the front.

Thea: She gave a small grunt as his hand ran through her silk locks, throwing them out of position even more. Her cheeks grew warm at his statement, but she couldn't really deny it either. Instinctively she bit into her lower lip, feeling his breath tickle her neck and sending shivers up her spine. And then... Oh god, his tongue across her ear. She gave a small hitch of a breath, face reddening tremendously. Heart pounding. "C- Calvin..." She slowly looked at him, a small frown on her face. "Why did you do that?"

Calvin: "What?" He turned to her, acting innocently as if nothing happened earlier. He shrugged both his shoulders before answering her question. "I just licked your ear. Why? Don't you like it?" He smirked before continuing what he was saying. "Or do you want me to lick another part of your body?" He whispered to her again, obviously suggesting something but he's just actually teasing her. His hand that was circling his neck was now trailing down to her hips and pulled her closer to him before looking at her and teasingly wriggled his eyebrows.

Thea: In all her life, Thea had never been flirted to before. At least, not in this way. Her cheeks burned and she didn't know how to respond. She just stared at him like an idiot, as if he'd grown a second head. Her heart beat rapidly, but the feeling of being dominated didn't quite settle well with her. So sucking a breath and calming herself steadily, she pressed the side of her hip against his, lifting her face up to show off her jawline and smooth neck. She raised an eyebrow and began to turn the tables on him. "What makes you think you can handle me?" A small smirk grew on her lips as she leaned into his ear to whisper. "You did say I was stronger than you."

Calvin: "Ohohoho. I like that. Turning the tables on me, huh?" He grinned, quite amused of her. "I admit that I did say that earlier. But I can handle you ins some ways and can be stronger than you.. in bed." He whispered back, letting his breathe tickle the insides of her ear. He chuckled before once again facing the front. On the other hand, his grip went down on her bottom, squishing it lightly, frankly teasing her and trying hard not to make himself roll on the floor, laughing.

Thea: She gave a roll of her eyes, feeling his hand squeeze her bum. "That's not very gentlemanly." She hummed, reaching back and running her hand down his arm until she found his hand. She gave it a small caress and squeeze before pulling it off of her. "I might have second thoughts." Slowly she began to feel her legs return and she walked properly. So with a grateful twirl, she unwinded herself from his arm, but still held his hand. "Gotta respect it if you wanna have it." She winked.

Calvin: "Nah, I'm just messing with you, Althy." He finally gave up, squeezing his grip on her hand tighter and released it after. "I don't wanna get salvaged by you, you know that." He said, smiling apologetically. He noticed that she's already on her own foot so he distanced himself a meter away from her. "It seems that you don't need anymore help on the way there. I'll just be here whenever you need something. I doubt that you even need something from me though." He said, attempting to walk away.

Thea: It almost broke her heart, that their time together was over already. She had hoped that at least he could've taken her to her cabin, like he said, but realized how ridiculous she truly was. Clenching her fists, she looked down, chiding herself for believing that he meant anything he said. Everything he said. Did he? She didn't know. "But you said..." Thea allowed her voice to trail off, and stopped talking. He was just teasing. Probably the entire time. She felt like a fool. "...Never mind. Thank you for your help." And she began walking on her own, if not a little slowly because of her injuries.

Calvin: A smirk planted on his face before turning back to Althy, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Just kidding, babe. You really think I'll leave you on your own just like that?" He said before walking beside her, casually snaking his arm on around her neck like before. He laughed before looking at her. "Just kidding again."

Thea: Her smile was a little less meaningful, her body language a lot less relaxed. She tugged at her bandages uncomfortably at his touch and closeness. But she didn't move away, probably not having the power to do so in the first place. "Yes." Her eyes darted to the side, escaping his. "Funny."

Calvin: Just like reading her mind as usual, he commented. "Now, now, Althy. Don't feel so uncomfortable." He said, distancing himself away to assure her. "I was just joking, anyways." Giving her an apologetic smile, he bowed his head.

