Introduction[]

Neis a new comer, figured he'd go to the training arena to polish off his skills. He still blamed himslef for Han's death. He would make sure that if he was ever in that situation again, that he would kill any and every monster before even one of his friends could get hurt.

Damon, who had a near death experiance a couple days ago, now developed a hydrophobia. He was training to pass time. His phobia came from nearly being drowned to death by telekhines deep in the forest.

They'll meet, and suggest sparring.

(Feel free to jump in if you're reading this. Just add your WB to the WB heading.)

RP[]

Neis: He walked into the training arena, and noticed that it wasn't empty. It was early in the morning, but there was just one other boy in the training arena at this moment. The boy was hacking at dummies and blasting them with beams from his fingers. Neis sighed, "Well he's having a blast. I mine as well start." He walks over to another set of dummies and began a series of attacks, that Han taught him. The objective was to go slow at first, only focusing on fluidity, then to slowly increase in speed, while keeping that same fluid motion.

Damon: Damon had been taking his fustration out on the dummy for half an hour, not really training just hacking it to pieces. He stops for a second, and looks around. He notices a very pale boy attacking a dummy very slow. As he watched the boy finish that sequence, he started another sequence and went slightly faster. He kept this up until he was going as fast as he could, all while keeping a fluid swing. Damon was impressed.

Neis: Being an assassin he was aware of Damon watching him the very instant Damon paused, Not breaking fluidity he asked in a monotone, "Are you going to stare at me all day? Or do you want to spar? The dummy can't attack back."

Damon: Damon clapped a few times, "Very impressive. Truly that was a beauty to watch. Why not? I need a challenge." He walked up to the boy and stuck his hand out, "Damon Lawson, son of Eris."

Neis: Neis looked down at his hand, then looked him in the eye smiled and shook it, "Neis Hamilton, son of Nyx. It was a beauty eh? He shrugged, I was trained by a master."

Damon: Damon grinned, "Oh really? Alright then, this is how the sparring session will go. Two, 2 out 3 rounds will take place. The first 2 out of 3 will be with just sword skill. The second 2 out of 3 will be the use of powers coupled with sword skill. Deal?"

Neis: "Deal." He backed up to give them a few meter distnace. "Alright ready?" He saw Damon nod. "Go!" Immediently Damon rushed in attacking with his shield. He dodged the shield and swung his sword in an upward slash.

Elijah: Eli had been in the Arena as well and for the most part kept to himself as he practiced fighting maneuvers with an animated dummy. In the corner of his eye, he watched Damon and Neis dueling. It had been a while since he had tried his fighting skills against an actual person, more out of fear that he'd hurt someone than anything else. He decapitated the dummy in a clean slash and stepped over its plush body once it fell to get to the pair. "Mind if I join? I need to spar someone anyway."

Damon: Damon stops mid counter swing and grins, "Sure the more the merrier."

Neis: Neis got agitated, "Actually I would mind. We were having a series of rounds to determine the better demigod. Now the selection will be a bit more complicated becuase of a 3rd person." He broods, "This is lame."

Elijah: He raised an eyebrow and with no warning diagonally slashed at Neis with the dagger he held in his right hand while saying, "I don't remember the world revolving around you—" at the same time, he used the other dagger he held to slash at Neis again, spinning on his heel to twist his body at another angle to do so, "—but if it bothers you that much, go ahead and remind me."

Neis: He shadow traveled a couple inches away from the slashes when he saw the new kid's shoulders tense. He rests on his backfoot with his sword raised, and left pointer finger pointed right at the kid's heart, head cocked a little to the side in a curious look. "I was trained as an assassin for a couple of years by the best in the world. I can kill you right now with one bullet." He said in a serious tone.

Damon: Damon begins clapping, "In all of my time here this is the best thing that has happened." He grinned mischieviously. "However I recomend peace, a death here at camp would be very bad indeed. We're big boys, let's just spar it out."

