- This arena is essentially a tightly compacted jungle/forest, with tall cliffs along the edges of the arena
- At various points in the forest/jungle there are some small waterfalls and ponds
- The arena is open to the sky and elements, however due to the tightly compacted nature of the jungle/forest, there are areas where the sky cannot be seen, along with lots of shadows and places to hide
- At the centre of the arena (jungle/forest), there is a medium sized temple, it is the darkest at this point and there are pyres, full of fire and wood, at the entrance to the temple. The fire that burns within the pyres can not be extinguished, but if the fire is removed from the pyres, it can then be put out.
- Inside the temple are various Greek statues, roughly 6 feet tall
- There are numerous and various species of wildlife hidden amongst the forest/jungle, but none larger than a grizzly bear

Lallaine: She turned and saw James standing there and looking at her surprised. "Well, to be just ready," she said. "So—" she gestured the arena around her, "—where to start?" Then she thought about it for awhile. "I mean, you start. You'll teach me, right? Where's your sword, son of Poseidon?"
James: "Right here daughter of Athena" James says while pulling out his pen in his pocket and uncapping it turning into his sword. "I think we should start at the middle"
Lallaine: She smiled. "Alright, your orders first, sir. This'll be the first and last time a Poseidon kid can order me and tell me what to do. Yes, you're a friend, but then again..." She didn't finish, for she knew James got the idea. "C'mon, my friend, let's start the game."
James: James got to the middle before Lallaine could cause he sprinted all the way and stood at one side of the middle and yelled out to her "Hurry up I want to see how good you are"
Lallaine: She rolled her eyes as James ran to the middle of the temple grounds. "I thought he'd start it. Dummy," she muttered to herself. She walked in fast pace towards James, twirling her sword by the hilt. When she was just inches away from him, she still didn't stop twirling the sword. "Well, I thought you'd have the first move. Why'd let me have it?" With the last word, she hardened her voice as she absurdly held her sword's hilt whilst she aimed it on James' leg—which was opposite of his hand where his dangling sword was.
James: James sidestepped as fast as he could Lallaine's swing to the right and then took off into the jungle
Lallaine: She still had the sword in her tight grip. Her eyes immediately followed James through the woods, and she shouted sarcastically, "So running does the trick, huh? Does it, James?" Knowing he went somewhere to the east, she went north and ran through the forest. Nearing the east side of teh arena, she climbed a tree that has a lot of branches to step on. She looked for him, but no sign of him. She then saw a vine hanging from the trees. She tugged at it to make sure it was sturdy enough, then held at it and jumped to take a swing. She perched on the tree beside the tree she where she last stood. She narrowed her eyes and looked around once more. Fortunately, she saw the glint of JAmes' sword, and happily sneaked upon him within the cover of the trees.
James: James was trying to find the nearest pond or some kind of water so he can control it and try to give him a advantage
Lallaine: She'd followed him enough, though he seems like he's lost. That mde Lallaine smile a bit, until she realized what he was finding. There are waterfalls in here.Great, I need to move him away from water, she thought. With Kataigda in her scabbard, she went from tree to tree—as they're just beside each other—until she was ahead of James. Taking note that he hasn't still seen her—though she still needs to be careful—she looked around for something she might use. Fortunately, there near her was a large beehive. Now that's a good chance. She neared him until it was in the reach of the end of her sword. She unsheathed Kataigda and readied herself. Once James was just above the hive, she cut its connection from the tree and it fell down with surprised bees.
James: James heard buzzing and looked up to see Lallaine cut the bee hive down and jump out of the way just so the bee hive didn't break on top of him> "Just wait until I find water" James yelled out to Lallaine
Lallaine: She groaned in frustration. "You can't get away from this, James!" But then something good enough happened. As the hive broke, the bees immediately swarmed and James was the first moving thing they saw. They followed James and reached him, which made Lallaine's frustration lessen.
James: Oh yippy bees James said while he was sprinting for his life away from them until he found a pond and he jumped in.
Lallaine: Great. She took cover from the cavernous trees and rocks around her. She quickly inched towards the pond, sword ready. James wasn't still up. Hope he drowned, or something pulled him down, she thought darkly. But that'd never happen. In her hiding spot far—hidden from James' line of sight—she waited and readied for an attack.
James: James was waiting for the bees to leave him alone. Finally they bees went when he surfaced not even gasping for air
Lallaine: She was watching still. Then James' head popped out from the water and he was...gasping? Well, maybe he forgot that he can breathe underwater. Lallaine took a large and jagged stone and threw it directly at his head whilst she sprinted to another hiding spot.