Thea: "You weren't... Joking the whole time... Right?" So unlike her to ask with hesitation, lacking the confidence she usually had. But she needed to know. If he was joking the whole time then... None of the things he did and said that made her happy or... Flustered, meant anything.

Calvin: "Of course not!" He exclaimed, looking at her. "I'm not that kind of person, Althy." He averted his gaze by lowering his head once again, letting out a sigh. "Do you.. like.. hate me or something?" He asked her.

Thea: Her eyes remained glued to him, watching his body language. With her telepathy, she could tell he meant it, and he meant well. But... There was a wound in her heart that reopened after their little... Friction. She hoped some of it were true, she didn't know why. She just missed having someone to hold on to... To actually depend on and trust. She thought he would be it. "No. Hate would be too strong a word." And then she said honestly, "But I am wary of you now."

Calvin: " Hey, I'm sorry for anything." He apologized after sighing, holding Althy's both shoulders, trying to face him to her. "I know I may be an asshole sometimes but I don't play people's feelings, okay?" He reassured her, nodding exactly three times. "And hey, I don't think that this is the right time but I'm starting to like you." Showing her his quick sweet smile once again, he removed his grip on her shoulders before talking again. ”I'm not a bad guy, okay!" He exclaimed again, nodding his head once more a multiple times before laughing for a short while.

Thea: Without needing to read his mind, she already knew that he was being genuine. She could just feel it somehow. And she was supposed to be the most emotionally detached person on camp. She didn't say a word. But instead, she leaned in to his face and gently brushed her lips against his cheek. There was a small tingle in her stomach. A flutter. And her heart swelled with pleasant emotions. It almost surprised her. She took hold of his hand, and resumed their walk. But not towards the Athena cabin, no. She began walking towards the beach where they could spend more time together.

Calvin: He placed a hand on the part of his cheek that Althy gave a quick peck while smiling. He didn't mind Althy holding his hand and taking him to who knows, but instead, felt a little happiness in him. He didn't know what to say and suddenly felt this shyness so he just folllwed her behind, his hand still on her grip. They finally reached the destination, the beach, where Calvin could make out since he could hear the waves on the shore. "Uhh, hey." He approached Althy.

Thea: Just as she expected, the beach was empty that time of day. Gray eyes scanning around for a moment, she soon let go of his hand and started to sit on the sand. Calvin's footsteps echoed behind her, crunching the sand beneath. She looked up when he called. "Hm?"

Calvin: He sat beside her on the dirty white sand, his hand massaging its surface before talking back. "I thought we were heading to your cabin? Why stop here?" He asked her, playing the sand on his hands.

Thea: She allowed a long pause between them, the crashing waves filling the silence along with the occasional seagull cry. "I didn't want to say goodbye yet." Her voice was clear, no hint of hesitation or lies. She stared ahead, her hands idly laid on her lap.

Calvin: He laughed loudly before pausing for a while. "You're talking as if I'm leaving you. I just met you earlier and.." He paused again before turning his head to her, continuing his sentence. "..you're one hell of a girl. You surprise me, I admit that. And I like surprises." He stared ahead just like she was before shouldering her playfully. "So, don't talk like I'm leaving you cause I won't."

Thea: She finally allowed a smile to pull her lips, listening to him speak. "Yes, yes I am." Her smile became a smirk and she looked back to him. "And I know you won't. I just wanted to hear you say it." Sneakily, she placed her hand on top of his on the sand.

Calvin: He chuckled before taking a grip of her hand and casually shows it to her. "Heyy~ What's the meaning of this?" He teasingly asked her, wriggling his eyebrows.

Thea: She looked at their hands. Intertwined. Interlaced. She slipped her fingers between his and shrugged, a smirk on her face. "What? You don't like it?"

Calvin: "I don't like it, I love it!" He laughed then give her a quick sweet smile. "Oh, wait. I think I forgot something I owe you." He said as he leaned his face on her, giving him a short kiss on her cheeks. "Something like that." Shrugging his shoulders, he acted as if nothing happened. He, then, pouted his lips cutely. "Well, I might want to do more than that." He joked.