Elijah: He cocked his head to the side, studying the son of Nyx with a cold expression and a sick look in his eyes. "I am a trained assassin, and I have killed dozens of people, however, I don't feel like adding another person to the list. Like the boy said, let's simply duel it out like responsible demigods." He twirled his daggers in his hands, looking at Neis, challenging the other to share his opinion. "Unless you're scared...?"

Neis: "Can't be a smartly trained assassin. If that was the case, you would understand that I hate abnoxious people. And you would"ve noticed that right now I have a shadow shuriken hanging above your throat." He turned, waived his hand to make the shuriken dissapear, then he announced "It would be a bore for me to battle a simpleton such as yourself. Ha! A trained assassin, what a moron."

Elijah: "Do not be as hypocritical as to laugh like an arrogant moron as you are. A smart assassin knows to remain calm when put in a situation where their life is threatened. I do not care what you hate, and I have no interest in battling someone so hypocritical and obnoxious himself. Like I said, let's simply duel this out like responsible demigods." He kept his challenging gaze on the shorter and younger boy waiting for the moment he would be provoked and made a move.

Damon: He stood there watching, he turned on his chaotic aura to increase the chance of a fight happening. He grinned with glee.

Neis: Neis was about to point out that a smart assassin knows when he's being provoked, and not acting on that provoction was key. However unknown to Neis, becuase of Damon's meddling he charged Elijah. He slashed his sword down, just to get a reaction out of Elijah, but he feinted. Neis shadowed traveled 10 meters behind Elijah, then threw 4 shurrikens from each direction from the shadows. Right after this, he bent the shadows around him to vanish.

Elijah: Aided by his flexibility, he bent over, touching the ground with his hands and flipping away as Neis shadow traveled. The older male resisted the urge to laugh at the both of them and instead jumped, bending his knees so he would not be hit by the shurikens as they all clashed together below him. He unsheathed one of his throwing axes and tossed it in an arc towards Damon to break the son of Eris' concentration. The tension in the boy's stance alerted him that Damon was doing something if not effecting the environment.

Damon: He hardened his skin, and caught the throwing axe by the handle. He developed a gleam in his eye, that basically spelled excitement for him. "This shall be fun!" He attempted to apply confusion on Elijah making him forget how to stand, much less fight with weapons for a few moments. He called Blaghden, to search for Neis. Blaghden found him and alerted Damon to his position. Damon then shot a chaotic beam Neis' way. "Come out to fight Neis, don't hide."

Neis: Neis laughed as he dodged the beam, which burnt a hole in the tree he was hiding behind. "Okay son of Eris, and Elijah. Let's truly begin then."

Elijah: His concentration was distorted for a minute as he fought against the powers of the son of Eris. Eventually, he fended off his grip on his concentration state and narrowed his eyes at Damon, calling back his ax that the boy was holding. At the same time, he was debating using the trick Rylus taught him, and although he usually prefers fighting fair, the other two had used their own powers anyway so it would only be fair. He called upon his power over gravity and imagined slicing through the trees, before actually doing it. Three trees near Neis' hiding spot came tumbling down, satisfied he focused more  of his energy on regaining his axe.

Damon: He realized that he was still holding Elijah's ax, which was tugging back towards its owner. He let it go.

Neis: He looked behind him as the trees he was hiding behind fell down. He got into the stance taught to him by Han. He looked both boys in the eye and said in a monotone, "I don't plan on losing." He sighed, "To be honest with you, I'll be damned if I do lose." His face got serious, and his relaxed body posture became more alert. He then growled, "Is that understood?"

Hana: "No, it isn't. Care to explain again?" the fierce girl demanded, strutting upon the scene in a pair of flexible jean overalls and a black t-shirt. She twirled her axes in her hand and shot the three a deceivingly innocent smile. "I don't think anyone would mind if I joined, unless it hurts your ego too much if you go against a girl."

Elijah: He studied the newcomer with a look that conveyed no sort of emotion, refusing to give away his true thoughts. He didn't know her background so he therefore, had no reason to judge her, but if he had picked up anything from Neis, he suspected the boy wouldn't be very happy with the decision.

