Children of Athena are changed during battle and become stronger and quicker in combat than a normal human could achieve.
Children of Athena are able to generate loose materials or manipulate any loose materials found around them to weave a wall. The wall obstructs the view of anyone facing them, and also blunts attacks. However, it does not stop attacks entirely, it is only capable of slowing the attacks down (possibly say that the wall will cut like a bunch of woven stuff or something ~ spiders and what not).
Children of Athena, using their inclinations of battle and strategy, can most of the time, predict the course of action an opponent attacking them will take, and and are able to dodge or parry accordingly. However, if the prediction is wrong this may cost the child of Athena dearly.
Children of Athena have the innate ability of hyper-cognition. They are able to perform more complex mental operations than a normal human could achieve. They are able to process thoughts and learning far quicker than others with little cognitive effort.
Children of Athena have innate battle reflexes which allows them to fight and dodge quickly.
Children of Athena are able to communicate with and command owls. If the user gives too many commands, the owls will become frustrated and disobey.
Children of Athena have the ability to empower strength and intelligence upon nearby allies and instil fear upon nearby enemies with a deafening war cry for a short time.
Children of Athena have minor telepathic abilities, making them able to telepathically communicate with their allies and read the current thoughts of an opponent’s mind. But this mind reading does not always work.
Children of Athena through telepathy are able to alter the moods of a person or group of people for a short time. They are able to make an ally calmer and more courageous or an opponent panicked or depressed. Once a target has suffered from this power, they become resistant to it for a moderate amount of time.
Children of Athena can curse an opponent, temporarily ruining their ability to formulate battle strategies for a short time. With this curse, the target would only think up rather silly and quite awful strategies. This gives the user a chance to attack or flee. Ex: The target would fake a heart attack and fall back on the ground, thinking the user would believe it and give up on the fight.

Children of Athena, due to the strength of their minds, are gifted with the ability of clairvoyance. They are able gain information about an object, person, location or physical event through means other than the known human senses, for example beyond their normal sensory range or when unable to use their physical senses. Some techniques of clairvoyance are veridical dreaming, scrying and parasight.
6 Months After Character is Made
Children of Athena can curse an opponent with severe stupidity and ignorance, temporarily stripping them of their intelligence and knowledge. The curse can cause an opponent to lose their common sense, fighting skill and tactical abilities. The target could even be unsure how to swing a sword or use their powers properly. After a short time, the curse will wear off and the target will regain their intelligence and knowledge. Their minds will be resistant to further use of the curse for a moderate time and the user will be substantially drained.
9 Months After Character is Made
Children of Athena can turn into a normal sized owl of whichever species they select for a short period of time, allowing them flight. The user has the option to grow into a giant owl, it can be up to 2 to 3 times bigger than their size as a human. This will make the transformation more draining. As a giant owl, the user would be twice as fast as a normal owl mid-flight, be able to transport allies and possess a very loud scream. After the transformation, they are extremely drained. Unable to move and they could possibility faint.
Children of Athena are normally very intelligent, wise and clever. Able to easily excel in school.
Children of Athena tend to be very adept at weaving, pottery and other crafts.
Children of Athena typically have the potential to become great soldiers, agents or generals. Able to perform remarkable feats within the Military.
Children of Athena can grow up to make great scholars, teachers, professors and scientists.

