Forest/Jungle Arena

Forest Jungle Arena
  • This arena is essentially a tightly compacted jungle/forest, with tall cliffs along the edges of the arena
  • At various points in the forest/jungle there are some small waterfalls and ponds
  • The arena is open to the sky and elements, however due to the tightly compacted nature of the jungle/forest, there are areas where the sky cannot be seen, along with lots of shadows and places to hide
  • At the centre of the arena (jungle/forest), there is a medium sized temple, it is the darkest at this point and there are pyres, full of fire and wood, at the entrance to the temple. The fire that burns within the pyres can not be extinguished, but if the fire is removed from the pyres, it can then be put out.
  • Inside the temple are various Greek statues, roughly 6 feet tall
  • There are numerous and various species of wildlife hidden amongst the forest/jungle, but none larger than a grizzly bear

PreRp Fight

Nuala: Nuala walked into the Arena, carrying her bow and a quiver of arrows across her back. She hadn't dressed well for the fight, but she didn't really mind. She had on a blue T-Shirt, and black skinny jeans, along with a quiver on her back. She generally didn't like fighting at close range, and generally stayed at least 10 ft from her opponent. The arena was covered in greenery, and she loved the way it reminded her of the town she lived in. She stopped and decided not to enter the arena just yet, because she wanted to wait foe her opponent, who was also her twin sister.

Ciara: She walks up wearing black leggings and a thick black top. She has a pouch tied to her thigh, padded and thick so she can hold her darts. She has a smaller one tied to her arm for ambrosia. If she were to face a monster, she might also hold a vile of poison. She heads to the forest and spots her sister. "Hey there Nala."

Nuala: Nuala nodded. "Hello!" She said happily before realizing, once again, they were going to be fighting. "Okay, who's going to be heading into the forest first? I think it should be you, but if you want me to, I'll go in first, but that would mine I get a 10 minute head start. Unless we both go in, and diverge to different paths." She said this as she realized she was babbling, and covered her mouth.

Ciara: She laughs. "Nala, Nala, Nala. You can go in first. you might need it." She smiles and takes out one of her darts, tossing in the air and catching it easily. "Remember, this will help us. We have to learn each other's strengths and weaknesses in order for us to work together."

Nuala: Nuala shook her head, and frowned, there was no use in arguing with her sister. After all, she won every argument they've ever had. "Okay, but give me a 10 minute head start?" She said this as she turned, and dashed into the forest. She dashed aimlessly for a few seconds, before stopping. She looked at the ground and realized shed left behind a trail due to the mud. She decided to climb into the trees and attempt to head threw the forest using the branches.

Ciara: She waits and as she does she practices her throwing on a tree a little ways away. Come on! She thinks after a particularly bad toss. It's been about 10 minutes. She walks into the forest, following her sister's trail before finding it stopped. She swears colorfully in Greek and looks to the tree tops, seeing nothing she continues on. She keeps one dart in her hand at all times and silently creeps into the shadows.

Fight

Nuala: Nuala made her way through the forest, hiding in the shadows when necessary. She looked down at what she was wearing and shook her head. She was wondering why she'd worn it, but now there was nothing she could do about it. She sat down on one of the branches and took aim at the forest floor, waiting for Ciara to show up.

Ciara: She stops near a waterfall and looks up. It falls from a sheer cliff way above the forest. If I can make it up there, I'd have an advantage. Nothing's taller than that. She walked through a few trees silently. She had learned silence from Ireland. To sneak up on someone, silence was key. The second most important thing was speed. She made it to the base of the cliff. How the hell am I supposed to climb this thing?

Nuala: Nuala listened to the sound around her, attempting to find any indication her sister was nearby, but she couldn't hear anything other then birds chirping and the sound of frogs croaking. She decided to get further inward, because, knowing Ciara, she was probably already half way into through.

Ciara: She stares at the cliff. "How the heck do I climb this thing?" She stares at her throwing knife. "I don't even know if the will hold me. It's Celestial Bronze, so it probably won't be damaged, but do I want to try?" She puts her knife away and walks toward the waterfall, looking for another way up. There is none. She groans in frustration and stalks back into the forest. She looks u into the trees and finds that the branches create a network. Walk ways, if you're careful. She struggle to climb the tree, and eventually ends up on the base of a thick branch. She takes a few deep breaths and stands up, walking out, testing each step.

Nuala: She stopped abruptly as she heard the rustling of trees, and pulled herself to the trunk. She now knew someone or something was in the trees with her. She pulled her bow off her back, and then notched an arrow. She wasn't sure who or what it was, but she finally decided to peel herself away from the trunk, and walk towards the sounds. She walked a few more paces, and stopped as she saw Ciara. She aimed the bow at the girls right arm, and fired off a single arrow.

Ciara: The arrow grazes her arm and she flinched and flattened herself to the branch. She looked down and saw Nuala. Crap. She took out one of her darts and quickly aimed it at her sister's arm. She tossed it end over end, hoping that it at least hit her.

Nuala: Nuala couldn't help, but smile when the arrow grazed the girl, but she had moved a little too much, and a snapping sound could be heard. She was staring at the ground, while the dart was flying towards her, embedding itself in her right shoulder, just as the branch fell her crashing down with it.

Ciara: Sh*t She jumped from the tree and ran to her sister. She may be fighting her, but Nuala was still her twin sister. She tried to move the branch but it was heavy so she started to break off what she could. "Nala? Are you alright???"