Thea: Her smile grew wider. "Good." She squeezed his hand. Her cheeks grew warm when he leaned in, and her heart skipped a beat when his lips touched her skin. Eyes wide, she couldn't look away from him, even after he pulled back. However, keeping her confidence, she hummed softly. "You'll have to impress me before I give you more of anything."

Calvin: "Well, unfortunately, I'm not really good at impressing people." He explained, casually mid-embracing Althy by snaking his arm around her neck again. "And besides.." He stopped mid-sentence, pinching her nose lightly before continuing. "Since it's you, I'll try hard." Playfully winking for the nth time, he let out a soft laugh after while shaking his head.

Thea: She watched him as his arm returned around her neck, and flinched slightly when he pinched her nose. With a small, playful glare, she shook her head to get his hand off and bumped him back with her shoulder. "Since it's you... I don't think you really need to try that hard anyway." She turned her head, her face dangerously close to his.

Calvin: He grinned back before pulling back and averting his gaze, staring ahead. "Is there something bad about trying hard?" He asked, scratching his head. "I'll do anything." He noted, assuring her but actually, he was just half-joking. Knowing how big the phrase 'I'll do anything' is, he silenced himself, waiting for her response.

Thea: "No, no, there's nothing bad about it... Sometimes." She looked at him, a genuine smile on her face when he told her he'd to anything. Normally, she wouldn't even hesitate on the offer. She'd grab it the first chance she got, being the manipulative person she was. But now... It felt different. She couldn't take advantage of him. "I've never done anything for you... But..." Her hand cradled his own, fitting perfectly together. She moved closer to him and said seriously, "Kiss me. I want you to be my first kiss."

Calvin: He looked at her in shock, obviously surprised of her sudden actions. "W-What?.. Why me?" He asked her first before holding her hand on his, expecting an answer. He looked down, away from her gaze, trying to calm himself. This was his first time a girl he liked asked him to kiss her, seriously. So, because of the fresh scenario, it's obvious that he'd be nervous. "I don't easily take one's firsts, you know." He noted again to her.

Thea: Her eyes were suddenly filling with pain; something unusual on her normally emotionless gray irises. Along with this, she began to squeeze his hand, prying her gaze to his lap. "...You helped me feel again." She whispered softly. "And I haven't felt anything in a long, long time..." Slowly, however, she began to pull her hand back from him, eyes back to her own lap. "But I understand if you wish not to." She covered her face, slightly, barely, with her hand. "It was silly of me to ask..."

Calvin: Calvin sighed, seeing Althy pull back with a disappointed look that only he could notice. "No, no. It's all right." He said as he placed his hand on her cheek, slowly facing her face to him before his lips touched hers. It was just a simple, not-too-long but passionate kiss that urged him to smile as he pulled back.

Thea: Her eyes widened somewhat. Granted, before she even realized what was going on, she suddenly felt gentle lips against her's. They were soft and warm, and it made her heart flutter pleasantly in her chest. But just as quickly as it started, it was over. Reaching up, she tenderly grasped his hand that held her cheek. She closed her eyes and leaned into his palm. "Thank you..."

Calvin: "You're welcome..." He said as he put his other free hand onber head, combing her hair. "Hm.. But tou still didn't answer my question in detail." He said, stopping what his other hand his doing and snaked it down towards her other free hand, holding both her hands, he faced her. "Why me? I'm just curious.."

Thea: Her cheeks grew warm, and she loved how his fingers felt in her hair. Eyes locked with Calvin's blue ones, she brought up their hands to kiss his fingers gently, and began to whisper against it, "You... Reminded me of someone I lost... Very recently..." She closed her eyes, and her long lashes brushed over his skin. "You know what I'm thinking and... You understand me. Not a lot of people do..." She smirked a bit. "And it also helped that you were good looking."