Children of Poseidon can fire a powerful blast of water with high pressure, the equivalent to that of a powerful fire hose.
Children of Poseidon have the ability to conjure a weapon out of water which can be used for combat; however, only one weapon can be conjured at a time and it cannot be bigger than the one who conjured it. They can also make small non-combative objects out of water.
Children of Poseidon can densify the water pressure in their own bodies, hardening their muscles and skin to the point where they are immune to physical attacks for a short time.
Children of Poseidon can innately breathe and heal slightly faster underwater.
Children of Poseidon can keep themselves and everything they touch dry in the water, unless they choose to become wet.
Children of Poseidon can make air bubbles form under water, some large enough to contain allies and sustain them for a moderate time before popping.
Children of Poseidon can survive falling from high altitudes as long as they land in water, they can also go as deep into the ocean as they desire without any effects from the water pressure.
Children of Poseidon have the ability to create minor earthquakes, only large enough to knock anyone in the immediate vicinity of the user off their feat, and only for a few seconds.
Children of Poseidon have the ability to Water Travel, a sort of teleportation; the further the distance, the more is energy drained, and there must be a substantial amount of water at both ends.
Children of Poseidon are able to telekinetically move water at a high rate. The larger amount of water used, the more energy it drains.
Children of Poseidon are able to summon and telepathically command equestrian animals, such as horses, giraffes, zebras and hippocampi. They can also do the same with all animals that dwell in the sea, the more animals summoned and the bigger they are. The more energy is drained.
Children of Poseidon can create the octopus form, a body of water formed around the user into a protective barrier of water with eight or so whip-like limbs which can be used to grasp or strike an attacking opponent or to intercept and seize incoming projectiles. The longer this form is maintained, the more energy is drained.

Children of Poseidon can summon a tidal wave of up to 25-feet tall, which can not harm them. The tidal wave could injure an opponent and give the user a chance to flee.

Children of Poseidon are able to transform into horses while out of the water, or hippocampi while in the water, for short times, the longer they remain in the form, the more energy it drains and the more time they need to rest between transforming.
9 Months After Character is Made
Children of Poseidon are able to transform their bodies into a state of pure water for a short time, during this they are immune to attacks. The hydrokinetic abilities they already possess are enhanced by this state. the user will be extremely drained once the transformation ends. Unable to move and could possibly faint.
Children of Poseidon always know their exact coordinates when in water and are able to innately feel the difference between freshwater and saltwater.
Children of Poseidon normally have a love for water, and generally excel at water sports.
Children of Poseidon tend to be favored by animals of the sea.
Children of Poseidon often have a natural affinity for horses and many grow up to become equestrians.
Thea: Gentle breeze, gentle waves. A sight that was so close to what she knew to be home. It made her chest ache uncomfortably, being reminded of home, but also the person she'd lost there. Thea kicked a small pebble and picked up a seashell. The loose strings on her knee-length camo pants swayed gently with the breeze which brought cold to her bare arms. The white tank-top hugged her form modestly, the way the small hairband hugged the braid that held back her bangs. Thea looked toward the horizon, a wistful look in her ash grey eyes.
James: James was just walking out of the ocean he walked into some by accident and said "Sorry"
Thea: It was like a minor bump to her. She didn't even stumble or waver. She did, however, turn her head to look at the person who ran into her. "Careful there." The ever amused, soft smile graced her glossy pink lips, and her eyes were unreadable as they took in his appearance and movement. "Is it a thing for people to run into each other here?" She chuckled softly.
James: "No just me" James said laughing
Thea: "Something on your mind?" She asked this, but her gaze was to the ocean.
James: "Nope" James said
Thea: "Oh, so you just like running into people?" She smiled in even more amusement.
James: "Accident prone and always have been" James said smiling
Thea: "Mind telling me why?" She began to sit on the sand, crossing her legs as she picked up some more seashells.
James: "I just am" James said
Thea: "Or, maybe you just haven't found the right reason to be more careful?" Thea smiled a bit and patted the spot next to her. "I've never known an accident prone before."
James: James sat down next to her and said "So what is your name"
Thea: She hummed, leaning back on her hands and looked at him. "Thea." Her grey eyes took in his features and locked it in her mind. "What's your name?"
James: "James" he replied
Thea: "That's a nice name." She propped her chin on her hand, looking at him. "How old are you?"
James: "14. how old are you" James asked
Thea: "14?" She seems surprised, and chuckled. "You look much older. I'm 17."
James: "Really you look like you are 15" James said
Thea: "Why thank you." She smiled in amusement. A soft, hollow smile.
James: "So who is your godly parent Thea" James asked her
Thea: "Athena." She sighed a bit. "But most of the time I have trouble believing she's my mother. I'm not very wise, and my mind is falling apart."
James: "My dad is Poseidon" James said
Thea: "Wow." She chuckled a bit. "What's it like being a son of the big three?"
James: "Sometimes it can be scary, sometimes it can be fun" James said laughing
Thea: "Then... You have control over water, correct?" She looked at him curiously. "Can I see?"
James: "That is correct and sure" James replied. Using his powers, James made the water splash Thea's face
Thea: "Ofph!" She exclaimed, jumping back a bit and wiping her face. She laughed however, for the first time looking remotely normal. "That was uncalled for!" She nudged James and laughed some more.
James: "That is why I did it" James said laughing too
Thea: She pushed her bangs out of her face and figured it wouldn't be very smart to splash him back. "I'll get you back. Later."
James: "No you won't" James said to Thea
Thea: "I don't know. Will I?" She smirked.
James: "You could" James said
Thea: "So you're saying I'm allowed to?" She smirked.
James: "Yeah but you do know if you splash me I can make it just go back to you" James replied
Thea: "Who said anything about splashing you?"
James: "What are you going to do"
Thea: She laughed. "Can't tell you that."