James: The stone hits James's head but doesn't do much damage cause he is in he water. "Lallaine can't we just fight' James yelled out
Lallaine: "Oh, so now you want to fight? Face-to-face?" she yelled back. "You haven't shown me either of all the skills you know." She stepped out from the boulder she was hiding from and whistled at James to make him look her direction. "Well, whatever," she muttered, rolling her eyes and positioned her sword in front of her. "I'm ready with the things I've learned before, okay?"
James: "I always wanted to fight" James said while walking over to Lallaine
Lallaine: "Okay, let us. But will it only be between weapons? Cause you seriously have an advantage here especially just beside that pond," she pointed out, resting her hands on her hips. "But maybe I could still take it though."
James: "Take this then" James said while making the water in the pond come out just strong enough to push Lallaine off the rock she was on
Lallaine: She was too surprised to move. The wave of water splashed onto her and threw her down the ground. "Dang it, James!" she sputtered, trying to get up with her sloppy clothes and slippery ground. "That wasn't fair!" Well, nothing's fair though, she thought.
She took her sword and looked around. She thought about everything she'd learned in camp as a child of Athena. She saw a huge roll of thick thread near a rock, the brown thread-like structures dangling from the trees around her and some withered long leaves on the ground. She closed her eyes and thought about weaving a wall in front of her. The thread on the ground and from the trees moved towards her, weaving itself in front of Lallaine until it built a not-that-sturdy wall. She could sense James walking near it, and she turned around and ran far away from anything with water. "I'll get you next time!" she yelled as she ran further away.
James: "This a jungle you know, there is water everywhere" James said while walking around the wall
Lallaine: "Cloak-and-dagger would've been fine before," she muttered under her breath whilst running towards the temple. No water around here, though. She waited near a statue of her mother with her sword ready, thinking of a good plan.
James James walk away from the pond and walking into the unknown of the jungle thinking I wonder how big this jungle is
Lallaine: How long before he arrives? she thought. She waited not-too-patiently and looked at her reflection in the blade. Outside the temple, the sky was blue and the sun was shining brightly and hot, the trees ain't covering it from above. There was water in the middle of the open grounds—no, it wasn't. She inched forward it, and it seemed to be farther away whe nshe realized it was a mirage. A mirage in the forest? Well, nothing's impossible. She thought about something, then left the mirage alone, and waited for him, knowing he would mistake it as water and throw it upon her. Great idea. She could take his attention to the 'water' as a distraction for him.
James: James finally caught up with Lallaine and said "You're going to get it now" when he saw the water mirage
Lallaine: She was excited about this thing—or maybe nervous, or happy, she doesn't know. She stayed still behind the Athena statue and waited for James to do his act.
James: James kept trying to control the water but it wouldn't move. "Why isn't it working" James said
Lallaine: She charged from the statue with a deafening war cry and swiped her foot under James' legs as he was still occupied by the mirage.
James: "That hurt" James said while on his back
Lallaine: "You said you wanted to fight," she noted. She put her the edge of the sharp side of her blade on James' throat. "Guess you didn't see that coming, huh?"
James: "I didn't not" James said while slowly trying to get up
Lallaine: "I see that." She steadied her blade on his throat as he tried to get up, alert for anything that would happen.
James: "Are you really trying to cut my throat" James asked "Cause it seems like that to me"
Lallaine: "Maybe. It depends," she replied. Looking at the ground she saw a pen, and knew that it was James' sword. Instinctly, she swiped it with her foot towards her and picked it up, blade still on James. She waved the pen in front of him. "Looking for this?"
James: "No I am not" James said "but I was waiting for a chance to do this." James dropped Lallaine hard on the ground liked he would do in football
Lallaine: She fell hard on her back as she was pushed, but then still got ahold of her sword and the pen. With the pen on her left hand, she clicked it to a sword, where its tip gashed James' leg.
James: James put his hand over the gash to see if it was bleeding and was. "I'm going to get you back for that" James said
Lallaine: "Not yet." She took a large step towards her right near him. Then, with James' sword as a block in front of her, she jabbed his shoulder with the butt of her own sword.
James: "Just give my sword back and make it even" James said after Lallaine hit him with her sword
Lallaine: She made a face, hesitating. But she still gave the sword back, blade down. Once he took it, she repositioned her own blade in front of her. "There you go. Is that even now?"
