Taekeo is immature to say the least but it isn't by choice, it's because he hasn't been alive for all that long. His aging occurs in weeks, so during his first week on earth he would be like a one year old and act like an infant, and so on and so forth. When he reaches the end of his set lifespan which is five months, he would have the personality of a twenty year old man. However for right now, Taekeo is seemingly enjoying living the life of a child; collecting plushies, playing in the sandbox, all those fun things.
Aside from the set age personalities that come along with every week, Taekeo is generally a very carefree person. He always enjoys himself and can often find things to do even when he's alone, which isn't all that hard because he can be entertained by the smallest of things. Although he doesn't entirely understand the meaning of love or affection, he is a very affectionate person who often enjoys skinship such as hugging, cheek kissing, etc. Along with being affectionate, he doesn't fully grasp the fact that people need personal space, even people he just met. Which often results in him feeling automatically comfortable with someone he's only known for a few hours, and he'll even get upset if they aren't equally as comfortable with him as he is towards them.

Taekeo was never really supposed to have been created. In fact, he was only in a dream as one of his co-creators' twin. This co-creator, Taiga, had a dream where he had a twin. He had always wanted one, but since he was an erotios it would never have happened. Or at least that's what he had thought. The night that Taiga first had a dream about having a twin, it had peeked the interest of Morpheus who was looking over dreams from around the world. The idea of messing with the erotios came to mind, and with that Taekeo was created to be his "twin".
After the creation of Taekeo, he appeared at Taiga's bedside immediately with very little knowledge. But as he was essentially made just so Morpheus could have a bit of fun, Morpheus put a cap on Taekeo's lifespan. By using a poison that would kill Taekeo within four months, his plan was perfectly executed and Taekeo began living his life as a dream spirit, totally unaware his life had a deadline.

Powers of a Dream Spirit:
- They have the ability to send a small wave of energy which will cause anyone effected to believe they are dreaming for a short time; after the effects have worn off, a person is immune to further effects of this for a moderate time.
- They have the ability to make someone think they are seeing their worst nightmares brought to life for a short time; attempting to scare them into not attacking.
- They can meditate in order to speed up their rate of healing; they are constantly drained while they do this.
- Dream nymphs can speak to people in their dreams
- Dream nymphs can enter a person's dream, but the longer they remain in the dream, the more it drains them of their energy.
- Dream nymphs can cause someone who is asleep to have a nightmare.
- Dream nymphs can slightly control dreams
- Dream nymphs can see into peoples dreams whilst they sleep
- As they are nymphs they do not age, remaining eternally young.
- They have a telepathic/empathetic connection with nature and other nymphs.
- Dream nymphs are nocturnal.
- Dream nymphs like to see into random people's dreams, and know their ambitions.
- They are well adept at interpreting the dreams of others.
- They often tend to be day dreamers, with their heads always in the “clouds”.