Calvin: He smiled before coming up with with a mild joke. "Well, it isn't that hard to understand you since you were so obvious." After laughing, he leaned closer to her again and gave her a peck on her forehead, getting addicted of this so called kissing. "So, I really am handsome?!" He exclaimed, chuckling after before turning his body backwards and made the fist gesture. "Yes!" He whispered to himself, closed eyes, as if he was a victor of some kind of game. He turned back to her and gave another sweet smile, which he is professional at doing.

Thea: She laughed at his joke this time, closing her eyes when his lips found her forehead. She could feel shivers down her spine. She found herself once again laughing at his childish behavior, leaning in to gently peck his nose when he turned back to her. "Yes, I certainly think so." She began inching closer to him. Close enough until their hips touched.

Calvin: He circled his arm around her neck once again before resting his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes. He hummed in no certain tone before asking something to her. "So.. uhm, Althy, if you don't mind. Can you tell me more about this person.. that you recently lost? Why do I remind you of him or her?" He asked softly, not wanting to pressure her be desperate to hear her answer.

Thea: Slowly, she too began to rest her head on top of his. Turning slightly to nuzzle her nose in his hair. "Well..." She began, mumbling into his head. "He was a satyr... And my best friend. He saved me from a harpy when we were little, and we've been close ever since. He was like a brother and... And I loved him." Her voice cracked a little. "When he tried to get me to camp, we... We were chased by hellhounds... And he died... Protecting me."

Calvin: "I'm sorry." He quickly said, not anymore trying to push the topic further for her sake. He pulled her closer to him before talking again after a short silence. "But, at least he died useless and protected you on the way. Thanks to him, you're here beside me and safe." He comforted her, trying to simply lighten up the mood.

Thea: She sniffed lightly and wiped her eyes, stopping the tears that threatened to fall. "It's okay." She smiled softly and squeezed his hand. "Yes, he's in a better place now." Once again, she kissed his head lightly. "And I have you." Her thumb gently caressed his knuckles. "You reminded me of him because... It's so easy for you to know what I'm thinking and what I'm feeling. And you always know what to say to cheer me up. Even though we've just met."

Calvin: He's fighting the urge not to smile but ended up losing. "Yeah, I guess so..." His voice trailed off, not wanting to talk anymore because he's already feeling kinda sleepy and just want to retain in that position with her. He blinked a few times before fully resting the weight of his head on her shoulder, starting to snooze off.

Thea: Smiling, she wrapped her arms around him and cradled his body. She began humming a lullaby from when she lived in Bandung.

Calvin: He even had the time to smile upon hearing Althy sing something for him while holding him in her arms before he completely slept on her shoulder. Absentmindedly and maybe because of his position, his head slid down on her lap but it didn't stop Calvin's nap time.

Thea: Her smile never left her face. Her hands guided him as he began to slide down to her lap, and she let him lay there. She caressed his hair and watched his sleeping face. It brought an odd sense of calm and happiness to her. She finally had someone to hold on to again.

Calvin: He didn't took notice of the time and assumed that he only slept for an hour before waking ul. He whined his head lightly since he doesn't want to disturb Althy before sitting up properly. "Althy..?"

Thea: "Hm?" Her eyes are half lidded, but her smile is still warm all the same. By then, the sun is long gone and the stars and moon had taken over. "Sleep well?" She asked jokingly.

Calvin: "Of course! Since you were there to watch my oh-so admiring face while I was sleeping." He joked back, winking lightly but it still has that playful aura. Noticing that the moon had already taken ober, he stood up before helping Althy to stand up next. "I suggest we should go now?"

Thea: She took his hand gratefully, patting the sand off her pants, and rolled her eyes playfully at his comment. "Or maybe it's because you were using me as a pillow?" She nudged him gently. "But yes, I agree. Let's get going." She held his hand again. "Where to exactly?"

Calvin: "Back to our cabins, I guess?" He suggested, casually gripping her hand, getting the hang of it from time to time.