James: "Now we are" James said while he made a small cut on Lalaine's leg
Lallaine: She grunted as the blade slashed her skin. It wasn't that much of pain, unlike what she did to James. She stepped forward with her left foot and swung her sword at James.
James: James jumps backwards to dodge the swing and it just missed him but cut his shirt
Lallaine: "What is it with you?" She slashed her sword one more time. "Just teach me!"
James: James blocked the swing with his sword. "Ok I will teach you" James said while swinging his sword at Lallaine
Lallaine: She blocked his blow with her blade, then twisted it so James' sword points down, almost to fall.
James: James drops his sword and says "Good job Lallaine"
Lallaine: "Good job?" She blew a loose strand of hair on her face. "I've done a lot of jobs." She lowered her sword and tilted her head. "Now what?"
James: James sidestepped Lallaine I swung at her side and said "Try and block this"
Lallaine: She barely blocked his swing. Thank goodness this weren't sucker punches. On the milisecond his blade was to gash her, she striked her sword back near its edge, but gave all her strength to stop the blow. She pushed his blade with blade and took backwards steps from the impact.
James: "Your not that bad" James said
Lallaine: ""Thank you," she said, smiling sarcastically. "I want more." She sliced her blade in the air over her head aimed at James.
James: James sidesteps the swing and hits Lallaine's side with the but of his sword
Lallaine: She tripped sideways but had her balance. Whilst she pushed him forward with the flat side of her blade, as if neeeding more balance.
James: "No bad" James said and then he ean away unexpected from Lallaine
Lallaine: "C'mon James!" she shouted. "Stop running, please!" She stayed put and ran her hand through her hair.
James: James disspears in the jungle trying tp found his way behind Lallaine but he got lost
Lallaine: She waited and she waited gor James to appear. She didn't worry about him though, thinking it was just another trick of his. Tired, she shouted with her hands cupped around her mouth, "James! Where are you? Show yourself!"
James: James heard Lallaine off to his left and yelled out "I don't know"
Lallaine: "You don't know?" What was he, lost? Lallaine wasn't sure if she should laugh about the idea or find him. What in the whole wide world was he thinking? Nevertheless, she followed his voice and trudged to find him.
James: Weird James thought while walking around trying to find Lallaine I don't get lost in the bush but I get lost in this
Lallaine: "James! Where are you! Shout out, please!" she yelled. She went along thick bushes and piles of leaves, but still no sign of James. She put her sword out for anything that might happen. This guy might be leading me to somewhere he has an advantage, she thought. But she kept finding.
James: James climbs a tree of to his left and sees Lallaine but doesn't say a thing
Lallaine: She stopped for a while and listened carefully. Wind bristles, leaves, bark slashing against something. She opened her eyes and let her eyes look around. She readied her sword and sharpened her eyes. She breathed in deep.
James: James tried to grab a branch but it snapped under his weight and he fell 5 meters flat on his back. "Ouch" James said while on his back
Lallaine: She ran towards the sound and fortunately found James lying on his back, his face showing brief pain. She rested her sword's edge on his forehead. "Wrong catch of branch, James? And you got lost?"
James: "Yes I did got a problem with that" James said
Lallaine: "You know what, this ain't going anywhere near good. Stand up now." She moved her sword by her side. "I don't want to keep running around and chasing cars."
James: James stands up and says "It wasn't a car it was a truck"
Lallaine: "Shut up. It was a metaphor." She stomped her foot impatiently. "Get up, now!"
James: "It is so funny when you are mad" James said
Lallaine: "Oh, really? I'm funny?" she said sarcastically, then turned serious quickly. "What's funny?! Come on now!"
James: "What about if I don't want to" James says
Lallaine: "What if I kill you on the spot?" she retorted.
James: "What if you don't" James said
Lallaine: "Ugh, stop bonking around and get up!" she said, slashing her sword wildly in the air.
James: "I'm so just stop swinging that around" James said while standing up
Lallaine: "Whatever. Let's just go back," she said, gesturing at the temple with her sword. "I'm so getting bored with all these."
James: "Go back where" James said
Lallaine: She rolled her eyes and annoyingly sighed. "To the temple. Isn't that I've pointed where already?"
James: "Race you there" James said before he sprinted off towards the temple
Lallaine: She rolled her eyes once more. "Morons," she muttered, not-so-calmly walking after James.
