Personality

 Steven is a cheerful , sometimes shy boy with mischievous nature. Always loyal to his friends but too shy to show his appreciation. Very scared of Wasps. Usually a bit clumsy. Randomly starts speaking french when stressed or scared.

History

One day Melisa Winterson was going through her daily routine before going to work - make a coffee, get a shower, put her make up on and then leave. It was an ordinery Thursday. On her way to work (as a secretary in a office) she remembered she forgot to eat breakfast so she stopped in a near-by fast food resturant and ordered a burger. While getting it she dropped her phone on the floor and while picking it up she bumped into a very attractive man. Melisa was living alone and when she saw how beautiful this man was she blushed and tried to escape the awkward situation "Oh! Sorry i'm really...sorry!" her face turned as red as a pepper and even the make up couldn't hide it. "It's okay. I'm Ernest" the man said while offering his hand "Nice to meet you. I'm Melisa" said the young woman. During the next weeks they started seeing each other more and more often at that same resturant. In no time they fell in love and soon Melisa was pregnant. She was hoping they would live together and be a happy family untill one day her beloved revealed that his name is actually Eros - the god of love and he has to go back to Olympus and leave her. Melisa was shattered. She knew that her small salary will not be enaugh for her and her baby. So when it came time for her to give birth she gave the baby away for adoption.

Steven's childhood wasn't easy. He grew while moving from one foster home to another. He couldn't make friends easely and when he did - he had to move away because of his rebelious behavior. And the other kids form the homes didn't make it easy for him - they laughed at him and teased him for his fluent french and tall figure. Always alone,and never having what he needed.One day when he was 11 an importan looking guy came in Steven's current foster home. He looked around the boys and then walked over to Steven. "Do you want to run away from this place, boy? If you do, come with me. It will be lots of fun and you'll be away from those horrible kids who tease you. Later i can even give you a job as a model. I can adopt you and i promise you we will live a happy life" It sounded very tempting and for some reason Steven felt like this guy could be trusted so he said yes. "Wonderful. What's your name now?" "Steven, sir. Steven Winterson" the boy replied. In no time he was out of that horrible place and on the road to his new home. The guy (whose name Steven later found out was Bruno) lived in a huge seaside house on Miami beach. The house had a lot of rooms - the biggest of which was for Steven. They even had a housekeeper called Constanza. She was like a mother to Steven and he liked her even tho she was a little weird. They really lived a happy life through those 2 years. He really got into modeling but on his birthday on 21st of July something horrbile happened. While looking through the pages of a magizine, his now adoptive father called Steven in his office. "I need to show you something, son" Bruno said and in a mather of seconds his previously handsome face turned dog-like with brown eyes and pointy ears. His hands' nails grew to abnormal size. His skin turned black and sleak - like a seal. The monster tried to attack Steven but he ran towards the living room. The Bruno-monster was fast and quickly ran towards Steven when suddenly he heard Constanza scream his name and throw him a sword. Steven was scared to his bones so he jus swung the sword in every direction untill he hit the black monster. It bursted into gold dust and disappeard.

Four years passed and Constanza took Steven in her home so she can take care of him. Steven had long forgotten about the monster аnd it seemed like he moved on - he continued to be a model. He attened school. Constanza thanked the mist for this - it made it seem like a dog attacked him. But she knew she had to tell him the truth one day. She was too old to protect him. And the newly found Dyslexia nd ADHD were worrying her. One day she decided that it was time Steven learn who he is. "Pepper there is something i hid from you for a very long time...but it's time i tell you the truth". Steven had just came home from School. He left his bag on the rack near the door "What's up Constanza" he asked. "There's something i wanted to tell you...But you were too young then. You're 17 now pepper - a big boy, so you deserve the truth." Steven looked confused "Constanza what's wrong?". The maid took a deep breath "You don't remember pepper but when you were 13 a horrible monster attacked you. You survived but the mist eraised your memmories...You're a demigod my pepper." Steven looked surprised by Constanza's words "A demi-what? What monster? And what's the mist?" Constanza had him sit down next to her and explained him everything. Steven's face turned white. He wasn't scared of the storry - he was scared because it was true and deep down he knew he couldn't deny it. "Pepper...Yor aura has become too strong. You'll attract more monsters...and i'm too old to protect you." she paused. The worst 3 seconds of Steven's life "So i decided to send you to a special place for children like you. The place which took care of me when i was young like you." A small tear rolled down Steven's face "We'll have to part pepper. But don't cry. We will see each other again someday." Steven was crying. He had to abandon another special person in his life. "Constanza i don't want to go. I want to stay with you!" He cried in his maid's shoulder. "It's not safe here pepper...now i want you to take this." Constanza gave him a small envelope "Everything you need to get to the place i told you about.". Steven opened the envelope and found some gold coins, a strange Buisness card with what looked like a Taxi number on it and a small silver bracelet with a miniature bronze scythe on it. Steven couldn't stop the tears in his eyes. He knew that this goodbye may be their last. He looked at Constanza and huged her "Thanks you...for everything you did". He then called the number but no one answered. "Hurry pepper - the Gray sisters are waiting" Constanza pointed towards the window where a very old New York taxi had parked. "Goodbye pepper. And stay safe" She said with a tear in her eye.

