  2. Children of Iris have the ability to focus an intense beam of prismatic light which will burn anything it touches.

Defensive[]

  1. Children of Iris are able to create a protective dome of rainbows for a short time.
  2. Children of Iris have the ability to conjure a large orb made of pure rainbows around an opponent. The orb would successfully imprison an opponent for a short time. The orb is quite durable, but could be broken through with sufficient force. The orb cannot be teleported out of. The target cannot be attacked while the orb is in place, so the power is purely defensive. It can only be used twice in a battle.

Passive[]

  1. Children of Iris can send telepathic messages to their allies and receive their replies.
  2. Children of Iris are stronger whenever a rainbow can be seen in the sky.
  3. Children of Iris heal faster whenever their surroundings are bright, able to absorb the photons and regenerate.

3 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Since their mother was considered a goddess of the sky and sea, her children gain some control over both aspects. They can control the winds to increase their speed and lower that of an opponent’s and move water with their minds if they wish. They can fly and become able to breathe underwater for a moderate time.

6 Months After Character is Made[]

  1. Children of Iris are able to create up to 3 semi-living constructs out of pure rainbows to fight for them for a short time, the constructs can be no larger than 2 to 3 times the size of the user. They will follow the command of the user and the longer they are kept and the more that are made, the more energy is drained

9 Months After Character is Made[]

Arena Fight[]

Alec: Alec stepped into the large arena, walking out into a large, open area. He stared up at the sky for a few seconds before closing his eyes. "Breathe. It's just training." He said simply, trying to calm his nerves and prepare himself for the challenge of a training battle. "Hey Santos! You here yet?!" He called through the empty arena, not expecting Santos to answer, even if he was inside.

Santos: Santos entered the arena. He wore light armour for freedom of movement. He carried a CB sword, which was sheathed at his hip, and a set of throwing knives hung on his belt. Strolling through the abandoned streets, Santos passed ruined buildings, cars left long ago, graffiti on the walls. The place reminded him of home. He'd have to come back. For now, he needed to find Alec. Looking around the general area, Santos found a rusted fire hydrant. With a couple of tugs it creaked into action. He glanced into the resulting spray, where a rainbow had started to form. "Hey Mom. Do me a solid. Please show me where Alec is." He waited as a fuzzy image began to appear.

Alec: Alec stepped into one of the many buildings, adjusting his light armor as he began to sweat. "I bet he's nearby." He said simply as he drew his CB falchion, before quickly BAMFing his rainbow blade into existence. The blade gave off a slight glow as he began walking in through one of the many hallways. Alec carefully peered around a corner, looking around for any signs of movement.

Santos: Alec was definitely in one of the many buidings. His little bro seemed to be holding his nerve. He couldn't help but chuckle at his statement though. He felt the familiar tug towards the image and quickly rainbow travelled to the same location. In a blur of colour and movement, he reappeared in the abandoned room. "Closer than you think little bro." Santos smirked. "Think fast." He swiftly threw two throwing knives towards Alec's sword-arm to try and create some distance if not disarm him.

Alec: Alec barely had time to react, quickly using his blade to block one of the thrown knives, the other scratching across the back of his forearm, "Dammit!" He grumbled before somewhat dashing in towards Santos, blade raised in an attempt to stab through him. "That hurts, you know!" He took two quick swings with his two blades.

Santos: "Of course it hurts! I'll teach you a trick to heal that up later." As Alec blocked the first throwing knife, it gave Santos the space to take a defensive stance. He drew his own sword and diverted the first blow downwards. However not being the greatest swordsman, he was thrown off by the second blow. He clumsily blocked it but the unexpected force of the blow threw him off his feet, causing him to fall backwards over a nearby office desk. Santos rolled over and scrambled to his feet. "Meant to do that!" He said, kicking the desk back towards his brother. It wouldn't injure him greatly, but as Alec had two swords drawn, it could slow him down.

Alec: Alec got hit by the desk, sloppily rolling over the top of it, before finally standing in front of Santos, his CB blade drawn, his rainbow blade giving off a faint glow. Alec lunged forwards quickly, taking another quick swing towards his brother, his foot catching on some softer ground and shortening his swing a bit, barely enough to reach Santos in an attempt to swipe across his chest. His mouth was half opened as he breathed in through his nose, out through his mouth, his shoulders slightly heaving.

Santos: Santos raised his sword to block the attack, only for Alec's momentum to throw him off guard. The rainbow blade struck a glancing blow against his forearm. He counted himself lucky the armour protected him from taking a deep gash but it was damn painful and would leave a bruise. He cursed out loud in Spanish. "Damn kid, not bad at all..." The older camper focused a beam of light to rapidly heat up the CB falchion in Alec's other hand. He planned to disarm him or at least weaken his grip on the weapon enough to press the attack.

Alec: Alec watched the blade starting to heat up, before he dropped the blade, somewhat tossing it to the ground. Stunned, he stepped back to defend, before slightly tripping and sitting on the desk he had thrown himself across. "What the-" He swore under his breath and looked at the rainblow blade in his left hand. "How di-" He was stunned.

Santos: "Eh. Still got the magic touch." Santos grinned and rubbed both his hands together. He took a seat on a nearby desk to give Alec a chance to recover. This was the kid's first training session after all. He didn't want to attack the kid if he was left defenceless. "Powers work like that sometimes. If you lose your focus, kaboom! Best not to rely on them too much kid. If you're in trouble, no shame in getting out of dodge."

Alec: Alec nodded slightly before BAMFing in a second rainbow blade, putting himself back into the position he was before. His CB falchion sat on the ground, but Alec pushed forwards, leaping towards Santos and taking another pair of quick swings, aiming right for Santos' chest. "Grah!" He yelled, leaping forwards.

Santos: As Alec BAMFed another blade into existence, Santos stood up and took a defensive position. His brother was quick but he expected the blows this time. Santos blocked the first strike and sidestepped the second. Taking advantage of Alec's extension, he aimed a pair of swift slashes for his side.

Alec: Alec growled under his breath, blocking the first of the slashes, but missing the second, getting knocked to the floor and rolling a few feet. The two blades disappeared as Alec lay on his stomach on the ground. He could feel his eyes closing a bit.

Santos: "Whoa.." Santos quickly sheathed his blades. "You okay there little bro?" He knelt down and offered Alec a hand up, his eyes scanning to check whether he'd suffered any damage. He refracted the bright light outside, bathing the room and Alec in seven bright beams of colour to kick-start his regeneration. The effort took a toll. Santos wiped sweat off his brow before offering a hand up. "I think we're finished for today."

Alec: Alec groaned under his breath, sighing quietly as he leaned against the wall. The two stood up together. "I think that's a good place to stop, don't you?" He chuckled lightly, his body feeling much better from whatever rainbow magic Santos was able to spew out at him. "You didn't really need to heal me, you know."

Santos: "I didn't heal you. Just gave you a kick-start." Santos winked. "Perks of being an Iris kid. Bright light and colours heal us." He staggered back to his feet. It took a greater toll than he thought. "Don't worry about it kid. I'd be a bad big brother if I didn't try fix you up. Besides, it's handy to know. Saved my ass a couple times out there." He took a couple of steps forwards, looking out towards the open expanse of the ruined city. "Pretty neat, huh? Y'know, I haven't heard a lot about your life before now. How're you finding all this?"