James: "I heard that" James said while still running
Lallaine: She grunted and started stomping heavily instead of walking. Calm down. Getting irritated makes it worse. She saw the top of the temple nearby. "Thank goodness," she whispers under her breath. There was a small river stream in a fast rush separating them and the temple. Sure, James wouldn't have any problem with that. She spotted a long and sturdy stick lying on the base of a tree. She took it, and had an idea. She ran fast and jabbed the end of the stick on the ground near the river and jumped. She landed on the other side of the stream, feeling happy since she did vaulting with a pole, and ran towards the temple, not minding James.
James: James saw the stream and used his powers to make the stream solid enough for him to walk on. As soon as he walked off the stream he bolted for the temple
Lallaine: She sensed James nearby, and she quickened her pace. Soon enough, she reached the temple, trying not to breathe out and perspire that much. She raised her sword and jabbed it on the ground. She wiped her forehead backhand and looked at James. "You're so stupid, you know that?"
James: "Just because my mum isn't the goddess of wisdom that doesn't mean I'm dumb" James said while he sat on the floor of the temple
Lallaine: "Being stupid doesn't mean you're dumb." She picked on her nails and swung her sword nonchalantly. "Sometimes, the stupid ones are the ones who have more wisdom than the educated ones."
James: "Can you stop swinging that sword around. Your going to cut my head off or something" James said
Lallaine: "Whatever." She took a seat on one of the blocks nearby. "Ugh, what can I do?"
James: "Another round if you want to" James said
Lallaine: "Yeah. And you'll out run me again and get lost while I tend to find you," she said, crossing her arms in front of her.
James: "I swear I wont this time" James said while standing up
Lallaine: "Good. Because I'm not in the mood to do it."
James: "You want to start here" James said
Lallaine: "Alright. You start," she said, leaning her lower arms on her sword's hilt.
James: "Ok I will" James said while swinging his sword over his head
Lallaine: She shrugged. "Start, now," she said.
James: James stopped as soon as Lallaine said that comment and said "I'm was until you said that"
Lallaine: She rolled her eyes again. "Just do it. You're making it longer." She sighed audibly. 'What is this? Delaying tactics?"
James: "You could call it that" James said while turning his sword into a pen and throwing it at Lallaine's head
Lallaine: The pen hit her head, but not too hard. She gave James a look. "What the heck was that for?" she nagged, taking the pen and curling her fingers around it hard, as if it would break.
James: "So i could do this" James said while he started a minor earthquake trying to make Lallaine to fall over
Lallaine: She lost her balance and stumbled. Brushing her hair away from her face, she gave James a cold stare, trying to read his mind. She couldn't get any thoughts, but twisted his brain and mood to a crazy mode.
James: All of a sudden James turned into water without thinking what coild happen to him when he changes back and rushed straight towards Lallaine
Lallaine: Ugh, I thought I had it alright! She moved away fast and tricked his brain into doing something crazier, trying to make him not involve her in his actions. She felt a little dizzy on doing it, but forced herself to stay up. This will be the last dose of it.
James: James turned back into his normal self and was so tried he fainted
Lallaine: I'm tired. "Maybe a little rest would do," she whispered to herself. She sat down on one of the huge rocks nearby and rested her elbows on her knees.
James: James woke up but he couldn't move. "Did you draw on my face while I was out" James said
Lallaine: "I wish I did," she said, stretching her arms and body again and again. She jogged in place, and felt a hint of energy.
James: "You mind if you can help me up" James said while putting his arm up which was the only thing he could move right now
Lallaine: She paused. "Yeah, I mind." She walked over to James and held out a hand.
James: James grabbed Lallaine and tried to pull himself up but falled right back on his back "I don't think I could walk right now" James said while groaning
Lallaine: "Well, I can't carry you," she muttered. Instead, she just helped James—a bit of sliding his back on the ground—to let his back rest on the rock she had sat on a while ago. "Maybe some food?"
James: James slowly stood up and this time didn't fall down. "I think I'm alright at the moment" James said
Lallaine: "You sure?" she asked, a bit concerned. "Wanna go back to the cabins?" She moved closer in case he abruptly falls down and probably break his neck.
James: "We can if you want to" James said while trying to see if he could walk
Lallaine: "Alright, then. Come." She offered her arm for James to lean on.
OOC[]
How did james know that she was running away from water?
Running away from the pond pretty obvious
That's not a very good reason, dude. Not very specific.
My post, man, meant that she—as a child of Athena—somehow made him think of of stupid things, making him crazy for a while.
stupid and crazy i can do that
Do I post on this rp or the other rp
Post it on the other....u do it first :)