When he was walking to the taxi Steven realised how unpleasantly logical this whole story was. He never knew his parents, he was always an outsider. He didn't wanted to believe it but he had to. He quickly ran towards it and got into the car. "Where are we going sweetie?" a very old eyeless lady asked him. This surprised him a little bit but it was nothing compared to what Constanza told him literally 2 minutes ago. Steven didn't know how to answer her question either. He fliped the card and saw Constanza's handwritng 'To camp Half-Blood'. "Uuuuum to camp Half-Blood?" He was very unsure untill a second gray, old, eyeless woman answered him "Right on honey" and the car dashed through the land. In 10 minutes time the car stopped. "Pay up" a third woman said. He pulled the gold coins out of the package and gave them to the ladies who kicked him out of the car. Having a second to adjust to his suroundings he saw some small buildings and an archway in the distance. As he got close he read "Camp Half-Blood" on the archway. He steped through it in the place he was about to call home from now on.

Steven's Bronze Scythe

Now, 2 weeks after his parting with Constanza, Steven is behind the safe walls of Camp Half-Blood trying to make friends and find out more about his past.

Powers

• Offensive:
  1. Children of Eros can manipulate the thoughts of a person for a short period of time in order to make them able to only think about the person or thing they love or favor most. Once used on a person it becomes ineffective on that person for a moderate amount of time.
  2. Children of Eros have the ability to focus an emotional energy beam out of their love, which will burn anything it touches.

Defensive:

• 1. Children of Eros can cause people of the gender they are attracted to, to lose all desire to attack them for a short time (in the case being that they are bisexual or pansexual etc it would be only people with the same gender of their current or most recent partner). Once the child is attracting someone, they cannot attack. So the power is purely defensive.
  2. Children of Eros can generate a veil of the emotional energy from the feeling of love, the veil will protect them from damage for a short time, but cannot be used if the child does not have the love to fuel it.

Passive:

• 1. Children of Eros cause anyone of the opposite gender to be, at least slightly, attracted to them, they also attract people of the same gender that consider themselves gay or lesbian.
  2. Children of Eros are innately proficient archers.
  3. Children of Eros have a partial resistance to charmspeak, charm-touch etc.
  4. Children of Eros can detect emotional ties between different people, if they’re lovers, friends etc. and can find out about someone’s previous partners, including: if they had sex, and how long the relationship lasted. They can also easily tell their sexuality and ideal partner, it works better the more emotionally concerned the child of Eros is for the target.

Supplementary:

1. Children of Eros can manipulate the feeling of love of people by either removing it or increasing it towards themselves or other people. This is temporary and requires a lot of energy, although using it towards oneself requires less than if it were towards other people. Ex: They can make someone love and admire them, or hate them, or make best friends hate each other, or two enemies feel love for eachother.
2. Children of Eros can infuse emotional love magic into their arrows or any other weapon in their possession, if the weapons hits the intended target, the target will temporarily fall in love with the first object or person they see for a moderate time. After which, the target is immune to further use of it for the rest of the fight. (Note:The Love magic works better when used with arrows though.)

• 1. Children of Eros can decrease or increase someone’s lust, such as increasing a desire for sexual intercourse or simply wiping it out. An increase in sexual desire can be resisted by sheer willpower and will only last for a short time, this depends on the magnitude of the target’s sexual desire before it was attempted to be altered.
  2. Since their father was depicted as a winged god, children of Eros can sprout wings for a short time, this enables them to fly; the longer they maintain this state, the more energy it drains. They must rest between flights and cannot make long distance traveling without resting often. However the wings are vulnerable to injuries and magic; they can also be customized to the user’s preference.

3 Months After Character is Made:

• 1. 1. Children of Eros can infuse magic into their grasp, and ‘charm-touch’ another person into doing their will or revealing a secret to them. The person will remain under the control of the charm-touch for a few minutes or until control is relinquished, and the child of Eros must touch the skin of the person they want to affect. ‘Charm-touch’ is considered more powerful and can override charmspeak due to the fact the user must make physical contact with the target.

6 Months After Character is Made:

• 1. 1. Children of Eros are now able to channel their loving emotional energies to construct combative and non-combative objects, formed one at a time and no more than 2 to 3 times the size of the user, which takes on beautiful, magnificent and seemingly harmless appearances depending on the user's preferences. They can also create semi-living constructs under the user’s complete control. However, their ability to use the power, and control the construct, is hindered before or during use when they experience emotions that are like hate or malice. As these emotions are felt, the strength of the object begins to fade, becoming dull and brittle.

9 Months After Character is Made:

• 1. 1. Children of Eros can feed off the love they’ve given or received in their lives and become an embodiment of love. This would make them more powerful, immune to all attacks, enhancing their physical prowess and power over emotional energy they previously possessed. This only lasts for a short time, after which the user will be so exhausted they would lack the ability to even move for some time.

• 1. 1. In some cases Children of Eros tend to be fiercely loyal and compassionate to their loved ones, friends, and family. In other cases, they love creating romantic strife. Cheating on partners, seducing others already in relationships etc.
     2. Children of Eros tend to be very flirty and attractive, causing them to retain a youthful skin/hair/facial appearance than others after completing puberty.
     3. Children of Eros tend to be very mischievous and cunning, often seen making plans to prank or matchmake other campers.
     4. Children of Eros typically get along with children of Aphrodite.