Damon: He was about to state that Neis went psycho last time, so maybe that wasn't a good idea, but he wanted to see what Neis would say. He looked at Neis, "Well?"

Neis: He looked at Elijah, "There's no point in having an objection, since your still fighting right? What about you any objections? I have none. It would make it a 2 vs 2 instead of a 3 way."

Elijah: "I have no problems with this. I don't care who's my partner so go ahead and form teams," he said, his voice monotone and indifferent.

Hana: Her smile grew into a devilish grin as she walked closer to the group. "Who do I get?" she asked curiously, glancing between the three boys, studying their individual builds and heights to determine who would be of best advantage to her.

Damon: "I don't think Neis and Elijah will cooperate well enough to be on the same team." He said laughing. "So that rules me and Hana out. What a shame." He winked at Hana. "I'm guessing I got Elijah, Hana and Neis can pair."

Neis: His facial expression was blank as he answered in a monotone, "It doesn't matter to me." He shrugged, "However." He looked at Hana, "I hope your bite is as good as your bark, considering what you just said earlier."

Hana: She glanced at Damon with a sparkle in her eye. "A real shame." When Neis finished she gave her own response. "My bark is as good as however you think it is. Opinion, judgment and actual skill are three different things," she reminded him with her taunting grin. "Well, enough talking, more fighting!"

Damon: He gives a mishcieviously smile. "How about now." He dashed towards Neis and smashes his shield into the ground, sending dirt into the air attempting to obscur everyone's vision, except Blaghdens. He instructs Blaghden to use his supersonic shriek on Neis and Hana.

Hana: "Neis, get over here!" she shouted just as Damon smashed his shield into the ground. Using her own magic energy, she created a shield to block the dirt from at least where she was standing, hoping Neis got over there quick enough. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted the white dove she'd seen earlier in the fight. She realized the bird was a major threat and immediately made it her next target. "Cover me, I have an idea!"

Elijah: Elijah, who had been irritated by Damon's rash decision to send dirt flying into the air, used his own powers to create an orbit around him that caught Hana mid-run. Expecting Damon to act, he did not move as to not break the concentration and unnecessarily drain more energy.

Neis: He realized that Hana was being in some type of attack by Elijah aimed shadow knives at Elijah in an attempt to knock his concentration off.

Damon: Damon was running towards Hana to attack her, but at the last moment noticed Neis sending shadow projectiles toward Elijah. Damon sprinted toward him and jumped in the way of the projectiles, shield raised. "Damn, release the field, we need to regroup. "Blaghden! Get down here. I have a bad feeling."

Elijah: "Why didn't you attack the girl?" he questioned, immediately dropping the orbit. "The knives would've gotten caught in the orbit, so I would be fine." He glared at Hana who had successfully landed on the ground unharmed and was now watching Blaghden soar back over to Damon with an unsatisfied look on her face. "Watch your bird, kid. Don't send it out unprotected like that."

Hana: She sighed, turning around to stalk back over to Neis. "Cover me, does not equal attack, okay?" she muttered angrily. "I mean, legitimately shield me! I was going to get rid of the bird. The short kid seems to be using it for something," she whispered. "We need higher ground. I can't work like this if that bird is going to be flying around possibly picking up information and bringing it back to them. I can probably knock it out with a concetrated beam of magic, but I need to lure it there."

Neis: He sighed, "Well excuse me. I just tried to get you out of that guy's hold." Neis rolled his eyes, "You are wrong about the bird. I've noticed, that he never talked to the bird face to face. So it can tell them what we are doing as it's watching us. Without having to go back. You're right about taking it out though. I need a diversion so I can slip behind the two of them while invisible and put them in checkmate."

Damon: "Well I didn't know, but it wouldn't have worked anyway. With both of us focused on her, Neis would have slipped away, as the unknown variable. Even now, I bet he's planning a way to get behind our guard. He would need a diversion first." Damon sat in a criss cross position. He stroked his chin, "Hana will be the diversion."