James: "So how camp going for you" James asked Thea

Thea: "It's nice... I think." She mumbled. "I can't really remember much."
James: "Why can't you" James asked
Thea: "Well, I mean, I am getting better." She quickly added, looking at their feet.
James: "What do you mean getting better" James asked
Thea: "It's nothing. Really." She smiled.
James: "Seriously what is it" James said
Thea: "Why do you need to know?" She raised an eyebrow.
James: "Because I want to see if I could help" James said
Thea: "I have schizophrenia." She finally says. "I hallucinate a lot and sometimes when I wander aeound camp, I can't tell whether I'm really doing it or if it's all in my head."
James: "You done that yet" James asks

James: "Ever hurt yourself yet" James asked
Thea: "Thankfully not." She sighed.
'James: "That's a good thing then" James said
Thea: She nods. "So, enough about me. Tell me about yourself."
James: "What do you need to know" James replied "You know my name is James, you know I am a guy and you know my dad is Poseidon"
Thea: "What about your hobbies?"
James: 'Nothing much I surf a lot" James replied. "What about you"
Thea: "I do a lot of things." She shrugged.
James: "Where were you from before you came to camp" James asked
Thea: "A lot of places. Indonesia at first. And then England." She smiles. "You?"
James: "Always lived in Australia all my life until I came to camp" James replied
Thea: "How did you know about this place?" She asks softly.
James: "I didn't my mum told me what I was on the flight here" James replied "What about you"
Thea: "My dad brought me here. He said he was attending a conference. Left me at the hotel, and... I found my friend outside being chased by hellhounds. He was a satyr." She grew sadder and sadder as she continued. "He brought me to camp, but... He didn't make it."
James: 'At least he made a difference" James said
Thea: She had fallen silent by then, suddenly drained of any energy to speak anymore.
'James: "What is wrong did I say something bad" James asked
Thea: "No, it's not you." She smiled weakly.
James: "What is it then" James asked
Thea: "I'm still trying to let him go." She said softly.
James: "It is always had letting go" James said
Thea: "Indeed..." She smiled sadly.
James: "So how is being a child of Athena going" James asked
Thea: She sighed. "Not good."
James: "So what do we do now" James asked
Thea: She inhales through her nose and smiles gently at him. "I don't know. How's being a son of Poseidon treating you?"
James: "Not bad" James said
Thea: "Made any friends yet?" She joked.
James: "Nah not at all" James said as sarcastic as he could
Thea: "oh? Well I suggest you start working on your social skills." She replied, smirking.
James: "I was being sarcastic" James said
Thea: She laughed and nudged him. "So was I."
James: "You better improve on your sarcasm skills cause that didn't sound sarcastic at all" James said
